The hotel in general and the room specifically was clean and well stocked. The breakfast wasn't huge, but definitely enough. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, giving us an extra blanket on request and helping with breakfast. We were very happy with the stay and would definitely come back.

The hotel was in a good location. The staff was friendly. One of our team members is deaf and the hotel didn’t have closed captioning on the TV.

Some of the employees were very nice. There was parking close to my room. It was close to a gas station. The room was not the right room I paid for, it was very badly painted and it looked like that room had been a smoking room once before. You have no hot tub and the pool was cold and gross. The beds were so uncomfortable. There was holes in the sheets.

The staff was great, but I went downstairs in the morning to get a cart for my luggage and there was none available. The hotel only has two. The front clerk said that someone would bring the cart to my room so I took the elevator and got stuck in the elevator and had to call the emergency number and wait to get out. I’m glad that I did not panic!

We had a mixed experience during our two-night stay. While the staff was very understanding and accommodating, there were several issues that made our stay disappointing—especially given the price we paid and the expectations that came with it. One inconvenience was that there was only one working ice machine, located on the third floor. More concerning, however, was that we had to switch rooms due to a significant ant problem in our original room. Ants were coming through the window seal and ended up not only in our bed but also in our personal belongings. The staff was quick to respond and did switch us to another room, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the second room had its own set of problems. There appeared to be a circuit breaker issue that caused the refrigerator to stop working, resulting in our food going bad. None of the outlets were functional, so we were unable to charge our devices, and the TV had no signal during our stay. Additionally, the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s rest. While I truly appreciated how understanding and helpful the staff was, the number of maintenance and comfort issues made this stay fall short of expectations for the price. With better upkeep and attention to these concerns, this hotel has the potential to be much better.

The location was great in the breakfast was pretty decent. We had a room with 4 people and when it was time to turn the couch into a bed, we realized there was no bedding for it. When we called and asked for it, the person was new and he didn't know where to get blankets. He finally figured it out and brought us a comforter. So that was frustrating.

Room condition was lack luster. The main tv in the lobby had weird white spots, made it impossible to watch.

Area was nice and quiet, restaurants were close and the breakfast in the morning was very good plus really like the coffee machines where it grinds the coffee and makes a fresh cup of coffee everytime

Horrible billing system. I ended up with pending charges for the full amount of the room, plus the actual charges for the full amount of the room on my credit card, for 4 rooms total, with stays of 4 - 8 nights. I have never experienced this type of billing and I stay in hotels at least 150 nights per year. At the next hotel, I asked about the process, and was assured that the hotel did not charge this way. They also noted that they had never heard of this type of situation either. Although I would stay again with my next visit just based on the hotel, but with this crazy billing, I will choose another.

While I was there, for the second year in a row, multiple work trucks were broken into and their tools were taken, this happened on Tuesday and Wednesday night. 2 nights back to back and also last year when I stayed. Even though they were not my trucks, I feel that Holoday in and the state of California should be doing something to protect the contractors doing work in the area.

Less than 1 hour we got an Emergency phone call from our kid that he was locked out of the house and so we had gone down to the check in desk and explained our situation and asked for a refund for our stay…Was told since it was “Passed check in time” That we would still be CHARGED full rate. WILL NOT USE HOLIDAY INN EVER AGAIN!!!!

Breakfast was good. Staff were all terrific, especially Mylene. Front desk clerk Brody is an exceptional young man, which is hard to find in today’s youth population. The Filipina manager was great and truly concerned about my stay. Upon check out I chatted with a gentleman who claimed his bedsheets were not changed and even had pee on the sheets so he was checking into another hotel. Though I was disgusted to hear this, I told him “IT CAN HAPPEN AT ANY HOTEL.” Even with this disgusting comment, I will still consider HIG because the staff, breakfast, etc more than makes up for it. Very friendly staff member who checked us in & signed us up for their rewards program quickly & efficiently. Our room was clean, quiet & comfy. Unfortunately, we had to check out early to catch our flight so we missed the complimentary breakfast, but we will definitely return again to this hotel!

Had a wonderful stay here, it was just my mom and I after dropping my son off at camp. I would totally stay here again. Although, I would suggest not doing away with all the bathtub showers. I had my elderly mom with me and it would have been nice for her to take a bath.

Overall, the hotel was comfortable and met my basic needs. The free parking was a definite bonus, and the staff was very welcoming. The only drawback was the air conditioning unit—it was loud and positioned directly across from the bed, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, it was a good value for the price, and I’d consider staying there again.

I decided to stay here because it's by IHG. My family has stayed in several hotels by IHG, and we enjoyed our stay. This hotel is not of IHG quality. The staff was friendly, but the hotel should not be labeled IHG. The breakfast was below what I expected. We had to change rooms because the mini frig started to leak which can happen but the room they put us in was two steps below than what we had. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the toilet started to leak later in the evening. I did not want to move again so I just put down towels.

How this place got the rating it did is beyond me. This place is the worst Holiday Inn I have been to. I’m a verified business traveler who travels all over the country. The worst place to stop, I will never stop there again.

Showed up and the pool was out of order due to the health department shutting them down. Had no soap in the bathroom. Then the embark morning woke up to the wall by the fridge covered in thousand of ants. Would not stay again at all.

