I don’t like giving low stars but I hope others find it helpful. I was hoping for something clean and safe. While it was just ok, I didn’t feel 100% safe. Rooms are accessible to anyone walking up and it was 3am and drunk guests were confused and trying to get into my room thinking it was theirs. Accidents happen but, when people start yelling and screaming at 3am, that’s just disrespectful. Rooms smelled like weed so it’s not a great place for families. Hope this helps someone.

I didn't like having to wait 10 minutes for my room when I arrived 5 minutes early, then was given keys that didn't open the room, changed keys with same outcome, then finding out the room was occupied already. I was very disappointed.

Don’t get me wrong. Everything was great love the size of the room. Everything was clean in the room and as well as outside. Wonderful breakfast items. The two issues I have is I had to wait over an hour. And I got there shortly after check-in time started. I was told no rooms were ready. So I waited in the lobby. Five people came in after me and they got rooms. What heard is because they paid at the hotel app and not through this app, what I’m understanding. That wasn’t main issue. I was in no rush. I needed to get away from my mess. I was willing to wait. But the other issue I had. The main one that I struggle all three days. Was Internet service on their TV as well as my computer and phone. It kept on freezing. Wouldn’t let me open nothing. Even one device at a time even their TV. Get on their TV to work news or advertisement buying shows.

It was short staffed. At times the front desk would be closed for lunch.

The television in my room has not functioned as expected, and the toilet is defective—I’ve had to remove the tank cover just to flush it and prevent it from continuously running. This is not something any guest should have to deal with. Additionally, the bed frame has an exposed metal piece at the bottom that has caused us to hit our toes multiple times, which is both unsafe and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there has been excessive noise from pressure washing, and water was spraying near the elevator area, forcing us to avoid getting wet just to access it. Overall, these conditions fall far below what was advertised and what I paid for. I would appreciate this being addressed immediately and would like to discuss appropriate compensation for the inconvenience. I was there for a funeral so the last thing I wanted to deal with was having to pack all our things up to move rooms after driving over 8 hours. I was exhausted physically and mentally and grieving the loss of my dear Aunt.

I had to cancel my reservation due to a family emergency I literally had to turn around and go home. This hotel refused to give me a refund. Very disappointed in Best Western do not book here they are very unkind to their customers.

Our door locked us out for multiple hours and the staff could not fix it. We returned 12 hours later and still not fixed. We were allocated another temporary room that was not cleaned with blood on the bedsheets.

I was forced to cancel my reservation. Because of 7 dirty towels. And the cigarette smell in the room. Charged me for two rooms which I hsve receipts for because she was an idiot and didn't see the room by ses. I was charged for rooms I wasn't staying in.

The location close to Kaiser Medical Center and other retail eating places. The architecture of the building. The attendent could have been more friendly and engaging but OK with service. The coffee maker did not work and did not get a wake-up call as requested. But overall will come again.

My experience was unsatisfactory due to dirty bed sheets and an inadequate supply of towels upon arrival. Additionally, the staff were neither friendly nor welcoming. The property's poor maintenance and aged condition also made me feel insecure during my stay.

The layout of the hotel itself is cute, tons of stairs & 1 elevator was out of order. The cleanliness was good for the most part. The restrooms are VERY small. The only problem was the metal/aluminum bed frame. My Honey & I kept slamming our toes into the bed frame and it was loud. Overall would stay again.

Nobody did anything about it either. Lots of people permanently living there it looks like and everything was not clean and nice as pictured. Pay a little extra and go somewhere else.

Check in was awful. As I was waiting at the front desk for 15 minutes with nobody in site. I guy shows up and says he was taking his lunch and clocked out right then and told me to wait 30 minutes. Finally check out and that was another disaster, with him saying he couldn’t take my debit card for a deposit, so I called cooperate they said I could and they had to speak to him. I finally get to my room and all that is on the bed is a sheet and pillows. No blankets or comforter. Best western should be embarrassed.

