The hotel was fine for the most part. I only stayed there one night. The hotel is pretty old and the fixtures and rooms show it's age. Other than that the stay was very good.

Staff at the hotel was great. You could tell the property was older and a few things didn’t work. The microwave in my room didn’t work, the jets in the hot tub didnt work. There were knicks in the wall that weren’t patched. The place could use a little love and some work. The carts to help with you baggage were coming apart. Hopefully ownership sees this and invests a little love into the place but the room was nice and spacious and the furniture seemed upgraded. I would stay here again but would love the hot tub to be fixed so my achy bones can feel rejuvenated.

Horrible stay there were cockroaches on the beds, the wall, and the ceiling. We tried to get clean sheets but it wasn't approved. We also requested a new room and we were told nothing could be done. We requested a call from the ma ager and its been a few days and yet no calls

Good customer service and plenty of parking. There's a bowling alley next to the hotel where the paramedics responded to two incidents under 2hrs. The rooms are clean but expect tobacco scents to over power the room.

If you want a cheap stay to rest while on a road trip, then get back on the road this place would be good for that. Rates are good compared to most places, Room was pretty clean. The amenities were not good. No water cups in my room, no ice bucket, it had shampoo and body soap dispensers but they were filled with the same harsh and cheap soap so bring lotion you'll get dried out. There is a lotion dispenser in the bathroom, it also is filled with watery cheap lotion. I get it though, you cant have cheap room rates and top-quality amenities!! For what I needed a room for just a crash and go, it was good enough. Didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment.

I checked in for a one-night stay. The entire room smelled horribly of old, stale cigarettes, which made it incredibly difficult to rest. I kept waking up every couple of hours throughout the night due to the odor, and I checked out as soon as possible in the morning.The rugs and furniture are ancient and desperately need replacement, and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. This place is in dire need of a deep clean.

It was not breakfast, it was more like a morning snack. They had cold cereal, yogurt, okay fruit and bread. Coffee and juice. The rooms smell of smoke and are musky. I was there for 9 days and I had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. They didnt came in to clean the room

The room reeked of smoke! I got a non smoking room but of course I got a smoking room. The staff re ensured me that the rooms where all non smoking but why do some have the no smoking sign? The room was drenched in smoke smell I had my 8 year old with me, I also am 10 weeks pregnant being very nausea and puking from the smell. Hoping I get my money refunded. I lasted maybe 3 hours and I couldn’t put up with it no more! The smell was intoxicating and I just headed back to Vegas 4 hours later back home. I did first called immediately when I smelled it and asking i did ask fir a diffrent room but of course they were all booked up. So im praying i get refunded this wasn’t fair.

This Hotel was not for My Wife & Family & I! They mention on their website that they are pet friendly but what they forget to mention on their website is that it will be an additional $50 for your pet to stay there. That’s what they mention when you arrive. Upon arriving about two hours before Our check in time would they let us check in early? NOPE! They told Us if housekeeping finished cleaning a room early they would notify Us. Mind you this is a hotel with 151 total rooms! If they could get us in early, that’s an additional $25. Then as My Family & I are trying to sleep, We all hear a woman screaming at the top of her lungs like she was in fear for her life in a room close to Us. 0 stars for Hotel Xola in Moreno Valley.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Very close to our destination and many restaurants. Bowling alley right next door too. Only real con was the lack of any vending machine’s. Only ice was available.

The room was clean as well as the bathroom. The only issue was certain lamps and microwave weren't plugged in. Overall the experience was fine especially for the price.

Although at first, the hotel looked nice and clean and air conditioner worked great, as soon as the lights went out, the roaches came out

The room itself was nice, the AC was great. They had a luggage cart which was nice. The not so great stuff- when we got there, there was a police officer talking with some guests. There is no security. My sister and husband witnessed some man on the stairs right outside our hotel doing drugs, then the same man was passed out in the hallway by the backdoor, which was by our room. There was no coffee maker in our room, so in the morning my sister asked if they had any coffee (because they are supposed to have breakfast, but we couldn't find it) the front desk person looked at her like she had three heads and the handed her a small personal bag of coffee and said there is a coffee a coffee maker in our room!

