Reviews
The hotel's location is praised for its proximity to the beach and various amenities. However, the cleanliness of the rooms is a major concern, with multiple reviews mentioning dirty floors, stained sheets, and the presence of bugs. The staff's friendliness is appreciated, but their responsiveness to issues varies.
- Convenient location
- Friendly staff
- Unclean rooms
- Inconsistent issue resolution
- 5/5
Kind of a little hole in the wall, but friendly service and decent place to stay right before your cruise
- 5/5
Ok experience good location
- 1/5
Desk staff was super nice but the property is horrid! There's no getting them to properly clean the room for you or changing to a better room because there is none the whole place is disgusting! Other than that the people were nice
- 4/5
Good Stay close to various stores
- 3/5
Older motel, as expected.
- 4/5
It's an older property but very clean. As we were at a conference all weekend the room was only used for sleeping. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. This is the 4th time staying at this property. Will reserve it again the next time we are heading to Long Beach,
- 5/5
Can’t complain for the price and location.
- 1/5
Bad bathroom amenities
- 1/5
The rooms also stood out—instead of typical full windows, they had small, high, opaque windows, which added to the overall uneasy feeling. The staff member was polite, but the check-in process required payment at the property (cash/debit), even though we had already prepaid through Hotels.com, which was unexpected. Given the surroundings and situation, we did not feel safe staying and chose to leave. Even if the rooms may be clean, the overall environment did not feel safe for our group.
- 4/5
Air conditioning worked great, bed was really clean and comfy, floors clean, everything was nice, super close to a great breakfast cafe and Vons right next door. Only thing I didn’t like was the risky activity and people yelling outside morning and night but what do you expect when booking a motel downtown Long Beach.. guy at the front desk was extremely accommodating and very friendly, parking right outside.
- 5/5
The staff there is always amazing.
- 2/5
Check in guy was great but the house keeping lady tried to kick us out EARLY!
- 4/5
Great area--restaurants (walk around), Vons supermarket directly across the street, laundry close by on Alamitos Avenue. The pool adds to the beach ambience. Lots of historic/vintage architecture in the area, so very walkable.
- 5/5
Air conditioning worked fine, property is centrally located close to shops and restaurants.
- 5/5
Ok for a night stay
- 1/5
Everything about this property, especially the inside of the rooms is horrendous. I don't know why or how this hotel even qualifies to be on hotels.com. 5 minutes after we checked in, we left the property running. Cockroaches were on the wall, the room smelled of death and everything was just dirty as heck
- 4/5
The room was pretty clean but there was glitter glue all over the place & the floor boards were severely raised & creaky because of an old water spill.
- 2/5
For the price, I really don’t recommend it really dirty
- 1/5
Didnt stay left as soon as we pulled up the place had tiny windows they looked like a bathroom window and ot was dirty and looked like a jail cell
- 1/5
Complete run down property in the middle of downtown Long Beach.
- 2/5
Well to be completely honest the accomadations at this location were similar to a Movie made in the 1970's that was a True Story and Extremely Gruesome and Horrifying called The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There were roaches behind the Beds Headboard and behind every dresser and in every corner of the bathroom that i should have asked for a refund due to all the roaches and just the overal condition of it and who The only good thing 🙂 was a very helpful Front Office Attendant who is very patient and helpful but it was pretty crazy trying just to get some sleep

Bugs

One of my worst stays never ever bring your kids here cops were called things happened outside. It’s in an unsafe area. The room was filthy. My wife got bites from the bed. Never ever stay here. even the front desk was under lock and key with a little tiny piece you could talk to you like at a bank. The front doors were locked. There’s blood on the walls walked around barefoot and my feet were black on the bottom. Warning ‼️
- 2/5
It was in an area that had lots of restaurants within walking distance. Homeless people came and knocked on doors, people were having sex right in the middle of the walkway for everyone to see. Pool and hot tub looked dirty on the bottom and AC didnt get cold.
- 5/5
Outstanding 👍
- 5/5
The room is spotless. Bedsheets are clean and fresh. Beds are firm and very comfortable. Pillows are clean, fresh, new and very comfortable. Lots of channels on tv. Beautiful view of the swimming pool from our room. Bathroom is very clean... spotless!!!.. and recently renovated with first class complimentary shampoo and soaps. Large supermarket and shopping just across the street. Wifi works without disruption. Swimming pool was beautiful and refreshing to swim in. Air conditioning works well. Only a 3 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again before and after our next cruise out 9f Los Angeles!!! Thank you to everyone at the Inn of Long Beach!!!!!! So much more inherent value here than what is advertised!!!!