Expedia should advertise that the hotel also charges a $100 deposit. So I didi not get to stay at the room even though i paid for it. The front desk agent said she was going to cancel it but obviously she did not because i keep receiving emails about my stay, that never happened. And Expedia doesnt have customer support by phone in the evenings. I was very disappointed.

It definitely was a little bit noisier from the highway than what I expected, the other guess staying there was more rough around the edges.

Came back to my room after checking in and turning the heater on. When I came to turn the heater down I found a cockroach on the floor. The room had a handicap walk in shower which also stunk like mold mildew which could have gotten myself sick. I was moved to another room and couldn’t get in then her to go back and get another key and room.

The room was not good working order and not 100% Cleaners phone do not work so I went back and forth to let them kown 😠

The only reason I did four stars instead of five is because it's very close to the freeway and you have some freeway noise when you're out in the balcony but hey that's a good problem to have because how many places have an actual balcony you can go out onto these are like miniature Apartments the bigger rooms with the living room and everything it's really awesome. Breakfast is really good the staff is really friendly the rooms are clean overall it's a great place

They eventually gave me a temporary room so that my kids and I would have somewhere to sleep for the night. About seven hours later, there was a knock on the door, and the front desk attendant handed me a key, saying that I could now get back into my original room. There was no explanation about what happened or why the issue occurred in the first place. Overall, it was a major inconvenience—not only being locked out of my room at 1 a.m. with my family, but also being woken up early to move rooms again. I expected better communication and service from the hotel staff.

The property was unsafe, looked like someone tried breaking into the room I was in. Also saw homeless person walking through the hotel like they lived there. Wouldn't recommend to others. Had a two night reservation and didn't even stay one of the nights. The manager wouldn't give any amount of refund for the second night. Highly wouldn't recommend this hotel. Stay in the Fairfield which is about 10 minutes from this piece of junk.

Hi just a couple of thing got there late in the night and the person in charge at the time was a sleep at the check in and same thing checking out, no hot water in the shower.

I love this place

Paints peeling off everything, bubbles on paint of bathroom door, huge stains on lamp shade of a lamp that doesn’t even work, only one accessible and convenient outlet, shower water gets everywhere because the curtain doesn’t close all the way due to a “swoop” or “slope” on the curtains pole, neighbors were partying until 5 am because of a music festival going on, iron and iron board were wobbly meaning each had trouble standing up right on their own, the wood around the locks to the room door is chopping away making me feel extremely unsafe, the staff is not friendly but also not rude. I said hi to one person and they did not say anything back. There’s potential with the layout of the facility and the room but the lack of care or drive for this business will close it down for sure.

Friendly staff

The hotel staff was very accommodating when we asked for early check-in. The check-in process was smooth and easy. I had been given a 3rd floor room and had previously asked for ground floor. The girl at the desk changed it for me and I appreciated that. Netflix was not working and front desk was not able to help but said they would ask for some kind of compensation for us. Wi-Fi was very good. . Room was good, very clean, however the bed was a bit hard and lumpy pillows. Not a deal-breaker, tho. Breakfast was decent, good coffee, lots of options. The attendant was very nice and made sure everything was stocked. We would stay here again.

This hotel is often very affordable during weekdays. It has a pretty lay out and all the staff I've interacted with here are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is pretty good too

I always stay in Best western Everytime I travel but this time upsets me really bad. My husband and I checked in for 2 nights and 3 days but unfortunately, when it was time for us to go to bed, I found BED BUGS crawling under my skin. I went to the front desk to let them know about the bed bugs on the premises, she then gave us another room to be transferred into but another unfortunate issue arise where the new room wouldn’t lock and it was very a dangerous for my husband and I security specially I am 6 months pregnant. We ended up leaving the property at 11 pm. Front desk name Briana is very nice though I’m just very disappointed and dissatisfied with this hotel. The property is very old and needs update!!!

