Check in was extremely fast even with one person working the front desk. The line went very quickly and she was efficient and polite. This stay was absolutely fine for a quick overnight stay (we were in town for a concert) but I wouldn’t stay longer. The carpet in our room had some random wet spots in it so we didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot and our room had an unpleasant smell compared to the hallway. The shower left standing water in it when in use but our bed was very comfortable with great pillows. Stay was okay for the price and staff was extremely polite.

Extremely loud HVAC system in room that ran almost nonstop just to maintain 70 degrees when outside temp was barely 70. Tiny bathroom had very little space around the sink for toiletries and was very dark because the only light was over the sink.

I stay at this location every time I use BWI Airport for travel, it’s a great place to park and stay before my flight.

We only stayed one night because we had a very early flight to BWI the next morning but the room was nice and clean. We had drinks at the bar and had food at the bar. Staff was friendly and the food was good.

The beds, room, bathroom, etc were neat which is why the 4 stars. Lost a star due to late check in. I feel like if we had stayed an hour later we'd be penalized for it. So, that kind of goes hand in hand.

When I had the chicken sandwich at the bar, I spent sixteen dollars for the chicken sandwich The meat was barely there.It was so thin and small, like extremely... it was basically chicken skin fried on a thick bun.... all the other food was great. That was very disappointing, especially for the price.

Did mot include breakfast and did not pay the extra fee for it. Hotel was a little worn/aged, staff was friendly though. Room was clean except trash was left piled in bags outside our room when we arrived after check in

The lights were confusing, there only seemed to be a wall switch for the hall light. Everything else had to be turned on at the lamp itself. None of the USB ports worked, they were all loose. Outlets were hit and miss, the only one that worked well was the one in the bathroom. The AC never met the desired temperature, I don’t think our room ever got below 70 degrees when we had the thermostat set at 60. There was half of a false eyelash on the bedside table. The light bar in the bathroom was rusted and the lights were not bright enough to shave. The mirror in the bathroom was old looking and needed some type of work on the frame. The wallpaper on the bathroom was curling. The pillows were far too small and soft for my taste and the comforter was far too heavy. The mattress was fine and the refrigerator worked well

Bed was comfortable but room was very shabby. Worn furniture. Dark. Dirty carpet. I would not go back.

The hotel itself was nice. The room was comfortable. We had a large group of high school athletes on our floor who were having a good, loud, silly time in the hallway. After 11 or so, they quieted down. The breakfast buffet was mediocre. The staff was friendly.

The clean staff, I was disappointed, I asked the young lady to change the bed linen, and vacumm, she cleaned the restroom and left WITHOUT changing the linen and vacuuming. I called the front desk told my situation, they passed the call to the cleaning supervisior, when I told her of the situation she stated the following "we only change linens on Thursdays" ( Friday, the day I requested the change) I then asked, so you only change linens and vacuum on Thursdays, she said I will send someone up to vacuum. Nope, the linens was NOT CHANGED, even though I asked.

The cover on the heater is missing the foam weatherstripping. There’s a little on the left side but none on the right side. Felt like a cold window was open. I resolved it for my stay by placing a folded bath towel on top of the heater. You should repair this so the next guests don’t freeze.

Wonderful and accommodating staff. A personal preference, but the pillows were really soft and flat. My husband did not mind the pillows though, so totally personal preference. A lovely stay overall! We really enjoyed Baltimore, and it was nice having a nice place to lay our heads.

All employees I dealt with were amazing and beyond friendly. Checking in was easy and I was even accommodated with a gluten free cookie! I love that they thought of those of us with dietary restrictions. The room was very nice- clean and comfortable. The bar was open until midnight, unlike some hotel bars that close early. Double Tree Hotel BWI Airport will be my hotel when traveling here from now on!!

The room was very clean. It was quiet on the 3rd floor at the end of the hallway. We asked for rooms together for a group of 6 but we were spread out over 3 floors. It’s a great place to park your vehicle when you go to BWI.