Stayed a couple nights with my family of 6. Rooms where clean staff was super nice. we was in the non smoking section second floor but smelled a lot like weed. Not a bad place to stay and definitely affordable

Curtains have holes in them. Screen going out to the balcony has big holes. You could see thru the bottom of the door. People smoking Marijuana and I could smell it in my room. One light didnt even turn on. I got what I paid for.

The closet door was broken, coffee maker in the room was missing, staff were not very friendly or helpful, the breakfast is very limited, there were people smoking outside of every door, there was dog poop everywhere, and no screen on the windows.

The breakfast was small you got a grain aj kids snack size of juice or 3 oz 3 oz of yogurt.anf a small peace of fruit put in a bag The pool and hot tub were not heated. The toilet in my you could only use if you put you legs under the vanity. The hall way smelled lick smoke.

This was around my 7th stay at this hotel. The staff are always helpful,rooms I had were clean and great air conditioning. Always able to park near my rooms. Can't speak on the breakfast because I never had it. All in all for the price I would recommend 👌

This hotel was a last minute decision based on price. The place is a little beat up, but clean and quiet. I slept well and the wifi was strong in the room.

I liked that they took dogs but when I went to check in the associate behind the desk told me no pets, then tried to act like he was doing me a favor because they do not except emotional support dogs as service dogs, there were no coffee cups or coffee but there was a coffee maker which was disgusting, (I took pictures) the breakfast was 1 item only, some of the doors on my floor had no door handles and brackets on the door and the remote for the TV had tape as a back and didn't even turn TV on.

The breakfast was just packaged muffins, bagels, coffee, and tiny to-go containers of orange juice, and they had the audacity to have someone ID us, write our name down, and hand the food to us like it was worth stealing. Wow. And the dining area was not comfortable enough to sit and eat anyway.

People sleeping on their car in the parking lot, room had stains on the ceilings and walls, lots of little bugs flying around, the guy at the front who checked me in did not mention anything about free breakfast. He must have noticed how tired I was and how I mentioned I needed sleep so he put me on the freeway side where it was super noisy. The bed wasn’t bad tho.

Supposedly I was in the no smoking area of the hotel but there was clearly someone smoking next door. The room smelled like cigarette smoke the entire time. I will never book a room in that hotel again.

It was okay but people down stairs complain about us for walking around so they moved us to bottom floor and kept our deposit said we were smoking but don't even smoke but still let us stay in motel another week it was a lie because if smoke your suppose to be kick out that's the rules they illegal kept are deposit ! So if you rent there they will find a reason to keep your deposit ! But don't say nothing about the Marijuana smell through out the hallways ! Your allowed to smoke weed in the rooms with out the staff saying anything ! And they don't serve breakfast they give a sack breakfast with yogurt a muffin and orange and they have kitchen but they don't use it otherwise if you want a cheap motel it's great but you won't get deposit back and if you don't mind homeless people living in the parking lot and they say nothing about it it's a great place ! But you have to worry about you car all night long !

I have nothing but positives for this hotel. The ONLY THING a person may be able to complain about is the key cards. They seem to NOT HOLD ONTO THIER CHARGE.

Decent property with good location. But it's the first time I've ever had a literal brown bag free continental breakfast, consisting of a parceled out muffin, apple and yoghurt cup. I haven't stayed in U.S. hotels lately, so maybe this is the new normal. You get what you pay for!

Parking was easy but not very secure. The room was clean enough and for the price had the things we needed, though there were some signs of wear and you could tell it was an older building. Around the property you could smell smoke and overall it didn’t smell particularly clean but nothing offensive. Staff was helpful though couldn’t help much, tried asking for a towel and extra sheets and they said they could only find one towel. Air conditioning was adequate.

Hot tub was broken. It was freezing cold and had not been cleaned. We could not use it for the two days we were there and they had no idea as far as a timeframe when it would be fixed. The doors that were supposed to be secured so that only people who were staying at the property and had a card could enter the property. We’re broken so people could come and go from the property whether they were staying there or not.

