Reviews
Guests generally enjoy their stay at this boutique hotel, praising its beachfront location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. The hotel offers various amenities such as beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, and paddle boards, which are appreciated by guests. However, some guests find the mattresses too soft and the walls too thin, causing noise disturbances.
- Beachfront location with easy access to beach amenities
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Mattresses may be too soft for some guests
- Thin walls may cause noise disturbances

So clean and staff was so friendly. Great location.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are clean, equipped with a fridge and microwave, beachfront with umbrellas and chairs, as well as a big publix grocery store just a 5 minute walk away. Everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation at your fingertips. I will definitely be back
- 5/5
Amazing staff, view. Great location.
- 5/5
This is my 2nd time in the property. Complimentary parking for 1 car.
- 5/5
Very good!
- 5/5
Right on the beach. Everything worked great. Just an old Florida motel but renovated and nice and clean. Front desk staff was amazing lady.

as the surf rolls in and out the Tides carry on

Very nice and clean hotel with an excellent location. Office staff was very friendly upon arrival. Later in the room it was difficult and I could not turn on the TV as it took two remotes that I couldn't figure out how to get the TV to come on. Then the air conditioning was set at 75 and there was a controller on the wall that didn't work. Upon calling the office the next day and tell him staff they told me they were sorry. Then called back and said that the air conditioning works fine and that the controller was inside the closet, which I had no idea that I should look inside the closet. They also said that the TV worked and they went there and got it to come on but it took both remotes to do it. It was a one-night stay for business and other than the air conditioning and television, the air conditioning being the most important, it was very nice. I felt a discount or a discount in the future would be appropriate. However, none was offered. I do come to the area two or three times a month and would love to stay at that hotel again.
- 3/5
I would have appreciated a towel change and the waste baskets being emptied midway between our stay. Our room was not serviced the entire time during our stay. I would have really appreciated at least clean washcloths and hand towels, but was not provided with either. The room was very, very clean, but had a very, very strong smell of cleaning products which was very offputting.
- 5/5
Great retro hotel built in 1950. Totally updated. Super cool. Loved everything.
- 4/5
Overall, a nice place in a great location. Clean and great access to beach and restaurants. SOme things in the room didn't work. Need to let on the beach later using the resorts umbrellas and chairs.
- 4/5
My family and I stayed at the Tides for the third year in a row in April. It is a small fairly quiet very well maintainedproperty. The pool is lovely and it is located on the beach. Parking is right in front of the property, it could not be easier. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It is situated less than a mile from Fort Lauderdale by the sea so an easy walk to restaurants, shops bars, etc.. It is where we stay in Fort Lauderdale before venturing down to the keys. We plan to go next year as well.
- 5/5
Great place and location! We will go back if we can ever find availability! They stay booked because it’s great! Our grandsons had a blast!
- 4/5
Tres bien dans son ensemble et bon service.
- 5/5
Small hotel with a great pool and beach access. The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating.
- 5/5
This is my second time staying here, rebooked because we loved it so much! So quaint and convenient. It’s steps from your room to the beach, and Lauderdale by the sea has a lot of restaurants and shops in walking distance. William was so kind and helpful. We will be back!
- 4/5
Very clean room, beach chairs and umbrellas set up on beach is a plus. The beds are very low to the ground and walls are thin so can be noisy at times. Short walk to the center for restaurants and shops.
- 5/5
Great place. Clean and staff very friendly.
- 2/5
Very very basic room with thin walls claiming to be ocean view but you couldn’t see the ocean from outside our room. Expected much comfier loungers and warmer reception for the price. We paid $500 for 1 nt..$300 would have been fair.
- 4/5
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Great location. The only negative about this place was the extremely slippery shower floor.
- 2/5
Poor quality
- 5/5
Had the penthouse. Staff was very helpful. Confusion over my reservation, but worked out.
- 5/5
The Tides Inn was right on the beach, so a great location. Free chairs and umbrellas and staff attendant that brought the chairs was amazing. No ice machine - other than a tiny ice maker in the water dispenser in the tiny lobby. Room was clean and efficient - walls very thin so you can hear people next door. Location is great - I'd go back.
- 3/5
The room was clean, the beds were OK. Great location. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We needed to stay for 2 extra nights due to our flight being cancelled. The room charge doubled for one of the nights.
- 5/5
Tides Inn makes you feel like family.
- 5/5
Location, on beautiful beach short walk to restaurants and shopping, Would like full size coffee maker in room.
