great am continental breakfast with awesome coffee machine and fresh pastries. lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the amazing am weather that Westwood offers Walkable to so many great restaurants and to UCLA campus as well And their valet service is fantastic!
- 5/5
I only stayed one night for an un expected layover, but I thought the hotel was just fine. It suited my needs perfectly and was clean with helpful staff. The only problem I had was parking, as I received a parking ticket out front. But Im sure it was my fault as they offer valet parking.
- 5/5
We always enjoy our stay at the Palihotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. The beds are so comfortable and it is always such a tranquil setting. Can’t wait to stay there again.
- 4/5
This place has lovely style and we always enjoy the small outdoor sitting area with the fountain. Location for UCLA is excellent. The room wasn’t ready until 7pm on the day we arrived but they gave us a discount which was nice.
- 5/5
We have stayed here twice. It is super cute and clean. The decor is great. It is cool and also inviting. Some hotels are trying so hard to be cool that they feel off-putting but this was great.
- 5/5
We loved everything about this hotel. Lovely communicative people, great style and boutique vibe, and complimentary breakfast. The location is perfect for any kind of UCLA event.
- 5/5
Great stay, good location, nice staff, quiet room and great bed.
- 5/5
Very convienent location for our mini vacation. We loved how quiet the room was and how comfy the bed is.
- 4/5
Great hotel
- 3/5
Room was clean and now nice appearance. Check in not good was finally called room was ready at 5:49pm. Unacceptable
- 5/5
Lovely stay at the Palihotel Westwood. The most comfortable bed I’ve had in a hotel, great shower, loved the curated breakfast items and 24-7 coffee. Excellent location. Would definitely come back!
- 4/5
This property was well maintained, quaint and quiet! Appreciated the architecture! The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing missing was any type of ring towel holder by the sink; each time washing hands had to go back into bathroom to dry your hands.
- 4/5
Pretty little hotel - very thin walls and ceilings.
- 5/5
Will be back 100%. Small nice space. Better then shown
- 5/5
King Bed a bit soft
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Conveniently to the UCLA campus. Also, close to shopping and dining opportunities.
- 5/5
We spent two nights here. The front desk and valet staff were absolutely wonderful and so accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was simple but delicious and fresh. On top of that, the room and the overall hotel were incredibly clean and cozy. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Nice cute hotel! Right next to UCLA. Clean. Staffs very helpful!
- 3/5
The hotel was charming, but it was very noisy. We could hear all the other guests and doors started slamming at 6am. The staff were nice and helpful.
- 3/5
Retro design was interesting. But no elevator and no desk or table in room.
- 5/5
I had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The staff were consistently warm, professional, and genuinely focused on making my visit comfortable and stress‑free. The room was spotless, quiet, and well designed, with comfortable bedding and thoughtful amenities. Service was outstanding from check‑in to check‑out—every request was handled quickly and with a smile. The location was convenient, the common areas were clean and inviting, and the on‑site food and drink were excellent. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will absolutely stay here again.
- 2.5/5
Extremely loud. In fact, loudest hotel ever and I travel a lot
- 3/5
The AC was also blowing straight to the headboard, which makes it hard to keep it on while sleeping without catching cold or you have to suffer from heat. The carpet and upholstery were too dirty-looking. All in all, I won’t go there again.
- 4/5
Clean hotel, great location to Stein Eye Institute. Small rooms, a bit noisy with people walking upstairs. Easy walk to great Persian restaurant.
- 5/5
Veeery nice assortment of teas. It was continental. Enjoyed a croissant and fruit as well. The setup was very attractive. Wonderful jams. Very minimal. Only request, if possible, is an additional toaster. I didn’t plan well and was rushing. Took a sec to gain access to the toaster.
- 5/5
Great walkable location with comfortable rooms.
- 5/5
It was a very cute boutique hotel walking distance to UCLA.
- 4.5/5
Did not like all the local taxes.
- 5/5
We love staying here. It is walkable to so many restaurants and shops and the employees are so friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Everything was great. The only problem is the room is not very soundproof. Got woken up by the noise of walking and talking. But everything else was great.
- 5/5
I’ve been a serial guest at Palihotel in Westwood and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. I love the staff, the property, the location, I highly recommend!
- 5/5
I loved the breakfast-all good quality items. The only thing that I thought was strange was there was no place to lay your luggage on-not a bench.
- 5/5
Cute hotel with lovely amenities.
- 5/5
Loved this quaint boutique hotel!! Definitely recommend!