Manger and staff were rude. Sticky stains on carpet in room, hole in the ceiling. Fan knob for bathroom was broken off. Tv was out dated so it had like 3 channels. Breakfast was a muffin, small juice & an apple.

The bathroom conditions were poor; the towels were old and worn out. The breakfast was very basic and was given in simple paper bags, which does not match a quality service. Additionally, the furniture in the rooms was very outdated and looked poorly maintained. Overall, I would not recommend this place due to the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort.

Room was were very clean. Microwave was inoperable but who really uses the microwave. Nice and peaceful I'd give a 9 out of 10 rating. Will be staying again in the future

They make this place look so nice and beautiful in the pictures and when you get there it's like welcome to ghettoville we're welcomed by the local homeless sitting outside with all their belongings as we got out of her car we approached by several different people asking if we wanted to buy drugs then when I pulled back the sheets on my bed I found a dirty syringe there complimentary breakfast is a joke in itself it's all prepackaged stuff nothing hot and you can't even get it yourself they hand you a sack lunch and when you ask for like one of every items they won't even let you have that I would never stay here again I would never recommend anybody staying here the only thing that was good about this place was the wonderful lady that checked me in she went above and beyond and she was super nice but other than that this place is a complete and absolutely joke and there's nothing nice about it

This place is a dump. The photos make it look nice but we left after 15 minutes. To put it in perspective, i played in punk bands and toured for years. I can sleep in rough conditions.

The rooms was a good size. Decent price. Great location next to freeway and entertainment. Next to grocery and convenience stores. The staff was friendly. The stay ended with a large roach in the shower. This made the remaining stay short but uncomfortable.

There was a smell of smoke in the room. The decoration of the room was not the first freshness. At night, I was disturbed by noise from other rooms, and from outside. It's a scary place.

The air condition was great, but you get what you pay for. The place is okay to say the least, the place needs a major update and the continental breakfast is just bagels, coffee and cereal. The rooms were not super clean and there was no phone to call the front desk. But a plus you get a fridge and a microwave. We went to stay for a festival so honestly not bad, but I’ve been in way way better.

I didn’t give five starts because their breakfast change, they used to have a buffet style breakfast. Now there’s an employee that gives you your choices in a paper bag. I heard someone asking if he could have orange and apple juice. The employee responded no, one only. That was a disappointment

For the money the hotel was well worth it, there was food& stores in walking distance, the property was clean&the only real issue there was is that the ice machine on the 2nd floor didn’t work so you had to walk clear across the 1st floor to get to the ice machine there.

It was really clean and the beds were comfortable. I rented 3 rooms and was lied to about when I would get my deposit back.

The room was a little run down, and the breakfast was lame. Frozen prepackaged waffles or a muffin, a yogurt, and one piece of fruit. The place was not busy but the breakfast was rationed like the army. You couldn't have more than one piece of fruit or a second yogurt. The prepackaged waffle I was given was still frozen. And there was nowhere on the property to get drinking water. At least the staff at the front desk were very friendly.

It was cheap? $300 for 3 nights, and I quickly realized why. If you don't care about things being broke here and there, and just need a place to sleep, this is probably fine. It’s a little ghetto but that didn’t bother me. The area is very similar to my home town. I was pleased there were no bugs. But I will probably spend a little more for a better experience. We booked for the free breakfast but were honestly too sketched out to try it seeing the condition of everything. But lots of food in the area

Hotel has bug infestation in room 331. The moment I turned the bathroom lights on, half a dozen large roaches were crawling all over the bathroom sink and countertop. Hotel is in desperate need of an exterminator.

Low quality motel. The beds were nice, though. They ration the juice, bread, and muffins based on the number of guests in the room. Though it was described to be a continental breakfast, it was very different. Great coffee, though; free refills. I probably would stay there again if I have to (because my son studies at UCR), but I wouldn't recommend it to others.

