Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its beautiful indoor gardens, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, guests frequently express dissatisfaction with the high costs, lack of room service, and complex navigation within the property.

So beautiful and has so much to do right there at the resort!

Just a fantastic smooth trip!

Also, we were awaken at 3:00 AM by an emergency announcemnt that came loudly through the speaker in our room that stated, "normal activities could be resolved at this point". That went off over and over 3 or 4 times. We were never notified an ANY emergency or what that emergency announcement was in reference to. I would not pick this hotel again and regret making the choice to use them.

Loved The Experience!!!!
- 3/5
Very disappointed in the in-room dining. The food was not presented in the way I would have thought this resort would send the food out. It was in take out containers. Even the Chartuterie board. We ate at the Old Hickory Steakhouse and had a great experience. The food was perfect, the atmosphere was great and the wait staff were amazing. Upon check in we were not informed that the hotel is completely cash less and we could not charge to our room. So if you need something be sure to take a credit card with you.
- 3.5/5
Always lots to do and enjoy. The room service menu was lacking and the quality of the food was not great. Pictures of the food would have been helpful, along with a better description as to how spicy things were. Maintenance needed to be done in our room, as water stains were visible in the tub.
- 5/5
Amazing! Opryland is our favorite hotel.
- 3/5
Too much walking, not enough food and beverage choices. Too expensive for what you get. Very nice property, but will not stay again. I will stay downtown and Uber to the opery next time. All of the staff was amazing.

I also want to commend our bartender, however it was his last day. Overall, a great stay!
- 4/5
The atmosphere inside the hotel is beautiful. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Parking is okay if using the valet, and the shuttle to the surrounding areas was nice. Did not like paying so much for parking, especially since it's already expensive enough to stay in the hotel. I feel like it should be included with reservations if you're actually staying in the hotel, and maybe charge guests who are just visiting the hotel. One elevator was broken so it we had long wait times to get to and from our room. This was reported by our bellhop and us, but never worked on or fixed. Several guests complained about it while we were around them. The elevator and hallways were hot like waiting and walking through a sauna.

Arrived around 8:00 PM. All of the restaurants and bars were closed even though it said they were open online. There was nothing to do in the evening which ruined our plans. Still got charged for parking and a resort fee, though.

Check-in experience was easy and desk clerks were beyond accommodating and pleasant. Parking is added to your room bill which is convenient. Of course, the hotel overall is absolutely beautiful and a true experience. Overall, our stay was lovely and we enjoyed it very much.

Resort was wonderful. I can’t wait to come back. My only complaint is there is no fan in the bathroom for when you shower. If staying with friends or family you must get dressed in a hot wet sauna. Are at old hickory and it was 5*. Can’t wait to stay again with my family next time

Every detail is perfect. I could have spent 3 days there just looking at the gardens. Beds and rooms are very comfortable. Restaurant variety was like being in Las Vegas. All the dumb fees. I feel like it cheapens the place to tack on little fees for non-negotiable items.

If you are on a tight budget, this is not for you. Or eat at the grab and go. The buffet we had was $79 for 2 people. A box of Pepcid was $15.37 for 8 tablets. Yikes. The gardens are beautiful though. We walked through them twice. Once at night and once in the morning. Have kids. They a whole water park for them.

The center was a destination point. Very nice, felt like a vacation.. The restaurants were not easy to figure out when they were open and closed. The website said open all day. but some didn't open till 5, which is ok unless your hungry.

We love your property. Our Bellman, Corey was excellent in providing fantastic service. Your valet parking system is disgraceful. Sunday, May 18, 2026, we called for our car and 4 attempts calling for it, 45 minutes later it arrived. Your employee working behind the counter at the valet office, was so extremely rude. It was disappointing. There was a cart in our hallway for 3 days with hangars and a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper Zero. It’s the little things.

My husband and I spend out 30th anniversary at Opryland Hotel where we spent our wedding night. We were treated with attention and compliments from the moment we entered the hotel. We even got a gift bag and a complimentary breakfast. Our visit brought back lots of wonderful memories and we enjoyed exploring all around the vastly larger property that is still expanding. Everything was just perfect, although I would have loved to have seen the dancing waters, but apparently they only run in the summer and at Christmas.

Would be nice to have soap available at second sink. Food is good but very pricey.
- 3/5
Property is beautiful but SO expensive. In hindsight we would have been better off staying closer to downtown Nashville so we could Uber less. The beds weren’t comfortable and it was tight living space for 4 people and all our stuff. The staff were wonderful and there are lots of places to eat and shop. Make sure you can stomach flushing a $100 bill before you go to make sure you are ready.
- 5/5
Very large hotel with Thousands of rooms. Room was large and very accommodating.
- 4/5
The place is so big that it is hard to navigate. There are maps in various locations, but it would be nice if they were clearer to understand. Disappointed that when we took a shower the hot water ran out.
- 5/5
Always the best place to go.
- 3.5/5
The setting is absolutely stunning—almost paradise-like. I was especially emotional seeing some of the plants that reminded me of Africa. It brought back wonderful memories, and that made the experience even more special. The entire resort is impressive and truly unique. the hotel is giant and can feel like a maze at times, so a good sense of direction definitely helps! As for the rooms, they are not very spacious compared to other hotels I usually stay in, and the décor could use some improvement. One important point that really needs attention: the availability of sanitary products. My period came earlier than expected in the middle of the night, and there were no sanitary pads available in the room. For a hotel of this standard and price, this is something that should definitely be provided.

