Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, there are consistent complaints about the valet service, lack of parking options, and issues with room amenities.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Valet service is often slow and expensive
- Limited parking options

Great place to stay! Clean room, welcoming, friendly staff with all needed accommodations! Have stayed at this hotel several times & never any issues! Always a pleasurable stay! Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Unfortunately, several inconveniences affected our stay. After returning from our event around 11:00 p.m., we discovered the restaurant, kitchen, and room service had all closed at 10:30 p.m. When we asked about snacks, we were surprised to learn there were no vending machines available. Since it was a Sunday night, most nearby restaurants were already closed as well. Thankfully, we had leftovers, but our room did not have a microwave. We were directed to the only microwave in the hotel, located downstairs, where several guests were already waiting. I do want to recognize Matthew at the front desk for his outstanding customer service. While the hotel itself was wonderful, I hope management considers adding vending machines, additional microwaves, and better late-night food options for guests.

The team were outstanding with their friendly and professional service. We really enjoyed our time at Marriott Little Rock and will make it our first preference next time we visit. Highly recommended for both the location and excellent friendly services.
- 3.5/5
Location was excellent especially for events at the adjoining Statehouse Convention center. Bathroom was spacious. Unable to get larger double beds such as queens. The room is relatively small. I had a river view but no balcony . No closed shelving in the room and lighting is not good . The plug outlets could have been better placed during the architecture. Also the central plugs under the lamp were not functional. Parking is not included and required to either park on the street or two parking garages a couple of blocks down. Thus best to get valet but is an extra daily expense. No venting in the bathroom.

Excellent . Every time we stay here it is great

Very nice hotel Item came up missing in our car after it was taken by valet service. We looked all through the car for it but could not find it.

The front desk employee was nice, air conditioner worked well. The room wasn't very clean, dirty or stained sheets, the bathtub/shower was leaking all night, the fixtures on the sink are new but somehow rusted, the mirror was old and filthy, very low lighting in the room. Did not feel like a proper Marriott at all ... side note: they are connected to a Starbucks and the next morning their espresso machine was down... not blaming Marriott, but bad experience on their joint property and advertisement campaign all over the hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was spotless and the room exceeded my expectations
- 4/5
Housekeeping didn’t come until after 5pm when we already returned to the room so we didn’t get our room cleaned. The bathroom door was busted so it never locked, the room smelled a bit funny as well. Other than that, decent stay. Nothing extravagant
- 5/5
Beautiful downtown riverfront hotel. Close to lovely waterfront greenbelt with paths and monuments, varied restaurants and historical neighbors. Staff always accommodating, courteous, and detailed in meeting my requests. I love the open high-ceiling ornate lobby with restaurant and bar adjoining: excellent food and drink options. Convention Center next door with indoor walkways and local art featured along the way. Full-valet service 24 hours a day: efficient and courteous. One valet attendant named Alex went way above and beyond his titled job and assisted me in getting to a Walmart to purchase a temporary cell phone when my broke. Such a fine young man who made a big difference with his kindness. Quiet rooms, beautiful views. Great for business, couples, families, and solo travellars.
- 4.5/5
Good rooms, ammenities, and location. Excellent compared to most other hotels I've stayed at. No vending machines or ability to purchase small goods (snacks, drinks, toiletries, etc.) past 10:00pm. Also, one light bulb by the bed did not work

Everything great except parking which was $32 a day and valet only. At busy times they couldn't keep up. Big traffic jam in front of the hotel. 20 min wait to get the car. What a mess.

Great choice for downtown Little Rock.
- 5/5
They upgraded us to an amazing room for free when they found out it was our wedding night.
- 5/5
Stunning Experience!
- 3/5
The hotel staff was great. The bar/restaurant staff on the other hand was awful. I’ve never been somewhere that the staff was just offended that they had to serve me and the other hotel guests I was with. And then when we weren’t served we decided to leave and go across the street which they were also offended but why would we stay? Anyways. Also the mattress killed my back. I’m 35 and woke up feeling 95
- 5/5
The property was clean, offered onsite store with drinks to stock in room fridge, and all staff members were friendly.
- 5/5
Great hotel convenient nice rooms!
- 5/5
The rooms were great, the meeting spaces were perfect for our large group and the restaurant was outstanding. Try the crab cakes (yes I know, crab in Arkansas, just trust me).
- 4/5
The room was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice. The lobby & public areas were very nice. The rooms could use a little refresh like new carpet but overall it was decent stay. I would stay there again. It was fine

Wonderful stay. Everyone was so helpful and nice. The hotel was wonderful
- 5/5
All was well.
- 4/5
The location is convenient for walking to restaurants and bars. Staff was friendly and room was very clean. Definitely figure out where free parking is located before going. The valet parking is charged every time you need your car, not by the day like the website says. We were there only one night and got charged $66 for valet parking. That was the only negative about the place.

