Reviews
The hotel is praised for its excellent location, particularly its proximity to Beale Street. The staff are frequently commended for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, a common complaint is the malfunctioning elevators, with one often out of service, leading to long waits. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms is inconsistent, with some guests praising it and others finding issues.
- Excellent location, particularly close to Beale Street
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Frequent issues with elevators, often leaving only one in service
- Inconsistent cleanliness in rooms and bathrooms

There were drugs left on the table and they moved us to another room air conditioner didn’t work leaking refrigerator and the room smelled like cat pee.
- 5/5
From check in to check out, we had a great experience. Staff were awesome and the room was clean. Breakfasts are a little busier but still plenty to eat. Location is great to walk all over
- 5/5
Great location. The garage was also very convenient but need air conditioning in the elevators. It was summertime and stifling in the elevators.
- 5/5
The breakfast was ok. Muffins were best.
- 5/5
This is a nice hotel just 1 block from Beale Street. Our room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was good (real) scrambled eggs, good sausage links, make your own waffles and more. Complimentary water and lemonade in the lobby. I'd stay there again.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Clean, great breakfast, right next to Beale St. It was so loud at night and we couldn't sleep. There were loud cars and motorcycles on the street outside until 2am. If you are traveling with kids do not stay here.
- 4/5
Location was convenient for where we were going, which was the Orpheum theater. The pool area was awful poor drainage. The floor was flooded. The pool was green and it smelled musty. Our kids had goggles and said they couldn’t even see under the water.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was very loud outside at night. There were earplugs next to the bed that suggested we may need them. Didn't realize exactly what that meant until I tried to put our grandson to sleep. But we were warned.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 2/5
Make sure to not stay on the 4th floor near room 424, I’m not going to say why but if you get that room you will know what I’m referring to. Hotel was clean and when asked for extra towels and wash clothes they were provided.
- 5/5
I NOTICEDOTHERS CHECKING IN THEY RECIEVED FREE WATER
- 5/5
The room was wonderful, the staff was FANTASTIC. From the front desk to the people who worked the kitchen/dining area, breakfast was good, parking was good. If and when I return to Memphis, I will surely see if this hotel is available. So much within walking distance and wasn't far from Graceland.
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean and the staff were great. The breakfast options were excellent. The location to Beale Street and the sports arena/ball park was perfect-close but not on. The free lemonade gets two thumbs up. If I were to return to Memphis or give travel advise I would strongly suggest staying at this hotel. I had the king suite. Perfect for my family. I wish there had been an outdoor pool
- 5/5
The location is great. Right off Beale and walkable to restaurants, bars, and music. We have stayed here several times and the staff is always extremely helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Walking distance to music and food. Hotel was clean and really friendly when anything was needed.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
The bed was amazing. The shower temp on point and the staff very attentive. I clean for a Living so the balcony doors and frame could have been cleaner. Other than that everything was great.
- 5/5
Great location right next to Beale Street. Clean room, very useful self parking onsite included and nice breakfast to start the day
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. Great choice with being in town for a show at the Orpheum.

The workers were excellent! Customer service was superb! I was so impressed! So accommodating. TaVion was phenomenal! Nothing
- 5/5
Very close to Beale Street and safe environment and parking
- 5/5
Very convenient location for spending time exploring Beale Street. Staff from front desk to breakfast buffet attendants to housekeeping were all helpful and friendly. Parking is a separate charge but still reasonable especially considering the excellent proximity to the front entrance of the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, amenities include a refrigerator, big screen TV, high quality toiletries, safe, iron/ironing board, hair dryer and plenty of storage available for clothes and luggage. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of food choices, but don't wait till the last 15 minutes to go down - some guests' enormous portions made it seem they're having their one and only meal for the day (or 2), with little regard for any other late arriving diners.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was okay, smelled like animal urine when you first walked into the room and the bathroom door handle was broken so you weren’t able to fully close the door without having to struggle to get it open again. The bed was comfortable and our room stayed nice and cool. The noise from outside was a given considering the location but we used a sound machine and that covered up 95% of it. The location is absolutely perfect!! We would stay here again
- 5/5
The staff texted me several times throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Once, I requested fresh towels and they were brought to our room within 10 minutes! Great staff! Breakfast was convenient but nothing great. Hot food choices were scrambled eggs, sausage, smothered potatoes, oatmeal and self-made waffles. There was an assortment of breads, fruits and cereals. The breakfast staff was clearing tables and assisting people. They were excellent. Parking was great! A parking garage was attached to the hotel. Very convenient to get our car and travel around the city. This hotel backs up to Beale Street. The music starts about 8pm on week days and all day on weekends. The hotel provides ear plugs, which were found on our night stand. I travel with a sound machine so the music didn't bother me. But I can see how it could keep some people awake! We enjoyed our trip to Memphis! And I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
- 5/5
Room was big enough. Carpet was questionable as it had a sticky stain which I stepped on and didn't know what it was. Room smelled moldy like wet carpet that didn't dry out but other than that, the staff were great and location was great.