For the price you pay the rooms were mediocre. Took about 15 minutes for the shower water to heat up and the room was hot. The property had no in restaurant or continental breakfast. No shuttle service to the airport. Expected more after paying $8000 for 4 rooms for 3 nights
- 5/5
The beauty of the inside of the hotel. The price shock of over 600dollars a night for a room. This did not include breakfast and around 37dollars to park per day. The Sound Wave Water Park was not included in the price of the room. The Sound Wave Water Park price is another 49dollars to 79dollars a day. I could have drove to the beach in Florida for the weekend cheaper than 1 night at Opryland Hotel and Resort.

Excellent stay. Beautiful property. Very expensive for a basic hotel room- beds were not very comfortable and should consider replacing the mattress. Amazing time at the hotel.. self parking was fine but I did get charged at the hotel as well as paid at the kiosk so watch for that.

Convenient to nearby mall, General Jackson, Opry and easy ride to downtown via Uber. Waterslide park attached but we didn't use it. Lots of open space that could use more restaurants/bars in the hotel. Wonderful place to celebrate Christmas.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fantastic included in my package for 2. Everything was beautiful. 15 min from airport flat $35 fee. No need to rent car the resort is huge. Soundwaves experience a little expensive but mainly for the kids under 14. Adults must accompany kids under 16 but they dont have to pay full orice and sadly they dont tell u that either. I learned from reviews. Silent party Boat ride on premises and they give u earphones and light sticks...cheaper b4 6pm. Still I think a little pricey for a 15 min ride even if u get to keep the glow stick. Waterfall show that can match the Bellagio thats free. Free shuttle to the Opry mall which was also fab that had several Game and escape rooms, food court, shopping stores, Dave & Busters, etc.

There was plenty of parking and we felt safe to park at the resort. When we arrived on Thursday, the registration line at the cascade area was crowded, but it moved fast and we were checked in about 15 minutes. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The resort was beautiful with gorgeous botanical gardens, tropical plants, plenty of waterfalls and nice walking paths. The hotel room was very clean, neat and comfortable. There were multiple dining areas, and small shops; but very pricy. The Soundwaves waterpark was extremely fun and relaxing. However, its probably best to go between May-August when the outdoor water park area is open as well. We really enjoyed the food at the Old Hickory steakhouse and the Cascade breakfast buffet. The relache spa was amazing as well. Also very pricy. But its always great to get a massage. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this resort.

We’ve never had an experience like this before, so it was really disappointing. I hope this can be improved moving forward, because it could have made a big difference in our overall experience. This happened on 4/11/2026.. Terrible experienced!!

Overwhelmed with options
- 4/5
Lovely property excellently maintained. Not advertised is that some restaurants are not opened Monday thru Wednesday. Concierge told me they would open at 5pm but that was not the case. So even they were confused or wrong. Massive property and very enjoyable stay.
- 5/5
The property is lovely, so many wonderful places to eat. The staff is amazing. If you do visit be sure to see Cousin Debbie at the concierge desk she's terrific and knows just what you need to do to make your trip spectacular!
- 5/5
The Resort and Convention Center are perfect for a convention. Just got home from exhibiting there, and had a really great Expo. I love having everything under one roof, we didn't need to leave for any reason.
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
The property itself is stunning, with indoor waterfalls, lush landscaping, and unique water features. We were especially interested in the indoor boat ride, but it was far too crowded for us to enjoy. While the atmosphere is impressive, the experience does not match the cost. The SoundWaves water park was just okay—not nearly as impressive as expected given the premium price. We’ve had a much better experience at Great Wolf Lodge for significantly less money. Our room was small and not family-friendly. There was no microwave. The bathroom was especially frustrating—very cramped, with barely enough space to maneuver between the toilet and shower. What was most disappointing is that nothing was included in our very expensive two-night stay. The food was average at best and extremely overpriced. We dined at Stax and Old Hickory, and honestly, both could have been skipped. The only reasonably priced option we found was the ice cream shop. On top of that, parking was an additional $37 per day and there was a $30 daily resort fee that didn’t seem to include any meaningful amenities Overall, this experience felt extremely overpriced and underwhelming. I would not return or recommend this resort!

Room was adequate. Very clean and bed was comfortable. We were in Magnolia and in our 70s so parking was horrid as we could see areas there we could have parked at but weren’t allowed access.
- 5/5
I recently wrote that I wanted a better scene from the bedroom but our REST was not met with the business of the atrium. Coming out of our room we were only steps from a entering spacious Oasis of waterfalls and the river. Everything was perfect for a trip that was used to relax, unwind and be reenergized. Although a little pricey the atmosphere was worth it. We'll be back. 💕

We have stayed for several years and it holds a piece of our hearts. We unfortunately had a very dirty room that I had tidied after the bathroom sink had some sort of grease and or material that ruined an expensive shirt, just washing my hands at arrival. The bedding was dirty, there were crumbs found and the pillows had noticeable dirt/makeup and had a very strong body odor filthy scent on one beds’ pillows which caused us to be awake to await for clean pillows until 430-5am, very disappointing. We were there for one night and everything else was superb.
- 4/5
Breakfast was really good!
- 3.5/5
The design is beautiful. The check in was easy. The music everywhere was a nice touch. Different price ranges in food was a great idea for different budgets. For how much you spend I think breakfast should be included along with sound. I think it’s crazy you have to pay to watch your kids swim. More later options for food would be nice. The staircases are hard to find and only one elevator worked which was always packed. To pay that much to park is crazy on top of a service fee to use the card but you can’t use cash.
- 4/5
I mean, it’s a Gaylord Resort so you know it’s going to be impressive & have everything! This was our first actual stay at the hotel [March] but we’ve visited 2 times before around Christmas. At Christmas, visiting is SOOOOO worth it! The hotel is decked out for the holidays like you’ve never seen! In March, we were less impressed. Several of the coffee spots & shops were closed. Staff were not helpful in directing us to what actually was open. There was a huge conference kicking off the same night we arrived & the bars/restaurants were not staffed to handle the volume of people. Our room was just ok. It’s obvious how much traffic the hotel gets… our room was really roughed up around the edges. We saw the Opry show that night… it’s really convenient walking to/from the Gaylord from the Opry. That said, for the cost & the volume of lodging available in Nashville, I would not choose to stay at the Gaylord again. If you’re visiting the Opry, get an Uber to the Gaylord at 4P, grab a drink & explore the hotel, walk over to the Opry House at 6P and walk back to the Gaylord after the show for a post-show drink & to avoid the heavy vehicle traffic & Uber surge pricing before & after the shows.
- 4/5
We love this hotel! Stay there alot and its always great.

