Awesome everything was great

It was perfect for an overnight stay. It’s a bit older and outdated.

There was brown stuff on the wall right outside the bathroom, the room was dusty and ants were on the nightstand, the tv didn’t work…..overall they don’t require a deposit so if you’re in a bind it’s a good choice but don’t expect greatness

The checkout staff was nice and the room seemed clean. Check in staff was rude, they had no soap shampoo or conditioner in the room and we were given tiny bars of soap to replace the fact that they were empty. The pool was closed and green.

Convenience and room once we settled in was quite ice and the bed was very comfortable. Big bathtub and epic rain shower. Space was nice and open with good natural and internal lighting. Smelled very "loud" even for someone from Colorado. Not well maintained. Pretty and modern foyer and dining area but of the 3 rooms we saw would say the rooms and hallways need some of the same love for the price. Rented a king suite and asked that the room please be cooled down so we could rest once we checked in quite late. Bedroom AC was not only not cold, It didn't turn on at all. Front desk was very apologetic so kudos there... Tried to get maintenance to fix but had a different king suite as an alternative which was smaller and half the plugs did not work and three of the ceiling lights flickered. Managed to deal with that, moved to alternative room #2 that matched the original suite and that one was great. AC worked, had the layout preferred as well as the jacuzzi tub and separate shower we wanted. So. While it was a bit bumpy to start it was sorted and our multi -day stay was worth it. A little TLC on some upgrades here and there and I would happily recommend it highly. As it is, I would stay again but to suggest it to others I would give them warnings to check their rooms carefully before settling and document the contents because we were questioned about our room having 2 TVs hours after we left. Still, the final room we settled into I would give a good 4...previous 2 rooms not so impressed.

The staffs were very nice during the stay. I would definitely book a room again. We enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was good for what has become the norm for these hotels. Bed and pillow comfortable. Room, breakfast area and lobby very clean. Could hear neighbors talking all night.

It was clean & the location was great! It’s in the middle of restaurants & shopping stores. My husband liked the complimentary breakfast bar, but I didn’t because the pancake machine was out of order. Cracker Barrel is right up the street & saved my morning. Overall I give it a 4.8/5 ⭐️

The room was neat/clean, the bed was comfortable, (didn't use the pillows since I brought my own), the shower was great and the breakfast was adequate for instance they had egg, ham, cheese omelettes, biscuits, sausage, gravy and coffee. I would've appreciated better lighting in the parking lot as well as better lighting in the room and the air conditioning unit was not adjustable. It was set in the "on" position which actually switched on and off occasionally whenever the room reached a certain temperature, I guess. Anyway, it was so cold that I had to use the ironing board to divert the blowing air in a different direction. But, all in all, it was a nice stay and I would stay there again. It's within 1/4 to 1/2 a mile from Baptist Health, which is where I was visiting each day of my stay. I could've easily walked to and from the hospital, but I wanted my car readily available at all times.

Bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the price was right. Very nice breakfast area.

We love this hotel. We try to stay here everytime we are in Little Rock. We love the convenient location and reasonable price.

Upon check we went to our room and everything in it was flipped literally mattress on the wall chairs flipped over and a white substance in the floor I didn’t even put my foot through the door we went back down and the receptionist was very helpful and immediately switched us to another room and when we went to it there was already a couple occupying that room we went back down for the the third time and got another room and it was very run down not clean and the air did not work but seeing as how we were staying there only a few hours due to going to the hospital very early the next morning we just went in and stayed but if given the option would never return and definitely do not recommend anyone to stay at this property

Elevator smelled like urine and floor was sticky it burned my eyes.

I chose because of high rating, but the property was old and dumpy. The room was good sized, but needed renovation. Breakfast was skimpy and unappealing, so we went to Panera across the street.