This is the hotel I’d stay in that area. The price, location- on the riverwalk, staff was super friendly and helpful (especially valet) and the bed was comfortable.
- 2/5
The staff was polite, the lobby was beautiful. The room was well below average. What I paid for and what I got were two very different things
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. Rooms were nice. Location is great.
- 5/5
Very nice!
- 5/5
It was amazing
- 5/5
Valet is pretty much mandatory as parking anywhere else is a huge hassle. Save yourself the trouble and factor in valet to the price of your stay.
- 5/5
Great Staff. Kind and friendly to me when I checked in.
- 5/5
Every thing was great. Restaurant down stairs staff was a little lackluster but that’s my only complaint. Other great restaurants were walkable any way
- 1/5
Expedia canceled our reservation and we were left without a room Even though we had rescheduled another room through their so-called artificial intelligence
- 4/5
Hotel is very nice, Cons are you have to pay $32 extra a day for Valet parking, had the homeless coming into the restaurant asking for money while we were eating and they have no pool.
- 5/5
Room clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
It was amazing
- 3/5
The room had a musty smell to it. I’m assuming it’s because it’s an older hotel. Bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very nice. The only thing I disliked and will keep me from staying again was the valet. We had to get our car out twice and the first time took over 30 min and the second was 20 min.
- 4/5
Room was nice. Clean. Convenient location. Valet took forever. Elevators stopped and I had to take luggage down 7 flights of stairs.
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Conveniently located next to coliseum. We never left the hotel all weekend. Ate at restaurant in hotel. Excellent food. I will say that valet was a nightmare after cheer competition. Plan ahead if you have an event happening
- 3/5
The staff was pleasant and friendly, but they seemed very overwhelmed due to the two large events taking place at the convention center. Valet service was extremely slow — it sometimes took up to an hour to retrieve a vehicle. The elevators were also concerning and felt very unstable, almost like being on a carnival ride. At one point, a family even got stuck in an elevator and had to be rescued by the fire department. It seems that more consistent elevator maintenance and servicing could have helped prevent this issue.
- 1/5
All 4 elevators broke while we were here-multiple times. People got stuck in them and there was no back up plan. All we kept being told is that the elevator service man was on the way back. Why did he ever leave? Luckily we were only on the 7th floor when we had to take the stairs multiple times. There were people far worse off. My biggest issue with it was the overwhelming lack of “give a crap” exhibited by hotel staff, especially the hotel manager on duty who we were told was in the office. Sir or ma’am, FOUR elevators are broken. It’s Valentine’s weekend and there is both a dance competition and gymnastics competition at the attached convention center. As a manager YOU should be standing at the counter answering questions and concerns.

Great beds!
- 5/5
Staff!!! Best staff ever! From the front desk, ballet, wait staff, etc! Outstanding! The rooms are clean and quiet with excellent views! The front desk is tops! My favorite Marriot yet! Time and time again!!!