- 4.5/5
I love how close the hotel was from Beal Street and everything around it. I loved how hospitable the staff were. NA
- 5/5
Clean. 24 hr pool. Decent breakfast. Great service.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and friendly
- 4/5
Comfortable and clean rooms Breakfast was a bonus.
- 5/5
Prime location to Beale St. Good complimentary breakfast
- 5/5
Rachel and Donovan ate the best team to check you in customer service was exceptionable and very accommodating. Most definitely will book again.
- 4/5
Breakfast needs some improving more variety, more fruit and healthy choses. The orange juice was a bad brand that taste awful. The oatmeal was so lumpy and watery.
- 5/5
Clean room. Excellent location
- 2/5
Great service and property
- 5/5
Parking upon arrival was a bit challenging as it is a circle drive and if one person sits too long (as was the situation is our case) it backs everything up into the street. There is only room for about three cars to park and check in. Check in was awesome and our room was great. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location of this hotel is great. Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and friendly!!
- 3/5
Parking garage entrance was awkward at best. Room thermostat was centrally controlled versus direct control in the room. Awkward and not customer focused. Would not recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
The entire staff was the nicest group I have ever experienced at a hotel visit! Friendly, always smiling, and always helpful. This will be my go to hotel for all my Memphis vacations in future. Great location too!
- 5/5
Really great breakfast choices with omelets, bacon, oat meal, cereal, yogurt, bagels, bananas, apples and muffins. Staff was great from getting us checked in early to airport shuttle. Pool was really interesting as it is shaped like guitar but too cold and bug filled to use. It was a very clean pool. Filter probably just wasn’t working at the time.
- 5/5
What a fabulous hotel! The room was beautiful. The staff was delightful and the breakfast was delicious. I would never stay any place else in Memphis.
- 3/5
Just trying to see why i didnt get my 100 dollar deposit back yet
- 5/5
Great location! Clean, comfortable rooms, parking and breakfast. It’s basically on Beale Street, so is safe. Would stay again!
- 1/5
I hate to write something like this but it starts off the first day heater didn’t work we’re freezing and we complain and they came up and said all they had to change something because of the unexpected cold weather I changed it in half hour later no warm air coming out so that move this to another room which was warm and it worked but it’s always a hassle to have to pack unpack pack and go to another room so that was the first day and then the second day we went out and came back in the room hadn’t been made at all so we ask about that and they said oh did you request room service room cleaning services said no we’re staying at a Hilton hotel we kind of thought we would get a clean room and she said well no it’s every two days and we’re only staying two nights so that means they don’t clean it at all but I did bring us some towels which is nice. Then the caulking on the bathtub was not really there in a lot of instance I don’t know if they were using some clear some not clear but it looked kind of dreadful for a Hilton and I told him about that and they said well that fix it right away and we came back ahead and fixed it and said well we don’t fix those things while we have a guest so there’s that however the staff was very very pleasant they were very courteous and helpful as they could be so it was just disappointing aspects coming out with everything
- 5/5
Was a great spot, so close to Beale st and it was a great safe place to stay
- 5/5
Clean. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking in on site garage
- 5/5
Close to Beale Street. Good location but Memphis is still Memphis.
- 4/5
Off Beale so very convenient location. Expect noise from bands but earplugs provided! Great place to stay near all the action. Very, very safe and need key to get in at only one entrance!
- 5/5
Nothing special, but clean and pratical being located mext to Beale st.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!
- 4/5
Parking garage connected to the property made parking extremely easy. Staff was fantastic and very helpful for all of our questions and needs. I would highly recomend this hotel if you are ever visiting the Memphis entertainment district. Perfect location.
- 4/5
Everything was great. You do get some random sketchy people walking over from Beale Street.
- 3/5
Hotel is run down and not worth the money. Good location. They warn you about how noisy it is. They provide earplugs.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 3/5
Front desk staff is super nice, the breakfast staff was odd. They only greeted certain people and gave me and my kids dirty looks. Our hotel room had damage and nails on the floor. The pool was soooo gross. Idk the last time they cleaned it. The location of this hotel is really, really good.
- 5/5
Clean room, great breakfast and friendly staff.
- 2/5
The room had bugs end up moving me too a room I didn’t request in my booking with Expedia.
