While MED-VACAYING in the Tri-Valley area, I’ve camped out at 10 various Hotels. I ALWAYS return to the Hampton Inn In Livermore, Ca. Beautiful setting! Fantastic STAFF, rooms, breakfast, MaMa didn’t raise no FOOL!!

Place was great. No issues any the stay. The issues I had were with the checking in and out. I was charged an extra $275 checking, which $100 were for any incidentals (money will be returned back), $75 were for my pet (which I will not get back - perfectly understood), then they charged me $102 (which they couldn’t explain why, but the lady Annita said she would refund, but still hasn’t) and last but not least at checkout I was charged another $90 for no reason. The girl at the desk had no idea what was going on and the manager or owner was not on site or no where to be found. Keep in mind my stay was paid online 2 weeks in advance. I finally called my bank opened up a case of fraud and I am waiting to hear back. Great place and the only place around Livermore that accepts pets. Please simply check your account so you don’t get robbed like I did. $192 still pending.

Loved my two nights stay here. Breakfast was a full spread and it was incredible. The hotel was majorly dog friendly and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. It’s also next to Costco, which was nice for being able to get gas for a dollar cheaper before heading to my next destination. I felt completely safe here as a single female traveler.

Exceeded my expectations- very clean, great staff, quiet, great breakfast (and happy hour (Monday through Wednesday)!. The only issue I had was with room darkness (and this issue is not unique with this property). The small nightlight in the bathroom lit up the entire room at night along with the gap at the bottom of the door, and the drapes/curtains not sealing out light. Please review the value of blackout curtains and the elimination of other light sources during lights out. It is critical for resetting, sleep health, and Circadian Rhythm.

Staff is very friendly, room and bathroom was clean and breakfast was good. Arrived after 7 pm, and clerk checked me in, offered me a water and quickly supplied asked for additional towels. Room was spacious and clean. TV was easy to work and temperature of room was comfortable. We got to breakfast at end of time, and there was plenty of food and it was good.

First, as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I was pleased to see charging stations for my Chevy Volt. Check-in staff was friendly and the process was very fast. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was to my liking. It was a satisfying stay.

The property itself is in a convenient location, rooms are basic, no real amenities and breakfast looked good but did not taste good. The thing that upset me the most is they charged me for an entire stay I already prepaid for and hindered my ability to use that card for the car rental which caused pure panic at the rental desk after a very long day of traveling. They had zero accountability other than "sorry" and I would eventually be refunded. While I was refunded days later, I would never come back here because of their lack of care or offering something for their enormous error which derailed parts of my vacation.

We stayed as a family in the hotel water polar competition in the area and genuinely enjoyed the hotel.

This was probably the best hotel experience I’ve had in a long time. The hotel was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the overall experience was great. I was in town for my nephews funeral. I came down from Washington State with 9 1/2 dozen cupcakes about 20 dozen cookies for The event. I had hoped that my nephew‘s wife could find enough refrigerator space either at the place where the funeral was going to be at or in friends refrigerators. They could not, and so on an off chance, I asked hotel staff who intern asked the manager, and they made room in the refrigerator in the breakfast prep area and I was able to store all but two dozen cupcakes there the other two fit in my room refrigerator. They even helped me load them and unload them. They were so helpful and accommodating I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The maid staff was phenomenal. Overall, this was an amazing stay that took some of the stress off of the reason for my travel.

This wasn't our first stay, so we knew what to experience. The room was clean and tidy, had plenty of simple amenities like lotion, body wash, shampoo/conditioner. We love having a small refrigerator in our room to fill up with some drinks and snacks. The TV works perfect and was a simple set up with out streaming services. Beds are quite comfortable, the pillows are a bit soft but plenty are provided. The breakfast is a really wonderful bonus for a quick easy way to get fed in the morning before you head out for the day. Plenty of options and variety. Staff is friendly, some more than others, but nothing negative to say.

Needed a spot near the Altamont because my partner is working on the windmills and he is working long hard days, six days a week and we live over an hour away. Snagged a 2 day stay for the two of us in a Studio King Suite for the weekend. The room wasn't huge, but it was sufficient for our needs. The room was clean, plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and bar soap for the weekend. Having a mini fridge was so helpful, I had done a quick Trader Joe's run nearby so we had some snacks and drinks when needed. The staff was courteous and very accommodating. I arrived early than I expected and they graciously provided me with an early check-in. The morning breakfast was great for a quick bite and there were plenty of options. We would definitely stay here again.

