It is more of a motel and showed swimming pool, but none exists!

Great value for money. I’d stay again.

Clean, nice staff, good location, free parking. Lumpy pillows, uninspired decor (plastic still on lampshades), weird chair cover, etc. Basic in the extreme but fairly priced.

This was the most affordable motel in Manhattan Beach. If we wanted to, we could walk to the mall across the street, which had many choices when it came to shopping and eating a meal. It is also quite close to the airport. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The beverage vending machine was out of order. Guests above us sounded like they were kicking a tympani drum around. Our room was only feet away from Pacific Coast Highway, but even over the din of the traffic, I could hear a guest in another room passing gas - and I'm fairly sure they could hear me laughing about it.

Manhattan Inn & Suites consistently meets or exceeds my expectations. Whenever I need to book a hotel/motel Manhattan Inn & Suites is always the first place I check for vacancies. The hotel is near several public transit lines which will take you anywhere from the beach, downtown, and the airport. Across the street from the hotel are restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. The area is quiet and safe. All the rooms have an adequate amount of space for luggage or any other large items a traveler might need to bring along. The staff at the hotel is friendly and always happy to assist guests. If you need coffee in the morning before check-out, they have you covered. Some of the rooms that have not yet been renovated have worn out wall outlets, so if you have heavy wall chargers for portable devices you may need to try different outlets to find one that your charger won't fall out of.

The place is clean and had everything I needed I would recommend Manhattan Village to everyone. The TV channel Changer was difficult to use.

Great place with free parking only a few minutes from the airport. We had an early morning flight and didn’t want to make a 2 hour drive in the morning. Bed was good, and room was nice.

The room was clean. The Air Conditioner and Heater worked well and the Parking Lot was easily accessible and felt safe.

It was a smoking room. Did not like that it was one of those places that patrols your every movement. What if I went out to the local bar and met someone and wanted to hang out, etc. Signs state NO visitors allowed. Makes it feel like a jail cell. It was a smoking room. It was a room with a bed. And that is what I needed for unexpected layover in LA when my flights were cancelled. Yes, I will agree with other reviewers that the room was clean. However, do not go in expecting Marriott, or even Comfort Inn, standards. Loads of street noise.

Simple accommodations, but absolutely spotless. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location for walking around town, very close to bars and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Overall the place was clean, except there were hairs in the bathroom tub. There was a musty smell in the room. It is a low budget hotel. There was a small fridge and microwave in the room. Check in was easy, plenty of parking available for the size of the hotel.

Way too expensive. Cheaper at the Holiday Inn, a name brand. At no point in time should any of thess rooms come close to $300 for 1 nite.

Very roomy...lots of space. Hardwood floors. Table w/chair. Counter space. Bathroom has tub and shower, plus hair dryer. Clean. Some people might get irritated with the traffic noise, but it didn't bother me.

Wonderful front desk staff & breakfast staff are the best, nice wonderful ladies!

- If you need some rest maybe get better hotel I will say it’s very hard to sleep, have a lot of noises from outside and AC very loud too, I didn’t sleep last night we can hear noises all the time from car from someone drunk outside. I will not stay here again.

For the price and location, this hotel is a great value. There's a beautiful walking trail that will take you directly to the beach It was a little bit loud at times, due to traffic.

Location It was a good value for your money. No frills but clean and quiet.

This was a last-minute booking and i was pleasantly surprised. It was quiet and comfortable. Parking was free which is rare.

Close to LAX Extremely dirty. Staff was not helpful and the bathroom was dirty. All the towels were full of hair. The room smelled of cigarettes (it was a non-smoking).

Manhattan Inn and Suites is my go to place when I'm in Manhattan Beach, CA. The staff are always incredibly warm and welcoming. They have always been accommodating. The area is nice and quiet. There are places to shop for food and groceries across the street which is convenient. There are three bus lines a block away so getting around on public transit is easy. Room are clean, well maintained and spacious. Having a desk in the rooms is great because there is no need to go to a cafe to have a work space. The wall outlets in some of the rooms are worn so if you have a heavy wall plug for mobile devices it does have a tendency to not stay in place. However that can be remedied if a person brings a power strip, because the plug will stay in the outlet.

Very clean and cozy…close to Everythn you’d need… friendly staff and 24 hr front desk…Also a great payment option’s credit cards and cash… there is also a $50 incidental fee which is refundable after check out. The location is perfect

Basic motel, nothing fancy. The place is old, but they keep it clean. Not too noisy at night and I was able to sleep and have some quiet time.

Manhattan Beach is expensive, but this hotel was quite reasonable in comparison to others nearby. It is well-located and right across from a high-end shopping center featuring a major grocery store, numerous retail stores, and a variety of restaurants. The room was basic but all I needed. Parking was for guests only and seemed adequate for the individual hotel rooms.