- 2/5
Expedia did not match the lower price charged by the hotel, nearly $400 in overcharges. The marketing of this old run down motel as a “ boutique” is a misrepresentation. No hot water on day 1. Amenities were missing, for example no bathrobe, slippers, or even soap to wash your hands. No screens for the windows. Electric plug hanging out of the wall was a fire hazard. Mattress & bedding was old & uncomfortable. No “premium” bedding to be had as advertised. They even limited towels to one per person & the “free” water was a total of 2 bottles for the entire stay. The closet consisted of wire racks & a drape. No instructions provided for the safe. I would never recommend this motel. The only redeeming quality is the location on the beach, though you had to be located on the second floor to have an ocean view.
- 2/5
This is not a boutique hotel as advertised and is in fact a low budget, rundown motel. The rooms have no amenities and are minimal with makeshift bathrooms, old furniture, cheap mattresses, and thin walls. You get two bottles of water and one bath towel on check/in. You are charged for everything and it is run like a third world motel. Our room was in disrepair and smelled like strong floor cleaner. It is located on the beach but views are only available on the second floor from the narrow porch.
- 5/5
The room was exceptionally clean! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic and we loved being within walking distance of the pier. We will definitely be back again!
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the staff was so courteous and friendly. The pool was clean and a good temperature. We were able to swim in January! Loved the view and the location. We would definitely visit again!
- 5/5
Lovely location— right on the beach and walkable to shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
nothing
- 5/5
The staff is exceptionally welcoming, kind, attentive and attentive to our needs!
- 1/5
They only have 4 parking spaces in front of the hotel and if someone else supposedly pays for a better room than the yours has priority in those parking lots you will have to park very far from the hotel it seems to me a lack of respect they also gave me a pass that is a literal paper a printed paper so that the city does not tow your car whose paper they do not tell you or that you have to return or what to do with it When I did my checkout the office was closed and they called me claiming the paper the person who attended me, a woman whose name did not say, clearly told me that it was my responsibility to deliver it when no one really told me anything about it and also she was not at the time of checkout I WANTED YOU TO PAY $30 TO SEND THEM SAID PAPER, I think it's incredible for a paper that you can reprint, in fact I HAD TO SEND IT ON MY OWN In the area there are many better places to stay, I don't recommend it at all My experience was horrible Ah, then, the checkout is at 11am and from 9:30am they are touching you in the room to know what time you leave I come back and I repeat I will never go again and I do not recommend it to anyone
- 5/5
Nice hotel directly on the beach. Beach is not too busy and they have chairs available. Very relaxing. Bedding low with thinner mattess.
- 4/5
Location is great, staff is very accommodating, it is an older establishment, nothing fancy, but everything you need. It’s a quintessential beach motel. The beach is gorgeous and it’s far enough off the beaten path to be nice and quiet, except you can hear people in the neighboring rooms so be aware the walls are thin. Especially if you’re on the lower level and there is someone above you. I recommend getting a second level room if you can. Convenient to everything. Pool is very nice and clean. Steps to the beach. Only downside is the beds need to be higher. They are literally a foot and a half off the floor, which is WAY too low for adults. Fix the beds, make them taller and comfortable, and it would be five stars.
- 4/5
Great spot on beach.
- 5/5
Fantastic place. So clean and wonderful staff. I loved the hammocks. Beach chairs and the lovely pool. Very small with only a few rooms.
- 2/5
Let’s just say the linens were stained. Also, the beds were not comfortable.
- 5/5
very nice
- 5/5
Clean rooms great location
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at Tides Inn. There was so much to do! Corn Hole, sea kyacks, and chairs with beach towels! We only wish the weather had been better. We will have to stay again!
- 4/5
I love staying at Tides Inn. We have been there several times. It’s quiet and the beach access makes it the perfect spot for early morning coffee and sunrises. The rooms have everything you need but a little updating (specifically the beds) would make it the perfect place to stay. Tides will always be one of my favorite hotels in this area.
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
This is a very basic little place but William and Scarlet are amazing and the location can't be beat. You're just far enough away from the larger hotels to avoid a crowded beach, yet close enough to walk to amenities. They put out the beach chairs and umbrellas for you(no charge) and they have bikes you can also use at no charge. We really enjoyed our stay!