I checked in online & it made actual check in so easy. I just gave them my name & they handed me 2 room keys. The staff was very friendly, helpful & professional. The lobby area was clean the decor looked nice too!! Our room was clean with plenty of towels. Everything in the room worked!!! The bed was amazing!!! We slept great!!! My only complaint was the smell of marijuana in the elevators & hallways!! It was very strong!! But other than that our stay was great!!! Would definitely stay here again & would recommend to others!!!!

The bed was so comfortable, clean,quite and good location. We hiked at Pinnacle Mountain State Park for the 20 mile mammoth March.

The checkin staff basically pointed at the ipad and told us to check ourselves in. She handed us a key when we were done and said nothing except our room number. Our air conditioning did not work well, and we were hot most of the night. It was not a good experience or worth the money!

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very nice, clean, and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax and feel comfortable. Unfortunately, the plans I originally came to town for fell through and I needed to cancel part of my stay, but the staff was incredibly understanding and worked with me. Their kindness and professionalism really meant a lot. I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely stay here again in the future!

Room was clean. Linens were decent quality. Bed was soft and pillows were good. Staff was friendly and made a late check out easy. Heating and cooling were easy to control. Only complaints are that the water pressure is terrible, the toilet paper holder was falling apart, and the toilet lid and imbalance needs to be fixed.

When I asked if she could assist me, she made a phone call, dialed a number, immediately left a voicemail, and hung up within roughly ten seconds. She then stated—very matter-of-factly—that the issue had been “handled.” At no point did she ask what I needed, nor did I have the opportunity to explain the situation, making it impossible for anything to have actually been resolved. I then requested to speak with her supervisor, and that request was refused. Being denied access to management after receiving such treatment is unacceptable. I travel frequently for work and stay in hotels year-round. Based on this experience, I will not return to this hotel. This complaint reflects not only on the employee involved but also on management’s apparent unwillingness to address customer concerns.

Room had a funny smoky smell. I didn't care for it much.

Food was great the heating/cooling lacked personal control. They were understaffed.

Only complaint was I did not care for the leather seat cushion

Counter person was exceptional, brought up my rewards account on his own initiative.

Television had terrible reception, no fox station to watch the football game, and had Netflix, but it did not work. We’ll find another place next time I come to Little Rock.

Hotel overall was very nice. The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The mattresses were not as comfortable as comparable hotels. I would have liked more variety at breakfast but overall a good hotel.

Anyway, despite these inconvenient points, the place really *is* a good value, and in fact, I am getting ready to book rooms there again in a few minutes for a Christmas trip.

All was okay, but there was no room service. Stayed 4 nights and not even a single day they came to clean the room. Not a good service at all. Please look into it.

I requested a room away from the elevator, so they put us right next to it. There were people partying in the parking lot late into the night. There were sirens all throughout the night, so needless to say the noise from the elevator & thin walls was the least of our worries

I have literally never felt so good about staying in a hotel before. I was hesitant to book after my previous hotel experience. But man. I was blasted by the most wonderful smell in my hotel room, the amenities were nice, the staff was wonderful and understanding... The food is absolutely incredible. It's been only one of the few hotels I've seen where the juice machines at breakfast work. The biscuits and gravy, muffins, bagels were all good. There was generous cereal and oatmeal selection.. and MAAAN what I would GIVE to have those pancakes again. If you love yourself you will book a night here.

We have always stayed here when we weee staying in Little Rock and always have had a wonderful experience with check-ins, breakfast , staff always super nice but this time we stayed we were on the 4 th floor which was fine except we were facing the busy street which is super close to heart hospital and being this was first time on this side of building it was very very load with ambulances and vehicles, but the main reason we were very unhappy was the room right next to us someone was smoking marijuana You n that room , it was so so strong and the whole reason we stay at a facility that is 100% smoke free is because we do not want to ever stay in a room that someone has smoked in or have to smell any kind of smoke. I was very disappointed that we had to deal with that. We did not tell the front desk because of how people are today and cause them to come after us for reporting them.