- 5/5
Temperatures were appropriate. Waffle station was busy, set up wasn't efficient
- 1/5
Would never stay there again.
- 4/5
The staff were super friendly, one on evening shift went above and beyond being nice to our young child by giving him two moon pies.
- 5/5
My stay here was excellent! All the staff who I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The property is well kept, clean and in a safe location. The area is in the heart of the city and there’s lots of activities to enjoy with great food and entertainment! Well worth the stay and I would most definitely recommend staying there. I will be going back to Memphis next month and I’ll be staying there again!
- 5/5
We love to stay here beacause its so close to Beale St and all rhe other attractions.
- 3/5
The free breakfast was cold. The scrambled eggs were cold and watery and the sausage was definitely cold. Staff was was nice and friendly though.
- 5/5
If you’re going to an event in downtown Memphis, stay at this Hampton Inn. It’s very safe and convenient. Parking is connected, and breakfast has a large variety and is included!
- 5/5
Great, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Amazing service at the front desk, clean and well laid out breakfast, comfy room. Great stay - thank you.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Clean room, comfy bed, up to date room would stay here again.
- 5/5
We had a great stay! Booked a balcony suite and were able to check in early which was great! Suite was clean, balcony faced the park and was great for people watching. Literally right on Beale street, almost everything is right outside your door.
- 5/5
Continently located, wonderful staff.
- 5/5
We had a lovely time, the staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. We stayed 3 nights and the pool was open 24 hours. It's only 2 blocks from Beal St. The food and nightlife was fantastic. Definitely a great trip for families. 10/10 will visit again. ❤️
- 5/5
Very clean friendly staff noisy but provides ear pluggs
- 5/5
Staff were really great even with all the chaos of Travellers
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Would like a jacuzzi
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
Hotel right by arena, and staff very friendly.
- 5/5
We went for spring break. Seemed dated at 1st glance, but was actually very nice. Never felt unsafe. Noise level was never an issue- likely due to weather. We had a great stay and would recommend. Loved the fire in the fireplace.
- 4/5
Close to Beale Street, only a block away. Prepare to pay extra for parking. Full breakfast and everything was as expected. Would recommend and stay again.
- 4/5
It was a clean room. We had issues with the hot water, but as soon as I’ve reported it to the front desk, they were nice enough to provide another room where we could shower in.
- 5/5
I got there late and I left really early but it was nice that they didn't charge me the parking fee so I was really grateful for that. I didn't really get to experience everything. I will say that it was clean and the staff were very kind.
- 2/5
The room #512 view of a homeless man digging through trash, water never got hot. An anything refrigerated froze. Horrible
- 4/5
The best hotel right there where everything was at.
- 3/5
The hotel was well located but tired... clean enough... if I returned to Memphis I would probably look for something a little nicer.
- 4/5
Very helpful and friendly staff!
- 4/5
Ok
- 3/5
We booked for one night to watch the Memphis grizzlies play got up to our room. You can tell the floors and stuff haven’t been really swept up into the elevator through the hallway, but once we got to the room, the room was clean needs a lot of updates the bed was rough definitely need a new one wasn’t the greatest night of sleep.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, cleans rooms, and just fun and vibes all around
- 4/5
Clean room. Nice hotel and staff. Convenient location to Downtown & Beale St. You do hear a little bit of road noise although not as bad as I was anticipating and the hotel does give you complimentary ear plugs. Overall we had a good stay.
- 5/5
From the staff to the breakfast, everything was exceptional! Especially Tonni!! You Go Girl!!
- 5/5
Had a great experience. Will stay again.

The room was clean and the staff was so helpful and so sweet.
- 5/5
It was very clean and the room was spacious. The staff was very friendly. 1/2 a block from Beale St. no need to drive. Anything you need is within walking distance. Will definitely be back.
- 3/5
Room Service should be daily not every other day. Very uncomfortable bed and pillows
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 4/5
Corridors and entrance foyer lifts etc need a good paint and update
- 3/5
Hotel is outdated and in dire need of a renovation. Water was coming through the balcony into the room. If you like the smell of curry, this is the place for you. Never again.
- 5/5
Great staff and the location was great

Yes
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Great friendly staff!
- 5/5
Wonderful staff!!! Great location and fantastic breakfast!
- 4/5
The hotel is in a great location, one block from Beale St. The garage costs $26 nightly with in and out access. Front desk staff were very friendly/helpful. The breakfast was tasty (waffles, 3-4 more hot items, plus breads and cold goods). The only issue we had was the constant knocking coming from the air ducts (room 424). The front desk staff did offer a different room the next day, but we were out and didn’t feel like moving everything. They offer earplugs due to the music on Beale, so we used them. One other issue is the bright night light by the restroom sink. I put a bag to block it the second night. Other than those 2 issues we really enjoyed the hotel. The beds, pull out sofa bed, and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was very spacious.