- 3/5
Now, for the not so positive. The room itself left a lot to be desired. The bed is a very low to the ground frame and has a super soft mattress and poor quality, ill fitting sheets and duvet which meant for uncomfortable sleeping. Also the rooms have those connecting doors for housekeeping and you can clearly hear the conversations of the people in the next room. Attempted to iron a shirt and the iron leaked water all over the shirt and floor. The room lacks quality for the price point.
- 3/5
The rooms showed a lot of wear, crumbling ceilings and bathroom doors didn’t lock/close and smelled very musty.-Time for some updates. Beach service gentleman was great.
- 5/5
Susana is a sweetheart 😘
- 5/5
Everything was so clean and the beach access was amazing. Got to enjoy the sunrise just walking out our room to the beach
- 5/5
love this place
- 5/5
This was the perfect hotel. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. We will definitely return
- 5/5
Only place I’ll stay!! Wonderful!
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
No bathrooms available
- 5/5
Great staff, location and overall stay
- 4.5/5
The parking situation.
- 5/5
The Tides was simply charming......we will definitely be back. Everything about it was perfect. Scarlet and William were so helpful and friendly as well. Can't wait to see them again
- 5/5
The staff, in particular Susana and William, were extremely attentive to making sure our stay there was A+! Very friendly and accommodating to our needs! I love the Tides Inn and will continue to come back year after year! My family loves the Tides Inn Lauderdale by the Sea!
- 5/5
Excelente ubicación y muy atento todo el personal
- 5/5
Truly a special place.
- 5/5
This ia a beautiful property, right on the ocean. It is close to
- 5/5
Very nice location
- 5/5
The staff is so friendly and welcoming! The location couldn't be better. Our daughter spent every minute in the pool!
- 5/5
A quiet peaceful environment to keep in mind. Would love to come back!
- 4/5
Loved the hotel. It was clean and close to everything but the AC in my room didn’t work properly the entire time I was there. We had to sleep with the fan on and it was very uncomfortable. Other guests were complaining about the same thing. We reported it but they couldn’t do anything about it. The staff was very helpful and I would go back if they correct that issue.
- 5/5
Peace and quiet!! Great weekend!!
- 1/5
The room itself was also a letdown. It was very small, and the beds were extremely low to the ground and uncomfortable. It felt more like a budget motel than a relaxing beach getaway. Overall, this was not the experience we hoped for. Between the parking situation and the uncomfortable accommodations, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to others.
- 5/5
Good communication with the front office, very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Proximity to restaurants was ideal.
- 5/5
Near everything , front beach , warm pool and nice staff
- 5/5
This property is clean and there is maid service. The beach chairs are uncomfortable and hurt your back. There is no foot rest They advertise robes and you do not get them. Room smelled of mold and clothes did upon returning home. The beds were comfortable but very low to the ground.
- 3/5
I arrived early at 1:40pm (check in is from 3-5) and was approaching the office to see if by chance my room was ready. The lady working office could not have been more rude. When I was reading reviews on places to stay, almost every one spoke of great/friendly staff. NOT my experience..at all. Was told yes room was ready but I would be charged $75 for early check in. I left saying I would return between 3-5pm. I received a call at 4:10 from same lady telling me I needed to be back before 4:30 because she was leaving. Hotel itself and location are really nice but absolutely will spend my money at a different hotel next trip to the area.
- 5/5
Very clean, friendly staff, great location close to shops, restaurants and bars. I’ll put this hotel in my saves!
- 5/5
Nice location easy walk to beach and restaurants.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, right on the beach. Staff is the best part of the property !
- 5/5
The Tides Inn is an excellent location for all things beachy. Love it and stay there every time we visit family in Florida.
- 5/5
I liked everything this property is a little hidden gem. The whole staff makes you feel welcome.. you walked out the back gate right onto the beach they give you umbrellas and cheers you don't have to rent them you want to lie in a hammock they have that you want to barbecue grill they have that bean bag toss, you want to go bike riding they have that a beautiful view of the ocean and beach they have there you want to go kayaking they offer you that no charger close to everything. I plan on going back again and I recommend it to anyone else to try.
- 5/5
Excellant
- 2/5
Right on the beach with a pool. Could be amazing if they cleaned the rooms and upgraded the beds and aging furniture.
- 5/5
This hotel was small, cute, and clean. It was well maintained and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It sits right at the beach and walking distance to the restaurants and shops. Would recommend if your going to visit Lauderdale by the sea.
- 3.5/5
A/c did not keep room cool. Had to run box fan that was already in the room
- 5/5
This was our 3rd stay, lovely property and William is the best!