Let me start by saying that staff were very nice.... But the hotel is falling apart, literally everything is broken.. room wall paint were pulling off, the smoke detector was patched and fingerprints all on the roof, the towels were old lokie sand paper and had holes in it .... Never stay there

The rooms were not clean, beds not made, wallpaper falling down, holes in the walls, hair and feces in the toilets the oder alone was suffocatingly bad. I went back to the front requested my deposit back, the hotel staff didn’t request why or if anything they can do. I then stated the neither room was clean and the only response I got was …” I’m sorry”, no offer to fix etc.

If all you’re looking for is a clean comfortable bed and AC then look no further. For the price I was able to overlook the mismatched furniture, peeling paint, crooked ironing board, dings in the walls, outdated windows and curtains, and broken bathroom ventilation. The continental breakfast was pretty good: yogurt, fruit juice, milk, choice of packaged pastries and fresh fruit. The pool is not heated and YES THERE ARE ELEVATORS!

The room was dirty. Staff did not clean our rooms all four days we were there. We tried to get a different room. They would not even let us staff did not pick up trash or get us towels or toilet paper. Nothing very bad service would never stay there again.

I think the hotel itself was decent esp for the price. I would have given it at least 4 stars but the entire hotel smelled like marijuana. And right next to the hotel parking lot there were tons of kids hanging out on the parking lot for over 5 hours trashing and playing ghetto music. Not a cop in sight. What is wrong with this neighborhood??

The heater/AC control was broken and I can't control it. Imagine during cold and rainy winter season you can't control the heater. They only put 2 towel for 3 persons in the room and they did not count a 12 years old boy as persons. The young lady who serve the food was mean and cruel to customer and they have only few choices for breakfast. They give you cheaper price for few dollars but their room condition and service are terrible. it's not worth it. It's better to find other hotels.

Gave hotel another chance but was not pleased and have not received any type of email on apology about last stay. Goes to show how much they care. So far evey stay inconvinient not the cleanest, and not the friendliest besides woman in the morning. What makes me give it the one star is the fact i did not even receive an apology i could care less about being reimbursed even after being told they would listen to calls and investigate original matter. For me to choose this hotel would have to be last option at this point. Night time employee at desk is rude.

The stay was ok. Rooms are abit outdated. Towels and blankets are abit rough maybe time for new ones. I did see 1 cockroach in the bathroom that I tried to kill but it got away from me. I had to keep my luggage zipped up so I wouldnt take any of them home. Breakfast was ok a simple muffin coffee juice and an apple.

Neglected ? No towels , no phone to front desk. Dead roaches on the floor. No bottled water for purchase anywhere on the property. Other than that not too bad

They need to check the sheets more often and the towels. And clean their carpets more often it’s filthy. Their customer service though is 10/10 no complaints. They have potential but for the price I guess you get what you pay for.

Check in seemed like an inconvenience to Tina. Property is not kept up. Exterior doors are missing handles. Room smelled of mold and was the bare minimum of clean. I was afraid to touch anything. Ceiling tiles were missing, no hot water in the shower in the evening. We didnt bother with breakfast or the coffee as the yuck factor was strong. Avoid.

So horrible staff. I booked because it has a relatively high score on Expedia. I arrived early at 8am and asked if I could check in early and i could even pay one extra day. The receptionist told me the hotel was full and could not offer early check in until 3pm. I knew she's telling a lie because when I asked if someone checked out early can I have early check in., The receptionist declined immediately again and insisted even someone checked out early, She "could not tell the housekeeper to do anything". Excuse me? The housekeepers can only work near 3pm? If So, why is it listed on Expedia that housekeepers are available on request? I called in the middle to see if there were any rooms available But The receptionist declined immediately again and insisted me to come back at 3pm. She said she had rooms it's just she could not ask the housekeeper to clean one room up early just for coutesey or even you pay one more day! i know It's just she doesn't want to do some extra work because it will not improve her income. I read the reviews on Google, all kinds of complaints about this place. How do the good reviews on Expedia come from?

We had to change rooms because the first room smelled a lot to smoke. The room looked damaged and not so clean. The second room was not so clean walls seemed like they had blood.