- 5/5
Friendly staff.
- 1/5
Room had roaches !!!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, the amenities are wonderful great location absolutely the best place to book. Miss Sharon at the front desk very friendly.
- 4/5
Great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms! The breakfast the first morning was not great. We went down with about a half hour left of service and most things had run out. The next morning we went down early and it was much better.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great location.
- 5/5
The front desk was excellent there was a mix up with my room and they fixed it without any questions. The room was spotless and the hotel was convenient to everything. will definitely be staying here again when i visit Memphis
- 3/5
Additionally, I specifically chose this hotel and location due to a previous stay. The reason for the choice was that the indoor pool was heated to a temperature that was very comfortable! I was so pleased with it that I chose to stay again and, to my surprise, the water was freezing. I asked for the heater to be turned on and they told me it would be checked. Later in my stay, I went back to the pool and the temp was not any higher. While this may seem minor, the downtown area in Memphis is busy and I could’ve chosen anywhere else in the city; including something more convenient to my location.
- 4/5
Clean if aged (runners in carpet) expected an oven with kitchen but nice layout.
- 5/5
Staff was nice
- 4/5
The staff was great, and it was a great lication
- 5/5
Sharon at the reception desk was great. The rooms were clean. Our stay was wonderful!
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly, parking was easy, and location was perfect.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice. Room was uncomfortably warm but staff fixed it. Breakfast area overcrowded - difficult to access. Inadequate for number of guests.
- 4/5
The staff were great, room was a little hot, and smelled of feet.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Was great
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was nice and professional.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and the location is about 2 blocks away from the FedEx Forum. Great location.
- 5/5
The staff are amazing, always there to assist with anything you need. The room was clean as were the hallways. The breakfast is a full breakfast, not just a continental style. They had eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, juice and hot tea or coffee.
- 5/5
Great room! The location was perfect for everything we wanted to go to while in Memphis. And, our balcony was spectacular.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel in a great location
- 5/5
Since the hotel is located on Beale Street, they acknowledged that it might get loud so they provided ear plugs to help you sleep at night, which I thought was great
- 5/5
Great Beale Street access. Great stay!
- 5/5
First time in Memphis and not disappointed at all with this choice of hotel. My room was large and the bed very comfortable. Being 2 minutes from the FedEx Forum and Beale Street were also huge bonuses.
- 5/5
The room was real clean. The whole building was. Staff was great
- 3/5
Spent 3 nights in king suite which has 2 king beds and a kitchen, No cleaning was provided for any day, not many options for breakfast , towels are smelly , Very expensive when compared to other hotels of similar space and style, Additional parking charges which has crowded parking
- 5/5
Front desk was soooo nice and attentive. Perfect location - in the center of everything in downtown Memphis. Adjacent to Beale street. Room was clean and modern. Loved our stay
- 5/5
Very courteous staff!
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and the staff were extremely welcoming.
- 5/5
Our stay was great. Ashley was a wonderful employee. She made our complimentary breakfast 10 times better. We really enjoyed time at this establishment.
- 5/5
Great place
- 3/5
The toilet kept refilling and was loud. The bed was a little stiff. The breakfast was ok.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Close to the stadium and Beale Street. We had a room not facing Beale Street which helped with the noise
- 5/5
My stay was amazing. The breakfast was great!
- 5/5
Nice staff! Comfortable rooms. It was a pretty mellow night on Beale Street during our stay so we actually got a good night sleep! However the rooms do provide ear plugs for when there is a lot going on.
- 5/5
Room was especially clean and large. The bed was comfortable. I booked a handicap accessible room because during booking I thought I was getting a balcony room. Unfortunately it was not, and had a view of the alley. Air conditioning was not cooling, but maintenance came up quickly and fixed it. Staff was efficient and the check in and check out process was quick. The tv was mounted in such a way if was not easily visible from the bed. An adjustable bracket would have easily alleviated this issue. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Hampton Inn on Beale is one of the best locations for easy access to Beale Street.
- 5/5
Great location. Breakfast staff were awesome.
- 5/5
We stay at this hotel every year and it is great for price. The location is excellent and the breakfast is very good.
- 4/5
We had three rooms with kitchenettes and balconies. The room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable! Breakfast in the morning hit the spot. A little bit of everything to choose from!!
- 5/5
Clean room and great staff, especially Sharon at the desk
- 5/5
The rooms are spotless. The staff is always friendly, helpful; just a pleasure to deal with. The location is perfect, around the corner from Beale St. and a short walk to the river. We stay here every time we come to Memphis.
