Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms, comfort of the beds, and friendliness of the staff. However, many guests express dissatisfaction with the additional fees for parking and breakfast, as well as issues with the bathrooms such as poor water pressure, slow draining, and insufficient lighting. Some guests also mention outdated facilities and noise disturbances.

Our stay was very good. The lady that checked us in gave us excellent customer service. (Loved the flower in her hair. It really suited her) the pool was amazing. Our suites were very nice. The only issue was the shower. It ran either hot or cold. My son yelled “zero stars” from his freezing cold shower. You really should check the shower in Room 237. That was our only complaint. The shower in my daughter’s room worked great! The beds were so incredibly comfortable. They made it hard to wake up. All in all the hotel was exceptional.

It was clean and great location!

Everything was great except the sign that says Happy Hour Daily. Happy Hour is only Monday through Friday. But the staff was very professional and welcoming as well as friendly

The front staff at this hotel is incredibly rude not just to my family but with multiple families we were with. My room bathroom was not clean when we got there. I had to ask multiple times for towels so we could shower and again the front office staff was rude about needing towels. Not enough parking. I would not recommend staying here at all.
- 5/5
Beds comfrey . Staff was very helpful and went out of there to help me with a cell phone problem which was canyon my book . Breakfast was excellent really enjoyed . I really like the separate sleeping with the door in between. Which is a must for me. I will stay there again .
- 2/5
Really rude staff, portly maintained facility, expensive breakfast, weird parking situation. Would stay here again and don’t recommend anyone else does.
- 4/5
Excellent except for like most hotels nowadays you need to request housekeeping for clean towels daily and to change the sheets. Also the bathroom lacked a working vent causing condensation and the toilet required repeat flushing on occasion. The staff were pleasant and hospitable. The breakfast was good. Parking was an additional daily expense surprisingly and was not guaranteed.

We took our dog since it was a pet friendly hotel. We put a door tag on the do to not enter. Yesterday after being gone for 3 hours we returned to find our dog gone. The staff said a maid open the door even though a door tag said not to and our dog ran out. They blamed us and said it happened 6 hours ago and they had no idea we had a dog or where it came from. Total lie since I checked in with the dog and how does a maid open the door but not know which room the dog came from. Luckily our dog had an air tag on and after seeing he was pinging several miles away we searched a residential neighborhood for hours before finding him hiding in a wooded area scared. We live in Ohio and this hotel is in Nashville, Tennessee. I contacted the hotel again and asked to speak to a supervisor but was told there want one working. I was then told they checked the log on who accessed our door and they had no record of anyone accessing our room and their employees swip card show up with their names. They claim our dog must have unlocked the door opened a heavy metal door and walked out. Today I was told at 130 pm a duplicate key was used to open our door and it must have been us. We were downtown at that time and I have photos to prove it. They continue to lie to us and blame us for what happened. I asked for 1 night to be removed from our bill and they refused. They were only willing to take off the $50 pet fee and parking. Very unprofessional staff. They haven’t heard the last

The room had unpleasant smell, bathroom sink clogged, water passes thru the shower curtain when taking shower and sits on the door and house keeping didn’t clean the water/room. Front desk staff said the hotel was full for weekend but then I found out it wasn’t full the second day. Woke up stuffed and was not happy with my stay. Will not stay at Double Tree again.
- 4/5
Rooms were very clean, staff were extremely nice. Only downside were the walls were so paper thin you could any and everything people were doing. Even the upstairs it seemed like people were stomping. Otherwise great experience. The restroom was very dark as well, hardly any light to get ready.
- 5/5
I did not try the Breakfast option, we had so many plans. I did think the Breakfast was expensive.
- 0.5/5
When we got to the hotel, they had no reservations for us, it was almost7 at night and valentine’s weekend, so we driving around trying to get a room You charged me anyway and I didnt stay there

Staff was friendly and very helpful, but seemed understaffed. Location was great. Shuttle was an issue we never were able to use it after multiple attempts. Sofa in room was run down and in need of replacement. Overall a clean and safe location not far from the airport of the convention center and downtown. Be prepared to Uber Eats and uber if you don’t have your car.
- 3/5
Rooms dingy/dark and felt unclean as a result. Parking is expensive for an unsecured/unmonitored lot. Elevators broken so forced to use stairs and they put our rooms on separate floors in the same party/reservation. Pool was closed as was fitness center. Overall, felt to be in a lot of disrepair. We would not stay here again.