We missed our connecting flight so we had to get a hotel room for the evening. The van drivers to and from the hotel were excellent. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The woman at the front desk when we checked in, was not friendly, and did not direct us to the elevator so we had to come back and ask because there are two Towers. She also gave us bad information about the van the next morning, telling us to be down there 20 minutes before the van was due to leave …there wasn’t a soul around and we could’ve used that extra 20 minutes of sleep.

It looked nice from outside. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Most staff was friendly but there were a few who were not. We hung out in the lobby to have a drink and the chairs were dirty and used looking. Walking to our room, the walls were rough looking and areas of the wall paper was bring held up by corkboard tacks. The room was nice and clean looking. It could havw been better lit. Overall not a bad hotel.

I came to get rest before my flight and while sleeping kids were banging on my door and also slamming theirs as well running in the halls being very loud. I was very unsatisfied.

Atmosphere

The hotel itself was poorly maintained: the furniture was peeling, the bathroom grout was dirty, and there was even a spider in the first room. I ultimately did not stay at the hotel because of these issues, yet I was still charged for the rooms despite not staying in them. Given the circumstances, I’m requesting a full refund for the charges. It’s disappointing that a property under this brand would handle a guest’s health concerns so poorly, especially one involving pregnancy. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, addresses the lack of cleanliness and communication, and ensures that future guests aren’t treated this way.

Stuck me in a room by the stairway. 8 feet shorter than a standard room. The bathroom was like a closet. Actually had a tub to step into. No grab/safety bars in tub! Air/heat sounded like a washing machine. Was supposed to be a queen bed. My feet were over the end (only 6 foot tall). I felt like I was sent to purgatory. Never stay here again.

We really like the conveyance of the hotels location to the airport. We tend to take the first flight out and this gives us a little extra time to sleep and peace of mind. No hazel checkout. Rooms are clean, plenty of room for two people to spread out. Bed was comfortable to get a good night sleep. Checking in was quick, staff extremely friendly and fun. Always love the cookie. If your not wanting to go out, but need to get out of your room for a bit, the bar and lounge is a nice place to sit have a drink watch a game, watch/talk to people, or I saw a couple playing cards. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

I stayed here for the Baltimore running festival. This place was affordable but high quality. Didn’t get an opportunity to eat breakfast there since I had to leave for the race before they opened but that’s on me, not them lol. Definitely plan on staying there again next year!

Old property not well maintained yet safe and does the job. Everything in room was loose: emergency door lock, lamps, toilet paper roll holder, bathtub handle and faucet, shelf in bathroom. AC unit looked rusted and old (yet worked well) and window curtain rod was also old and rusted (over AC unit). Otherwise bed and bedding was clean as well as towels. Daily housekeeping. Door locking mechanism caused issues - needed new battery. Took 4 times me going downstairs to get appropriate assistance to get into room. Safe and secure area and good location without being downtown. Free parking

Our welcome at the front desk by Jackie(?) was very warm and welcoming. We immediately felt like we were in very good hands. Our room was clean and perfectly suitable for us.

Unlike the Ramada, which was dirty, bed only had sheets no cover, lamp broken and the env ironment looked like homeless people were being house there. Nothing against the homeless.It should not be on your list of recommendations and I should recieve a refund. Ty

I witnessed the lady at the front desk be blunt with (2) different guests before she got to me, and sadly she was not the friendliest with me either.

No free breakfast, no free coffee. Not much options to buy breakfast. No computer/printer to print boarding pass. But the staff at the counter helped to print boarding pass for me.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt I should share my experience in case other guests face the same. I stayed from August 2 to August 3, and during my stay, I noticed unpleasant smells in the hotel and especially in my room. The bed sheets, covers, and pillows had a strong bad odor, which made it uncomfortable. There weren’t many amenities in the room, and housekeeping never came to check. The bathroom trash was full, and I wasn’t informed if I needed to request cleaning, which was disappointing. I hope the management can improve these things for future guests.