We loved the coffee, cleanliness and location of the facility. No place to comfortably sit while in the room. No one explained how the shuttle worked going to the Opry. Many of the other guests were confused as well. The outdoor pool was not open so we could enjoy the sun.

I paid $1015 for 2 rooms in Cascades. The view was terrible. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work. There are no microwaves in the room. The bathroom mirrors are not defrost. & you are charged by the day to park your car $37 self parking & $55 valet parking. This is most definitely not the best resort I’ve stayed at.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Small issue with room keys not working a couple times. Parking is way too expensive for already paying so much for nightly rate but other than that it was great!
- 5/5
Our room was so nice and clean. I loved everything about this place and plan to visit again later this year
- 5/5
We went to the Gaylord Opryland at Christmas time and the decorations were amazing. There were events daily for Christmas that we never left the hotel except to go to a concert at the Grand Ole Opry.
- 3/5
In addition, you have to go upstairs to go down the stairs. Have to go left to go right. The rooms were quiet, and spacious but the beds were hard. The only reason we stayed there was to walk to the Grand ole Opry. We had to walk down several other rooms hallways just to get out.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel and staff was so nice and helpful
- 3/5
I loved the property, it was very cool and incredibly beautiful. The staff was fantastic and really made the experience feel special. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the hotel by itself isn’t quite worth the money. Maybe if you were planning to use the pool, see a show, head downtown, or do something else in the area, it would feel more justified. After about an hour of walking around, you’ve pretty much seen everything. Still, it was an excellent experience overall, and I’m really happy I did it.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful! Room, restaurants, and convention location was easy
- 2/5
The WiFi was the worst. Lots of buffering trying to watch a YouTube video, and the TV internet was the same…very slow. The room was dated. I expected more for the price.
- 3/5
The flights and hotel were great. Were we had problems was with Sixth as the rental car company. The car we were provided had mechanical issues which we reported immediately after arriving at our hotel. They wanted us to drive the car back to the airport or pay for roadside assistance to have the car towed back. We spent our first evening dealing with them and then having to rent a car from a completely different vendor. We will never rent a car from that vendor again. Very poor customer service.