Shower soap was out. Requested twice ce before it was filled. No one a check in desk for about 10 minutes when I arrived. Other than that the stay was excellent.
- 5/5
The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and body was provided. So it is nice to not have to pack that if you are flying in. It is close to the airport about 5- 10 minutes depending on traffic. But far enough to not be loud with all the planes. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a good property well situated in Nashville.

It was disappointing to have to pay $18 for parking when there is nothing around to justify the need for parking spaces. I would understand if it was downtown. It’s okay, we just won’t stay there again.

There power was out due to the storm - tried to call to cancel the first night and change check in to the second day, but they ended up cancelling my entire reservation. I had to rebook and repay
- 2/5
Not up to standard that doubletree has. Unless they lowered them drastically. The room was not worth what we paid. Cleaning was halfway done.
- 1/5
Hotel is stuck in 1985. Small, stucco walls, gross carpets. The tv had only basic cable, Even the microwave was old. Heat didn’t work so they switched our room. New room had pubic hair in the tub. Never again.
- 3.5/5
We didn't eat breakfast there because it was too expensive for the variety/quality of food.
- 5/5
The staff was so welcoming and caring. From the night crew to the early morning staff. The room was spacious and met my needs very well. I was supposed to travel with someone but ended up just being me. The gate for parking and the main entrance. I had to walk through the gate to and from my car. $18 is a little steep for parking. When I was at a hotel near Vanderbilt it came with the services. Also, my room was near the far side of the hotel also far away from the main entrance.
- 5/5
The cookies were amazing. I loved the fact they had bottled water available and great location to airport, restaurants, and downtown.

We had a late check in and we’re only staying for the night, but once we got to our room the TV in the with the beds didn’t pick up most of the channels it said it had, and we could not control the air in the room. The heat could not be turned off or down.

We loved our stay. Hotel very clean, rooms are big, love the extra room with couch & tv

The overall stay at the hotel was okay with a few hiccups. The advertisement for the hotel states that parking is free. However, upon arrival I was charged $18.

They had a full bar and pretty good menu for breakfast and dinner. If I had any complaint, it would be that there was not much lighting around the parking lot. It really was pretty dark.

The room was so comfortable and the staff was very friendly!

We had an amazing stay with Doubletree. Edna was amazing helping us with check in. We had the option of contactless check in but opted for the traditional checkin which only took a few minutes. The bar was great with a nice assortment of menu options but please add nachos. The room was roomy and comfortable and I love a steamy shower. I don’t normally have preferred hotels but Doubletree will be my first choice

