Very clean and looked freshly painted or at least well maintained.. breakfast was solid and beds were comfy. BW is not usually in my top places to stay but for playing a tournament in Melissa this was a solid spot not too far away and lots of amenities near by.

I have cancer and I got sick so I was taken to the hospital, the staff was more than excellent.

All was nice the only thing was that online it said business facilities but when we arrived that was taken up by a sundry shop. However, the front desk clerk was nice enough to print my documents for our meeting.

This was a very nice hotel to stay in. I would have given it five stars but the laundry was broke and I had to go to a coin-op laundry in a bad part of town. The rooms were clean. The staff was nice. The area nearby is kind of a ghetto. But this place will provide a safe haven from that as long as you don't have to do laundry.

The staff provided excellent service and showed genuine appreciation toward guests. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast each morning as well as hot water and coffee available at all hours. Housekeeping cleaned the room each day and replaced towels and bed sheets regularly, which helped maintain a very comfortable stay. The only minor issue involved thin walls. Television noise from a neighboring room could be heard at times. Overall, the stay was very pleasant. A future visit to McKinney will certainly include another stay at this hotel. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience.

I travel a lot and this is the best hotel i've been in, in a while! Staff is very friendly! The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.... body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, dryer, microwave, mini fridge. The body products had a fresh citrus scent. The room was very spacious. Very comfortable bed with feather pillows. The free breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, hot Cocoa, juices and more. During our stay we were asked by 2 separate employees how we were doing, and if we needed anything. The lobby was also very clean and decorated so nicely.

The room is OK. The carpet could be clean better. The bathtub was cracking and dirty around the Rim, and the air conditioning, no strength to it, barely works the toilet, barely flushes. Other than that, it was OK would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had many choices. The coffee machine had a variety of flavors, including regular. Our room was a nice size. Very clean and comfortable. We were there 7 nights and enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a week, would probably stay again for convenience. Our room was in need of updating, particularly the bathroom. Beds were never made. We normally just have the “make up room” sign every other day anyway, but they only ever swapped the towels and took the garbage. Staff is very nice.

We've stayed here twice now. The rooms are clean and comfy and it's a quiet stay. The hotel was to capacity because we were the ones to get the last room of the night yet we didn't have any trouble with it being noisy in the hallway. We did have trouble with that at another hotel where there seemed to be constant noise in the hallway and was woken up several times in one night. Not a problem here at all. Breakfast is pretty good. Lot of fruit, cereal, bakery items (lots of options for vegetarians). The staff was professional and the gentleman at the reception even offered us a bit of a discount for being repeat customers which was much appreciated. Thank you so much! Will not doubt staying here again.

The rooms were nice and clean, but the beds were never made. In fact, no-one serviced the room at all. We were successful in getting additional towels from the cleaning staff in the hallway. Additionally, the restroom sink faucet leaked every time you turned the water on. The toilet did a half-a** flush whenever you used it. Room amenities were a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot with coffee and supplies. Location was right off Hwy 75.

I had an amazing stay at the Best Western Plus McKinney! The service was absolutely top tier. Everyone was so accommodating and made me feel genuinely cared for from check-in to check-out. Patel went above and beyond, answering all of my questions and even introducing me to the best coffee in Texas right in the breakfast area! It did not disappoint! I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Staff was very nice. Rooms were nice but showing some age. Not as clean as we would like around the edges but not bad. Beds were so high that the 4’11 wife had to climb in. Breakfast good also, definitely missing healthier options. No fruits we could find . No non-dairy options at all. Overall it’s nice

We had 3 rooms for one night and they were great! We've stayed here before and always been pleased. It's an easy 20 minute drive from Canton, which was perfect for us, since our family was in town to visit Yesterland Farms and the Canton Trade Days.

We checked out when we came back from a soccer game the room smelled like chemicals so bad. I couldn’t breathe in the room and I instantly got a headache once I entered the room. The smell was so strong when we got there and we left for my son’s soccer game hoping it would clear out when we got back. It did not. So we left and checked out

Our stay this time was a short one, only because that’s all we needed to make use of some business near by on the following day from when we checked in, we’ve stayed here often, it’s always been a very nice place for us, so there’s no need to go elsewhere here in McKinney.

After a 5 day stay we extended our time so we could see friends & visit family longer on this trip to McKinney, that’s how pleased we were staying in this hotel a few days longer. Breakfast is availble daily, and you can choose from a variety of fruits, cereals, and there’s scrambled eggs with bacon/ham or sausage, waffles, yogurt, muffins, bagels, etc. there’s also plenty of coffee choices as well as juices availble.