There were several things but it mainly had to do with the room

Bathroom shower head needs an extension arm, you have to hug the wall to get water on you or rinse hair products out. The room seemed clean. The bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Didn’t notice a lot of noise outside room, which was very nice. The hallway vent was rusted, dirty and disgusting. The lobby area deodorizer smelled very nice.

Everything was great. Only problem is that people don’t want to park on the side of the building so they park in the handicapped parking in front.

In the bathroom where the tissue roller it look like 💩 was on the extra tissue paper and around the tub is was a little rusty and when I check in it was a lady already checking in and I was next to be waited on another couple came up instead of waiting on us next he told us to wait a minute and stop helpin the other customer and I thought that was very very inappropriate!!

The snack bar sucked. The air conditioning in the room did not work properly and it was hot in the room the whole night and I did nothing but sweat. The staff gave an extended checkout time from 11 to noon and at 11:00 they come knocking on the door and open it. Then a little bit later they called the room, I had to tell them we weren’t checking out until noon. Overall I wasn’t happy with the stay and for a room that was $125, not good at all.

Very tight parking lot, glad I was in a mid-size vehicle. Could use more lighting.

Overall clean location and really nice people

The rooms were nice and clean. I did have a lot of concern getting out in the parking lot bc it was so dark. I am female and traveling alone. There were no available parking spaces near the door so I had to park in the side with none of their outside lighting on. Other business and buildings around had lighting on. When I commebted

No staff person was available when checking in. I had to call out & wait a while before someone came. This happened to at least one other guest& I told her my experience. She was rather pissed off. Also breakfast should start at 6AM since some of us like me need to show up for business, allowing for travel time.

When we got in the room the bed had a soiled area on it had to sleep on top of the sheets . We stayed here twice before with no problems . But may rethink the next time.

Quick overnight stay for appt. The room itself wasn’t bad dirty. Don’t look around the edges of the floor or behind furniture! The bathroom…come on. Lipstick on a pig! BUT the water was hot and the shower head was decent.

We spent one night en route to NC and the hotel was fabulous. So very clean when we walked in and our room was large and spacious. The King bed was so comfortable. Can’t say enough about the cleanliness of this Hotel

This hotel is very convenient for those having medical appointments. Very close to several medical clinics, hospitals, and surgery centers. Shopping and restaurants are also in the area. It's our go to place to stay when we have early am appointments or surgeries scheduled.

The room was very clean and updated.

We liked how big our room was, the gym was pretty good, the pool looked clean, and we like how close it is to the hospital. We did not like how long we had to wait to be checked in.

Good Hotel but area around property is not walkable.

We were two women in a room and were awaken at 1:34 a.m. by a man opening our door. Luckily we had the extra lock on, because he would have walked right in. The front desk clerk gave him our room. When I called the front desk to inquire what was happening, she couldn't even complete a sentence. She said it was because she was tired, but she sounded inebriated. The second morning the milk at breakfast had expired and had chunks in it. Unfortunately it had a correct expiration date on it and should have been good. I took a drink and almost threw up. I informed the desk clerk that the milk was expired, while gagging and he starts insisting that I show it to him instead offering any help. Later that morning, I was blow drying my hair with the hair dryer and it didn't have a screen on it and it wrapped my hair up into a 3 inch log knob that took forever to get out.

Nice neighborhood. Easy access from the loop. Decent selection of breakfast items. Well-equipped gym. Clean, comfortable room. Don't waste your time with the "pre-checkin" process they text you. Front desk rep said they still have to get a copy of your DL and a card for incidentals once you arrive even though you can show them the confirmation from completing this process just a few hours prior to arrival, per their request via text, on their site where you submit a photo of your DL and they charge your card $1 to test it for incidentals

When checking in, there was no one at the front desk, it took awhile before someone showed up, but the staff was nice and pleasant. We didn't notice till in the morning when visiting the bathroom there are roaches at this hotel. We grabbed our stuff and left immediately after noticing the roaches. I would not stay here.