Nothing I am really unsatisfied with our stay. One of the main reasons we booked here was because of the Fleetwood Patio bar. We head to the patio bar and come to find out the patio bar has been down all season! Why are you advertising the patio bar if it’s not even been open! False advertisement! We booked this room on booking.com, when we checked in we were told that we had to pay for parking! No where on your “third party” site does it say people have to pay for parking. Again false advertisement! Our room has issues with it. The lamp in the bedroom is broken, the shower leaks everywhere on the floor, and the fridge in the room smells terrible!! What can be done to make this right? I’d really like a refund!!!
- 4/5
The hotel was nice & clean. A little older but still satisfactory. Staff was very friendly & accommodating which is becoming more rare these days. The room was clean & comfortable.
- 4/5
Amazing, friendly & helpful staff! Room was fine, if a bit dated. Beds pretty comfy. We were disappointed that the hotel’s advertised shuttle service was not in service. Online the hotel description promises free shuttle service within. 5 mile radius, which was a deciding factor in us booking here. Upon arrival, however, we were told they didn’t have the shuttle service currently. They did offer us a free Lyft ride to the airport upon departure, but that didn’t entirely make up for all the rides we had to pay for to area attractions that we thought the shuttle would take us to based on the hotel description.
- 4/5
Overall good experience.
- 5/5
The woman who checked us in was amazing. So nice and helpful as this was our first time In Nashville. The room had a small area of plaster on the ceiling that was coming off. I told the man at the front desk about it when we left. The rest of the room was clean and good.
- 3.5/5
Bed was comfortable but was sloped to the middle
- 5/5
Thought this hotel was conveniently located to access the city of Nashville as well as the Nashville airport. Enjoyed the hotel restaurant/bar for quick convenient dinner. All of the hotel staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Curtains had stains and wouldn’t shut good, Shower had a bad place in floor that’s tried to be fixed but is awful. Shower also has no water pressure. Drain in sink had no plug in it. Big in bathroom. Tv in bedroom had bad reception. Hotel.com did not mention that there was a parking fee of $18 per car to park and very upset with that cause had 3 cars.
- 3.5/5
The rooms are a nice size and the staff very friendly. And they have the best HOT WATER A GIRL COULD DREAM OF FOR A SHOWER. The cookies were hard as a brick and the property is outdated. And housekeeping can do better cleaning the rooms. The ceiling had water damage and hair was everywhere in the bathroom. But since I bring my own products to clean. I was fine.
- 0.5/5
I liked that it was close to major attractions. I didn’t like that the hotel charged my card twice and didn’t try to come to a better resolution on accommodating me. I didn’t like that the covers had mold inside of them that looks like they’ve been washed over and over for 8 years. There was also a roaches inside of my room behind the picture in the bathroom. I didn’t like the fact housekeeping is unavailable overnight. Apparently linen is locked up over night. I expected the double tree to be a little more upscale. The room also had a funny smell, it almost smelled like a toilet bowl.

- 4/5
The location and room were nice and the workers were friendly, but one of the night we were there we came back to find out room infested with ants, we talked to the lady at the desk and she just gave us bug spray….
- 5/5
My favorite place to stay in Nashville. It's close to nearly everything I want to visit and do! The place is very clean and orderly. The staff was super friendly, greeted me friendly, and always asked if more needed to be done to make my stay more pleasant. My favorite place that I stay when I visit Nashville multile times a year!
- 4/5
Confortable, but the shower was not clean enough.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
The room was clean. We stayed for two nights and it was ok. For Nashville, the price was good but you have to pay $18 per day for parking. The A/C didn't work in the first room they put us in so we had to change rooms. The second room was cooler but didn't get as cool as we would have liked.
- 4/5
Parking was annoying. You had to call to get out of lot
- 5/5

- 4/5
Nice pool and gym facilities. Great breakfast.
- 4/5
Room as a bit tired, had some water damaged that hadn’t been repaired
- 1/5
Upon arrival the hallway smelled of weed and disinfectant. Our room was on the first floor and the whole hallway smelled like someone tried to spray over a smoky weed smell. The tv didn’t work although the staff was timely and friendly about getting it fixed but as the time went by the smell of weed was so strong it was seeping into our room and was unbearable. I’m never one to complain, but we had to request a room change. Staff was accommodating but seemed a little inconvenienced by it. What people do in the privacy of their hotel room is none of my business, but if you’re staying in a non smoking room and area and all you can smell is weed, it’s a problem. Also when checking out they tried to charge $18 a night for parking, when there’s no other option for places to park, parking seems like something that should be included, Expedia even shows free parking, but they will try to charge it. We also couldn’t get out of the parking lot because the gate scanner didn’t read our ticket and had to call guest services but they never answered so had to go around the hotel to the other exit and try there. Same issue but someone finally answered and buzzed us out. Overall not a good experience and wouldn’t recommend.
- 5/5
Great stay for a family!!!
- 4/5
Quiet, clean, with a great friendly staff
- 5/5
Overnight stay near Grand Ole Opry. Clean, comfortable, easy parking
- 4/5
The pool was nice lots of people enjoyed it. Rooms were nice ans spacious we liked the separate rooms. The fold out couch bed qas broken unfortunately. Rooms were kinda noisy. But it wasnt terrible. I dont understand how hotels can charge for parking after youre already paying 180 a night. Thats crazy to me!
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay a lot. Only thing I may have a complaint about is the $75 deposit that I was not made aware of when booking. It was not in the info on the Expedia when I booked the room. Although it’s Nashville and I should have known better, it still would have been nice to know ahead of time. Other than that, the stay was great!