I would have rated this stay with four stars but checking in was unsatisfactory and made the whole stay less pleasant than the last. Again, the one employee there at between 7:30-8:00 pm was unavailable to check in guests. Besides the inconvenience to incoming guests, if there was an emergency, no one was there to assist.

I did mention to the clerk at the desk when I checked out that I saw a bug that may have looked like a roach . I had noticed there was water damage on the bathroom door and door frame area which is near the tub . Could’ve been a flooding of water from the tub or the toilet . The parking lot seemed pretty lit up except the back area . I don’t eat any of the breakfast except some fruit because I’m gluten free and there is almost always nothing gluten free at hotels . Besides having crappy sugar cereals etc I would never eat any of the breakfasts at hotels , it’s not real food. I need protein, and I’m allergic to pork so bacon and sausage is out ! , only need real eggs not powdered eggs either and some corn tortillas and salsa !

Excellent hotel to stay at! The manager was very friendly and helpful as well as the entire staff! Our rooms were roomy and very comfortable. I was in town for a wedding and brought my kids and grandkids and chose this hotel because they offer a free breakfast. My grandkids loved the breakfast area and they were happy to have waffles and even sprinkles for the topping. I highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is very old, the bedding was disgusting very old, not clean I wanted to leave but if I did that I would have lost my money. I will never go back to this hotel ever again.

No one was working the check-in desk when I arrived at 6pm. I waited 25 minutes for a lone agent, who immediately answered a phone call from another admin person, which took another 15-20 minutes to finish.

I stayed here with family to attend a wedding . The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was very good as was the 24-7 coffee in the lobby!

The reason for the four star in cleanliness is because I am just wondering if our room was a pet friendly room before we came in because when we opened the door to our room, it was very strong smelling of cleaners and in spots the rug fell damp. I specifically asked for a room that did not allow pets in it. don’t get me wrong. I am all for having a very clean room, but when I felt the rug in spots, it made me think it might be a pet friendly room and I did not want that.

Perfect location for my needs. Room was comfortable but had a strong cleaning smell and tile floor was a little sticky. Lots of freeway noise - but it is right next to the freeway and that’s what I wanted, so not really a negative. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Do not trust house keeping at the hotel especially this one at the Hampton Inn Livermore. After realizing I left something in the room after I checked out and when called to check they were no where to be found. No one has checked in after I left which means it had to be there. Staff was not at all being efficient trying to find the lost item and said they don’t have it. I question the integrity of the hotels house keeping. Very shady not helpful at all.

Secondly, the beds! Ohhhhhh the beds. SO comfortable! I don’t even sleep that good at home! The water pressure in the shower was also a HUGE plus! Most places have trickling water but not here! The full breakfast was an absolute bonus! We will definitely be coming back on our yearly trips to the area!

I stayed one night for a work trip. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast since I had to be at the jobsite super early but the staff did help me out with a late check-out so I could freshen up before heading to the airport.

Checking in was easy and Ethan helped us. He was very friendly and pleasant and helpful. The bed was maybe a smidge too soft but comfortable otherwise great pillows. Breakfast was great bacon was tasty and they had multiple flavors of waffle mix which I would love to have enjoyed, but I’m dieting so I was not able to .The room was clean and staff was very pleasant. The building is in good condition. It’s very safe there with multiple hotels in the area have no complaints. I heard minimal noise with the freeway being close by. It was not a problem. It also has a nice gym and a pool.

No toilet paper in our room. Even after room cleaned. Phone in room was not answered by front desk. No one was ever at front desk to ask for toilet paper. Had to make a run to grocery store for toilet paper.

I was very impressed with this Hampton Inn! It was super clean and comfortable. The front desk was kind and efficient in checking us in. The breakfast was good, and it was served from 6 am to10 am, so convenient since my daughter had am wave for a volleyball tournament.

Room right on freeway exit was noisy, but otherwise good room and comfy bed. Breakfast don’t bother, get something in downtown Livermore. Costco around corner good for refueling car.

We had the worst stay that we’ve ever had in a hotel. We got two rooms – neither of them had any hot water the entire time we were there. One of them had had a broken HVAC so it was either freezing or like a sauna. There was no setting it to the correct temperature. It was horrible. We got no sleep and everyone at the hotel was dealing with the same hot water issue, but we had the extra issue of the HVAC broken. It was ridiculous.
