Great clean place

Even though they say pet friendly, when I checked in they weren't happy about me having my cat but they let us continue with check in. There was only luke warm water, no hot, so I did not get a shower. The sink's hot and cold faucets were reversed. The pillows were very hard. The breakfast served cold hard boiled eggs. I personally would never stay there again.

I needed a jumping off point to explore Manitou Springs and honestly this place was perfect. It is a little outside of downtown but maybe a 2 or 3 minute drive. The staff was super helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was a great perk before leaving and checking out the area. I would highly recommend.

We were not expecting breakfast, so that was a bonus to us. The breakfast options were good. We liked being able to see Garden of the God's from our window. We walked to downtown and enjoyed the shops and restaurants. The hot water on the shower was not so good. It was hot coming out, but seemed to be reduced at the shower head.

Our room was clean, but there were ants in the shower, so my husband told them in the office, and they were shocked and glad we told them. Breakfast was simple, but they had hard-boiled eggs, for which we were grateful. We appreciated the bench in front of our room so we could sit and read outside, enjoying the view. Beds were comfortable. The flower bed full of succulents was beautiful! I'd recommend it.

Old. Needs several updates. Rooms were clean. Staff needed a little pick up. Breakfast was good.

Always clean and friendly. They offer decent breakfast with boiled eggs and waffles. A good deal for us and my husband used to vacation here as a child. Not luxurious but we’d rather spend money on food and adventure.

Our room was clean but that’s about all we can say good. The furnishings are old, the laundry and ice machine are down in a creepy basement area. We also smelled marajuana several places on the property. Breakfast was okay and maintained, just needed some more protein options besides boiled eggs, as not everyone will eat those.

Awesome place to stay. We had a large group and booked 2 of the family suites. Beds were great, AC units being up high was a tad odd, but they provided step stools. ACs worked well. Breakfast was good! Wish they would have had sausage to go with waffles and boiled eggs, but still very satisfied. All of the staff were great! Pool was closed which was a bummer but everything else was FABULOUS! Will stay again!

Sharing our accommodation with a little creature was not something we expected. No sound insulation from the rooms above meant we did not get much sleep

Perfect spot to stay in Manitou. Great rooms, heated pool and a great staff. This was not our first stay here and there is a reason why. We will be back.

The property was a retro motel with lots of charm and character. The rooms are a bit tiny, but they were so clean and the staff was so nice, it didn’t affect our stay at all. Beds were very comfortable. Would stay here again! Absolutely nothing… The place was wonderful

The room could use a refresh. The bed and bedding were not very comfortable or fresh smelling. And, while clean, everything was worn.

Rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear the road next to it and the neighbors, although ours were pretty quiet. Walkable to food, convenience stores, and tour options, We brought our bikes and could bike to the entrance of the Garden of the Gods park very easily.

No breakfast until 7:30. Room was small but I think this motel was built before hotels started putting king size beds and rooms. It was still comfortable.

Clean room. Beds and pillows good. Hot water takes a bit to reach shower. Would stay here again.

The breakfast was minimal, but there was fruit and enough for sustenance. No protein tho. The room is beautiful and quaint. Definitely very comfortable.

Great place. Very happy we found this gem just when we needed it. Family suite was comfortable, and clean. Nice and quiet all night.

1st room we had the toilet didn't flush. Both rooms we had issues with the doors not sealing. Gaps on sides and bottom.

Easy to get there. Clean room, it was exactly the get away we needed.

Heater controller where difficult to get proper response

The only problem I had was that the water pressure was a little low and it took a long time to get hot water. When hot water did come, it was hot, but not as hot as I would have expected.

Great location in Manitou Springs. Beautiful view and minutes away from Garden of the Gods. Easy to get to Colorado Springs for work events. It’s an older property, but kept clean. Neighbor was smoking marijuana.

We did not have a working toilet. There was no attempt to move us to another’s room or adjust the bill.

Yes they did take my dog on but then they charged me for my dog. He's a service dog. I was in a coma 8 months ago. I don't have time for this man's attitude problem with us. I just want to relax. The room was dirty and they did have parasites which is sickening and gross

We had an issue with our credit card and now he just wants us to get out. Then my husband went to the ATM to get cash for him but that's not good enough. On top of all the pictures I have of their parasites once again this has happened to me

The parking lot was not nicely paved. Only one channel avaliable on the room TV. Breakfast was mediocre but clean.

Very clean, quiet and close to shopping, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Most important to us they are pet friendly! Would highly recommend. We ended up spending 2 more nights.

Great motel to stay in Manitou. Close to everything (can see Garden of the Gods across the street).

A couple of negatives that may be issues for some: the air conditioner is loud. Like, “jars you awake when it comes on” kind of loud. Obnoxiously loud so you can’t have a phone conversation when it’s on. I finally just turned it off and left it off. Also, massive gap under the door (which opens to the outside). Big enough to get my hand under. Some gnats in the room as a result. A rolled-up towel blocked it off (mostly). Maybe it was just that room. I’d still stay here again for that price, maybe not with a friend though.

We spent several days in the Springs area and this was a very nice motel in Manitou Springs. We had an awesome view of Pikes Peak from out room. Will be back.

The light switch and plug in on the right side of bed didn’t work, bathroom exhaust didn’t work, large gap around exterior door. I believe they just need some updating.