The bed was comfy and the AC in the room worked. Outside of that, there was no AC through the rest of the hotel. I purchased breakfast with my booking assuming this was a continental breakfast i could grab and bring back to the room. Nope. Restaurant style, again, with no AC and it was too hot to sit and wait. Charged $50 for late checkout, which i agreed to previously, but had 4 different attemps by cleaning service to come service the room. Ruined the entire reason for late checkout (sleep).

Me and my wife were looking to spend some time to use the pool at this location, but the pool was closed. We went back to our rooms only to encounter there was an issue with the power. I feel like management should have told us at the front desk that there were issues in the hotel but nobody said nothing. I feel like we were cheated out out of our money. I am giving this a one star because this happened to us twice within two days. I always use Hilton and this is a shame for them.

Staff was kind of rude and not helpful. Rooms were ok. The sealing was leaking poop water and they had no other way around it so we had to walk through it. I understand these things happen sometimes but what disappointing is weeks before arriving I informed the hotel that we were arriving late and I’m traveling with children and would like rooms near each other. We arrived and they were like oh sorry we only look up your info once you arrive and we have no rooms together

It's a really nice resort.

I booked this hotel on June 20th 2025 and June 21st 2025. On arrival I could see it was visibly dirty the floors had caked up dust by the wall trims on the floor. The couch was so dirty I couldn’t seat. The paper wall had peeled considerably. By the second day I saw a roach on the bathroom floor. By the end of the night I had killed 3 roaches total. I alerted staff they offered to switched my room, within 5mins another roach. Needless to say I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in any of the rooms. Unfortunately it was about 1am at this time. All other other hotels would have been booked as confirmed by front desk staff. I pleaded to stay in their secondary lobby until morning as I would be leaving for the airport that morning. They refused and security insisted I leave and called the police. He was upset that I raised my voice although I never insulted him. I am yet to get a refund. The manager was very unhelpful. Please stay away from this hotel!

The bathroom was not clean and the bathtub was running very slow during the shower the water stuck inside the tub, also the old lady who work at at breakfast aera was really rude and annoying. But fortunately the lady who check me out was nice and made my day.

The first thing was the parking, there is none and there's a car there with no wheels. It was very unsafe there. On towels at the pool, i was in room 513 the night stands very dirty. Needed more towels in the room they was only 2.

Doubletree is known for their warm cookies and they we cold and seemed like just taken out of the wrapped and placed in the new paper sleeve for aesthetics. On the plus side the staff was great, they were pleasant and tried to accommodate the guest as much as possible. The surrounding area was great and convenient to shopping, food and the airport. I was truly disappointed being that this was a DoubleTree and had great ratings which I do not see how. I would not recommend this hotel for the price. It is more along the lines is a motel.

What can I say? this hotel completely fell off of the status quo our room wallpaper was not aligned with the seams ,shower curtains that didn't protect the water from creating a puddle on the floor. had to step out in a puddle of water after taking a shower each day , receptionists, at the front and desk, gave us a lot of issues for asking to change to another room this hotel was no different than staying at motel 6 , after a very nice gentleman from the engineer department demanded change our room, also, there was a big issue of tires being stolen off your vehicle this was unsettling this interrupted me and my wife sleep all night, hoping to have tires on our vehicle the next day this hotel is unbelievably inconsiderate why wouldn't they have a security gate? To protect the customers

The restaurant was closed on one of the busiest holidays which is an extreme inconvenience. They also required a $50 deposit at check in which was NOT stated when booking and paid for the entire room already. They ask of your a Hilton honors member but you get zero points booking with Expedia which is ridiculous. The rooms looked like motels with chipping paint and lights that do not work. I was misled by all the positive reviews. Would never stay here again

I have partly the timing of my stay affecting the environment as it was memorial day weekend and kids and teenagers were everywhere. The cleaning staff come at 9am, and I read I would check out at 11 am. It was clean and mostly did the job, but the seclusion and calm I wanted was lacking.

Expedia had me book. When i arrived i was told they had been out of rooms since 5 hours ago

The airport shuttle was great. Every half hour/24 hrs. and the driver was very helpful

the staff and people working were incredible

Great Hotel. Staff was so nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is the pillows. They need to be more supportive.