- 5/5
We arrived early and we greatly appreciated being able to check in ..very nice staff! We will definitely recommend this place..
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our time on the island! The condos are very clean and the location is perfect. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The pool and the grounds were immaculately clean and beautiful. You can’t beat being right on the beach. Area is very quiet and walkable.
- 5/5
This was the cleanest hotel! Staff was fantastic! Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Tides Inn was an exceptional property in a perfect location! So happy with our stay!!
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. The location is prime!
- 4/5
Such a great spot. Right on the beach and a smaller property so it’s not crowded will definitely visit again. The only downfall due to its size I couldn’t get late check out and had to book a day room else where.
- 5/5
This property has a fantastic location - can walk to many restaurants and shops - easy check in and love the coded doors where you don’t have to carry a key!
- 5/5
Clean! accommodating! location!
- 5/5
I loved that it was small and private. Perfect location right on beach and close to everything. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful!! Our second time staying at the Tides inn!!! Loved it!!
- 5/5
The location is right on the ocean. It was immaculate and the staff was so friendly. I would stay again with no qualms.
- 3/5
There was no breakfast! Not even coffee outside the room. We needed more room.
- 5/5
The only thing I didn't like is the small ice maker that is unavailable after 6 pm
- 3.5/5
beach, pool, location room was dark & very small for 4
- 5/5
Very nice place right on the beach. Fantastic location.
- 5/5
I really enjoy the peacefulness of this Resort. It feels like you have your own private beach. The beds are very comfortable. The water pressure is strong and very hot. I've stayed here previously with my family and we love it. Will definitely be back in the future once again. The only downfall is that there is not more than one parking space if you have more than one vehicle.
- 5/5
Perfect !!!!!! Nothing all PERFECT
- 5/5
Complimentary kayaks!
- 1/5
View Accommodations were the poorest we’ve had in Lauderdale by the Sea and we will not stay there again. Bathroom mirror was rusted and spotted, rooms were small, hardly any hangers, cofffee pods were rationed to three per day, no housekeeping provided - never even had clean towels offered and we paid over $1,100 for 3 night stay.
- 5/5
This place is fantastic. 5 stars all day. Clean Rooms, Staff is on another level. William busts his tail!!
- 5/5
The location is amazing. My room opened directly onto the beach with a huge balcony. Very nice place.
- 5/5
The staff is phenomenal. They manage it very well.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 5/5
Tout c’est parfait! Everything it is perfect
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 5/5
The staff was the best. Short walk to beach.
- 3/5
Check-in is a bit awkward. They supposedly sent an email they gave you a code I didn't receive I've been had to find staff by calling the number on the door and then they were very offended that I didn't have the code. It seemed the property is OK otherwise nothing special
- 3/5
Ocean view Beds were horrible, too low and uncomfortable
- 5/5
We loved our stay and will be back.
- 5/5
The staff at the front were so helpful and kind. William was always available and helpful too!!
- 5/5
On the beach, chairs and umbrellas included, pool clean and good temperature, god bed.
- 5/5
Very clean and relaxing
- 3/5
We stayed at the Tides Inn approximately 9-10 years ago, after it was rebuilt. It was beautiful at that time. It appears only the necessary maintenance has been done on the property since rebuilt. The locks on the door were extremely finicky although perhaps from salt water corrosion? We were in the oceanfront 1st floor unit where sadly the wind and rain were quite prevalent during our stay. The ocean facing sliding glass doors leaked at the bottom during the night so that the scatter rug in front of the door was soaking wet when we got up monday morning. My husband notified the office and office response was "We know". And gave us a dry rug...which was also wet the following morning. When one is paying over $300 night for a room, one would like it to be dry inside for the length of the stay. In addition, the cable box did not work properly and had to be changed out but I will say the manager on duty on a sunday evening was extremely pleasant and helpful. She had to return several times to get it to work. Due to the circumstances, we moved to a different hotel. I hope the owners of Tides Inn make an effort to upgrade what needs to be addressed because one really cannot beat the location.
- 5/5
The friendliness and hospitality of all of the employees were top notch. They checked on us daily, and offered solutions immediately. They were so kind and helpful! I would definitely recommend this property and would enjoy visiting the property again.
- 4/5
The maintenance man at the hotel was amazing. He should be the owner
- 4/5
Room was dirty and they didn’t want to do a room refresh.