- 3/5
Room and grounds were absolutely stunning. The venue is very unique and interesting. It is very hard to navigate and it was almost impossible to find our way around. It was indeed a glorious maze of confusion. We went at Christmas time so at least we had decoration to look at while we were lost. We will be going back in February perhaps it will be easier to navigate this time!
- 4/5
We paid for an atrium room, as we have done multiple times in the past. However, our room was on the bottom level, and our “balcony” was at the same level as the walkway and everyone could look in our room as they walked by. We had to close the curtains and didn’t feel comfortable using our patio. There weren’t other rooms available for us to move to unfortunately. I don’t feel like those rooms should be the same price as higher level atrium rooms because we couldn’t see anything in the atrium area we were in because we were in a corner on that bottom level. It felt like an interior room.
- 5/5
Excelente lugar para pasar unas vacaciones , la limpieza en la habitación es excepcional limpian diario y te cambian todas las toallas . Cuenta gon buffet para desayuno con muy buena variedad , y restaursnte muy buenos.
- 3/5
Way too expensive for complimentary breakfast not to be provided. If you’re going to charge that much at least provide complimentary passes for something at the hotel instead of gouging people’s pocketbooks.
- 4/5
The room was clean but a bit small. The main challenge had been that staff did not always seem friendly. They sell add on activities at the resort and in many cases, they were overpriced. It was sometimes difficult to find drinks at different bars.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. The room was great, Christmas decorations beautiful and the wait for any restaurant was minimal.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean.
- 4/5
Staff helpful, beautiful hotel
- 3/5
I called ahead for requests due to traveling with my 95 year old mother and we were first put in a room farthest away from the main lobby! Spent two hours of our first day there trying to get a more convenient placement for me and my family who I had also requested to be close to me! Did not happen! Housekeeping was sporadic and we never got face cloths during our stay! Parking was hard and key access to parking did not work most of the time Disappointed overall as this was part of Christmas for my family
- 5/5
Always love staying at the Gaylord. The holiday season is amazing and the perfect place for family.
- 4/5
The guy at the delta bar l think his name was tom was very unprofessional, was not polite at all and make you feel like not going back, and l did
- 2/5
Shower walls covered in mold and killed two roaches in the bathroom,
- 5/5
The room was spotless. We upgraded to an inside room with a balcony and the staff made the change very quickly and sent a bellman to assist with moving to the new room. The hotel is beautiful and we plan to bring our grandkids next time we visit.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
No balcony or free breakfast
- 4/5
Room far away and keys did not work. Had to walk all the way back to lobby with luggage. Very crowded, assuming because of holiday, but could not even get a cup of coffee. Waited 25 minutes for them to tell us they ran out. Property is very beautiful.
- 5/5
The garden view rooms are wonderful! We love the balcony and the view of all the holiday lights.
- 1/5
Just very overpriced for not great quality. The extras like ice tubing and scavenger hunt were very disappointing. We did enjoy the ice skating even though it wasn’t level and there was a huge hole in the rink. We couldn’t get a rollaway bed even though when I booked they told me we could. The room was very small again for so much money there wasn’t really any benefit or convenience. Booked this based on reviews online and just didn’t meet expectations at all. The food was not good, we ended up eating at Waffle House or other places we have in Texas because at least we knew the food would be “okay” and not crazy expensive. Overall everything was just a hassle and I felt relief ending this vacation.
- 3/5
Overcrowded. They have designed a resort with far more room capacity than amenity capacity. So if you just want to walk around or stay in your room, it's fine. If you want to use any of the amenities, it's uselessly overcrowded with long lines for everything from coffee to swimming. In room dining is just a box with a hamburger in it. Restaurants always booked. Water sounds are fairly loud at 70db contsantly in all interior spaces, too loud to talk at a table without leaning over or shouting... except at 8am, from 7-8am it's nice. By 9am and for the rest of the day, uselessly overcrowded. Should have about 1/3rd fewer rooms. Oh, no parking either and half the EV chargers dont work, which theres only 8, I found 4 working but with thousands upon thousands of cars in the lots, there's a lot more than 4 EVs at any given time. So, bad design all around. Most of the time you have to park in the OVERFLOW of the self parking lot and walk for 20 minutes.
- 5/5
Wonderful Place
- 5/5
Coming in and out of the property & parking was confusing. Could have just been that it was Christmas Eve and very busy. I would stay again.
- 3/5
The friendliness of staff was great and helped our patience, but we noticed families didn’t have that same luxury
- 5/5
Loved all the Christmas decorations. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Help with luggage both at check-in and check-out was seamless and attendant very friendly. Valet parking attendants were excellent. Totally enjoyed the Riverboat Cruise at the end of our stay.......oh, and the ICE sculptures were amazing!!!
- 5/5
Room was very clean and the service was impeccable. We are planning another stay soon as we were unable to stay long enough to explore everything.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, cleaning staff was great.
- 5/5
Amazing experience and beautiful room with a view
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel very clean friendly staff
- 5/5
WOW!
- 5/5
Exceptional property, superb Christmas decorations, and an excellent resort for a weekend getaway.
- 5/5
All of the above
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
It’s a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay. It’s unfortunate that everything
- 4/5
Nice everything, just too much walking.
- 4/5
The ICE! Charlie Brown Christmas was amazing. Decor in the resort was beautiful!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, lots of variety for restaurants at resort.
- 3/5
Wait time at check in was long.
- 5/5
Great stay clean rooms
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the staff answered all inquiries without issue. The entire facility was well maintained and we’re looking forward to a return trip for the water park. This trip was intended for Christmas festivities.
- 5/5
The staff truly stood out. Friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, they made check-in smooth and were always happy to offer recommendations or help with anything we needed. It felt like Southern hospitality done right. The location was perfect—close enough to the action to soak in the energy of Nashville, yet peaceful enough to relax and recharge. Whether we were heading out for live music, great food, or just walking the city, everything was easy to access. Overall, this stay elevated our entire trip. Comfortable, clean, well run, and full of good vibes. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nashville.
- 5/5
Always an amazing experience at Gaylord
- 5/5
Wonderful room and hotel
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
I didn't see a free breakfast offering. The room was clean & well kept. My only suggestion concerns garbage. We ordered room service for one meal. The trash receptacle in our room wasn't big enough for the dining waste. I also noticed another guest had placed their room service trash in the floor at vending on my hall. It sat there 2 days & was still there when we checked out. The hotel should have trash cans on guest halls for the room service leftovers.