- 5/5
The staff went above and beyond! They upgraded my son so that we could check in early when we arrived at the hotel around 2 pm. This was greatly appreciated as we had driven from San Diego and it meant a lot to us. We were able to get into a room and refresh before heading out to explore the city. Every detail about this hotel is perfection! We were touring UCLA the next day and the hotel is less than 5 minutes away. Having a delicious complementary breakfast in the morning made things so easy, I highly recommend this hotel!
- 4/5
Nice hote, helpfull frontdesk, near by restaurants and shopping. A hotel I will stay in again.
- 5/5
Fab hotel tucked away on a quiet street in Westwood. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and lovely amenities.
- 5/5
Wonderful place, clean tidy, friendly staff, good breakfast - LOVE IT! Possible the pillows - had a slightly sore neck.
- 5/5
Pretty room and friendly staff!
- 5/5
We had a great stay! The hotel was in a great location, the rooms/hotel had a boutique style and were nicely decorated. Would recommend!!
- 5/5
Lovely stay in the neighborhood of ucla
- 4.5/5
Not much given I did not expect the rooms to be so small - no desk or work space
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Unique. Staff were great; very polite, friendly, and helpful with all requests. Loved staying here.
- 2/5
The room was tiny. No side table next to my side of the bed. Very weak lighting in the mirror area, over the sink. No Kleenex in room, couch, small and very old looking and very uncomfortable, refridg in room tiny, continental breakfast meager, no decaf coffee. Over priced. $45.00 a day for parking. Our room was near the lobby and noisy. I could hear the people walking upstairs. No ironing board or iron in room. At one point I said to my husband if they don't have a hair dryer I'm leaving. They did have a hair dryer.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 4/5
Terrific stay but The included breakfast has no GF, DF options for milk yogurt or bread
- 5/5
Excellent boutique property. Be aware that since this is a small hotel, there is no dedicated parking lot, but we were able to find overnight street parking nearby. Rooms are on the smaller side, which is again to be expected for a boutique. Friendly service, convenient, comfortable. We would be happy to go back.
- 5/5
This is a lovely little hotel. Great price and location. I've stayed a few times and really enjoy it.
- 3.5/5
Location was close to many restaurants, shopping and UCLA. The rooms were very nice and clean and spacious. The staff very friendly. The have drinking water in the lobby. Lack of elevator, the breakfast options were limited, and they ran out of some items during the breakfast hour, so depending on when you show up for breakfast you may get different items. The breakfast area was also packed later in the the day and some guests were done with breakfast but were just lounging there.
- 3.5/5
No parking available aside from $45 valet parking daily for the hotel.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Really nice hotel, very well kept and super quiet. Rooms very nice and bed is excellent.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
I like the location, friendly staff, and the overall ambience.
- 5/5
Adorable property, cute and fairly quiet neighborhood. Extremely walkable for coffee, shopping and dining. No elevator, fine with a carryon but just a little warning for the heavy packers. Wish there was a pool but the garden area is sweet. Street parking is metered and limited.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful boutique hotel, conveniently located in walkable Westwood Village. The staff, especially Oscar and Vanessa, were cheerful and helpful. Our room was quite small, but the hotel compensated with its lovely side garden and lobby. There’s a reasonably priced parking garage around the corner. We’d definitely return, though probably asking for a larger room.
- 5/5
I love this hotel. My daughter goes to UCLA and my son goes to LMU. I love staying here. I love the rooms and the garden and the staff is awesome. The only suggestion I have is more towel hooks in shower room but otherwise it is a great place!!
- 5/5
Great stay as always. Clean rooms, nice light breakfast in a great location
- 4/5
This was a lovely property with small but very clean rooms. The staff was incredible. That said, I honestly would prefer a larger room with more basic amenities rather than a smaller room with fine furnishings for the same price. That seems better to me.
- 5/5
My only recommendation would be the cleaning service. Rooms are cleaned very late in the afternoon and small details were missed. Soap and shampoo dispensers were empty and not refilled; toilet paper and Kleenex were empty and not refilled. Small details on the cleanliness of the rooms were missed and if those could be addressed, the hotel would be a 10 for me.
- 5/5
I always stay here when I come to LA. It's clean, charming, and convenient! Great style! Comfortable beds! Great location and helpful staff!
- 4/5
Great location, well maintained property. Our room was small but serviceable. Complementary breakfast had limited choices. There is no elevator to get to room on second or third floor.
- 5/5
clean