Smelly room and not upgraded properly.
- 1/5
Rooms were dirty and the inn had definitely seen better days.
- 2/5
Paper thin walls. Stiff beds. Concerning activities/behavior outside our room at night.
- 1/5
Once I saw the area--many vagrants, property run down--I booked with another hotel. I didn't feel safe staying there.
- 5/5
The comfortable bed and friendly service. The room was clean and will come back for sure.
- 2/5
The entire building looked run down and very poorly kept. I used to stay in this same place about 15 years ago, but I would not recommend it to anyone I know. The floors in the room we stayed in were VERY warped, and the room smelled bad. There was mold in the curtains, but the bed was very comfortable and clean. Just outside on the sidewalk, there was poop everywhere. This place should be torn down and rebuilt.
- 5/5
The room was so clean and amazing . Amazing coffee!!
- 1/5
Found a bed bug in room 110 and they moved us to another but checked someone else in that room that day after
- 1/5
I've been through various hotels in my life, often with value on my mind so I kind of expect some bad things but this was the 1st time I ever had to cancel. I was told by staff that I was going to be put in one of their best rooms and what I got was pretty bad. Wood table was damaged. Couch had various stains. Fridge had a good amount of mold. Hotel walls were splodgely painted and marked. Graffiti above bathroom doorway. Bed blankets had cigarette burns on them. Biggest offense is the smoke detector missing which im pretty sure is illegal. I planned for 2 nights and was refunded 1 night because it was after check in. Staff was friendly but the room was not. I explained to staff why I canceled. Booked Travelodge down the street and was much better for pretty much the same price.
- 1/5
Cockroaches in bedbug infested
- 1/5
Waited until I showed up to tell me they were out of double rooms... which I reserved
- 5/5
Great amenities. Fridge and microwave. Only downfall is there isn’t a ice vending machine.
- 5/5
Clean room, old place. Great employees! I will be coming back.
- 1/5
The staff was blaring music as soon as I arrived. The condition of the hotel was terrible. Both myself and my colleague checked out because of the condition and safety. The blinds were cut, there were cigarette burns in sheets, the floor was uneven, the room was extremely hot for mild weather, and the AC did not work. On top of the terrible condition of the hotel, I witnessed multiple drug deals occur at the back of the hotel when I was walking home and people were visibly on drugs right next to the front office. No one should ever be allowed to stay here again.
- 4/5
Convienent close to cruise lune
- 2/5
Room had roaches. Bed had cigarette holes everywhere. Tweakers outside, people arguing. Be cautious. Spend the extra $50 for a place that’s nicer.
- 4/5
Nice staff and decent area. Better during the day. Rooms are clean and Valencia’s are great. It’s in downtown so it’s downtown vibes and people. Across from Vons is nice.
- 1/5
Would not recommend it… looks like they
- 1/5
Recommend : you pay for what you get . PAY more !
- 1/5
So dirty!
- 1/5
DO not stay here, it was disgusting
- 4/5
There are a lot of places to eat nearby and a VONS right across the street for groceries. You're less than a mile from the beach. The room was clean and the bed was comfy with three different types of pillows based on what you like (soft or firm). There is a fridge and a microwave. There are some updates that need to be made to the room and exterior. It's not the quietest area so take that into account.
- 4/5
I needed a cheap, clean, easy to navigate around hotel room and this served its purpose.
- 3/5
Pictures were misleading the hotel and rooms looked nicer than they were. Looked like people actually lived out of the hotel.
- 1/5
A lot of homeless folks around, no sense of security, dirty room
- 2/5
The bed was ok. There was a Vons and restaurants nearby.
- 1/5
This place is run down 1 star. We felt the need to check for bugs. We felt unsafe as homes people slept in the hallway. Homeless congregating in the parking lot. Honest… this place could ruin your vacation if you planned by the Expedia photos. Thank God we only stayed one night.
- 3/5
Room was filthy dirty and only 2 towels were provided
- 3/5
.
- 2/5
But the state of the hotel is atrocious. Cockroaches (saw one in my room scurry out from under the bed), homeless hanging out in alleyways right against the hotel, and feces belonging to who knows what right on the property. Bed was very uncomfortable and the “AC just blows slightly below my room temp”. Ended up staying here because I waited too late to book and that’s on me, but this place was gross. Save yourself the regret and book early + spend more, and don’t say I didn’t warn you
- 3/5
Staffs are attentive but the room is dusty and smells like cigarette.
- 1/5
It was so dirty
- 4/5
Good location & 24 front desk
- 3/5
Property is inhabited by folks on a "weekly" basis..double lock ur doors.
- 2/5
Room was terrible
- 2/5
A lot of lingering at night, screaming etc
- 1/5
The rooms are filthy, smell like they have 10 plus years of smoke in the non smoking rooms, the rooms are destroyed with paint patches, drawings in the walls, years of scuff marks and the hardest, oldest mattress I’ve ever seen. The shower had a hole in the ceiling from water damage and that was the better of the rooms I switched out of.
- 1/5
Roaches, in my shower and tub, no thanks. A nightmare, I did not sleep and was so tired by morning.
- 1/5
I couldn’t tell if this was a motel or a trap house. Completely disgusting everywhere you looked. The front desk was so sweet and nice tho, I feel bad that she has to work here.