- 4/5
Great hotel , however they charge you for everything.
- 5/5
Very nice boat. Checking in and out was very Efficient. Food was good
- 5/5
House keeping never showed up but the room was very nice and had a great view
- 2/5
We did enjoy the resort events and the breakfast buffet, which stood out positively. However, additional buffet or value-based dining options should be considered. Even though the resort is not all-inclusive, guests would benefit from more cost-effective options that better reflect the price of the stay.
- 5/5
Great Facility. Friendly, competent staff.
- 5/5
All of the above. What a great Christmas experience!!
- 5/5
Great place.
- 5/5
It feels magical at Christmas time!
- 5/5
The rooms were great and everyone was really nice and helpful
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing!
- 5/5
The hotel was decorated absolutely beautiful!! Everybody was so nice and friendly! The rooms were so clean and the beds were so comfortable!!
- 4/5
Beautiful property and close to some great staples to visit while in Nashville. Everything inside the property is so expensive.
- 5/5
The room was spotless the atmosphere was amazing it was more than i expected we had the time of our life we wil definitely go back
- 5/5
The breakfast was great
- 4/5
Room was not worth $500 a night! They had me in a basic little room and the tub holds water in it while you shower! The toilet was not fully emptying when you flush it. My fitted sheet had holes in them when I arrived, but they did come and exchange them for better sheets. I loved the scenery and view of the garden from my room. I didn’t upgrade to have a better view for $99 extra a day! I really think that basic little room is overpriced! The staff were nice and took care of everything in a timely manner. I just don’t think that the Gaylord Oprayland Hotel is worth the hype! I will be staying somewhere else the next time that I go to Nashville, probably the Hampton Inn or somewhere like that because it would have been much cheaper with the same type of room! I paid for luxury at the Gaylord and they did disappointed me with that little box of a room!
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and beds comfortable! Lots to explore!
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Didn’t have breakfast .
- 4/5
Beautiful resort - loved the Christmas decorations. Lots of amenities, but most have an additional charge. Parking should be comped - at least partially for overnight guests.
- 5/5
Gaylord Oprland in Nashville was wonderful with beautiful Christmas decorations. Every staff member we encountered was smiling, helpful, and gave good information with a wonderful attitude. We loved it. The breakfast at The Cacao Bean was excellent.
- 4/5
Breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
Everything was spotless and the room and hallways smelled great! The lines were long for restaurants and coffee shops, etc.... but, it was a weekend so .....
- 3/5
Doors to room were very hard to open, with room key. Parking was 37 dollars a day to stay at their hotel.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the beds and pillows comfortable. There was a mini frig but no microwave which would’ve been nice as they sell delicious looking cinnamon rolls. Our room did had a balcony, but it was at the end of an atrium so the view wasn’t as magnificent as it would have been from other rooms. All of the staff that we encountered were super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. You have to pay for everything including the boat ride around the inside of the hotel. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the plants were amazing. Parking isn’t included and it’s pricey per day considering you are also paying daily resort fees. The self parking was far from our room and the particular area we were in (The Magnolia section) didn’t have a dedicated lot as other sections did. Overall, it was a great stay! Conveniently located to a huge mall and cheaper restaurant options as well. I would like to go back!
- 3/5
When we get off the elevator, we go to the left, but the room number is only go up to 3079 which makes you think you’re on the wrong floor which took a while to figure out. I do not understand that in the least. Also, the hotel has no one in the hotel that actually could give you good directions on the way you’re going instead of walking around in a circle. I love the hotel overall. But what I did not care for as three main restaurants, even though there were tables they were cleaning off would not let you sit at them and still put you on a waiting list to have a reservation. There needs to be someone in the middle of the hotel for directions the maps fine but we still need a person. A concierge may be somewhere in the middle of the hotel for help. M the ring was beautiful. The staff’s friendly amenities are good. But what I listed up above was just a little annoying in the room was expensive, especially when I asked for a view and got large palms in front of my view. Your help in this matter is appreciated
- 5/5
Nice stay.
- 3/5
Beautiful place, but after spending $500+ for a room, I was a more than a little disappointed that I had to spend another $40 for self-parking that was a half mile from the entrance.
- 5/5
Absolutely love the Opryland Hotel. This is like our 5th/6th time going and it never disappoints! Excellent stay as always.
- 3/5
The room costs close to $800 for Saturday night. Though the room was clean and comfortable it was very small and not at all what was expected for this costs.
- 5/5
Yes
- 1/5
Room was very musty and all there computer systems were down. They wouldn’t let us sit together as a party in one of there bar type Resturaunt’s when there was clearly room and not busy. Been so many times but I rather pay a extra hundred or two to go to ritz Carlton.
- 4/5
Fun Experience!
- 5/5
The amenities were superb! The professionalism of the staff, top-notch! The restaurant, Old Hickory Steakhouse was fantastic! We definitely have this on our list of places to stay at whenever we are in Nashville!
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
The room itself was pretty clean, although I had to get them to change the sheets because one of the beds had dried pizza on it the day we arrived. Probably an oversight of the staff. All in all the staff was very friendly, check out and valet was a nightmare. I do not suggest valeting your car, it took us over an hour to get it. The food at the Italian restaurant was not good at all, especially the price! The food at the Cantina Mexican restaurant was great although at a resort tends to be overpriced. Paying $18 for a kids hamburger is a little much.
- 5/5
Room was beautiful, clean and balcony overlooking the interior property was stunningly decorated for Christmas. The grounds are immaculate and everyone was so nice and helpful.
- 5/5
The hotel was so beautiful and clean. Everyone was so helpful!, especially a young man named Mario from Engineering/Maintance. On Friday morning at approximately 10:00 am he gave us excellent assistance in finding our way!
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Checking in was extremely slow. Checking out was great but the Check In, probably as important as anything, started everything off with a dud. I absolutely love the resort and is probably my favorite place but the check in has been so clunky the last few times that I'll just stay somewhere else and just visit the resort during the day.
- 4/5
Too crowded and long lines for restaurants. Guests don’t have priority access to the restaurant.
- 3/5
The tub and sink were very slow to drain.
- 5/5
Always top notch
- 5/5
Expensive but very nice
- 5/5
Exceptional staff (very friendly) and clean rooms as well as the entire resort was clean and decorated beautiful for Christmas!!!