- 5/5
Was a very easy to walk to Beale Street
- 5/5
Room spotless and staff very pleasant. Excellent stay. Will recommend to family and friends.
- 2/5
Hotel seems dated and cheap. They tell you it’s loud.but that’s not that bad. Half of the staff are unprofessional. Give you the impression you’re bothering them.
- 5/5
Great Beale Street location. Walking distance from FedEx Forum basketball arena
- 2/5
When we arrived, the room reservation was not found. Finally, the front desk found it and assigned a room. However, it was not a suite, which is what I paid for…so the front desk assigned 2 rooms that are joined with a door.
- 4/5
Staff are super friendly. Room is good, spacious enough although a bit dated. And convenient location to Beale street.
- 4/5
Great location! One block from Beale St and all of the sights and sounds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The common areas were clean and well kept. Our room was not cleaned daily and only partially cleaned one day, but not a big deal. Solid place, friendly folks and a great location!
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous especially the breakfast staff. Clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Pool was small
- 5/5
Great overall
- 5/5
Nice hotel, clean, staff were very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was very easy to walk to Beale St and other area attractions.
- 5/5
The location is incredible and the rooms, breakfast and staff were excellent. I would definitely stay here again. The prices were very fair.
- 5/5
Could have been better if they have dark curtains to block the lights from the outside. Bright in the inside
- 5/5
The place was very friendly. Very clean and extremely helpful with our needs.
- 5/5
Nice clean place…great location
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Area was crowded with people stepping over one another.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly, helpful and personable
- 5/5
Check in and out was easy and quick. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It was very close walking distance to the FedEx forum.
- 5/5
The property is very conveniently located near Beale Street and other Memphis attractions. I would definitely stay at this property again!
- 5/5
Staff was great and you can't beat the location
- 5/5
Felt safe for downtown sppt
- 5/5
Literally right around the corner from Beale Street. It can be a bit noisy due to the proximity to Beale but my wife and I like it.
- 1/5
Couldn’t get a refund
- 5/5
We appreciated the breakfast, pool, cleanliness, balcony, wonderful staff and the proximity to Beale St., FedEx Forum and many other places.
- 2/5
Room was clean, staff were friendly. Perfectly placed for Beale Street bars and restaurants. Sleep was disturbed twice by staff knocking repeatedly asking to ‘check the room’ at 8am and 10am. No idea why as when they saw us inside they said they would come back later! Bizarre and not great for ua who were sleeping off Jet Lag!
- 5/5
Everything was good far as service staff etc
- 5/5
The staff is very friendly and helpful. John at check in was awesome and Ashley at the breakfast area was great! We stay here every time we visit Memphis.
- 5/5
Good breakfast and friendly staff
- 5/5
Near Beale street
- 5/5
Nice hotel in a great location!
- 5/5
The hotel warns that it is close to entertainment and sports (2 blocks from the stadium), so it is super convenient and potentially noisy. We stayed out past midnight on a Sunday on Beale street (the next block over), and though the street was pretty busy, the hotel was quiet when we got back to our room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and fresh. Breakfast was a good, standard selection of waffles, hot oatmeal, eggs and sausages, and hot coffee (dark, medium, decaf), with super friendly staff. We loved the “southern hospitality” we experienced there, and through the restaurants, bars and stores. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Love the location to Beale St.
- 5/5
We love staying here. It’s so close to Beale street and really anywhere downtown you want to go. It’s clean, comfortable, the staff is friendly. We feel safe. The Hampton Inn is our go to place to stay when we stay in Memphis.
- 3/5
Great location near the Peabody and Beale Street. The staff was excellent. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. My only complaint was my room smelled terrible. We were too tired from our trip to complain or ask for a new room.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and parking was valet.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast! Great location.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
This location is perfect if you are planning on enjoying all Beale Street has to offer or if you are going to the Orpheum Theatre. (It was less than a five minute walk.) I was worried about the lights/noise but we didn't notice them. The friendly and professional staff made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast attendant (I didn't catch her name) was the kindest lady. If I had to make a suggestion for an improvement it would be to please remind cleaning staff to refill shampoo/soap/lotion dispensers-ours were empty. Overall-great experience!
- 5/5
Parking onsite with in and out made it possible to explore other parts of Memphis
- 5/5
Overall, pricey but worth the splurge.