- 4/5
The biggest challenge is the noise. The walls seem quite thin, and you can clearly hear "activity" from neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to relax or get consistent sleep. You can expect to hear the floor boards squeaking with every step, people speaking and even water running. For a property positioned as a boutique luxury stay, that was a surprising downside unfortunately. Another unexpected letdown was the valet parking. Here again the Valet's were fantastic, but we weren't aware that our car would be left outside in the street overnight and not undercover, leaving it very dirty. That said, there are many things the hotel does extremely well! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Westwood and an easy walk to UCLA, with plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. The area also felt very safe and pleasant to walk around, even in the evening. Another highlight was the staff, who were truly outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Easily some of the best service we’ve experienced in the Beverly Hills area. Overall, Palihotel is great if you value location and service, but travelers expecting a quiet, luxury hotel experience may find the noise levels and room feel a bit closer to upscale student housing than a traditional boutique hotel.
- 5/5
Old property revitalized with a sophisticated but relaxed boutique vibe. Very nice appointments and lovely amenities.
- 5/5
Great esthetic, thoughtful and responsive staff. Handwritten welcome note and amenities thoughtfully placed in our rooms at check in. Very responsive to special requests. Front desk Andrew went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 4.5/5
lovely hotel and great staff
- 5/5
Property is centrally located and lends a nice homey feeling. Staff are awesome!
- 5/5
It’s a quaint little spot. A great overnight spot very welcoming very cozy.
- 5/5
This is a great small hotel, and this is not my first stay. This time I had to bring the family with me, while I usually travel to LA for work alone. The staff was courteous and nice even with kids around (they behaved well, but they are still 4 and 2), so a big thanks to them. The rooms are nice, with a lot of light and quiet at night. The hotel is at walking distance for many nice spots and restaurants. I recommend it. Only minor thing (if that matters to you) there is no elevator.
- 4.5/5
The walls are very thin so you can hear people in the other rooms. You can hear toilets flushing and people talking. If it’s possible to add insulation it would make a huge difference.
- 5/5
Great location and service
- 5/5
Great atmosphere, excellent service.
- 5/5
The rooms are snug but very well laid out. They managed to feel contemporary and "classical Hollywood" at the same time. The continental breakfast was great, a mix of pastries/bagels, fresh fruit and yogurt. The lobby has a modest footprint but is also very well laid out; there is also a small courtyard that felt like an absolute hidden gem. Great experience delivery overall.
- 4.5/5
A large, comfortable room with a good king bed. The location is in Westwood within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and UCLA. The parking cost ($45 valet) should be made more visible - it is not on the booking websites and was not known until after I booked. I understand the reason for the cost (although it is a relatively high cost, even in LA), my complaint is that it is not disclosed before booking. Recommendation: the croissant they provide for breakfast (very nice) would be much improved if there was a toaster oven available to warm them.
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Nice light breakfast.
- 5/5
We enjoyed it!
- 4/5
Lovely room. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the location was great. Would def stay again!
- 5/5
nice room; friendly staff
- 5/5
nice accessories and clean room.
- 5/5
Great place and staff
- 5/5
Boutique-designed themes and a reflection of retro elements in the bedroom. Highly impressed by the admiringly friendly warm staff. None. A note: The property does not have elevators and stairs must be used for higher floors.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 2/5
Additionally, they didn't provide any coffee/tea/water in the room. And the continental breakfast that I've experienced in their other properties was comprised of horribly stale croissants and Yoplait yogurt. I am so disappointed and can't believe how much I was charged for what felt like a motel.
- 3/5
Proximity to UCLA Medical Center I've stayed at three other Palihotels. I'm shocked this is under the same brand. I paid extra for a garden room and there was no garden. The hotel overlooks a busy street. And I was charged a resort fee and parking, which entailed them moving my car to a meter right in front of the hotel. Something I could've done myself but they charged me $45/day. Additionally, they didn't provide any coffee/tea/water in the room. And the continental breakfast that I've experienced in their other properties was comprised of horribly stale croissants and Yoplait yogurt. I am so disappointed and can't believe how much I was charged for what felt like a motel.