We were looking for an expensive one night stay for a family. When we got to the hotel, the desk was unmanned for a half hour. We went to grab some dinner, when we got back there were othera checking in and people loitering outside the hotel. We checked in and went to check the rooms. One smelled of marijuana and one of mildew. We did not stay as when we went out to move the car closer to our rooms felt like the loiters were casing us.

Enjoyes and appreciated the spacious room and studio's structure. Service was friendly, interactive and calm.

The room blocks out no sound it appeared there were two families in a single room that weren’t very quiet. At breakfast I requested an extra bread product and explained that my friends sugar was extremely low and was told we got my allotment and o could give her mine.

The room is better than our expectation considering the price. Overall very clean and the beds are comfortable. Fridge, microwave, a dining table and two chairs, and free breakfast. But the hair dryer is terrible. I had to go to bed with wet hair.

the front staff was not helpful. kept calling because i was going to have trouble getting to register on time. kept reaching encono lodge with the number i was given for. Xola. one time it just kept on ringing w/no answer. has to leave to CA . on the road the front desk answered and was told i had no reservation. tried again same result==no reservation. tried again a man answered and explained that i was going to be very late do to accident on the I-10 . said i could not check in because i was arriving at 8am i had to wait until 3pm on fri did not say if i had a reservation or not. on fri morning i called expedia the agent finally spoke to Xola and confirmed i had a reservation and could check in now at 2pm on fri. i paid for what you call stay protection plan. front desk person said i could not get refund for thursday the 25th. this was the first Expedia. rented as csr under Expedia also that what wrong had to cancell at the rental place. now i have to go go to the trouble of getting a refund!!

Rooms need to be kept up. The shower curtain did not fit the tub causing water to come out. The complimentary breakfast was very disappointing. Covid is over. I should have been able to grab my own items. The employee was rude and was rushing us. We were the only ones there.

Room still had someone eyelashes on the headboard, when called housekeeping they gave me a hard time about cleaning the beds. They left a bed set in a black garage bag by the door. The phone kept making loud noises in the middle of the night . People yelling and arguing in the halls.

For the price, I was pleased. Was clean. No bigs. A little cheap on the breakfast, but I can live with that. The parking lot does has some interesting characters hanging out at the bowling lot on the other side. And the parking lot has HUGE pot holes, which scraped both rims on one side

The immediate area seemed to be fairly safe, but there were quite a lot of people hanging around outside. At any given time. But I did not feel “unsafe“. The staff was quite nice. And I did not want room service/maid service so I cannot comment on that.

After arrival, found there is no water, soda or even ice in room or at hotel vending machines, breakfast is limited, it's not your choice, you take what they give. but the manger is friendly and was helpful.

When arriving, I asked the front desk staff if they were allowing early check-in that day, as I understand some days they can and others they can not. With a rude attitude, she responded, "If we have it, we can, but today wedon'ttWithoutut another word turned around and walked to the back room. I walked in again 3 minutes later to meet a family member who was staying there to see if the lady had gone to lunch. This was the same experience when checking out with another lady at the front desk. As some hotels have you sign papers at the time of check out, when I told the front desk person I was looking to check out, she just stared at me and then put her hand out for my key cards.

Our room was good. The bed was comfortable. I will say the only thing that kept me from giving it a full 5 stars was the fact that I could hear people walking as if they were in the room. The full on lack of sound deafening kept me up through out the night because for some reason people decided to run around the hallways at like 5am.

There was only 1 elevator for a 3-story hotel. The ice machine was not working and had to travel to the 1st floor. Stayed through the weekend and hospitality service never checked in to see if anything was needed. Then checked in with the front desk for pillows and extra towels and the onsite manager said she didn’t have access to that. The ice bucket in the room had fruit flies and a dead bug inside the bucket and a few hotel bedroom doors were busted. The fan in the bathroom did not work.

The rooms are very nice, especially considering the low price of $57. I recommend staying there 100%.

I did not get the room I paid for. They gave me a smaller and much cheaper room. They didn't say anything and just let me figure it out. The room I got was dirty, had cigarette burns on the sheets. The curtains were rigged up with old bent nails. The bed frame was coming apart and I smashed my leg on it several times. They regulate how much food your get for breakfast. I've been traveling over 20 years and never have I seen anything like it. I should have been refunded the money for my room. They tried to be sneaky thinking I'd never notice.