The ice machine is really inconveniently placed. The room was clean and quiet. The house keeper was very friendly.

a well maintained old time motel with great views. Breakfast wasn't great and the sheet metal bedframe ensured nothing was lost under the bed. I did kick it a few times.

I love the location and view of Pikes Oeak snd Garden of the Gods. Waking distance to some restaurants, shops, parks and shuttle to Pikes Peak. Quick access by car to most attractions. Ice machine and continental breafast were convenient .

Do not stay at silver saddle if you need to cancel a night stay .You will not get a refund. Our plans had changed and needed to cancel 1 nght of our 2 night stay. Would not work with me even for a partial refund.

The shower in the bathroom was moldy. The young man at the front desk was rude and very short with us. Our door to our room didn’t close properly and i didn’t feel safe with the way it locked

The doors dont seal, a/c did not work, noisy, beds are uncomfortable, no exhaust fan in the bathroom.

To control the temperature in the room you had to stand on a stool to just reach it. Really stupid way to do it!

This motel was very clean and well maintained. The bed was so comfortable. The workers were all kind and friendly. The breakfast could be a little better, but overall we had a great experience.

We were making our way back from Aspen up to Garden of the Gods on an 8 day road trip from NY. We had a unit right by the road and it was fairly quiet. The bed was super comfy and the room felt clean but did have a weird odor. TV speaker was also whacked out and made everything sound muffled. No bed bugs though, area felt safe, good ac, things felt clean, and we had a table to eat our dinner at. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap place that won’t cost you your sanity like the places in Colorado Springs that sound like a nightmare.

Clean older rooms at a good price. Nicely located to many things to do. I stay here every time I visit Manitou Springs.

What a great stay. Great group of employees. Stayed three nights, and had booked two rooms for our family. Close to everything. Rooms were very clean, and though we stayed 3 nights, our rooms were cleaned every day. We had stayed here before, four years ago, and nothing really has changed. The employees make you feel like family. It’s good to go some where and see others having a great time visiting with each other and enjoying the pool.

Overall location was convenient however the property was dated and the front door didn't properly lock and close.

Clean but run down, no frills. Loud air and upstairs rooms.

Stains in the sink, large gap under door, saw a water bug in the parking lot near the front door of my room. Smelled like dog and cigarettes.

The property was older, but obviously taken care of. Pool was nice for the kids. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was mid - waffles and a few other options, but nothing hot.

Breakfast offerings similar but less than most which include breakfast. Coffee was pitiful.

We loved our stay here, afterwards we stayed at a big hotel and found ourselves missing the Silver Saddle. Fantastic view right from your door and close enough to the shops you could save yourself on parking.

Overpriced, small bathroom, poor amenities. Poor soup and quality towels.

Love this place. Staff is friendly and clean rooms and pool. Will be back for sure as ws are only an hour away.

I liked that I was able to see my grandchildren at all times from the pool to our room. There was a great view of the mountains. The parking was very convenient. The kids loved the pool.

This motel was in a great area. The room was spacious with 1 king bed, 2 queens in two rooms. Pool was nice. Breakfast was basic at best. Great location at a great price. Would likely stay again.

You are paying for location. I did not realize this motel would be so run down when I originally booked. The bathroom door wouldn’t close unless it was extremely forced. My 8 year old actually couldn’t even open it again when he was in the bathroom. The sink counter is broken and every time a little weight was put on it I was worried it might break. The bathroom towels smelled terrible. I was trying to be kind with the staff because of a payment issue the first day but they didn’t seem like they wanted to help me at all. They just gave me a blank stare and basically wanted me to figure it out. I will not be booking here again.

Older property but well kept. Clean pool, quite and peaceful. Parking was tight but under understandable.

This was such a cute motel and perfect location! The pool was a plus for my kids at the end of the night . The rooms were clean cooling and roomy ! I would recommend to anyone coming from out of town ! Breakfast was waffles which my kids loved and some pastries , standard simple easy breakfast and the staff was very friendly!

This is an old motel, which shows it's age. I don't mind staying in older places as long as they are clean and comfortable. It was clean...the king size bed slept like a worn out mattress from a 30 year old fold out bed. TERRIBLE. TV sound did not work on some channels. We had to pay up front, otherwise would have looked for other accomodations with better bed.

My only complaint was the room wasn't quite a clean as I prefer.

Site showed up, checked in. They gave us a room to notify the front desk window. I knew that the stains on the comforter I will get you a new one even apologize about putting the nasty ass on the bed. AC unit 84 kind of remote it was bolted to the wall underneath the unit. Second stay. I would recommend spending a little bit more money and staying someplace else.

This was a great stay, beautiful view of the Incline, and of course everything else! It was clean, staff was friendly, it wasn't too noisy at night. Free self parking. I will stay again and recommend it 🙂

The property was nice and clean just outdated. The water coming out of the shower was black because the water was sitting in the lines for so long but otherwise it was fine.

My girlfriend and I found this place for a nights stay impromptu and glad we did. It was clean and quiet. The mattress was hard but suck is when you pay less than $100/night. We would stay there again!

The room and bedding had a very strong dusty mildew smell… woke up stuff

Room had a moldy smell, when i went to use a wash cloth a bunch of nats flew out of it. Bath tubs plug don't work and shower head leaks all over. I think the smell made me get sick in the middle if the night. Woke up with swollen eyes and stuffed up