It was clean and convenient. It is a noisy location and the bed was extremely firm. I had to buy a foam topper in order to sleep.

Basic room to crash in. No frills just the basics. Lowest cost in Manhattan Beach. The owners were pleasant. Hot water in shower. Good cable TV and cold A/C. Fantastic plaza for fine dining across the street.

Bed was soft and comfortable. Staff was attentive. Easy to find a multitude of food choices just across the street.

Enjoyed the large mini fridge with freezer, microwave, nice towels, easy access from the parking lot. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location was walkable to a CVS,Ralph’s grocery, and eateries. Only 15 min drive to LAX at 7:30am, which is great. Would stay there again.

My room was spacious, well outfitted with fridge, desk and outlets (but no coffee machine) and WiFi reliable but there's no public area and the front desk is dreary. I followed the eco rules so as not to have my towels replaced but they replaced them every day anyway, so I guess I'm complaining about too much service. Safe, in a commercial/residential area. Nice little park to walk on nearby. Also, there are upscale restaurants across the street. Cozy motel. Safe. To the point. Good for families or couples. Was here for a last minute booking, and it was more than enough for some rest before my flight. Nothing fancy, but certainly not a 1 star motel! You might get traffic sounds as it’s facing a main road, but nothing alarming. Heating/cooling unit worked amazingly well for being an older model.

The staff was really nice. The check-in was very slow. The first room I got was not in good condition, but the staff gave me a better room and that room was nice. But the quality in the room, the furniture just looks old, but it was very convenient near nice restaurants in stores to shop at.

we arrived around 8pm nd the sign for the hotel was not lit so it was easy to miss the small driveway. Checkin process was unprofessional as the checkin room was cluttered with the owners personal items and the door to the family living space was open where I could see more unorganized personal items. We entered the dark room and it was not clean, sheets and mattress were stained. it looks nothing like the picture. we immediately walked out and told the management we would not be staying. They briefly argued about the cleanliness, but quickly stated we could get a refund if we contacted hotels.com. Hotels.com was quick to assist!

It was a GREAT location, being so close to the Manhattan Village, and that's about all the perks. Otherwise, you get what you pay for. And worst of all, the water in the bathroom sink never got hot. Which was strange, since I did get a hot shower.

This property was safe, clean, and staff was friendly. As long as you understand what you are booking without unrealistic expectations, you'll be fine. Definitely, coming back when in the area.

Nice management and easy check in. This is basically an overnight no frills motel. No coffee maker or amenities, but comfy bed, clean and not too noisy even though it’s on a main road. Price is reasonable compared to anywhere in the 3-4 star range.

We arrived around 1:30 in the morning, weary from canceled and delayed flights. Despite the late hour, we were greeted immediately and quickly checked in. The room was simple but modern, spacious and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We checked out a few hours later still tired but refreshed by the clean and quiet stay. Location offers easy access to the airport, restaurants, and other local establishments. Would definitely stay again. Thank you to the owners for their accommodations!

We felt very safe for an LA hotel. The only drawback is all the rooms are up against the sidewalk and you can feel people coming and going 5’ away.

I booked this room for my family members because of the decent reviews. They checked in late after an event and ended leaving at 2am because they said it was unbearably smelly and dirty. (Ie hairs on the sheets & bad smell in the bathroom)They ended up driving around in the middle of the night to find another hotel.

Check in was easy…. The hotel accommodated my requests through email. Rooms were clean. Conveniently located close to the beach and restaurants. My only suggestion is update the towels. Other than that, I would stay there again

My stay was short just one night, however the room was nice and clean and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. Very close to LAX and just right across the street from the Manhattan Beach shopping center with lots of shops and places to eat. Also was very close to the beach. I enjoyed my stay immensely, even though I wasn’t in the room much was a very pleasurable stay.

Room was clean and in good shape. Greta location with nearby restaurants and easy access to LAX and the beach/pier. Just don’t get room 209 with the exterior spotlight shining in the window!

More of a basic motel. Clean and close to several eating establishments. For one night will do. Rooms next to main road. Single glazing so not quiet.

Everything is good

When I arrived the heater had no power, but the office was quick to reconnect the circuit. Also, the bath had absolutely no towels...so no shower, not even a washcloth....And no USB port to charge your phone. Overall, it is OK just for 1 night to rest your head, but don't expect any amenities.

Nice place to stay if you’re in the south Bay Area. It is directly across street from Manhattan Beach mall. Lots of places to eat and shop within a walking distance. Located minutes away from LAX. Very convenient parking.

The price was good, the area and the hotel neat and clean with easy parking and friendly staff. We also appreciated the microwave and small refrigerator. It's also handy that it's across the from a mall and it's an easy drive to the beach. All in all the place was great.

The motel is located right off a super busy road - Sepulveda Blvd. The traffic passing by at night was super loud. I had a tough time falling asleep. The rooms are very sound insulated. It was a rough night.