Bathroom was very dirty

Overall it was OK. Being vegetarian the only breakfast items we were able to consume were carbs and sugar. Also the elevators were out and so we had to traipse up and down 3 stories with luggage. A little concerned about security, was open really for anyone to enter. The only areas you could not enter without a key was your room. On a positive note however, our room was very roomy and clean.

The elevator was broken, so they offered to reassign my room to accommodate. The free breakfast was good and well stocked. The hotel was clean .

The hotel is way over priced for the overall property period. The elevators were out of service and I was put on the 3rd floor. The hotel needs to be updated like NOW! So run down! They didn’t even offer me a discount for the inconvenience of not having the elevators working AND for how rundown it was! Stay away and go to Hampton Inn!

The Hotel and staff were wonderful. The only thing they need to work on is the pool. The pool itself was dirty. It had not been brushed or tile cleaned in a long time. The towels were not restocked in the 4 days that we were there.

Perfect location for our event.

We needed to be near Benioff Children’s Hospital but Oakland feels unsafe, this hotel is near enough to the hospital and the area is lovely and safe.

For the most part this hotel was nice. I took off a star because there was chipping paint around the bathroom door. It’s such a easy fix so not sure why they don’t. Also, the Keurig coffee maker cup kept exploding putting coffee grounds in our coffee. Another easy fix. The free breakfast was really good and the staff was awesome!

i forgot some of my belongings during my stay but the hotel says they didn’t find anything. i called immediately the next day

We couldn’t stay to sleep because after check in we came back and there was no power in the hotel and in Livermore ca was 106 and the whole hotel was without Air Condition…, So we End Up living the hotel We did not stay and they did the will contacts Us and this was 7/22/33 Now is26?

The hotel was really good. Awesome breakfast. The only problem I had is when I checked out. I had a card on hold. I told them I was going to pay cash for the room. I got the receipt and it said cash but when I got home found out they billed my card which really messed up my bank account. Called the hotel up they said sorry but could not fix tell a couple of days. They acted like did not care. The front desk person service was not good and they don't listen to the customer. Now I have to dispute the charge and I should not have to do all this if the person would have listened to me.

The amenities of a large hotel with the intimacy of a boutique. New, modern, clean and excellent customer service. All the staff is professional and personable. I couldn't find hot water for tea and they promptly brought me back a cup of steaming hot water! Breakfast was good with lots of options.

Housekeeper didn't speak English, so she didn't clean the leftovers that previous occupent left in the safe. Notified front desk that refrigerator didn't work. After returning and asking, I was told ”it went through a defrost cycle, but it's working now” Not true. It didn't.

The front desk receptionist during the afternoon of May 29th 2023 was a real psycho and he needs treatment!

The stay was good overall. Issues operating the air-conditioner. The volume control button on the remote control for the TV was not working.

Front desk gentleman was a tad difficult to understand at check in but it went smoothly. Coffee pot in the room was not working but went to front desk and assisted me with a up of Java, aww delicious! Overall nice room, quiet and clean.

One of the better Holiday Inn express as I’ve stayed at. Staff was very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast area was nice and the breakfast was decent.

There was also a spot of blood on the sheets and the pillow case. Although, when I reported it they send someone up right away to change the sheets.

Just a quick overnight family trip. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was a great plus just enough to start the day.

The complimentary breakfast was amazing. Check-in was smooth, the manager personally made sure i got the room i wanted . Also want to compliment the cleanliness of the room , i asked for it to be cleaned and it was cleaned. Overall nice stay . Enjoyed every bit of it.

It was clean, and staffed late into the evening. The room had a microwave, Keurig coffee, and refrigerator. I liked the dressing area bench which held two suitcases off the floor. It did not have a night light for the bathroom, and no tub.

This place needs a lot of maintenance work. It is falling apart. My room had peeling paint, the ceiling had a bog chunk of shhetrock that had been cut out and replaced. Then a little texture sprayed on it. I looked TERRIBLE!

Breakfast; where so many properties are still serving COVID breakfasts, this one is NOT. Hot scrambled eggs, pork sausage, turkey sausage along with the usual yogurt, oatmeal, cereal. They also had amazing cinnamon muffins. Staff all super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Near Livermore outlet stores.

Property location is good, lots of things close by and plenty of parking. The rooms itself are older and worn out. No fan in the bathroom, mold on ceiling over shower, paint on bathroom door peeling, wall paper peeling. Cleanliness was fair but the staff were all friendly. I think for a one nighter or at the most two is tolerable; anything longer would not be. The elevator is use at your own risk, someone got stuck in it and the front desk person said that happens a lot.

The parking is limited. The electric parking spots is more than the non electric parking in ratio.

Would stay again

Not too good: The female who checked us in was not very helpfull. I had to ask about the free breakfast instead of informing us upon checking in. She appears to be in such a hurry to get back to whatever she was doing before we got there. The cleaning folks started cleaning the room above us at 8:45 AM on Sunday. The vacuum noise plus furnitures moving around were simply too much, specially that early. What the heck was that person thinking?

They are doing updates to the hotel which is nice. Check in was easy. Check out was easy. The room was nice.

Solid Breakfast

It was really a nice place. I can't remember the last time i stayed at a Holiday Inn - was impressed with the nice lounge area and updated look and breakfast offerings were more than what i would have expected. The other nice thing was that there were beautiful fields across the street where you could go walking - lots of people were out so you've got places to exercise.

Unfortunately the toilets are very low to the floor so we had to ask for a room with a higher toilet but none there so we were able to get a room with bars