- 4/5
Nice clean room and facilities
- 1/5
The entryway glass was noticeably dirty, and the elevators and some of the upholstered furniture in the common areas were similarly unkempt. Elevator panels were scratched and faded, and the paint job appeared amateurish—unevenly applied with visible buildup on the floors and walls. The same poor workmanship extended to the baseboards along the hallways. Inside our room, basic amenities were missing, including bar soap and makeup removal cloths that are typically standard at other Hilton locations. Additionally, the front desk staff seemed disengaged and unfriendly, giving the impression they didn’t want to be there. Overall, this experience fell far below the standards I’ve come to expect from Hilton.
- 3/5
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean, nice bedroom. Didn’t like all the single-use plastics and disposable plates used for breakfast.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and this was my second time staying there. I love it!
- 5/5
Excellent location - really friendly staff - good breakfast
- 5/5
Very nice spacious room. Housekeeping left a little to be desired but over all very good.
- 4/5
Located literally feet from Beale Street. Great location if that’s what you’re seeking. But prepare for late night bass seeping in if there’s an outdoor show in the park across the street.
- 3/5
At 2:30 AM I woke up and went to the bathroom. The faucet in the tub was on full blast, hot water, and we could not turn it off. (Neither of us had showered. ) so I called the front desk twice and it rang 10 times each call. No one answered either time. So I closed the bathoom door so we could not hear the water running. Next time we wentvin there, all of our stuff, including the towels and toilet paper were soaked. It was like a sauna. We dressed and went to breakfast and reported it to the front desk. They knew immediately what the problem was and sent someone to fix it while we were eating. When I answered the local hotel's text, I explained all.of this and their reply wad "Hope the rest of your stay is better. " we later saw the man who fixed it and he asked us if everything was good. He was the only one who seemed to care.
- 3/5
Hotel was dated but ok. Top floor was facing the action over on Beale. Night was very loud and the city smell was permeating the windows. Not a good night’s sleep. Day staff was great.
- 4/5
Breakfast was hot, fresh, and abundant in choice. Pet walking area was in an alley.
- 5/5
It's a block south of the Peabody Hotel (a grand old Hotel) and a block north of the Beale St. entertainment district. There's some noise from the Blues Clubs there, but I slept just fine. The staff was wonderful.
- 3/5
The property don't have transportation to the airport. And the staff could have been more helpful.
- 3/5
It was close to everything! But it was a fly in my room that we couldn’t get out, and the elevator and our access cards were inoperable at times.
- 1/5
We couldn’t check into our room until after 6 pm
- 4/5
The hotel was a good place to stay, big party area so if you want a quiet overnight I would suggest somewhere far away from Beale st
- 5/5
It’s always clean and staff was friendly… we couldn’t park because our truck was too tall but we parked down the street in a pay to park spot . Over all our trip was good .. walking distance to everything we did downtown
- 5/5
Great time love the hotel love the action absolutely astonishing. Will come back.
- 4/5
Was nice
- 5/5
Quiet despite warnings it wasnt. Easy parking. Staff was very personable and excellent. Clean room and good breakfast. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Would definitely fome back.
- 4/5
Easy access to Beale St and the “duck walk” at the Peabody. You will hear music (drums) till the wee hours so either join in, turn up your room tv or wear provided earplugs!
- 1/5
Not good, Hotel not clean Hotel
- 5/5
Very nice place. Gets a little load outside the hotel.
- 4/5
Great, safe location and access to Beale Street. Nice rooms and convenient breakfast in the am. Suites great for family. Price is right!
- 5/5
Walking distance to Beale St and also downtown pickup availability for tours.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful. Location, room, breakfast, service. Great parking facility. You cant ask for a better location to Beale Street. All the great restaurants and shops are only a block walk. We were only a short drive from the Zoo and botanical gardens as well as the pyramid. My wife and I felt very safe and even walked to several of the museums in the area. There was a bit of loud base noise at night but it stopped before midnight. I put on my headphones and didnt even hear it.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
Layout of room was good, separate bedroom from living/kitchen. Balconcy was ok... no good view. No recycling & Killed a cochroach in bathroom
- 5/5
Very convenient! Clean and well staffed.
- 5/5
The front desk people were lovely and very helpful about surrounding area.
- 5/5
Perfect location.
- 5/5
Comfortable and convenient stay if you’re visiting Beale street. Perfect location.

- 4/5
An enjoyable stay, within easy reach of Beale street and places we wanted to visit
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay, very nuch. We loved our room 619. The staff was very friendly. The elevators need to be updated. There was black watervcoming from the outside but i think that was due to the water issue. We will definately come back!
- 5/5
Great hotel position, right on Beale Street. Clean and friendly hotel. Secure parking. Would highly recommend.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and room clean
- 5/5
It was very clean and a great staff..