- 5/5
Very fun place
- 5/5
All of the above!
- 5/5
Gorgeous!!
- 4/5
Walls very thin and can hear everything….and as much as you pay the $30 resort fee per day and $37 parking fee per day should be included
- 5/5
Yes!
- 5/5
Amenities, beautiful place
- 5/5
Everything was magical
- 2/5
Check in and check out was not good. Had to wait a very long time.
- 5/5
Magical, almost Disney esque charm to it. No airport shuttle though.
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 3/5
The hotel is beautiful but it allows big groups of teenagers to come inside to use the facilities. This hotel is noisy and crowded all the times. Young people running on the guess’ rooms without supervision.
- 5/5
My stay was pleasant. The property was extremely large with plenty of restaurants and plants. The air was light. People were friendly. Lots of arcades and entertainment for children. The front desk staff was welcoming. The cleaning staff was pleasant and friendly. The restaurant staff was helpful. The room was clean. I had plenty of towels. The room was extremely comfortable.
- 5/5
Would recommend better signs for check in parking. Needs to be a little larger to be seen. Self parking was over crowded and took a long time to find an open spot. May need to consider a parking garage. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and very organized. I would definitely go back to stay there and highly recommend for anyone going to Nashville! ❤️
- 5/5
Inside Balcony view of the waterfalls is awesome!!
- 3/5
rooms were not soundproof / I could hear the person next door urinating during the night. Room was so far from check in! parking was a nightmare. Room was sparse and no robes. At that price, I expected more.
- 5/5
Great atrium garden views from the 3rd floor! We stayed in the Cascades section and slept with our balcony door open to fall asleep to the sound of the water. It was absolutely fantastic! Even though it’s quite busy, the waterfall drowns out the other noise. Can’t wait to come back.
- 5/5
Excellent service, stay and surroundings, employees, and available adventures to do are so much appreciated and will be going back!!! Thank you!
- 5/5
Great facilities
- 5/5
The room was very clean. and cleaned everyday. We missed having a microwave. The bed and pillows very comfee
- 5/5
Very nice room. Bed very comfortable. Upgraded upon arrival for a reasonable price, with view of gardens and Christmas decorations. Blackout curtains great. Monday had very nice breakfast buffet. A little pricey but well worth it. Service excellent. Tuesday late morning was crowded with conference guests, and coffee shop too busy to bother with. Went out for breakfast across street, delicious and no wait, so I recommend more coffee shops in resort for number of guests if you don’t want them to leave for breakfast. Otherwise loved beautiful gardens inside and overall great stay.
- 3/5
So happy the Christmas lights were up, the environment is so pretty! We did have a wheelchair in our group and a lot of the paths were too narrow and not very accessible (someone ended up falling and ended up in the dirt trying to let the wheelchair go by), additionally, doorways were narrow and the automatic door buttons were not functioning, there was staff to open the door when we arrived but we didn’t get that curtesy again after that. As far as restaurants, we ate at two, the sports bar did not cater to women’s sports, telling me they couldn’t accommodate my request to watch an NWSL playoff game due to NFL games, the other restaurant had terrible service, so not impressed by either considering the prices. Will note, overall the food was good. It’s definitely an experience but room for improvement for sure!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 5/5
This was a weekend trip and the property has done a great job in creating a fun, safe, and relaxing environment. Parking was easy and close to the building. We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the Christmas decor. Dining options are nice, some a littler pricey, while others were not. The only negative is that the room did not have a lot of lighting, but the balcony view is highly recommended during holiday season.
- 5/5
Beautiful property helpful staff memorable resort
- 2/5
They are offering free bottled water in the room. Our water was spoiled, my wife got sick, we report it to the management and security, they said they will investigate and send us the report. It is week later, we did not get any report and not even a word of apology. All they offered when my wife was sick was to call an ambulance which we need to pay for.
- 5/5
ALWAYS GREAT
- 5/5
We loved it
- 1/5
Shut the water off without notice during my wife's shower,
- 5/5
Yes, but, due to our table that was in the Sushi bar, by the time I got back to my table, my food was cold. Our tabke was too far from the food
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Standard Marriott quality room within a huge facility with a great many amenities!
- 5/5
Amazing experience!
- 3/5
Better signage for restaurants. Shuttle service was horrible. One Shuttle for about 100 people. We just walked it in the rain. 100 people waiting with one small Shuttle that doesn't start until 6:15 with concert starting at 7. Took forever to find our room. Not many staff folks spoke good English. Hard to understand anything they said. At $600 per night, one would expect better. My last time staying here.
- 3/5
I would not come here again due to high prices that exceed value received.
- 4/5
Beautiful grounds but the food lacks behind
- 5/5
We stayed in the Cascade wing, which was very accessible. The resort was clean and inviting and well kept. Dining was great, with a range of restaurant types. Shopping however was a little disappointing, each shop sold basically the same stuff. Not a lot of boutique or name brand items. Resort felt safe. Good value. Excited to return again!
- 3/5
When down to front desk every morning. They text call about putting card on file. And every time morning the card reader was down again. I have problem walking.
- 5/5
Not enough time in the room, so no need for the upgrade.
- 5/5
Everything was awesome!
- 2/5
The property is way overpriced. With hotel fees and self-parking, we paid over $700 a night for our room. It was nice enough but nothing special. The garden areas are lovely, but the whole venue is loud. Water features are noisy and music is non-stop. There was absolutely nowhere our group of six could go to enjoy a conversation—even in the restaurants. The thermostat in our room was broken. We made multiple calls and it was never fixed. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was small. The garden area had a mixture of live plans and artificial plants that exacerbated my allergies. Warning: if you stay in a garden view room there is very live music until 9 pm. We were there for three days and my head was hurting from the constant noise.
- 3/5
Room needs to be updated for modern day electrical needs. Concierge desk was very helpful.
- 5/5
Amazing staff and service, along with any amenity one could wish for.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Room was spacious
- 4/5
Very very expensive and then added daily service charges
- 5/5
Fun property with everything under one roof. Neat vibe with the atrium and water. Disappointing part was the price for all the food vendors and the water park. There’s just no reason to charge so much. Concierge desk folks were awesome and the front desk was very accommodating with a hiccup we had with the breakfast buffet vouchers. Excellent service.
- 5/5
Beautiful resort, clean and comfy. Staff were all super helpful and knowledgeable about all things Nashville.
- 5/5
Loved it… I will continue to come and visit Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Resort.
- 5/5
Top notch resort. Love it!
- 4/5