- 3.5/5
Hotel was in a good neighborhood, close to UCLA, lots of young people around, pretty safe. We parked the car on the street for two nights and it was fine (and free; just need to be lucky and check once in a while for parking patrol). Bed was comfortable, ultra plush. So if you like firm bed, you won’t like it. Bathroom water pressure was good! Breakfast was adequate. All you need was there: pastry, fruits, yogurt, coffee, tea. Beverages were available 24/7, which was really nice. There was a garden on the side. Staff was friendly and professional. Check in and check out were smooth. No drama. Umbrella was there to borrow for sun or rain. Bathroom was too small. You can hear the creaking and noise from upstairs and next doors. It’s an old building. So if you’re noise sensitive, it’ll drive you crazy. Found some hair on the decorative pillow. Yikes but understood how it’s there. Other than that, it’s pretty clean. Price was pretty steep. But maybe that’s LA.
- 4.5/5
Location and service attitude
- 4/5
Room good and clean, no elevator missed that. Nice clean area, walking distance to shops and restaurant. Quick drive to Beverly Hills. Would have loved if they had like a little bar or something so you could enjoy a glass of wine in the little outdoor area.
- 5/5
Gorgeous, comfortable, fun and thoughtful.
- 5/5
Great location with a friendly staff! Very quaint and clean boutique hotel
- 5/5
Everything is amazing as always
- 5/5
Staff was exceptional! Room super comfy. A little bit noisy at night and maybe a few protein items for breakfast.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with a good location and very friendly staff
- 5/5
So cute and convenient. Very clean and classy. Very helpful staff. I liked it Al
- 4.5/5
The hotel is very nice appointed with its furnishings, both in the rooms and in the lobby. Breakfast is a step up from the "normal" continental breakfast. For doing business in Westwood, I love that I can walk everywhere and don't need a car. I did not like the sweet taste in the latte that came from the machine.
- 5/5
Very safe and clean
- 5/5
Lovely hidden gem in the heart of Westwood Village.
- 5/5
I love the beautiful room. The lobby is cosy, warm, and sophisticated. When we had breakfast, we feel like home. The pastry is good. The staff are very hepful and friendly. The valet parking is very convenient. The area is safe, lots of restaurants, shops, in the walking distance.
- 5/5
Vanessa went above and beyond to help us with an early check in. She made us feel so welcome. Hotel was clean, felt very safe
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here twice in the past room. The room, the lobby, the courtyard - everything about this hotel was thoughtfully designed. It’s like 1930s Hollywood vibes. The staff are friendly, there is a lovely little breakfast spread every morning, and it’s in a very walkable area. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Very sweet staff and room spotless
- 5/5
The breakfast was excellent, nothing to get full but enough to start your day. The vintage hotel look was out of this world. Definitely recommend it.
- 4/5
Staff was very welcoming, made allowances as our flight had us arrive earlier than expected..and again as our departure flight was late in the day as well. Cute boutique type hotel with an interesting history.
- 4/5
Great design, very clean
- 5/5
The neighborhood was quiet and safe.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the general vibe of the hotel and its location, including sitting outside the hotel in the front chairs in the morning. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly.
- 3/5
The smell in the hotel isn’t nice.
- 5/5
Clean room and good neighborhood
- 5/5
Room was sparkling and staff was great
- 3/5
Breakfast very limited - and you have to clean up after yourself. Which would be totally fine if the the hotel was cheaper
- 5/5
Charming hotel in a great location. Room was very clean and staff was great
- 5/5
Hurray for the Palihotel Westwood Village! Perfectly located for our visits to schools and museums, wonderful kind efficient staff, and our dog was most welcomed and given a dog bed that she settled right into. Their systems went down one night and they were flexible and accommodating with those hassles. PLUS, thank you Vanessa for superb checkout service, especially solving my scheduling snafu! Highly recommended, will visit again when we're next in town.
- 2/5
For the price we payed, the hotel was mediocre. The rooms are smelly including the hall way.