- 1/5
Ouch! This one hurts because I've stayed at this location before, but the conditions here were horrendous! Bed bugs, dog poop in all the planters(inside the courtyard, and outside the building), and homeless people hanging around the back build making noise late at night. I will not be staying here anymore...
- 1/5
Fridge had not been defrosted in a long time and was full of ice. Drawers in room had crumbs in them and blanket had a hole Bathroom was clean and staff were very friendly
- 1/5
Room had some sort of brown liquid sprayed on the door. Got bit in several spots after sleeping in the bed.
- 3/5
You get what you pay for. I would only guess the people I saw lurking around the property were tenants (not guests) at the motel. I was approached twice by a strange man by the pool, and when I sent my boyfriend to check the pool area once he was gone, he noticed the front gate was broken (so safety concerns). Walls need to be painted, lamp shades need to be replaced, floors needed to be mopped, the pool looked like it needed to be cleaned then and chlorine. Also it looked like the hot tub has been out of commission for several months now. I would look for something better if possible, especially if you have kids. I wouldn't bring them here. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful during the check in process.
- 1/5
Disgusting room and area
- 1/5
I recently stayed at this motel and had a very disappointing experience. The property is plagued with prostitutes and drug dealers, which made me feel unsafe during my entire stay. The noise levels were unbearable, with loud arguments, music, and street activity happening late into the night. The overall environment is unclean and unwelcoming, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe or comfortable stay. There are definitely better options elsewhere that offer a more secure and peaceful atmosphere. On the plus side, the staff members were great. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.
- 2/5
Flew in for a weekend trip where I would limited time in the room except to sleep and shower. Check in was fine and guy st the counter had a decent if not inappropriate conversation but friendly nonetheless. Everything was fine until the morning of checkout when I got a call to the room phone from the front desk at 9am (unsolicited/non-requested phone call waking me up asking if I was going to check out or stay/pay for another day. I told them I know check out is at 11am and would be checking out before then. Thirty minutes later there are knocks on the door and the housekeeper enters the room when the do not disturb sign is on the outside door handle. I had to grab a sheet as I was not clothed at the time and run to the door not to let her in. She asked if I was checking out and I told her I know check out is at 11am and the front desk just called. Completely inappropriate for the front desk to call and the housekeeper to barge in the room with the do not disturb sign. I clearly know check out is at 11am. Even as I checked out the lady at the front desk said thank goodness you checked out before 11am otherwise I wojdlbaube to k common your door. I repelled you all already called and entered my room anyways so it didn’t matter. Please respect guests time and privacy as we are aware of the check out time. Inappropriate for the calls and the barging in of the room invading my privacy. Do better next time.
- 5/5
Great affordable place to stay. No frills, but it’s clean, and the staff are lovely.
- 1/5
This is the worst hotel in the greater LA area. The rooms are filthy and dated. The sheets are dirty, uncomfortable beds. Shower pressure is so high it’ll take a layer of skin off. The area is very unsafe as well- I almost slept in my car because I was worried it’d get stolen. This place should be condemned. Worse than any Motel 6, which I didn’t think was possible. I arrived late so had to stay one night, but we went elsewhere for the rest of the trip.
- 5/5
Close to store
- 2/5
The person checking me in was charismatic and friendly. There’s a time and a place for everything and this motel is no different. I stayed here because my trip got extended on the front end and my room at my other hotel would have been over $500 for the additional two nights, so I figured I’d stay here those nights before going to my hotel. What a terrible idea. The room was disgusting, grimy dirt from years of abuse and inadequate cleaning. Graffiti on the mirror and etched into the bed. The first room they gave me didn’t even open. The wall was bubbling with water damage and the sheets had tiny specks all over that I had to make sure weren’t bed bugs. The room overlooked the jacuzzi which has caution tape around it. I ended up staying the night, as it was late, but first thing the following morning I went to my other hotel and checked in early, happily forking over the exorbitant charge there so that I didn’t have to stay at this Inn another moment. Didn’t even bother checking out and let them keep the 2nd night’s money just to be out of there, in the hopes that they will use it to buy some bleach. On the flip side, perfect motel to charge by the hour to certain clientele or for you to commit some sort of crime within its walls. I can’t even imagine the stories my room could tell if it could talk. Totally my fault for not researching harder but if you’re in a hurry like I was, make sure you research harder than I did and steer far clear of this place.
- 1/5
As soon as we arrive, the hotel was dirty, and we were approached by a lot of homeless people let alone the room. What’s disgusting dirty, not clean or sanitized. It was completely disgusting. One of the worst rooms I have ever even seen in my life. I do not recommend this place at all. I will be getting my money back. I was charged three times was the most disgusting gross property ever