Didn’t appreciate the charge for parking and being unaware of it. Also not being able to have breakfast free. Have used other sites for booking and received breakfast. Was disappointed.

The place had a nice outdoor seating area.
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly & was an excellent stay!!
- 5/5
Was a nice stay
- 5/5
We are grateful we stayed at this property!
- 3/5
Overall it wasn’t bad stay. Staff were great, food and amenities were good. The only couple of drawbacks I experienced were the room was a bit dirty and I found someone’s sock. Additionally, the room darkening curtains never closed all the way and being on the ground floor next to a parking lot, that didn’t offer much privacy or convenience when cars are going by with their headlights on. Lastly, the toilet kept running every hour or so.
- 2/5
It was ok
- 5/5
Nice place...
- 3/5
Bar staff great,no shuttle, water was turned off one day at 830 till 1pm,then wgen checking out had a out ragis amount due, when i showed girl my phone n bank statement she ssaid its in cloud i still need to pay i said nope, till i had to walk away ,hand rails popping out of wall had to use then for medical reasons almost fell, just ovetall im happy just few small things got to me .
- 3/5
We did not leave a do not distrub sign out because we at the very least wanted the used towels removed, and the trash taken out. There were not trash bags in either of the trash cans to start, and neither trash can nor dirty towels were removed from the room. They did place some clean ones on the coffee table while we were out so they did come in the room. The rest of the hotel was nice and clean.
- 4/5
Bath tub and sink was not clean.
- 5/5
Great property
- 4/5
This was a perfect distance to the airport. The only reason I knocked them down a star is because there were ants in the bathroom when we checked in. I didn’t lower it even more because when I notified the front desk they had someone come up right away and take care of it.
- 4/5
I did not like the system of going to the parking as it did not work properly and there was no explanation from front desk of how to operate it
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay there. The staff at check in was nice and helpful, the bartenders and servers were nice too. The lady at check out on Sunday, April 27th was somewhat rude and condescending with her reaponses to my questions.
- 2/5
There was mold growing in the corners of the ceiling and the caulking between the floor and tub was significantly discolored. There were tons of alive and dead roaches on the balcony outside the window. Hallway reeked of pot and I could hear people “engaging” in rooms on our floor. Though there were laundry facilities, the machines were small and loud.
- 5/5
This hotel is close to everything.
- 1/5
Location was very convenient, however, the actual building was kept in very poor condition. When we got there, there was dried white stuff on the blanket to our pullout sofa bed. I took it to the front desk to get a replacement. I was standing there so long that I had to call the phone number to get someone to walk out of the office to help me. They then proceeded to switch the blanket for a comforter that had a dirty spot, thankfully this time it was just dirt, and it was ripped. Additionally, our faucet was not connected to the wall and there was mold at the top of the shower. Also, there were bugs spotted in our room. Clearly the cleaning crew had not come by our room as there were a prior guests socks in the room. It was a great location, but a very poorly run and cleaned facility.
- 5/5
Great stay for a great price. All staff very friendly!

The staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay.
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel but pretty standard. I thought it was weird to charge for the breakfast that was literally like every free continental breakfast I have ever been to. I was expecting more for having to pay for it. But overall it wasn't bad. It was clean and our room was a good size. The staff were also friendly.
- 3/5
Overall it was ok for a short stay. Staff is extremely nice and very helpful. The room I was in was mehhh. Paint peeling, dirty shower, EXTREMELY COLD and the thermostat didn’t really go hot/cold.
- 2/5
The view of the room was a roof! The place is outdated and there are plenty of other hotels that are nicer. I will be staying in the Franklin area or Mt. Juliet area next time and will probably be a Marriott chain hotel. Avoid this place!
- 4/5
Very convenient to opryland. Room was very clean and big. Only thing is fan in bathroom didn’t work and the ceiling was messed up in shower. Have to pay for buffet breakfast and they do have a bar/restaurant. Would like a like a little more lighting in parking lot. You do have to pay for parking. Would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Convenient location. Comfortable bed. Friendly service.
- 2/5
The staff acted like since we booked through a third party they we were nothing. Told us they could switch our rooms around. And would t allow us to do a late check out. We called to request something from the front desk they made us come down and get it ourselves. We will never go back again. We paid money to be treated like they didn’t want us there. Don’t offer it on the site then.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the Opry Mills mall and Gaylord Convention center.
- 1/5
Won't stay here again.
- 4/5
The lady at the front desk was awesome! Very quiet area.
- 5/5
Amazing stay as always at Double Tree. Parking lot needed more outdoor lighting though. Horrible trying to check-in at midnight when you can barely see anything in the rain as is and then to only have one outdoor light was sad really especially considering the costs.
- 3/5
The pipes made a super loud sound at 1am When reported front desk offered nothing
- 2/5
The couch had stains, the room smelled bad, the curtains were very old and stained and there was mold in the bathroom. The ceiling seemed kind of low.
- 5/5
Great front desk service! Clean spacious rooms, pretty updated and secure parking. Easy access to the highway.
- 5/5
The complimentary parking was a welcome amenity during my stay. While the room rate was slightly higher than I would have preferred, I would consider staying at this establishment again in the future.
- 2/5
The room smelled very musty. We were only there for two nights but should have left or asked for another room. The baseboards were full of both dust and mold. In one corner the room had what appeared to be black mold growing on a still wet or damp corner next to a window.
- 4/5
Liked property but will look elsewhere next time because of charging to park!!!!
- 5/5
Other than breakfast being too expensive for what was offered, my stay was superb.

The room was great. Beds were very comfy. The entire place was very clean and well maintained ( looked new). The staff was very friendly. As always the cookies were delicious. The buffet breakfast was very nice with a wide selection of hot and cold foods. We really enjoyed out brief stay.

Room was pretty clean, some normal wear and tear but nothing too bad. Quiet hotel, super comfy bed. Overall my husband and I really enjoyed our stay!

This place was dirty, the pillows smelled, the walls were dirty, the vents were really clogged

I stayed at this horrible hotel. I was bitten ny bed bugs!! Please check out the rooms before you go to sleep. I killed a brown bug. Not sure at that time what type of bug it was. Only to wake up to a few bites. I come home and have a terrible breakout on both of my arms and legs.

The sofa was extremely stained and tv in bedroom didn’t work.

Everything was great. Only thing that I wasn’t please with was parking $16 a night. The young lady I can’t remember her name waived the parking fee at check in for me & my husband and I really appreciate that thanks again. With the room rate parking should be complimentary but overall everything was fantastic from check in - check out

The pricing was fine. The lobby was nice. The rest of the place felt kind of out of date. Really didn't like the long, white hallways. Felt like a hospital.

Carolyn and Kim were amazing! They were so kind and accommodating. We arrived earlier than expected and they were able to get us in a room within a couple of minutes. The room was spacious about very clean. I’m super happy with my stay there. The only negative was paying $16/night for parking, but I do like the it was secure.

Nice location

I always forget the hidden fees at an airport hotel. 16 to park. 50 for a dog. Nice bartender even though the drinks were very expensive as well. Front desk could be warmer, as could the pool. Appreciated the doors in suite and liked the patio. Shower doors were not secure and water went everywhere. Showers need an update. They have a weird metal tray in drain that is loud when it drips. It was a good hotel, not great, but very convenient and safe.

I have never left a negative review before but I think it is important that I share that during my stay an employee entered our room with a key at 11:30pm on our second night without even knocking first. He stated that he was checking which rooms were unoccupied and the front desk called 10mins later to say they were trying to find our reservation even though we had been there 2 days already. The next morning when I was checking out I raised this issue with the employee at the desk who just said “I don’t know anything about that I think the system was having a problem” there was no follow up in relation to this issue which I do feel was much more serious than anyone working here seemed to acknowledge. An employee should not be entering rooms randomly late a night without knocking.

Cutest property with great outdoor set up

Approach to the property and parking access is somewhat difficult, better signage would help. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.