I stayed on the second floor and checked in about 4:30 pm. the smell on the second floor was overwhelming. Someone was cooking and the smell of curry was way to much smell of anything.

Walked in & the smell was awful. The front desk guy asked me to wait & walked off. People sitting in running vehicles all around the dark & poorly lit parking lot. I was there with my elderly mother after a long day at the hospital all day, while my brother was in surgery. We turned around & left. The place was awful, I felt unsafe & the service was less than professional. I found another, very nice place 2 minutes away. It was worth paying for a second room at another hotel than to stay at this dump of a hotel.

The desk clerk at checkin was knowledgeable & very helpful. The hotel smells dreadful & our room was worse, with stained, worn, & tattered linens, rusted lig Jr fixtures & worn carpet. Run, don’t walk away from this hotel.

Great value! Recently renovated, so the fixtures were in great shape, but the contractors were sloppy so our room had paint & caulk spots, and some fixtures and furniture still had retail and installation stickers on them.

The elevator didn't work, so we had to use the (hot) stairs to get to/from the 3rd floor the entire week we were there. (The guy at the front desk indicated it would be fixed in a day or two...it was not.) The tub had hair in it (before we used it) and was obviously not cleaned well. The ceiling/roof leaked into our room during a rainstorm. We could see damage from previous leaks, and the chair and floor were VERY wet, yet when we told the guy at the front desk about the leak as we were checking out, he denied that there was any sort of leak. Really disappointing experience.

I didn't like their mini pillows. The elevator was broken during our stay and we had to use the stairs. The stairs could use some updating , the carpet felt uneven. The pool was only open from 10 am to 10 pm . When we did get to enjoy the pool area ,the hot tub was NOT hot at all .

Room reeked of mildew, there was no working elevator and it looked like it had been broken for quite awhile. Found a large cockroach in the room.

Check in was quick, hotel grounds were nice. The mini-suite booked was comfortable, though felt a bit cramped. For example, one of the queen beds was right up against the A/C unit. When the sofa bed was pulled out, it was up against the desk so that the desk chair had to be moved. Other than that, it was a cozy room.

Pretty disappointed with the cleanliness. The floors needed to be vacuumed in the room, the lamp shades had a bunch of gross food smears on them, the couch had some kind of nasty smear of something (probably food, but i didn't want to get close enough to find out) The beddind was the cleanest thing in the room thank God. Beds were comfortable so no complaints there. The elevator was broke during our entire stay, so we had to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs with luggage which was not expected.

I like the location for easy access to the highway. However, the fact that the elevator was broken and I had to carry big bags up to the second floor without help was annoying. I spent 5 days and no elevator throughout!

We were in a king suite on the 3rd floor. The room was interesting putting it nicely. Had a kitchenette but nothing in the kitchen in the way of dishes, pots, glassware, etc. Cabinets were empty. Also pics showed barstools at the bar but no barstools either. The bathtub drain was dirty as well. Also, I had seen other reviews about the broken elevator but thought sure it was repaired by our stay but it wasn’t. The breakfast could have been better as well. I did like the coffee machine bc the coffee that was in our room tasted awful. Considering this is a Best Western Plus, I would have expected more.

Had rooms booked for 2 months we are older in 70s. Did not say lower floor but they were booked. But they had elevator so no big deal. Elevator was not working and just had 1. We did get 1 room on 1st floor the other on 3rd floor bad knees can’t hardly get up stairs. Bunch of loud kids had all of first floor. Bathroom was not cleaned on 3Rd floor. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Perfect for a one night stay!

The air conditioning must not have been working in the breakfast area. It was set to 69 but it was 79 in there both mornings. I asked the person at the front desk about the second morning and he worked on it but didn’t fix it. It was uncomfortable. It was also only 70 degrees outside.

The owners refused to allow my husband to check in while I was in dental surgery AND REFUSED to give us a refund. I called BEFORE booking and was told that we would not have any problem. THEY LIED and kept our money!!!!

It was close to the places we wanted to go.

The toilet seat was broken. No oil spray was available for the waffle cooker. I left $2 on the bed for the help that was left on the bed, so how do I leave a tip?

We stayed here for volleyball. The elevator wasn't working and we were on the third floor. Wife has bad knees so it was hard to get up and down. Breakfast was non existent at 8:15a. No where to sit. Definitely won't be staying here ever again.