- 5/5
Great location. Walk to target, restaurants and UCLA law school as well as UCLA undergrad. I do wish the parking were free and I do not like the super bright temperature reading on the air conditioner in the rooms. It keeps you awake at night. I’ve stayed here three or four times and that’s my only complaint. Also, it’s very hard to turn the air conditioning higher. Although that might just be me. The front desk staff is always nice and welcoming and personable. Vanessa was there this morning and was super helpful and friendly.
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
Room is very clean and comfy. Location is quiet and convenient. Yogurt in the morning is pretty nice! :)
- 5/5
The staff was amazing.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel and very friendly staff! Our go to place to visit our child attending UCLA.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, clean, art deco rooms with very comfortable beds. 24 hour coffee machine with great choice of delicious beverages (except decaf)
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, room comfortable and clean. Location is perfect for a west LA/Century City vist
- 5/5
A very cozy hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. A wonderful throwback to a easier, friendlier time.
- 5/5
Only issue was the fabric headboard--no way to really clean that, which is no hygiene.
- 5/5
This property is so lovely and quaint. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are spacious.
- 5/5
The FRONT DESK staff are WONDERFUL! Very professional and helpful!
- 5/5
Love this hotel’s location, quaint charm and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Small cute boutique hotel in a perfect location. This was the second time i stayed there. Staff are friendly, rooms are decorated nicely. There are no elevators.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Always a lovely stay at the Palihotel, Westwood Village. Comfortable and quiet rooms, friendly staff and great location. It's become my favorite place to staying when visiting LA.
- 5/5
Great little boutique hotel. Reminds me of a Wes Anderson movie. Clean quaint rooms. I only had the tea for breakfast but the tea was good quality. Service was friendly and welcoming. 10/10. Would stay again. Oh, and the neighborhood is quiet, safe and walkable with good restaurants nearby.
- 5/5
Place was outstanding...
- 5/5
Wish the room had a small desk to work at. Love the little courtyard. Room was very comfortable. Lobby was great social space.
- 4/5
This is a really charming hotel with some old world character, but recently updated with newer amenities. The breakfast starts the day off right. The bed is comfy and the room was quiet. The hotel staff are very kind and accommodating.
- 3/5
I thought it was odd that there wasn't a sink in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Stylish and comfy room. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Room was very stylish and comfortable although a bit small. Bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the all day coffee and continental breakfast. Staff were so friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Good area
- 5/5
Lovely staff. So sweet and kind. Great area!
- 4/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Great boutique hotel, rooms are nice and area is quiet. Room storage is limited, not a place for more than a couple of nightd. Staff was great and attentive, plenty of dining options in the neighborhood.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful. Vanessa took great care of us and we enjoyed our stay at Palihotel immensely!
- 5/5
My friends and I truly enjoyed the area due to the proximity to nice restaurants, brand stores, and clubs.
- 5/5
Large room, friendly staff, walkable to dining, valet parking
- 5/5
A but of noise from not the best sound proofing but manageable. Well located with pleasant restaurants and coffee shops all walking distance. Staff also friendly.
- 4/5
Nice boutique style property. Well maintained with friendly staff.
- 4/5
The property itself was very nice, very European feeling, well decorated, comfortable, very clean. The breakfast provided was fine, not great but good. They always had 2 pastry choices and a yogurt with fruit. I would have preferred fresh coffee instead of from a pre-mixed machine. I would stay again because of the location, cleanliness and the staff attention to guests.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, beautiful, clean property, comfortable bed, nice area to walk with lots of restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Nice neighborhood and easy access to restaurants
- 5/5
It was our first time staying at the property and they met our expectations. We will definitely consider staying at Palihotel on our next visit to Los Angeles.