This is my 5th time to stay on this property since the 1970s. I love the amenities and convenience to the Grand Ole Opry. I’d prefer rooms in Delta or Conservatory due to walking distance and noise.
- 5/5
The hotel was truly stunning. The atrium was unlike any other hotel I've visited. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We'll be visiting again, for sure.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay especially on the Christmas holidays. Negatives are they charge to park. This alone stops us from staying during other seasons.
- 5/5
Stunning
- 5/5
Parking over Price 37.00
- 5/5
This an Amazing resort and friendly staff!! We loved staying here! Even buffet was delicious!
- 4/5
The fridge in the room was not working. There was ice buildup. The coffee maker needed to be flush. Was nasty inside with lint and other stuff.
- 2/5
When I got up the next morning to take a shower, there was an open bar of soap in the shower that had been left from previous guest with pubic hairs on it. I felt that paying a large sum of money for a room i would have a better experience
- 5/5
Love it!! Beautiful place to stay at. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to stay there again.
- 5/5
variety of restaurants and shopping within walking distance
- 5/5
Everything was great as expected.
- 5/5
Update television in the room. That is they feedback. Everything else was wonderful!!!
- 3/5
We did not like that. They came knocked on our door at 8 o’clock in the morning. And at 9:30 to see if we were ready we said no I’ll check out is at 11 yet. We still went ahead and got ready to get out.
- 5/5
Great property, short walk to the Opry!
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 5/5
It was beautiful with all the plants and the waterfalls. We only stayed 1 night, so we didn’t get to explore much. We will be back.
- 3/5
Hard to find our way around expansive property. Need better signage and maps. Directions to free swimming pools almost nonexistent. Directions the $50 waterpark everywhere. Also notify guests if restaurant closures. We went to eat at Solaris Saturday night and it was closed. Others were there also and found it closed. Resort $$$$
- 5/5
Beautiful place.
- 3/5
The part that I feel was the way you charge fees to your customers. There is very little explanation to what a person will be (unknown to them) paying while at the resort. example: The $30 daily fee.... We thought that if we didn't drink the water in the rooms, we would not be charged. We did not use the shuttle, (there again we thought it was included in the price of our stay). The parking fee that we got charged appears that every time you leave the parking lot and come back in you get charged. We left a couple of times and each time (appears on our bill) got charged. The price we paid for the room (that was superb) should have covered some of the amenities, as so we thought. We had a great vacation but if and when we come back to Nashville we will not be staying at your resort.
- 5/5
It is an experience
- 4/5
Pool and spa good but lounger need updating
- 3/5
I’ve been to this hotel so many times and I was excited to take three friends there for their first time unfortunately this time was a bit ridiculous especially since all my other visits were phenomenal. Started out with walking into the room and someone had a major accident on and in the toilet and it was left there for us to smell and see. A lot of attractions were closed due to a private event and when the private event was over everything remained closed even though no one was there so whole areas of the hotel blocked off. The fountain wasn’t lit up and magical like it usually is. And regarding the disgusting mess in our room that greeted us the staff was not apologetic at all didn’t do anything to make it right.
- 4/5
The overall experience was fine and the staff was great. I feel though the rooms were pretty basic for what we paid. It was also a long distance from our room to the pool. Wish there was more music onsite too.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Having the options of different places to eat. The water falls and the plants were great.
- 5/5
Love alĺ the garden area...Stunningly beautiful 😍
- 5/5
Amazing time
- 5/5
The property is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous waterfalls and fountains. Beautiful flowers. The place is spotlessly clean. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Breakfast and food options could be better. We were prevented from going into the food court area one night because of a convention. We paid $500.00 plus a night. We don't expect inconvenience for that amount of money!!!! There should be no restrictions unless you discount the cost of stays.
- 5/5
Great property and close to Opry and Mills.
- 5/5
The property is beautiful and impressive, but all the shops and restaurants were closed and the room was clean but small. I think the room was overpriced for the experience that we had.
- 5/5
AMAZING STAY
- 4/5
The reception team, concierge team, restaurant team were all excellent. The indoor rainforest/river/waterfalls were epic - it was such a lovely hotel. However, housekeeping was poor our bath wasn’t clean and one day we had to contact housekeeping twice over a period of 6hours to change a bed - the housekeeping fell well below the standard you would expect from such a landmark hotel. Disappointing
- 5/5
Awesome experience
- 5/5
Good for conventions
- 5/5
Only disappointment was the Mexican restaurant in the Magnolia section - burrito was short on meat and sauce wasn't as described, and no chips/salsa included nor were sides with the entree 😒
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Amazing place
- 5/5
Beautiful resort
- 5/5
This place is awesome!
- 4/5
Miscommunication about parking charges, but the issue was fixed.
- 5/5
Absolutely stunning and amazing. Loved the resort!
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
The staff was excellent, the room was great with the balcony view & the restaurants were amazing
- 5/5
It was great. The only thing we did not like was the cost of parking.
- 1/5
It’s by far been the worst experience I have ever had. I bring my family here multiple times a year because my kids love the waterpark. I guess there was some misunderstanding in the communication prior to booking or just these employees not knowing what they are talking about but after spending 500 for a room they tell me we can’t get waterpark passes unless we spend 400 more which is absolutely ridiculous. I live right down the street the only reason we come here is for the water park but let me be honest and let everyone know it’s not worth 500$ and it’s definitely not worth 900$. The customer service has been excruciating. They don’t listen to anything it’s like they are robots the keep repeating the same ignorant things like that’s why your talking to them and you didn’t hear them say it the first 8 times. I will never ever come here again that’s the only GUARENTEE I can give.
- 5/5
Transportation to and from Opry House is needed or if available should be advertised. Having to walk at night , even the relatively short distance from Opry House is Not good and takes away from the convenience.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Everything was perfect the staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Comfortable, relaxing stay!
- 5/5
Inside the hotel was so beautiful, all area covered with natural trees and various types of plants and water running in the hotel.
- 5/5
We attended a wedding and reception it was beautiful Close to attractions uber was convenient
- 4/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Beautiful property with so many dining options! The room was clean and spacious!
- 3/5
Everything at the resort suppose to be cashless, but numerous vending machines were not accepting my credit cards, demanding cash instead. I had to go to a coffee shop to buy that overpriced water. I enjoyed Nashville, but I will not stay at that resort again.
- 4/5
Maid walked in before check out time, very rude!