However, the second room (we were moved due to the staples on the floor) was completely the opposite. It was clean, and we had no issues. If that would've been our initial room, this would've been a 5 star review. However due to all the trouble in the first room, it's a 3 star review.

There was only 1 face cloth in the bathroom. The drying towels were thin and small...Oru window was right next to the freeway, very noisy... Lastly there was only coffee and apple's for breakfast.

From 4:00 am until 5:30 am a woman was knocking on and beating on my door and then mostly on the door next door. After about an hour she then went on to arguing loud with not for children laced tirades with another woman and a guy. This is NOT an exaggeration!! It lasted an hour and a half. Assuming someone, anyone else would call police or the front desk i laid in bed in fear the any minute shots would rang out. Other than that tbe property and staff was great.

Had to switch rooms since there were several repairs that were needed in the first room. Staff was kind and accommodating.

Everything upgraded from the Lobby to the rooms. There’s still a heavy cigarette smell I just bring some frebrez air effect linen & sky to every hotel I stay little spray curtains etc good as new and I’ll open the windows before I checkout.

Leveling to none you really aren’t giving your guest with multiple food palettes options. We couldn’t even get oatmeal they ran out. This hotel is always full and having parties left and right so I’m trying to understand why we are getting less and less food options it’s literally included online and says unlimited breakfast. That it is not. This is not ok. I’d say my favorite thing about this place though is your front desk!! Always so polite and helpful. Also if someone has been here for at least 7 days you should send someone up the 7th day to at least clean the room. It should be mandatory.

Never go to this hotel for life. Don’t believe on their breakfast it’s not a buffet like other hotels you have show all you identity and you get one apple , one small cup juice , one Begal coffee for each person in queue. Dirty carpets , unworkable key cards ,smelly corridors etc.. I checkout the room my booking date ends booked in other hotel.

The name was questionable “XOLA” which sounds like “Show-La” but even that was questionable. What wasnt questionable was the clean, upgraded, accommodations that this little Hotel XOLA offers. The rooms are all clean, fairly well upgraded. It still appears that they are constantly being renovated with new(er) pieces. Staff was helpful, check in was easy, free breakfast to get you up & on your way, simple checkout, parking is limited, laundry is available and of course the only negative would be the cigarette smell of some of the rooms. But I always bring a can of frebreze air affects /neutralizer.

This hotel has a serious homelessness problem. The hotel shut down the pool, the gym, the back exit doors, the ice machines to deter homeless. Prison style breakfasts. All the good reviews are fake. If you’re looking for a piece of mind during your vacation, pay more and book some where else.

Never been here before. First night ok. All floors smelled like smoke. All rooms supposed to be smoke free. Neighbors were arguing. Gun threats. Yelling. Loud music at 3 am. Got switched. Then that room smelled like smoke. Rolling cart at 330 am. With wife and baby not fun. Then had to be switched from the smoke room. Back to 3rd floor. And then that was next to freeway so very loud. There was people always just hanging out in the entrance and always smelling like weed. It felt unsafe, parking was limited. The room was old , bathroom door was different colors, no couch, just 2 different types of seats. Breakfast was the cheapest, sad experience they gave you a brown paper bag. This was not a place I would stay again.

Room was advertised as smoke free, on arrival stank like some and had cigarette butts in the windowsill. Management offered another room, but I declined seeing I was only there for one night.

For context, I have an FDIC insured online bank with a high-yield savings account and 2 lines of credit (who I’ve been with 5+ years) - and this receptionist was acting like I was trying to use a prepaid card. It’s 2025 and online banks are a huge thing that they are clearly unaware of. This seems like a policy to keep “certain individuals” from staying at their facility. Either way it’s a very off putting way to welcome a guest and let them know they cannot stay with you going forward. Imagine booking through a third party website and getting turned away when checking in, then having to wait on a refund and find another place to stay. Wow. There’s some questionable characters roaming around, so don’t keep any valuables in your car. The facility is a bit outdated (old paint/plugs) but can’t complain for the price. Still has all the basics as well - nothing special about it. My biggest issue again goes to the checking in experience. It was enough to make me feel like an unwanted guest.