From the moment I arrived, the kindness and accommodation of the staff truly stood out. I was traveling with my family and two small children, arriving late at night, and Ito went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She reached out ahead of time, guided me to the hotel when it was late, and immediately put my mind at ease—I felt safe and welcomed right away. Check-in was smooth and efficient, which I especially appreciated so I could get my little ones settled into bed quickly. The hotel itself was charming, with stylish touches throughout—I especially loved the carpet and the chic vibe of the room. And the sleep… absolutely amazing! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows were so perfect I now want the same ones for my home. My whole family slept so well. This was such a wonderful stay, and if we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be returning. Thank you so much!
- 5/5
Great service! Valet especially!
- 4/5
Everything was beautiful: the hotel, the room, and the garden! The amenities were perfect (it's hard to beat 24/7 access to good coffee). The only complaint that I have, is that at 6:30 AM there was this incredibly loud noise, it sounded like someone was vacuuming in our room and it made the floor vibrate. It went on for about 5 or so minutes but it woke us up.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
They serve continental breakfast while coffee and tea are free all day. The tea selection was very good. Coffee machine makes espresso drinks and hot chocolate, which my college-bound daughter loved. Lobby transforms to breakfast area and shared workspace beautifully. The garden seating is an oasis. Staff was exceptional- thank you for taking care of us. I’ll be back for sure when I return to Westwood!
- 5/5
I love the themed decor - beautifully designed
- 5/5
Great location. Loved the breakfast included.
- 5/5
Charming little hotel in Westwood area. Would stay again!
- 5/5
Location is phenomenal. Great coffee and food nearby. There aren’t many late night options in the neighborhood so plan ahead.
- 5/5
Close t UCLA
- 5/5
Quiet beautiful hotel close to UCLA
- 5/5
Not as expected
- 5/5
Lovely staff. Nice room. Convenient
- 5/5
This boutique hotel is a favorite. We’ve stayed here multiple times when visiting our daughter. Staff is exceptional and the hotel is immaculate. Highly recommend it!
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and cosy rooms. Beautiful boutique hotel. Variety of coffee and tea along with water is avaliable all day long for free in the lobby. Breakfast lacks eggs, sliced bread, and juices.
- 5/5
Lovely boutique hotel with great staff and easy walkable access to the UCLA campus
- 5/5
Very charming hotel! We loved it. Loved the patio for our morning coffee. Loved that they had water and coffee 24/7. Great staff too.
- 4/5
Nice , front desk wasn’t friendly.
- 5/5
Enjoyed continental breakfast
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay at the Palihotel Westwood very much. Cute neighborhood with lots of restaurants and things in walking distance. Staff was lovely. Rooms are small, but cute and nice.
- 5/5
Outstanding check in guy. Love this hotel. It’s in a great area. Walkable to UCLA law school, lots of restaurants and coffee shops, is clean and very modern. Very LA. It’s in the middle of Westwood. 20 min walk to UCLA law, 5-10 min walk to dining and coffee. 15 min walk to Weyburn apts.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Clean, breakfast included, customer service was excellent
- 5/5
It is a charming place - clearly an older place that has been beautifully renovated - I would stay here again .
- 4/5
Great location, very clean, and friendly staff. I only wish they had an elevator; otherwise, it's a perfect place.
- 5/5
Wonderful central location to UCLA and the business district of Westwood. I really enjoy the Palihotel brand and plan to stay on their properties whenever possible.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
- No lift - Breakfast is very basic
- 4/5
Quiet
- 4/5
The hotel is really quaint, and is a great stay, if only for the staff. The beds were comfortable, there is a large flat screen TV in the room, and the garden is peaceful. Our stay got extended so we had 3 rooms. I found out that they charge pets at 100 per pet per visit, so if your dog is a service animal, make sure you have papers stating that. Also, the first room we were in was a double queen overlooking the garden. The children above us seemed to think it was a playground that stayed open past dark. The second room we were in was a 180 sq foot king, but there wasn't much room to move, so maybe that was why it was quieter. The third room.... It seemed like a sumo wrestler was above us, stomping everywhere. The showers were nice, though. Waterfall walk-ins.
- 5/5
So cute! Friendly!
- 5/5
Nice cool little hotel
- 5/5
The only parking options were strett or valet - which were also on the street but monitored by the valet staff. Would happily stay there again.
- 5/5
Great decor comfortable room street parking possible. Light complimentary pastries and yogurt. Would stay again.

