Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas/Lewisville-Vista Ridge Mall, TX

I have visited this hotel twice..The rooms are nice. The staff is very professional..The only problem was the pool not being open neither time I stayed there..With that being said I would still visit again

Had a great stay, location was great for what we were in town for

Our stay here was excellent, clean, comfortable atmosphere and courteous staff. In particular, Alicia greeted us at check-in with the most welcoming and friendly hospitality we have ever received, anywhere!! She remained very polite and helpful throughout our stay, even praying with us for a friend who was in an accident while we were out of town! I hope management recognizes what a treasure she is to their establishment!!!

Staff upon check in was great. Room was clean and smelled great. The shower was nice and spacious but was built bad because a lot of the water drained out into the main bathroom, there was not lip to keep the water in the shower. We had to use all of our towels to soak up the run off in order to not have a slipping issue in the middle of the night. Luckily the towel cart was out that morning so we grabbed a few on the way by. The TV was difficult to use, didn't want to power on with the remote, had to fiddle with the power button on the TV multiple times. The breakfast was fairly good on our first morning, waffles were good but the juice dispenser as mixing too much water in the apple juice. The second morning breakfast was very disappointing. The waffle batter had too much water in it and when you pored it into the machine it all evaporated and left a thin crust on the machine. It looked like someone took water and put it in the batter to make it produce more waffles that it should cheap way of not having to buy more. I also watched another customer complain about the chocolate milk carton being sour.

Everything was 10/10 from the location to the customer service!

This was our 3rd time staying at this Hampton in Lewisville. Very convenient for us. Close enough to airport, and family that live in Denton and Dallas. A lot of food choices very close. Room was clean and always comfortable beds at Hampton. Breakfast was good, and the staff very helpful. We stayed 4 nights over Memorial Day Weekend, in town for a Graduation. The only reason I gave 4 stars, the pool was closed this time for repair, but other than the pool being closed, we enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again in the future.

So overall 5.0

Stay away from the rooms on the end with the flag pole. The wind blew all night and banged the flags. Very disruptive.

Breakfast was always fresh and the attendant was always there if something ran out. The eggs were from a plastic bag, but fresh. I understand real eggs crack. Always a variety of food.

The couch cushions were torn in 2 places (I have photos); smoke alarm was covered w/ plastic that was secured to the smoke alarm with a rubber band; air conditioner in the room was super loud—sounded like a plane taking off & very odd loud sign when it turned off. Also, the bright light near the entry door to the room as extremely bright w/ no way to turn it off or cover it up. Have never seen a light like that in a room & I have stayed in numerous Hampton Inns. I am a light sleeper & very light sensitive. This light was unnecessary & was a pain in the butt.

Hotel was clean, staff friendly and breakfast hot. Various options for breakfast both mornings we ate there.

Room was clean. Sofa had a good size rip in the upholstery (Not a good look). Shower needs an upgrade. Definitely need to fix the climate control system. When the heat kicked on, the unit made this crazy high-pitched buzz. Eventually it becomes background noise you can ignore if you're disciplined, but I would imagine some guests might go so far as to request a different room.

Well I had asked for a king bed, but when I got to the room, it was in disarray, and I was then assigned a room with 2 queen size beds, which is not a big deal, but it was right next to the elevator.

Clean, well-thought out and spacious rooms. Reception extraordinarily courteous, offering water and snacks for in the morning because we had an early departure. Would have liked a few amenities, e.g., shower cap.

We stay in different hotels every month. This property was really nice and the staff was really nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. The beds were comfy and the shower was very refreshing.

The person at the check-in desk gave family members my room number even though we booked separately and do not share a last name. I do not feel that was appropriate and have concerns for others safety if that is standard practice (what if it was someone fleeing abusive partner and the front desk gave out that info)

Staff was courteous & room was clean. The fridge was in a cupboard; the cupboard lower bracket was broken; & it stayed broken waiting for parts. The maintenance guy was very apologetic.

Deceptive practices, you see “self parking” beware !! It’s their lot however small signs telling you to download an app and pay, no reminder as you check in and you wake up to a ticket. It is beyond greed gouging and disingenuous. HILTON brand has been declining for years….sad. #neveragain

They had a gospel church with loud music until 12:30 am. Smelled like Marijuana in our room when we came back in from a day out.