Had a great stay. Great location. Clean room.
- 5/5
Staff is great and rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable
- 5/5
Little Rock Marriott hotel was the perfect place for our stay. It has clean rooms, nice and polite staff. There is a Starbucks conveniently located on the 1st floor. This hotel is very walkable, to many restaurants and some bars; also to some touristy spots such as museums, parks, and historical landmarks. I would most certainlyo consider this hotel if I return to Little Rock.
- 5/5
Great location and nice rooms
- 5/5
The size, and layout of the room, the view, the bedding, and the cleanliness. The modern day amenities, although it would be nice if the TV had AirPlay capability. Not everyone carries an HDMI and the adapter around.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, plenty of space plus additional lounge room perfect for a traveling family.
- 5/5
Staff friendly efficient
- 5/5
I did not eat breakfast at the hotel.
- 5/5
We stay here often and it is always a nice place, clean, quiet, and convenient
- 5/5
It’s was very clean and quiet plus it had a amazing view of town down.
- 1/5
It was the most frustrating experience and we will not stay at Marriott or use Hotels.com again. We walked across the street and stayed at The Capital which was welcoming and lovely. The front desk staff at The Little Rock Marriott was unhelpful. I had mistakenly booked the following night via hotels.com and there was very little empathy for our holiday travel stress. I was willing to pay for my mistake but not at an unwelcoming inhospitable hotel.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
The only downside was the valet service. We waited about 40 minutes in a long line to valet our car. My mom is elderly and cannot walk long distances, which made the wait especially difficult. Because of the delay, I ended up planning to park on my own and walk back to the hotel. Overall, the hotel was wonderful, but the valet wait time definitely needs improvement, especially for guests with mobility concerns.
- 3/5
Valet is over crowded but the workers did great and elevators take a long time.
- 5/5
As always, my stay was very pleasant, staff helpful, could not have asked for more!
- 5/5
Nice staff, nice room
- 5/5
Everything was great! It was a perfect weekend!! Rodrick did a great job getting us checked in. We walked down to Willy D’s for some great live music on Saturday night!!
- 5/5
Rooms were clean, bed comfy & friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Little America in Flagstaff is simply outstanding..The room was spacious, clean, and elegant. 5he staff is super friendly. The territory around the hotel has many walking tracks and is very green.

They had insufficient staff for the valet parking. We waited for half an hour to be able to exit our car. Once we got in, we found the facility to be very nice and the staff to be friendly.

Very nice place to stay for the big dam bridge 100 bike race. The valets took great care of getting our cars in and out, but I wanted to especially mention Michelle who checked us in Friday night and then checked us out Saturday morning. She went above and beyond with friendliness and a wonderful attitude!

The facility is a huge hotel. Lots of nice amenities. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was helpful.
- 5/5
It was a great experience friendly staff my stay was comfortable
- 2/5
Everything was great except for the room temperature. The motion sensor thermostats guaranteed that we would return to our room being 85 degrees in the middle of summer. While the room cooled down while we were up and moving around (took about 2 hours), the bed was still lava hot when it was time to go to sleep since it had baked in the heat all day long. Additionally, the A/C would turn off in the middle of the night due to the motion sensing. After spending ~$200 per night, we expect to be able to sleep comfortably by setting a comfortable temperature in our room. Please cut costs elsewhere. There is no point in renting a hotel room that you cannot sleep in. We are very tired from sleeping badly all weekend and will not be returning.
- 5/5
The guy at the front desk started off our stay right!! So nice, knowledgeable, helpful, and hospitable. He offered us water and knew the answers to all of our questions! The room was clean and comfy. Room service was delicious although delivery could use some work. All and all from valet to plenty of pillows… I will keep staying here anytime I’m in Little Rock. Thank you!
- 2/5
The room has poor sound insulation, no disposable slippers, and the carpet is old.
- 5/5
For being in Little Rock the hotel is the best around.
- 5/5
Staff was fabulous and enjoyed this property. 8 months ago I stayed next door at the DoubleTree and that was trash. This was a great stay!!
- 5/5
All
- 4/5
The property was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel could use some updates, it looked a little old in our room. The thermostat was set to 74 but our room was 63. The only way to warm it up was to turn it off. Check in and check out was easy and staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again! Room was great!

Great location and stay

Booked a room through Expedia and the Marriott charged me for the room again. Called to help resolve the issue and they said to call Expedia. So, I called Expedia and they are looking into the issue and they stated that the property hung up on them over the issue.
- 3/5
hotel lobby is impressive. room was clean and comfortable. however, I would not stay there again. I booked and paid in advance for a king bed but they assigned me a room with two double beds. I pointed this out to them and they did offer to move me but I declined because I already settled into the room. they told me the rooms are the same price. not true-king room was more. also disappointed that the lobby did not offer complementary coffee in the morning. they told me to go to starbucks. area around the hotel was also disappointing. lots of closed businesses. panhandler approached me for money just a couple blocks from the hotel. did not look safe to go out at night.
- 5/5
Very nice. Bedding and shower are fantastic.
- 5/5
We had a great stay
- 5/5
Nice staff, good location, clean room
- 5/5
This is a beautiful hotel located right downtown with gorgeous views.
- 5/5
Very nice property and clean rooms. Would stay again for sure
- 4/5
My only complaint is that this booking says there is a rooftop garden, but this is false. It may have had one in the past, but it's not there anymore. I verified with various staff on site. As a plant lover, I was disappointed in the lack of this amenity, especially since it was in the property details. Highly recommend changing this, Little Rock Marriott! That's false advertising.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Very clean. Great staff. Very nice stay.