Very nice hotel with a B&B feel, conveniently located. Breakfast was not great though.
- 4/5
The breakfast offering was nice in the mornings along with the coffee / tea / water which was available throughout the day. Only area for improvement would be the size of the rooms. Our room was very small for 2 people which was slightly disappointing. It’s a boutique hotel with a small number of rooms so I am not sure there are many rooms that would be that much larger, but that’s something we would explore if we stayed again.

They don’t have an elevator. My wife just had back surgery.

Front staff were excellent, shower had hot water and great water pressure/shower head, and bed was super comfy.

Great customer service

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms in the heart of Westwood. Only suggestion - upgrade pillows too flat
- 4/5
The staff here are friendly and responsive. The sore point of West Beverly hills is parking - not specific to this property but parking charges here are very high (higher than Hawaii from what I can think of). There are some metered parking and cheaper ones if you really search around but not sure about overnight ones. Honestly the properties here should do something about parking . 40-50$ a day is expensive by any standards.

This is a lovely restored boutique hotel. Including taxes I paid $581 which included parking for one night. The lobby is minimal and continental breakfast meager. Staff was lovely.
- 5/5
The staff was outstanding. Everyone from the guy at valet on Friday night to the check-in guy to the checkout woman on Saturday. Very friendly fast and efficient. I didn’t have to ask for Vip status for the upgrade. He automatically did it for me. Had beautiful view. And the valet guy went way out of his way For us.

Charming small boutique hotel with warm hospitality. The rooms were neat and comfortable and the location convenient and central to the Westwood neighborhood and UCLA. The hotel does not have an elevator which came as a surprise, therefore the lower rating in “Property condition and facilities”but overall would recommend the place.

The Palihotel is a small, three-story hotel in a converted 1920s apartment building. We spent three nights there. As hotels go it is reasonably comfortable and quiet (but see below). Our room was furnished in a faux-Deco, Ikea style with fairly comfortable beds, two not-so-comfortable side chairs, limited storage space and no desk or table, which is an issue if you want to work. I complained about that and they graciously put a small table in my corner room (apparently only an option in a larger room). The bathroom is sparse but efficient and the shower has lots of water pressure and hot water – possibly the best hotel shower I have ever been in. The windows open, which is nice in the evening. The rooms are very clean. The parking is valet and pricey. If you don’t need access to your car there are lots of much cheaper self-park options nearby. The breakfast is minimal: coffee (no real milk or cream), apples and bananas, jars of yogurt and what looked like some packaged store-bought croissants or rolls. The location is near the center of Westwood Village which can be surprisingly dreary and lifeless at night. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our biggest negative is that the floor/ceiling barrier seems thin. We could hear the people in the room above walking around, dropping things, etc. You get that to some extent in many hotels but it seemed much more pronounced and annoying here. If that’s an issue with you, you should make sure you get a room on the third floor.

At check in Andrew was very accommodating. He helped us out with several things we needed. My husband has some mobility issues and he moved us to the most accessible room. The hotel is charming but I didn’t realize there is no elevator until we were there. The shower was the best hotel shower ever! The breakfast was delicious looking and the espresso machine is available 24/7! Great experience. The next time we’re down there we will stay again.

Very nice hotel
- 5/5
The hotel is steps away from UCLA and it is in the heart of Westwood Village close to all the shops and restaurants.

Great boutique hotel in great location. Close to everything.
- 3/5
Super cute hotel with nice lobby and front desk staff. Nice room and loved all of the monogrammed P's. The only downside was we stayed on the first floor the ceiling was paper thin. You can hear steps so loudly and someone was like pacing back and forth at 3am.

The door and ceiling is not sound proofing at all. Wake up early in the morning. Other is good

I always have a nice stay at this property. Finishes and amenities are nice and the location is well situated. Staff seems to have been upgraded more experienced professionals making for a very pleasant experience.