- 5/5
It’s noisy but it states that at registration The room could use some TLC Over all we had a great time and will be back
- 1/5
The noise at this location was extreme. It was so loud that I could not have a conversation with my wife in the facility’s parking lot. Once inside, the front desk had a sign that essentially stated that if you were disturbed by loud noise you should seek other accommodations. When I inquired if it was always this loud we were informed that it would get louder as the night progressed. We were also told that the facility did provide ear plugs for its guests. We found “other accommodations” far from this location and we have not received a refund.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the close proximity to Beale Street- I like the sounds of music and revelry. You get plenty of joyful sound from the neighborhood, so if you prefer a more quiet stay - I would suggest somewhere else. The hotel staff is very aware of this and kindly provided ear plugs in every room. The convenience market is helpful - a little pricey. It is within walking distance of other stores such as DGX. It is a great place to stay and I will definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Location was wonderful! We were there because our daughter was going to sing at Graceland and we wanted to stay closer to all the action. Beale Street is literally behind the hotel. Ashley is seriously THE BEST hotel employee we have ever encountered in all our travels. She's family now and hopefully she can come work for our music enterprise someday. If you see her, make sure to give her a HUGE tip, she works hard and has the most positive attitude. Ashley makes peoples days better. Other staff was very helpful and polite too. The area is NOISY esp at night. They provide earplugs and we played white noise on our phones. If you like quite, this is NOT the place for you. We will be back to Memphis for music related stuff, I like my sleep so we will probably stay further away from the action next time but its NOT the hotels fault.
- 1/5
We were supposed to check in at 4pm but didn't get in our room until almost 6pm. They were way behind on cleaning rooms which was a HUGE inconvenience being we had a concert to attend at 7pm. They should staff more cleaning employees when it's going to be a busy evening. I paid for a king size bed room (which I booked in March 2025) and we received a room with 2 full size beds. They called it an upgrade but with just us 2 we only wanted and needed the king size room. We will definitely stay in the hotel we normally stay when we go to Memphis which is Double Tree. We've never experienced this staying there.
- 3/5
Our room had a darkening shade that would not go up so we could not see the sun. It was broken and could not be fixed. Then late at night we discovered we had only lukewarm water in the shower. We had to request several times for them to try to fix it. Which also means we had to wait in the room and could not leave to go do anything. When they couldn't fix it the guy at the desk just shrugged his shoulders. I had to suggest another room. They did provide it and it was a step up ( it was a 2 room suite), however he acted like I was asking for a lot and seemed to be bothered by me. They said no one had ever complained about the room before, which I find unbelievable. It had no hot water. We had to move our stuff on our own without any help. We were lucky they had another room with a disabled bathroom for my husband. Our room was never cleaned while we were there and we had no new towels. Plus the air conditioner did not work well in the first room as well. I have stayed in Hampton Inn before and things were much better. The only thing good about this hotel was the location. You can walk to Beale street and other attractions
- 5/5
Next to Beale Street great location
- 5/5
Love the location and was clean.
- 4/5
Great stay!
- 3/5
During my stay, in the early morning, a group of people was very loud and noisy, slamming doors and arguing loudly, which made it impossible for us to rest and sleep. They were partying almost the whole night. It was a very terrible experience for us. We will never recommend this hotel to anyone and will never return. Thank you!
- 5/5
The room was lovely with soft beds fridge and a coffee machine. The free breakfast was excellent and all staff were friendly.
- 5/5
Clean room and everyone is friendly. Loved having the parking garage-motorcycle friendly.
- 5/5
Everything was great!! I will be returning
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Easy check in process and they allowed us to extend our check out time with no problem
- 4/5
Was close to beale st. And alot of things in walking distance
- 2/5
Noisy
- 5/5
We had to check in late due to car trouble, the staff was wonderful recommending places to eat and providing us with water.
- 5/5
Loved the location but was disappointed in the extra $100 that was charged for some trumped up tax and the parking was ok but extra charges there to overall an ok hotel
- 5/5
The staff did a great job of making this hotel special.
- 3/5
It was okay
- 4/5
Friendly people and a clean space. Beds very comfy.
- 4/5
The location was right off of Beale so it was very easy to get out and walk around.
- 3/5
One night stay. Room was handicap accessible, which we didn’t need. It had an awful deodorizer smell that was over powering but you got used to it after a while.
- 5/5
This hotel was clean, comfortable, and very convenient to get on Beale Street. You literally can walk right out the door to enter Beale Street.
- 5/5
Great spot for Beale Street activities. Walked to food, music and shopping. Also walked, 1/2 a mile, to the river for a dinner cruise. Plenty of light to walk back. Room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was good, the usual for Hampton Inn. Setting area was large and had private tables. Staff was helpful and pleasant.