Very nice clean and good staff.

Requested River view did not get River view got half city half River view. I was put on the 16th floor in a dirty room. I requested anotherand was moved to the fifth floor. Room was a little better sheets were not changed although the bed was made up properly had half city half Riverview could not make tea or coffee due to pot was dirty with residue Room was a little better could’ve used some dusting. Ordered room service. The food was not warm not hot. It was Luke warm salad look as though it’s been in the refrigerator a day or two overall I give it a 3 1/2.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Always a pleasant stay at this hotel. Nice big, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location and easy check in. Pretty view of the River.
- 5/5
Amazing stay!!
- 5/5
probably the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a non-super luxury hotel. view was excellent…it’s a shame this hotel was built with 8’ high ceilings, much of the luxurious feel is compromised by the low ceilings. will definitely be back.
- 2/5
First, when we parked in the valet parking area, no one came to greet or assist us. We had to call an employee ourselves, and then he had to call someone else over to ask if we needed parking. Then, during check-in, the staff had a sour attitude the whole time. They didn’t even ask if I was a member—I had to bring it up myself. They also didn’t explain any of the member benefits. When I asked if I could check out a bit later, they actually said, “You’re not,” but then added that I could request a 2 PM check-out. The room they gave us was the last one at the end of the hallway, and cleaning staff were constantly coming and going nearby. Speaking of that, the hotel had terrible soundproofing—we were woken up every time someone opened or closed a door. In the middle of the night, something fell in the bathtub, and the fridge made a loud banging noise. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Everything from the Valet to the front desk and Dennis the shuttle driver to the young ladies working the bar was Excellent! We appreciate the Marriott and Dennis getting us back and forth to the HALL that we were there for a concert and the Valet Team was spot on. The service at the Restaurant and Bar were excellent. A very enjoyable stay! We will back
- 5/5
Staff was great from the minute I pulled up to the property!
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice and clean, loved the Starbucks in the lobby.
- 3/5
Homelessness posted in front of the hotel but no staff guided them.
- 5/5
Having to use the room key for the elevator operation was unique. Valer was incredibly helpful and overwhelmingly kind. Clean room and a comfortable bed sealed the deal. It was a pleasure to stay here.
- 3/5
Always love Marriotts. Have stayed at this hotel in the past. Property was not as nice as I remembered. Room had a strong smell of mildew, probably due to the excessive condensation around the windows. Staff was friendly at check in. Quality of room did not make hotel worth the price per night.

My go to hotel when in Little Rock. Always top notch

Has the same parking woes as a downtown hotel in a large city, valet or no way. Other than that, everything was wonderful even with all of activity surrounding the marathon.

- 5/5
Comfortable and clean
- 5/5
I was traveling for work and appreciated the shuttle service to and from the airport. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this hotel since it was the Peabody, the first time was around 2005. They have upgraded it considerably. The beds are very comfortable the rooms are very clean, maid service is excellent. My only gripe is that there was a bit of noise where we were this time but it didn't seem to bother the kids and I never figured out what it was. The Heritage Grill was excellent where we had breakfast and dinner. The valet is top notch. The staff is friendly and very professional. Staying here has become a yearly trip for us to enjoy the Anime Festival. I could not think of staying at a different hotel. The Mariott is the best in my opinion.
- 5/5
One of the nicest hotels in little rock
- 3/5
Tons of condensation on windows in rooms so much there was puddles of water in the window seals.

For the price per night I will never return to this hotel again.

Convenient for downtown
- 3/5
The hotel & Room 822 were both nice. The drainage in the sink & tub were slow, and the tub water was brown. The valet wait time for my vehicle was HORRIBLE, it took 35 minutes.

New Years Party.
- 5/5
Great location to downtown sites and restaurants.

Great service
- 5/5
An awesome room, very comfortable king size bed, the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. After a late arrival and a good night’s sleep we left our luggage at the front desk while enjoying breakfast and time with friends. Then after an amazing lunch we left to do some shopping before heading home.

This property should have a free breakfast option. In addition, the front desk way overcharged us by almost 250 due to a mistake by the staff there. Parking and valet can be a bit of a nightmare so plan in advance