Great location, room, staff, everything. Will definitely book this hotel again when we visit Los Angeles.

I have stayed there several times. It is always perfect, clean, friendly. They have a wonderful early breakfast and a fabulous staff. Who could ask for more.

it has not elevator that didn't bother us, since we had light back packs. the breakfast was same small coffee shop with some cake and crucian and coffee and it was not look like the hotel breakfast. i do not like this part of our trip%100.

It was a lovely experience!

Charged $45 for Valet and they parked across the street from front door. We could have done that and saved $45.

Nice boutique hotel. Love the breakfast pastries! Close to UCLA and walking distance to good restaurants.

Very nice! Loved the shower and breakfast! The valet staff were so helpful even though we didn’t need their services, they saved us money by being knowledgeable about the area and parking (special thanks to Oscar!)

Decent hotel. Older, small and cozy. Excellent staff.

Quaint, boutique hotel. Rooms are small, but perfect for a couple!
- 4/5
I had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was excellent, and the highlight for me was how incredibly clean everything was — truly spotless. The only small issue I noticed was the lack of a power outlet near the bed, which made charging my phone a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Cute, charming with antique decor. Loved the latte machine and common areas. We didn’t have enough outlets or garbage cans in our room. Our sink was plugged.

From Oti’s warm and helpful welcome to the excellent WiFi, Palihotel is my new value hotel when visiting Westwood/UCLA.

The building and decor are lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful; the bed is also very comfortable. However, the Standard Room with King Bed is really only suitable for solo travellers and seems to be set up that way (one robe, one set of towels). It’s difficult to overstate how small it is: the bathroom sink is in the bedroom; the wardrobe/storage space is almost non-existent; the fridge can only be accessed by moving the chair; the safe only accessed by moving the bedside table etc. And because your neighbours are so close, whenever they do anything (from closing a blind to using the bathroom) it feels like they’re in your room with you … which, depending on the hours they keep, can seriously hamper a decent night’s sleep.
- 4/5
Great location, difficult parking. The facilities were great, very clean, nice ambience. Nice restaurants nearby. Walking distance to UCLA. Best shower I’ve had. No elevator, expensive to park using the valet.
- 3/5
way too loud. you can hear everyones conversations around you. also a surprise pet fee dropped their rating
- 5/5
The restoration of this 1939 hotel was done very well. The room was very comfortable with a pleasant and well curated period correct decor
- 3/5
Liked the boutique style property and staff was very friendly. However the name Palihotel was not visible from the front so we had some difficulty locating it. Did not like layout of room with the open bathroom sink with no counter space and separated from toilet and shower. Breakfast should be advertised as continental since it’s only croissants, yogurt, and fruit. Lastly, $45 to valet park my car on the street with no other parking option.
- 3/5
We arrived at 2 pm and our room was not ready until 5pm. We have not been provided with any discounted options to accommodate for the time we lost. The hotel is very old and so beautiful, however at night you are able to hear all the neighbors and almost impossible to sleep
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Great location and breakfast. Very quiet. Staff were nice and friendly but they need more staff. Long wait for check in at midnight. No space to pull in for valet because no one there but we found easy street parking. Check out was good but poor one person staff trying to do it while handling what sounded like a tough call.
- 5/5
Guests with mobility concerns may not the fact that the property does not have an elevator; even the first floor rooms have a few stairs to the hallway where the guest rooms are. Very convenient and walkable to UCLA campus and restaurants Broxton Square commercial pedestrian area. Property offers light breakfast (yogurt, pastries, fruit), 24 hr coffee in the lobby, and there is a Denny’s next door. Not unusual to see homeless people in the vicinity, but the neighborhood feels safe.
- 2/5
to begin with, this property does not have an elevator so you have to go up through stairs with your luggage. There is no designated parking for the property so you either have to find your own or use the valet. The sink and shower in our restroom were clogged so my husband and I were unable to shower. Not to mention, the shower is extremely tiny. We let the front office know, and they were not helpful. I had to reach out to Expedia to try to come to an agreement. I expected more for the price I was paying. I definitely will not be booking this hotel again.