- 4/5
Great location. Large room. Tiny kitchen / dinning area. Limited cooking area/ equipment ice compartment not working. It’s Ocean front but you can’t see anything except a low wall, a glass screen then 15ft away high dunes. Only way you know there’s an ocean there is by the sound of the waves.ROOM 7 . Not worth the room rate. When trying to ask question prior to arriving from the UK the replies came back in capitals followed by exclamation marks, as if I was inconveniencing them. Then in their reply they got arrival dates. Just didn’t inspire confidence. When I tried to check in I waited in the reception, no one there, waited , then eventually found the receptionist outside, round the corner with a coffee chatting to maintenance, this was 10 minutes after it opened. No explanation of the resort/facilities etc. There’s better for less
- 5/5
Exelente
- 3/5
Property is a little run down and in need of some exterior renovations. Room was fine, but my “patio” wasn’t really a patio, but a narrow strip that people walked through because the private sign blocking the path was broken (I was on the first floor), so I had to keep my curtains shut. 2nd floor looked to have a nice view. View on first floor was a sand dune. It was noisy with thin walls. Parking in the area is tough, but they did have an assigned parking spot for us, so that was nice. Great restaurants in the area easy to walk to. Overall it was okay, but I doubt I would stay there again.
- 3/5
People next door were yelling at each other and the door between our rooms didn’t keep anything quiet. No one on staff to help find out what was going on.
- 5/5
Cute beach town and convenient location on the beach
- 4/5
Close to the beach and if you stay on the second floor, you have a great view of the ocean from the shared balcony but with your own chairs. Overall we loved our stay. The staff was friendly, but because it was low season, they were not always easy to find to request room cleaning and beach chairs and umbrellas. We would stay here again in the future.
- 5/5
The staff were most helpful with all my needs
- 4.5/5
simple, clean, quiet, comfortable accommodations within walking distance of shops and restaurants; loved the uncrowded beach and pool, parking was easy; perfect for my kid and me
- 4/5
Right on beach, free paddleboards, mgmt helpful, steps to beach
- 4/5
Great place. We loved it. The room made it easy to make food We didn’t have to go anywhere. If you plan
- 5/5
Low key hotel with excellent pool and beach area.
- 4/5
walls are paper thin, you can hear every sound but its clean, location and staff are fantastic.
- 5/5
Great place with the comfort and privacy
- 4/5
Liked it has a kitchenette as I am restricted as to what I can eat. It was nice and quiet at end of June so we had the beach and pool almost to ourselves much of the time. Would recommend if you want to chill, be beachfront and have access to kitchenette. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Very nice stay, all facilities are clean, the staff are very very friendly and the beach in front is amazing.
- 4/5
Staff was great! Really nice place to stay! Small complaint would be that the walls are a little thin. Would stay here again next time.
- 5/5
The Tides Inn is very nice! Scarlett and her team are hospitable and welcoming! The inn is well maintained and the room was comfortable. We appreciated the parking spot, the chairs and table outside our room, and the lovely, spotless pool area. It’s evident the cleaning crew takes pride in their work. The location is very nice! Will book the Tides Inn Hotel the next time we’re in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea!
- 5/5
We enjoyed very much our 10 days at the Tides Inn. A great location to enjoy the beach of Lauderdale by the Sea and local amenities. The staff were great and the chosen room met all expectations, we will certainly revisit in the future.
- 4/5
Small hotel with great staff
- 5/5
Small property with friendly and helpful staff.👍
- 5/5
Absolutely love staying here! Always so relaxing and peaceful. The staff is super friendly. It’s our home away from home.
- 5/5
Tides Inn is a hidden treasure! The staff were so helpful with amazing customer service with allowing us to check in and out late for a small fee. With an outside grill, free chairs with umbrellas, bikes and paddle boards to rent for a small fee, this place was absolutely fantastic. It felt like we had the whole beach to our selves with 0 crowding and super safe. Thanks Tides Inn for making this Moms Trip UNFORGETTABLE! We will definitely be back soon ♥︎
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 5/5
Beautiful place safe
- 5/5
Lovely, easy going boutique hotel with a beach vibe. Beautiful view of the oven from the rooms. There are no frills but all the basics are covered. One area for improvement: the beds are REALLY soft.
- 4/5
The only thing was a way to soft mattress bed… I guess a personal preference.
- 5/5
Excellent experience from the location, the super staff, and the room itself was amazing. Very nice for a small hotel. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. 10 out of 10
- 3.5/5
Location was great Staff was never available. If you ran out of clean towels or coffee you were SOL.