Short stay just to sleep. Check in was smooth. They had breakfast but i didn't make it, chose to sleep. Would stay here again. Nice atmosphere and neighborhood with Starbucks and others right outside

The room was filthy and reeked of smoke. The sheets and pillowcases were all stained. There was garbage along the hallways and the whole building was just dingy.

I was checked in quickly and easily. My TV in the room was having issues I let the front desk know and Brady was nice enough to swap my room for another with a television that was working properly.

Pool was shut down

This hotel was convenient to have Baptist Hospital but not as clean as it could be.

The wind gate was a nice property, but they had some maintenance issues that should’ve been taken care of. They didn’t have a phone that was working in the room and the sinks in the bathroom was clogged. We called to report and no one ever came to fix it, which was not acceptable to us, but overall, I would give it a three star.

We changed our reservation to a hotel with a swimming pool. The first day we were told the swimming pool was closed because it needed to be cleaned. We went back later in the day and it was open, but as soon as we arrived we were told it was closed again because it needed to be cleaned. The next day the pool was open but when we used it in the evening I am sure it was never cleaned. It was quite cloudy and did not smell good. Our shower didn’t drain properly and when I told someone they told me no one was there who could fix it. It never did get addressed. The breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable, but I would not stay there again.

This hotel was fine. Great location near the Heart Hospital. Good coffee at breakfast. Nice pool. Quiet, even though our room was near the air compressors. The only thing that could be improved would be replacing the torn window curtain liners.

A great clean place to stay with an easy check in process and good prices

It was very hot in the room at night. The bathtub would not drain properly

By sending emails ahead of time, we could give them all of the necessary info they needed for us to check in. Same way with checking out. In and out without standing in line. Nice place to stay.

Our first room had an a/c problem made a call and was immediately given a new room without any questions. Both rooms were clean and as advertised. The price for the room was unbeleivable for what we got. The morning breakast was also pleasant and good for hotel food. Highy reccommended.

Desk clerk went above and beyond

I was staying for a medical procedure for my brother and chose Wingate because of its proximity to the center as well as the lower cost compared to any of the surrounding hotels. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the facility, especially the rooms, and the rooms were quite spacious. The breakfast was not spectacular but was very serviceable and offered a good variety of items.

One of the quietest hotels I have stayed at.

Very disappointed in the front desk service. It was 1:50 and the lady looked to see if our room was available and she said it was, but then told us check in wasn't until 3:00. We just drove 9 hrs to visit someone in the hospital and just wanted to unload our luggage from the car prior to going to the hospital and leaving our stuff in the heat. We decided to go to another hotel a few blocks up the road where we were able to get a room and check in prior to going to the hospital. So we didn't even go back to the hotel and decided just to eat the nights room cost.

Located very near our doctor and hospital. We stay at this location often and it is always great.

The carpet was dirty. The room smelled cigarette smoking. There’s no store around.

Reference housekeeping: the fitted shett on the bed came loose at the top on both sides, making it less comfortable. The bath handles are loose.

I saw 2 small bugs crawling on the breakfast buffet countertop, which was gross. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel at all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back again in the future.

When we checked in, ariund 10 pm, there was a pit bull loose in the hotel and barked at everyone that walked in the door, front desk said he didn’t know who it belonged to. The next morning we took my husband’s service dog that I told the front desk about when I checked in! We took him to the room to to eat breakfast in the lobby. When we got back to our room which was just down the haul, I had a message that I needed to call the manager. I called and he informed me that our service dog was barking viciously at the door and very rudly told me they were not pet friendly and that he wasn’t a service dog because he barks! The maid was in the room next door and told my husband she knocked on our door and he started to bark and she apologized for knocking on the wrong door! Needless to say we will nit be back to this location and we will turn the very rude manager into the ADA!

The hotel is in a very nice area and has great choices of restaurants nearby.

The only complaint I have is the air conditioner rattled a lot and sounded like a helicopter taking off. Then noise didn’t bother me but bothered my husband. Other than that, I was more than pleased with our stay!