The room was super clean, it smelled nice and the staff were amazing! The only problem was that the people that were in the room above us were stomping and running around late at night. But besides that everything was great! I would stay here again.

This would have been a decent place for me to stay when going out to visit friends. BUT, it's not!!!! Went to the restroom at 2:30am and 5:30am in the morning and all I see are baby roaches scurrying around each time on the bathroom floor. There were about 10 of them each time. I killed all that I could. It was very dramatic. I couldn't even sleep because I was scared something would crawl on me.

Outside is gross and dirty, there were always weirdos hanging around late at night. Very uncomfortable, I would never recommend this place to anyone, it was horrible, I couldn't get any sleep, don't do it!

There were too many issues. First room the ac is leaked all over the floor. We were moved to another rooms and one of the rooms they gave us the ac and lights didn’t work. The room I stayed at 216 the ac did not work in the living room and was infested with roaches. My stay there was terrible and I want a refund

Bugs and dirty beds

It wasnt too great some of the lights didnt work, there were little bugs crawling in the restroom. I had nothing but hand towels in my room no regular towels to dry off with, when I went to the service desk they said they were out of them. I turned on the air and black stuff started flying out of the vent onto the bed, floor and couch. The shower head had a leak as well.

I reserved 2 queen beds and was given 1 king. When I inquired about changing it I was told since I booked through 3rd party (Expedia) that they couldn’t see what type of room I reserved and that they were sold out anyway. The room was very loud. It sounded like I was sleeping in the middle of the freeway. Definitely more worn than I had expected. The breakfast was adequate and the breakfast staff very nice. I don’t plan on staying there again.

I have never given a bad review, we did not have any towels in our room. The bed was extremely hard and for three days I could not get caffeinated coffee from my room every day I had to replace the key card because it quit working..

The only worker for the front desk took a break and wouldn’t come back and help me and two other customers. Finally came back 15 minutes later.

Remember when Motel 6 was the pit of a hotel chain? Well Best Western, particularly this one, is a dump and in a dumpy area. Less than a block down the street there were a few homeless. The motel is dirty, run down and scary. There was a loud party going on. Large empty boxes in front of our room; a worn down couch in the room; the toilet is for toddlers…too low to the ground; the bed….is comfortable but the bottom is a metal case that is very noisy and the tv in the bedroom only had 5 channels.

The ladies at the front desk were very polite and agreeable but the promised "fixes" did not happen. Before taking the hotel up on the offer to move to another room so I would have the TV access I needed I insisted on seeing the room and trying the TV first. The TV didn't even work!! I am glad I did not move. My room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom sure needs upgrading. There were cracks in the tub, a very old showerhead (but it worked), and it needed a grabbar plus a non-slip mat for the tub. The breakfast was average, neither poor nor great. I did not go away hungry.

Room was surprisingly clean compared to the other nearby Hotels I’ve stayed at. Plenty of fast food restaurants within walking distance. Short drive if fast food isn’t your preference.

There was only one towel, the ac was dripping down the wall and was hard to work. Doesn’t look like they fully cleaned the room before I arrived.

The rooms were far from what was advertised on Hotels.com. They lacked towels. The office said someone would bring them. No one came. The blankets were also lacking. The property was scary and noisy at night.

It was okay breakfast the best, bed uncomfortable but clean as well as the room clean, shower head way too high, nice staff always helpful, solid tile floor so cold, but clean and it does take a min to get ahold of staff when calling so walk up, and walls very thin. Other than that great stay!!

We stayed here because our power was out at our house due to the winds and fires. Our room was very clean and breakfast was great in the morning. Our tv wasn’t working due to the hotel changing cable carriers and unfortunately there were no rooms to move us to which sucked because that was one of the biggest reasons we wanted to get a room. However the next morning I asked one of the staff members about the tv and she came and tried to fix it. When she couldn’t, she found us another room with a working tv. I appreciate her going out of her way to make our stay comfortable and complete. We’ll definitely stay again.