- 4/5
alright for budget inn
- 1/5
Didn’t even want to lay down on the bed! It was very uncomfortable to even be there. The fire detector in my room had plastic over it and the whole room smelled really bad. I found a cockroach in the bathroom and there was vomit down the drain of the sink. Truely a terrible experience.
- 5/5
Close to the beach
- 3/5
Pls keep wash sheet. I got bug bites
- 3/5
The hotel appeared dated and poorly maintained, which impacted my comfort. The room was basic, providing only the bare necessities like soap, shampoo, and towels. The absence of amenities like lotion or other toiletries was a significant drawback. Additionally, the noise from the street was quite disruptive, making it difficult to rest. My biggest concern was the surrounding area. It did not feel particularly safe, which added to my unease during my stay. On a positive note, the staff truly made an effort to compensate for the hotel's shortcomings. They were courteous and responsive to my needs. In conclusion, while the staff's excellent service was a highlight, the hotel's outdated facilities, limited amenities, street noise, and location safety concerns make it difficult for me to recommend the Inn of Long Beach for business travelers. I hope management will consider addressing these issues to improve the guest experience."
- 2/5
Every door had evidence of being broken into. The curtain did not completely cover the window and part of the room could be looked right in to. The shower was room temperature water and the property was not secured and people were coming door to door selling things
- 4/5
Cheap and convenient location. Hot tub wasn’t working and AC didn’t work very well. Also they knocked on our door at 9am to ask if we’re staying but check out is 11. I don’t like being woken up when I paid for a room.
- 3/5
Floor was dirty, walls were dirty but bed was clean. Had an individual causing a disturbance in the early AM twice waking everyone up in the hotel grounds. Awful experience. Cleaning service was good.
- 1/5
the hotel is terrible conditions nothing like the pictures in the website
- 1/5
Extremely filthy, cigarette burns in bed and curtain. Fridge not working. Microwave and fridge covered in old food. Mattresses covered in stains. Old cigarettes and ash tray left in an open access port for plumbing. Front door did not open easily. Homeless living under stairs. Employees were nice.
- 1/5
I did not stay when I got there o was told they overbooked and had no room’s available
- 1/5
Location and free parking were good. Front desk service was very friendly. Our room smelled like cigarettes and Marijuana. The smoke detector was missing with wires exposed. The phone didn't work to access front desk.
- 1/5
Back door to patio was broken & wouldn't lock, needed to tie with a phone cord to keep shut, when reported to front desk the woman thanked me for fixing it. A couple was smoking a crack pipe on the steps leading to our room...enough said, don't stay even if they pay you to be there!
- 5/5
Man at the front desk was very nice! Location was amazing, Vons is literally across the street which was awesome!
- 3/5
Convince location
- 3/5
Staff is VERY Welcoming and accommodating, which makes up for the average quality of the rooms.
- 3/5
Look, I stayed five nights attending a convention, which meant I needed a place to crash at night and within walking distance of the convention center. This met my needs at a very reasonable price. The place is old and a bit run down. The room was cleaned daily. It’s a block or two away from redeveloped areadscloser to the waterfront. There are a good number of folks living on the streets but none were panhandling or aggressive. I wouldn’t make reservations there for my wife, but certainly would for me.
- 3/5
Quite run down and wish I read the reviews before about bedbugs, it was a nonsmoking room but the room smelled like smoke, quite disappointing, I will never stay here again, the price doesn't reflect the conditions
- 2/5
Room was not very well cleaned. Sand was all over the shower as well as the floors.
- 1/5
It was pretty dirty
- 1/5
I can honestly say that the only good thing about this property is the employees. The employees were great. But the facility and the people living at this place are disgusting. Drug addicts yelling at each other, homeless people trying to get in my room. Graffiti on the walls inside and outside of the rooms. Roaches everywhere! Dirty mattress and blankets. Left a day early.
- 2/5
It wasnt as bad last year when I stayed here
- 1/5
The bad .... instead of a fire alarm there was just exposed wires... a busted spring from the bed jabbed my leg when I got in, there were roaches everywhere, there were literal holes in the wall, that just had tissues shoved in them, the shower had a non stop leak. To top this all off, the property seems to allow aggressive homeless individuals to just stay in their back parking lot and harass their guests, i was solo so didnt really bother me, but steer clear if you are traveling with wife and kids. I have stayed all over, and by far this is the worst place i have ever seen, I almost recommend staying here just to see how bad it is.
- 3/5
All three nights, there were loud parties or fights in the rooms across. We didn't even think about getting in the pool. It is a great location, a Von's right across the street, but you definitely get what you pay for.
- 3/5