Hotel Xola is a good value for what you pay. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff is amazing and professional. Plus it’s right next too the bowling alley, a diner, and other food places within walking distance. I feel this hotel has a lot to offer and is convenient. I will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel location was convenient for me and the price was favorable. The check-in process didn't take long and check-out was simple too. The room was comfortable. The reason I couldn't give a 5 was that I was not that satisfied with the outdoor environment. There were always people smoking by the entrance. The breakfast was simple and limited. Overall, if you are looking for an inexpensive but not that bad place to stay, Xola could be a good choice.

The room was absolutely disgusting the bed sheets were stained and covered in hair so we requested another room upon which the staff were extremely disrespectful and told us to leave if we don’t like it. We were given a new room which was equally disgusting and there were roaches. We were exhausted and didn’t feel like fighting anymore so we just asked for new sheets but the staff claimed they didn’t have any extra and didn’t have a key to the storage closet with the extra sheets. We ended up booking another hotel and couldn’t get a refund.

Staff did not inform me of the continental breakfast, that the only working ice machine was on the first floor (my room was on the 3rd floor), that the phones in the room did not work, nor did they tell me the password for the internet. There wasn't an ice bucket in the room and when I asked for one, the staff told me they home they can find one. Well, they did, but I had to go down the first floor to get ice! My daughter had gone with me to check into the hotel. While there, my daughter used the bathroom, when she came out, she said there was a hair on the toilet! The continental breakfast was a joke. You are not allowed to get your own food. They have someone there that asks your room number and last name. She then proceeds to put food in a brown paper bag. I asked for more food and she responded saying "There is only one person in your room." She still gave me what I asked for, but what a nuisance! The worst was the live cockroach in the bathtub!!! When I checked out, I thought I would be asked how my stay was. I was prepared to say I would NEVER stay there again and would NOT recommend the hotel. But, I was never asked, I guess they knew I would give a negative response. The walls in the room were peeling and the ceiling tiles were cracked. There were NO black out curtains!! They only had sheer curtains that let all the light in from outside!!

I stayed one night and had roaches in my car the next day. I was supposed to stay three nights. Expedia won't even try to give me a partial refund. I spent more more having my car sprayed and cleaned for fear they would travel back with me. So gross! I will not be staying again!

Basic clean and quiet

This was a last minute stay for my very tired husband who came unprepared and the gentleman at the front made his check in very smooth. We really appreciated him goimg out of his way.

DO NOT STAY HERE. First of all, their non-smoking rooms have been smoked in. You should consider the non-smoking room classification as a suggestion, not a standard. According to their front desk personnel, they "tell people not to smoke, but people don't always listen" = zero non-smoking rooms. We asked to be switched to a new, non-smoking room. They switched us and it was still smoky. It was clear the hotel staff knew the rooms were smoky since the windows in the rooms were wide open and the fans were on. We were forced to stay the night because it was very late. When I asked to speak to manager that evening, and the following morning, no manager was available. When we asked for a manager to call us, no call. When I called in 3 additional times, no call. When I protested and requested a refund with Hotels.com, Xola refused to refund. This place is a dump with extremely poor management. The only positive thing I can say is the front desk people were nice, although not equipped to help us.

The staff very nice, but corporate needs to change rule of you have to ask for your room to be cleaned. Never in my travel have I had to ask for someone to clean my room. Gone all day to come back to a room with no clean towels no cleaned sheets and no trash empty. Then I couldn't even get clean towels to wash up with not happy at all.

The breakfast was not worth the trouble. There were so many homeless people living inside the property parking lot. Back door of the building didn't lock. The overnight front desk man, was rude and took a long time to check you in. Very rude about the deposit that must be made by CC, nowhere does it say that on the confirmation. Called many times to confirm reservation and get details but was never able to get through. Never staying there again.