- 2/5
Excellent location. Walkability. The room didn’t look like the pictures on the website. In reality the room looked very worn and tired. However, the most disappointing part of the room was the fact that the beds only had 4-5 inch foam pad directly on top of a wooden slat bedframe. There were no mattresses. When you sat on the bed or you were to lie down on the bed, you could feel the slats of the frame. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such uncomfortable bedding. Additionally, the neighbors above my room were very loud to 11 PM each night, running, jumping, dragging furniture across the floor and were very disrespectful. I understand this is an older building and so sound carries, but the behavior was disrespectful. There’s no staff on site after 5 PM so there was no one to report this loud activity to.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
The only criticism I have is that there is no public toilet or changing cubicle, so whilst you are welcome to continue to use the facilities after you check out, if you need the toilet or wish to change in private, you need to go to the Publix supermarket a few minutes away to do so. Otherwise, it was faultless.
- 5/5
Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Beach is excellent.
- 5/5
staff provided excellent service.
- 5/5
This is a little gem! It’s right on the beach and also has a pool. They provide chairs, umbrellas, bikes & a few water sports gear like kayaks. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but clean and perfect for a beach stay. The long porch is an excellent place to sit any time of the day or night. Rooms have a mini kitchen. It’s walkable to everything in town and is safe at all hours. Loved it!!
- 5/5
All the staff were very pleasant and willing to assist us. The amenities were awesome. Great access to the beach and easy walk to down town. Room was perfect for the three of us. Close proximity to grocery store. Absolutely love it.
- 5/5
It is definitely a hidden jewel. Within walking distance to dining. Not sure why they take up the hammocks before dusk as it would have been nice to lay in them and look at the stars by the ocean. Just a question I forgot to ask. Very close to walk to beach. Updated rooms and smelled very clean. Definitely will come back when back in the area.
- 5/5
Great location. Very responsive if you had questions. Great customer service.
- 4/5
Walls were very thin in the rooms and you could hear everything in the rooms next door. It was a great stay overall.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel on the beach. Room was spotless. Beautiful pool. Awesome ocean view. Easy access to beach. Parking close to room. Lots of amenities. The staff was so great especially Ronaldo. Safe neighborhood. Close to Lauderdale by the sea. Will definitely stay again. Loved our stay.
- 3/5
Great location! Helpful staff. Paper-thin walls.
- 5/5
It was amazing. Cozy, very clean and walking distance from Lauderdale by the Sea. Definitely going back.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Great motel right on the ocean! Loved it.
- 5/5
The manager -Ronaldo made our stay very pleasant. We enjoyed the beach location and the friendly staff at the hotel. We would definitely recommend the hotel and we look forward to returning soon.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the property. The location was great, right on the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Love this place!!
- 5/5
Wonderful little hotel right on the beach. Immaculately maintained. Friendly front desk. I will definitely go back!
- 5/5

Tides Inn is a lovely hotel with an excellent location. Before arrival, they sent us instructions about our room number and provided us with a code to enter. Then, the next day we did the check-in. Reynaldo welcomed us and explained to us the amenities the hotel has. The hotel is spotless. Their personnel made sure the hotel was clean all day long. The beach is within walking distance from the hotel. We are delighted with the hotel and can’t wait to come back!!!

Wonderful little place. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Entire property is immaculate. Lots of restaurants and shopping very close. Nice beach chairs and umbrellas and they even set them up for you!! Would love to return sometime!!

Spotless everywhere , and very friendly staff. the best : nespresso machine at the room The worst: mattresses , they truly need to change them , they are not ok. I read reviews about this and hoped the management took action before I stayed but unfortunately no. Bikes are available but until office closes. I wished there could be more bikes available and free to take them and return them as needed

A few things to note. #... I was uncomfortable that there was no deadlock on the room door and anyone with the code could just enter the room. In addition there was a door in our room that was to a connecting room. That door was opened TWICE by cleaning staff while we were in bed. Unacceptable invasion of privacy and made us feel very uncomfortable. #2...I booked this specific room because I need to cook for my gluten free son. The photos online make it look like there is a microwave AND an oven. There is no oven. There was a countertop microwave and a broken built in microwave. I struggled to make the meals I had bought ingredients for because I did not notice before I went shopping. Many items I bought needed up in the garbage. #3... There was not much to do around the hotel. The little town nearby was mostly loud bars and restaurants. We ended up spending a lot of money on Ubers to find things for our young child to do. We really enjoyed the Ft. Lauderdale Children's Science Museum of Discovery.