The property is old and dated and in dying need of repairs everywhere—cigarette butts around on staircase, and hallways. I became concerned at check-in, people hanging around the property looked sketchy, the lobby was not much better and the lady at the front desk -although efficient - could have presented the property better. Location; however, is on point. I really could not have asked for anything better...I guess. My rate was very affordable which I was happy about.
- 1/5
Decided to stay at the long beach inn passing through yesterday on a once in a life time road trip from the uk with my partner… worste decision of my life. first of all we pulled into the parking lot and I’ve got some guy smoking crack down the side of the building and it just looked in a state of dis repair. The room stinks of stale smoke and the walls were filthy ( unfortunately i couldn’t cancel the booking upon arrival ) after being kept up all night by banging shouting and people loitering directly outside the room. The best bit of all happened At 7:30am three members of the hotel staff 2 males and the same female ( Maria ) who checked me in without any warning or knocking ripped are door open and started shouting at us that we weren’t meant to be there and how did we get in the room ??? my girlfriend and I are both they in bed fully undressed half asleep thinking we’re about to get robbed they lady soon realised she had mad a massive mistake and couldn’t even look at me after, she couldn’t even apologies we packed are bags and left stright away … this cost me nearly £120 to be treated that way ? I can’t believe Expedia are even promoting an establishment such as this it needs closing down DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!!
- 1/5
I don't think of myself as a hotel snob and have stayed at non-brand hotels and loved it. This was not one of those times. The outside of the property was dirty and we were intructed to park behind the building which felt unsafe. We dropped our bags in the room and headed to a music festival we were in town to see. When we got back to the room we went to bed. From the light of my cell phone I saw something near my pillow. I jumped out of bed and turned on the lights to find bugs in and around my pillow! Needless to say we packed up our things, went to the front and got a refund, then found another hotel around 1:00am.
- 2/5
Came at 7 no one was in the office. after several attempts of phone calls and door bell we went to dinner and show. After show check in was not too bad. Outside all around smelled like urine, gates to keep out non guests (large amount of homeless) was broke. corridor dirty and floor was deteriorated to the point of almost failure, pool closed and green, inside dirty, towels used and dirty, no smoke detector, entry door did not open/close/ lock properly, graffiti on lamp shades with some type of stain, light bulbs missing, beds were hard and smelled, urine in toilet, etc. Air conditioner worked great as it was set to 62 when we came in.
- 3/5
Just needed a place to stay for a cruise I was taking
- 3/5
For an emergency, stay this placed as a spot. Everyone was super hospitable and they’re renovating it. Cheap and easy. It is also very close to a lot of places, but definitely know what you’re paying for
- 5/5
Amazing service. Always the best. I love going there
- 2/5
Staff was really good, the guy in the reception was really nice, I have no complaint about that. There was a tv, a mini fridge, microwave, lil closet area & ac all working just fine. However, as soon as I opened my hotel door I seen lil roaches crawling around, the bathroom door was broken around the door handle so it didn't lock also seen roaches crawling around in there & it didn't look as clean as some of the pictures posted online without kids I don't think it would be as big of a deal but we had kids & didn't even feel comfortable with them playing on the floor. I thought the price was affordable but because of those details I don't think it was worth the price we paid for I would say a stay like the one we had here would be worth $50 not over $100...unfortunately it was too late for me to cancel the reservation & me and my family really needed a place to stay ASAP & it's what we were able to find/afford last minute.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and the service is great
- 1/5
Didn't like it at all. Stains and smelled of urin.
- 5/5
David was great super friendly and room was good too thank you
- 1/5
- 4/5
We stay here to cruise out of Long Beach on Carnival. Port is a short Uber ride and if you spend one night you can park free for a seven day cruise.
- 4/5
Fron desk attendance was amazing, friendlyand helpful. The location was fine for where we neeeded to be. The room however was pretty dirty, lamp shade stained, trash left in the room, and a musty smell.
- 1/5
The place feels unsafe to stay
- 2/5
Someone knocked on our door calling for someone insistently. I did not get a good night's rest. I couldn't close the bathroom window to make it quieter.
- 5/5
Very clean. No bother from anyone ! Such a nice stay !
- 4/5
I was happy
- 2/5
corridorrs smell of urine. good location to restruants, but many homeless or worse everywhere.
- 2/5
The walkways are dirty, the gate doesn’t lock if you are in the inside and the pool looks dirty where you don’t want to go swim.
- 5/5
The woman that checked us in was very helpful
- 4/5
Stay was great. Pool was a bit questionable....green and cloudy, we did not chance it
- 1/5
There bed bugs and cockroaches infested in the property
- 4/5
If you just need a place to sleep and not really be in the hotel then this hotel will do. Condition of hotel is bad but location and price is the best around. Ac is cold, shower works well bed is fine but floors, walls, holes in doors and ceiling is not good