- 5/5
everything was to my liking i was able to get a balcony room for my mother whom is 81 she didnt have to do much walking bc we was place in a very good view I thank you for that
- 3/5
Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The only issue with this hotel was that I had my headphones stolen from my room!!
- 5/5
Our experience with the front desk staff, notably your MOD Arames, was really top notch! They were friendly, attentive, and gave us a good laugh at every interaction. Thanks for your amazing customer service in a time when that is becoming a pastime and contributing to the fun of my birthday weekend.
- 1/5
I booked a room with 2 queen beds.. called to say that we would be getting there late as we were driving from chicago and when we got there we got a room with 1 king bed. When I called the desk no one was interested in helping us and correcting the problem. Very frustrating.
- 4/5
Great location! Very comfortable bed and nice room. However, the room carpet was filthy; a common issue with some hotels. My feet were black after a few hours in the room. Breakfast bar was ok. Sausage needed to be cooked more. Otherwise, all else was great and I will likely be back.
- 5/5
Staff is super courteous and helpful!
- 4/5
Bed and pillows very comfortable, a little dated but clean which is important. Great location
- 4/5
Perfect location for an overnight stay in Memphis if you wanna check out Beale Street. Self parking was 21$/night but that’s reasonable considering the location. Breakfast was just OK. Will stay there again if we’re in Memphis.
- 3/5
I love staying here close to Beale Street and the Orpheum for Broadway musicals. I didn’t receive any perks, I guess because I booked through Expedia instead of Hilton. Expedia was $20 cheaper. Always like the breakfast here also. Room and bed comfortable.
- 5/5
It was great just wish they had a hot tub , lol other than that it’s super convenient to everything on the famous Beale Street. The breakfast crew super friendly and helpful. It was an enjoyable stay. Thank you
- 3/5
Some rooms are facing Beale st, which means they are noisy. We stayed at the other side, not much noise but the windows doesn’t open, no fresh air just A/C. Smell of humidity in the room. The pool was dirty. Not enough equipment at the gym.
- 2/5
The staff and property were pretty good. The included breakfast was ok at best. The hotel is located about two blocks from the party district and on Friday and Saturday nights the noise was unbearable until about 3 am. Cars cruising playing music so loud our hotel windows where shacking. If you plan to party here all night, you might like it. If you are sightseeing and or with family and want to sleep Friday through Sunday night, you want to stay elsewhere. I never been in a hotel where you could not hear the TV because the music, loud engines, burn outs and people yelling. We were two blocks away from the party district!!
- 3/5
It wasn't stated to us until after check-in that there was live music played right outside of our room. It would have been nice to know that before booking. They provided ear plugs, but it was too little, too late.
- 5/5
My stay was awesome. The people in Memphis were the friendliest folks I've ever met. That made my stay even better.
- 5/5
The close proximity to Beale Street was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The area
- 5/5
From check in to check out, this is hands down an excellent hotel!!! Aramis checked us in and was on duty both nights of our stay. He was engaging, knowledgeable and funny! Ashley made breakfast so much fun and even refilled our coffee and juice cups as well as throwing away our dishes when we finished. She was so engaging and service oriented it felt like we were eating at a family member's house!
- 4/5
I booked a king bed and ended up with 2 queens. Not comfy for my husband and I
- 5/5
Rooms were clean with plenty of pillows and towels. Great service and excellent breakfast. Check in was a breeze. Even though we were downtown Memphis, we felt safe in the hotel and area and appreciated all the safety measures that were in place. Will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Great location! Easy parking, some of the nicest staff I’ve encountered. Rooms and common areas were clean. Pool was open 24hours which I’ve never seen.
- 5/5
Very good location on Beale street.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and staff was really nice and accommadating
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
The breakfast area is very small, there was not sitting available and they ran out of food and took forever for them to replenish. Location is very convenient.
- 5/5
I liked that the parking was streamlined as far as you check in and pay for parking in the adjacent parking garage and don’t have to check in and then go find parking. You check in and it’s all done at one time, very convenient and easy to follow instructions. The staff was very nice and accommodating, especially Lauren. The room was nice, clean and updated.
- 5/5
Close to Beale St and all the attractions!
- 5/5
Nothing negative to say other than the toilet was super loud, check in was a bit slow but there was a big concert going on so it was understandable!
- 5/5
I was quite surprised at the friendliness, helpfulness, and courteous manner of the staff. Our room was very clean, cool, and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
No microwave
- 1/5
The maintenance man/security man was drunk, and came to the room multiple times knocking on the door. I called down to inform the front desk and they could not get him to leave he came 3 times. It was scary. It was only women in the room. This was the worst stay I felt unsafe terrible experience!
- 5/5
On Beale
