Exceptional

This was a great hotel. Gorgeous rooms, very quiet. Perfect location to the convention center and restaurants in Long Beach. The staff was friendly. Especially the young gal at the front desk. We would definitely stay again!

Stayed 3 nights. They are currently remodeling which kind of sucked since they placed me right next to all the construction noise. It did start around 10:00am and went to around 6pm but there was no napping because of all the noise. Sounded like they were bowling in the hallways. Shower door would not stay closed so the bathroom floor got soaked the first shower we took, after that I shoved a wash cloth in between panels so it would stay shut. Front desk gal when I checked in was super nice. I just wish I was warned about the construction. Would stay again after done remodeling.

A simple hotel with just what you need. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and there’s so much nearby within walking distance.

The view was horrible

The only thing wrong was the TV channels and the TV remote. You could not enter numbers to get to a channel. They were oddly named, like 12-4 or 43-6, and you could not tell what channel you arrived at by flipping.

For the most part, the room was clean, but the bathroom shower door did not stay shut, and there were roach or ant traps underneath the sink which suggests they may be present; although, we didn’t see any. Also, the elevator was extremely slow and sometimes didn’t come, which made walking downstairs with children and luggage a little difficult.

Room was clean except that it was noticeable that restroom wasn't clean that I had to clean the toilet with wipes.

Loved our stay and would book here again! Offered fresh hot breakfast as-well as cereal,yogurt and pastries coffee station and juice options, clean big bathrooms, pool was nice and clean. Rooms were clean double beds are full size instead of the usual queens but were comfortable tv didn’t offer many options but found some that worked .

Our last experience was even better than before.

Overall it was a great location. Not very many places to eat around lunch time. But I would like to mention is the quality of the food. Less options, but better quality. The batter for the waffles was really messy, not enough toasters, too many people in a small room. The coffee was delicious and great! I'll def stay here again. Thank you

Great stay All around

Room was nice. Air conditioner was actually pretty quiet. The bed was good and the sheets soft. The shower was awesome. The toilet seat was loose and the top hinge of the cupboard with the refrigerator was "broke", it needed some more screws put in to hold it. The bathroom door frame needs a good cleaning. I was going to do it, but why should I??? The breakfast is okay, need scrambled eggs instead of those heat and serve folded cheese omelet things, they were a bit "burnt", too... The $25 a night parking fee is almost not worth it, especially being handicap and on a budget. I did take some pictures of the room. I will be posting them on Google Reviews. Always do :)

Everything was great

We checked in early and received a room right away. Crystal was very outgoing and friendly. I really liked the bright bathroom lights. It was also very nice to see a magnifying mirror. The free breakfast was satisfactory. Typical sit up with cereal, oatmeal, yogurt (from a machine), waffles, toast, etc. It's convenient to have a free breakfast. Long beach is walkable. The Vons supermarket was just a short block away. Very easy to get to and pick up things before our cruise. Crystal gave us some advice about seeing the sights which we appreciated. Overall nice place to stay.

Bathroom was showing age, old showerhead and door wouldn't stay open.

I was pleasantly surprised. Comfy beds and very clean. Breakfast was very good for what it was.

Loved being able to sit on the balcony and relax.

Stay was decent. It didnt help that i could hear all the traffic off of the street, but the window had no way to cover the light that would come into the room. Having blind covers "for decoration" make no sense.

This place was great! Our room nice and clean and was very big. We had a balcony with a view. The staff was friendly. There are many restaurants and shops close by. We walked to and ate dinner at an outdoor restaurant. It was all wonderful!

Gym was terrible. The worst hotel gym I have come across. Not worth having the swimming pool more like a paddling pool.

Dry clean and quiet room. Parking was weird, hard to find entrance then had to go under the building and it looked sketchy. Lots of nightlife nearby.

Really enjoyed my time here. Was in town for a convention so the location was perfect & a quick walk to the convention center. Staff was incredibly friendly including Cristal at the front desk. Room was comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning was incredible. Will gladly stay here again next time I'm in town.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach, and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants, shopping and lively bars. Whether I wanted a quiet morning by the ocean or a fun night out, everything was right at my fingertips. I'd stay here again.

The things I cared most about when booking this property are location, cleanliness, and comfort level at a reasonable price (relative to other hotels in the area). The BW delivered on each of those expectations. I travel to Long Beach a few times a year and have stayed at numerous properties. This is one of the better ones at this price point.

Cristal was fantastic in helping me in any way she could. I arrived early and she did everything possible to get me into my room early.

All was super, i like this hotel, I will recommend it!!!

It was cool having a nice room with a balcony to watch the sun set and sunrise on with a cup of coffee. I thought the location was perfect and central to everything . We literally walked everywhere from the hotel. The room was small but nice and comfortable.

Stay was great, staff was accommodating to all my glitches along the way. The incidentals deposit was really high $200 per night, and took a while to return back on my card. They need to go to $100 like other major hotels.

Needed a spot to lay our head for a night great staff that held our luggage while we went out to Catalina for the day. Breakfast bar was fully stocked, which was exactly what we needed next morning before getting back on the road.

They sent up the maintenance man and he was there for 1 minute and said that everything was ok. Was very annoying trying to shower and brush your teeth in the sink

A nicely mauntained chain brand hotel. Also includes a nice hot breakfast daily. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and even a chain grocery store. Rooms are well maintained and updated.

Conveniently located to convention center

This hotel was in the Circuit Zone so we were able to get free rides to local bars and restaurants from 4-10 pm each night via the Circuit App. The hotel was rundown and not great, but there were no bedbugs so that was a plus! This hotel is good for a one night stay to crash in - would not recommend for stays longer than a night or two.

Close to the action but not too close!

Another minus star is for not having a heated pool. It was ice cold! Like a cold plunge. Every pool I have stayed at is the LA area has been heated. Not happy.

Great hotel right in the middle of everything

Breakfast was an issue. Coffee was horrendous, no coffee pots just a machine that made many types of different "fancy" coffee drinks and took forever, but made terrible plain black coffee. Not only did the machine take forever and could only serve one person at a time, but people could not figure out how to use it. No coffee available any other place or time except at breakfast. Sugar filled flavored Yogurt dispensed from a machine which ran out two of the four days we were there. Same food every day except for Tuesday and Thursday when they served biscuits and gravy instead of oatmeal. Apparently there is only one crock pot so they had to alternate. The breakfast room only had about 20 seats and was attached to the gym and the pool so sweaty, wet people parade thru the breakfast area past those who were waiting on line for coffee and yogurt or sitting/standing trying to eat. The breakfast worker used the same rag to clean the tables and serving area and then picked up the milk dispensing thermos by the spout using that same filthy rag. There was only sugar yogurt and whole milk, no fat free, low fat or sugar free selections and no fruit except for tiny red delicious apples and a few small oranges daily. The same 3 sugar cereals served daily as well, nothing healthy. Scrambled eggs and sausage or biscuits and gravy, mini muffins, hostess apple pies and bagels or bread. When the only healthy choice is oatmeal why replace it with hot gravy for biscuits? That's not acceptable.

We walked from the hotel to the beach area - it was a nice walk and took about 30 minutes (walking with kids). The breakfast was good but the dining room was super tiny so it felt very cramped - some of our family we sat in the lobby instead and that was certainly a better option. The pool was really really small and freezing cold (it must not be heated), it didn’t appear very clean, our kids lasted about 5 minutes so that was disappointing considering we book that hotel over another one based on the pool. There is no hot tub. We ate at supper the restaurant across the street - it was really tasty. Overall it met our needs but was nothing amazing.