The property was what I had expected for the price, except for the bed bugs! Luckily the management handled appropriately and refunded our room. There was an exorbitant amount of hot glue for some reason.

The room was not clean, the sheets had hair all over them, the pillows were clearly used, there was bodily fluid on the chair. The front and back door had light coming through because it wasn’t weathered at all which also let bugs in. The area is very unsafe, several homeless people were bothering us on the property. At 2am some people were banging on our door to come outside, they seemed like they wanted a fight based off what they were shouting. They remained there for just over an our reving their engine and shouting. I had to call the office to have them removed, the office talked to them, but they still stayed. This experience has ruined me for local inns and stays

Totally enjoyed my stay!! Would stay again!!

Staff is friendly, but the site needs major renovations for me to want to come back. Doors not aligned to open and close properly. Light bulbs not changed in room. Bed bugs in multiple rooms, and other bugs found in the bathroom. Refrigerator has the strong chemical odor from not being used. Afraid to check additional ammenities at this point. Ruined experience for the rest of the town.

Once inside the rooms they are just ok. Conveniently located a 5 min walk to Marina, It has a Vons in front of the hotel. The staff was friendly. I will try not to stay at this hotel. I was there for the Long Beach Grand Prix and the cost per night for this hotel was way overpriced.

Ok place to crash for one night

This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in! All night people were knocking on our door and pulling the handle looking for others. The whole room was absolutely filthy and cigarette burns everywhere.

The service was excellent. I’m not going to lie, when I saw it from the outside I was disappointed but the inside is really clean, it was quiet, there are stores near by, you can walk to the beach and many other places. I do recommend it a lot!

Convenient location, inexpensive. However, the property needed a little tender loving care. Traffic cones in front of the office door didn't create a particularly welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent Long Beach bus very close by as are good restuarants like Sushi Mafia. Vons is across the street, so you can take advantage of the microwave and refrigerator. Everything is close and convienient. David behind the desk is very helpful. Great place!

At one time this may have been a nice motel but no longer! Run-down and obviously catering to a unpleasant clientele - we had people next door partying all night! We had booked multiple nights but moved out after 2.

Don’t stay here! 0 star roach motel

My room had very appealing color scheme. And I enjoyed the terrace overlooking the pool and beyond the Downtown Long Beach skyline.

The staff was great. Shopping across the street and many restaurants near (within 10 minutes of walking). Other guests staying were very loud and yelling. There were cockroaches but no bed bugs and my TV didn't work. On our walk to dinner a homeless man was urinating in the street and no one seemed care. There was human feces on the streets, but apparently this is normal behavior in southern California.

Yes the place is old and that was expected. But what isn’t expected is the dirtiness of the room. If the sheets didn’t smell like bleach not sure I’d have felt comfortable to sleep in the bed. But it met our needs only to sleep.