The experience at this hotel speaks for itself, simply amazing. The enormity of the property can confuse you upon arrival. Read the signs. I got lost and had to exit a parking lot and try again to get to "Hotel Registration". Yep, clearly on the sign just read. The only downfall is breakfast options in the morning. Cascades is open but only buffet. At $30.00, that is expensive for 2 pieces of toast. The coffee shop has muffins and croissants. Just be aware for that meal. The hotel limits restaurant openings based on vacancy numbers. Therefore, it restricts customer options. Not sure I agree with that logic. Yep, only 2888 hotel rooms in the place but you are there for the customer at $400+ per night. Overall, superb one night stay.

We had a great time, loved the location and all the amenities.

Beautiful!

Very overpriced for what the room is. The view was beautiful from our balcony. Staff was not helpful and did not give greetings walking through hall. Soundwave staff was friendly. Workers did not seem to know the basic directions to where anything was located. All the staff seemed as if it were their first day.

Beautiful! Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Nice beds. Lots of food options. Internet is not free. You'll need tip money for bellhop service and valet parking. We had an amazing time! Hope you do too!

For the money we payed to stay here i found it to be not the greatest experience. We stayed here for 2 nights on the first night discovered our tv didnt work in our room we rang and they said theyd send someone. No one came. We rang again in the morning they said they would send someone during the day. Again no one came. After we got back from a day trip again still didnt work, called again said someone would be up to fix it. We went for dinner came back a few hours later rang themagain they said it cant be fixed. Also nashville is going through a heatwave and they shut the outside pool due to weather concerns in the area a quick look on the weather apps all weather in the area had passed hours before. The day before we went to the outside pool to relax have a swim and drink only to find last call was at 3 oclock in the afternoon for the outside bar. Shuttles in the area are useless if you want to go downtown its going to cost you a cab or uber. Most of the selling features that made us decide to stay here fell well short. Once your here its super expensive to eat or drink at the resort. All in all just a bad experience with terrible service from the hotel

Friendly, clean, safe

This is the most beautiful, unique place to stay! It feels like you’re outside, but you’re under a huge dome with heat or A/C. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Our French doors opened to a balcony overlooking a waterfall. The sound was heavenly. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve ever had. Hot, fresh food with tons of choices. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Very dated and didn’t feel the cleanest. There are a number of restaurants in the hotel but most of them were all closed by 8- 9pm on a Friday night. No mention of waterpark being an extra. It’s a nice property but not worth the money.

It took us an hour to find the front door when we arrived. Only one chair in the room for two people. Had to sit on the bed. Overpriced for the accommodations and quality of the room.

Over priced and confusing indoor areas. Would never ever return

This resort is amazing! It is so beautiful inside and so many things to see and do. Our kids were able to walk around, play in the arcades and go to the water park. So many dining options and cute little shops. The staff was amazing as well!

Very nice. Very hard to find your room.

We enjoyed our stay. My one & only complaint is that literally ONE restaurant was open for 3 of the 4 days we were there. We were essentially forced to eat there 4 times, and the menu is decent but not big enough or impressive enough to want to eat there that much. So that part was extremely disappointing.

Te he bed was not comfortable at all , pillows gave us all headaches in the am and didn’t sleep much. Pool area was not bad but inside pool awful and staff rushing us when whole time we were there for an hour.

Our family loved the hotel seven years ago. This time the room felt like a Best Western or Comfort Inn. Those hotels are fine, but we didn’t pay those prices. Over $400 wiyh

Didn’t really want to leave the hotel to explore the city.

The resort was amazing and beautiful and right next to the Grand Ole Opry but I was surprised to find so many of the hotel restaurants not open till dinner - we would have purchased lunch

The resort overall is nice, but the rooms need to renovate you can tell they have been there awhile. We enjoyed the water park. Friendly helpful staff, 5 minute drive to the mall.
- 5/5
Absolutely stellar experience at this resort. Impeccably maintained grounds, exceptional staff, top-notch amenities, and a great variety of spots to dine, unwind, or enjoy a drink. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

very upscale and every staff member was nice, friendly and made me feel special.

Property is so pretty and relaxing

Also we got lost twice trying to get back to cascades when leaving sound waves so maybe better markers would be good, we ended up in “D” area

The Air Conditioning never worked right, on 100 degree heat…night 1, we had maintenance check and turn it down but it never cooled, even with our own personal fans. First morning, called maintenance again and he got it working better, it the halls and elevator were so hot that we sweating indoors. And then we get a note that power would be off for several hours that night for scheduled maintenance. I called the desk and was told our room would not be affected, which was a relief since it took all day to cool our room down. But surprise, we woke up soaked in sweat, no AC even though I was told we would have power and air. Called the maintenance guy again to turn the air down asap but it never cooled off. By mid afternoon we were still sweating and decided to check out early and go home because the vacation was miserable and was getting worse by the minute. With RA and claustrophobia, heat is the enemy, and to make it all worse, the room keys took about 8 tries to access the room, where you are standing on a hot hall, sweating, makeup running, clothing sticking… another hotel would have cost $100/night and provided a better experience. First vacation in years, absolutely ruined.

The property is large and beautifully landscaped inside and out. the rooms are pricey and so are the restaurants but there are good options within a mile of the resort. Unlike Disney World, I saw very few trash cans but no trash. Rooms with a balcony facing the garden conservatory are the best.

The place was amazing, the staff was amazing and the room with balcony was stunning
- 5/5
Nice property. Lots to see and do.
- 3/5
Overall beautiful and staff wonderful. 600 for a standard room one night and 150.00 for appetizers for 4 people ….. way way overpriced
- 4/5
The room was rough and in desperate need of an update. Had the toilet worked on twice and it still didn't function properly.