Clean and close to the venue Their key system broke and their were no move to fix it by the owner. The staff tried their best, but had to walk all guest to their rooms to open their door.

Room super clean, nice welcoming people

I wish I could be more positive about this visit… the room was okay, but the A/C system on and off and on and off all night, and so loud. Not good… the real bummer was the lack of room keys - the system to make them was down, and the front desk attendant (sometimes a wait for them) had to go up and open the room every time; worst thing was their attitude - suffice to say, in the evenings it was not good. Not sure I’ll be back.

Black mold growing in shower area. For three days, room key was not available(system issue). I probably won’t be using Hampton Inn anymore in the future.

Great hotel, very clean and modern

None of the gym equipment worked snd some of it was broken. They allowed dogs in the rooms and one was howling all night. The business center had no printer ink. Kind of a rundown area with only one decent restaurant option.

Everything was great, except for the fact that the door key system in the whole hotes was not functional. The desk clerk had to open our door and we couldnt leave our room to go out unless the clerk came up to open the door. Never had this happen in all my extensive travelling life

Ac would cut off during the night. Refrigerator wasn't working. When i told them I was told the deal person was the ONLY person there. I had bought groceries for a 4 night stay. They brought another one the next day.

Mostly everything was in good condition for the short stay we had and staff were polite. Air conditioning didn’t work correctly and was hot all night. Beds and pillows could have been more comfortable.

I've stayed 2 weekends already and will probably stay more. We come from Midland (5hrs away). My daughter plays soccer here so we come almost every weekend. This will be our designated stay. Alicia remembered me and was very friendly and welcoming. Felt very comfortable here😊

The whole place was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was that we had two rooms and one of the rooms didn't have a cord to the tv. We were only staying one night so we used our ipad instead so it wasn't a big deal. We would definitely stay again.

The cleanliness and how well maintain is the property.

The breakfast area was dirty and it was 30 mins later a lady finally came out and started wiping n replacing eggs. Just felt there wasn't much attention to the area. The pool trash was filled. Not sure if there was a lack of staff.

As a family that travels often to the Dallas area, this is going in my "saved for next time". Friendly people, super clean, amazing breakfast. I rarely do reviews so just the fact that I am willing to praise this hotel is a big deal for me. Loved that they are located in an area with lots of good dinner options.

We had an AWFUL experience here, did not stay- ended up having to book and pay for another room. We had paid for a 3 night stay in advance. Our flight in was delayed and we didn’t get in until about 3am. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk and after 45 min we had to call corporate just to find out that our reservation had been marked as “No Show” and was cancelled. We ended up being at the front desk for over an hour and the employee who was supposed to be working never surfaced. Corporate wasn’t much help either, when I called I was put on hold for 10 minutes while they tried to call the phone at the empty front desk that I was standing at. They gave no solution other than to book another stay with them, which we not so politely declined. We were told no refund could be made. We ended up going across the street and had a great experience. Would give ZERO stars if I could.

Everything was great with the exception of the very heavy doors and low water pressure in the shower.

Staff & Service was excellent

The check-in was smooth. The front desk throughout the stay was friendly and informative. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast had good options. If you are low carb/keto they dud have a cheese omelette and bacon. A fun bonus for my kids was the Texas shaped waffle that they got to make at breakfast.

I would suggest they have someone dump the garbage at least once during breakfast. Overflowing garbage cans is distasteful. Still, the breakfast was good. The eating area was spacious.

We've stayed at most of the other hotels around this one but not this and I will say, this is the best among them and will definitely be staying here again if we ever have to. I actually got some sleep here and the room was nice. Staff was great. We didn't get to have breakfast so I can't comment on that.

The sink in the bathroom the spout was placed in an interesting position and difficult to was hands. Also, the bathroom door opened in front of the toilet where you can hit your head on the door handle.

Went to Dallas for hockey game. Room was very nice and kept up. Location was near DART station. Got a great night’s sleep in a comfortable and quiet room. Checkout was quick and easy. Will definitely be back.

We always have good stays at Hampton and this hotel was no exception. We stayed 3 nights...visiting family around the Dallas area and was conveniently sutuated for us. Also, 20 mins from DFW. We had a great stay.

Near Dillard Outlet; breakfast had a variety of foods; maid service good. Did not like a neighbor who left their dog barking for at least 1 1/2 hours and I requested a hearing impaired room on third floor and got one on second floor.