With some of the reviews I've seen on here I didn't know what to expect. For the price this is hard to beat. Is it 5 stars no.... but people must think youre getting one and paying motel 6 prices. Its ridiculous what others think. I would say it's one of the better lower priced hotels I've stayed at.

Stayed 2 nights. Beds comfortable. Clean. But don't stay on the 2nd floor on a weekend. The ballroom is on the 2nd floor and the party was noisy. Party attendees would mingle in the hall where rooms were instead of staying at the ballroom. Had to call to complain to the hotel staff. But they were quick to take care of the noise. Watch were you park. Parking is limited and you have to have a parking tag that hotel will give you. Breakfast is take and go. Not buffet. Muffins, premade waffles, bagels, fruit, juice, yogurt. Hotel staff makes a bag for you of your food choices instead of letting you get it yourself. I would stay here again.

Promised free breakfast which is very bad

Condition was poor. The furniture is broken and carpet was disgusting. Walked in to Medication pills and crumbs on the carpet. Didn’t want to walk around barefoot

My wife and I were going to an event in the area and this hotel was the only one with rooms avaliable. Check in was fast and smooth. Front desk was friendly. Our room was a non smoking room but smelled a lot like smoke. A/C did not work. Bathroom was dirty and when the water was turned on for a shower, it was initially black. Ran it for a little while. Needless to say we did not end up staying the night. We ended up making the drive home that same night. Wouldn't recommend staying here unless you really have to.

Property old and not in a good location. Dog poop and trash outside on grounds. Rooms old with outdated furniture and stale cigarette smell in hallways too. Only booked because they were dog friendly. Requested refund.

Upon arrival I noticed the window was open and wouldn’t stay shut and we were on ground floor . Told the front desk our window doesn’t lock or stay closed . We left for food & came back and the window screen was broken and the window was open again & there was people fist fighting right outside our window. I called the front desk and asked to be moved to a higher floor to feel safer . They said no & after driving 24 hours straight we had to pack up and move hotels to feel safe . I wouldn’t recommend to anyone with kids or anyone that doesn’t have protection.

The hotel was very pleasant to stay at. The room was large with a comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful.

Older hotel, no updates- carpets in hallways and rooms very dirty. Did not feel safe outside the facility after dark.

Very slow to check in, rooms kinda dingy, with a strange smell, weed smoke in the hallways all day and night long ,you can smell it from your room, only 2 movie channels, it’s good for $50-$69 bucks but that’s about it, some rooms look better than others, I guess they pick and choose who gets the better looking rooms

None of the outlets in the bathroom worked and the bathroom light would go off mid shower. Breakfast is underwhelming. Still operating like it’s COVID

Was ok for what I paid. Staff was friendly but the room didn’t smell fresh. There was one light for the whole room (no lamp) and it was on an auto timer so it didn’t stay on for more than a few minutes then would turn off.

My room was comfy and clean. Good place to stay.

They gave me the very last room on the 1st floor, next to back door and freeway. Didn't get much sleep. Too noisy.

I liked this hotel for its comfort and because it was quiet. It did have some wear and tear that could be fixed.

It was to noisy we were in the first floor near the street. Other wise the hotel was good. We just needed a place to sleep.

Homeless were in lobby when i got there and made me feel uncomfortable. There was hair in our linen beds. And smelled of marijuana

If you book a standard room (not the limited deluxe ones), expect some questionable details—like oddly placed mirrors, missing closet doors, ceiling gaps, and signs of past incidents (including a busted door). The atmosphere can feel unsafe at night, with people lingering outside and no security presence. Some guests have reported disturbances, including arguments. Cleanliness is also a concern, with mystery stains on the bed. If you’re staying here, park in the front and stay alert in the evenings. Overall 3/5 just for the fact of the price.

Good location but the hotel rooms are getting shabby. The Continental breakfast was minimal with below average coffee.

Very good stay, the only complaint is that it smelled like cigarettes. But the room was clean, the bed was clean, and bathroom was clean.

I didnt like the small low toilet, I think it is for children.

This was one of the worse places we have stayed. The room was dirty and all the furniture old and stained. The curtains in our room were broken and wouldn’t close all the way.
