Courtyard Long Island City/New York Manhattan View

Room was good size and clean, but they did not have the accommodation I had booked—no explanation or apology, just “we don’t have a king bed.room available”. Also, this location was difficult to see in the daytime from the sidewalk (I took a subway to get there so I approached on foot). The hotel sign is high above the sidewalk facing the street and the only signage at eye level is very small and inconspicuous in the daytime. I walked by it with my luggage three times before going into another establishment and asking where the hotel entrance was. My room on the 5th floor was across from an elevated subway line and quite noisy. But the location was very convenient for my trip.

Very quiet, immaculately clean, reasonably priced, sleek and inviting design throughout with easy indoor parking (even for a vehicle with a car top carrier) make this Courtyard a great find in convenient Long Island City.

My flight got delayed when I called the staff I talked to last April 3, 2026 is rude and did not answering my questions right, I’m in the middle of disappointment of my delayed flight and the hotel staff that I talked to is not helping and for the heater and AC they did not tell us that there is a switch off and on so we stayed for 4 days feeling cold.

The hotel is really accessible to all the points- be it the airport or the various attractions- the metro will take you everywhere. To top it you have convenience stores as well as a variety of restaurant options - so we didn’t starve! The hotel room was clean, very comfortable- the housekeeping staff did a great job in maintaining the cleanliness- thank you. The room itself had everything- right from the bed to the bathroom- no hassles encountered with anything and to top it all the view was good too! So this could be us overthinking but we did notice that the socket near the tv(to the left to be precise) has a lens like thing in it - it looked odd. Like we said it could be us overthinking - hence we didn’t reach out to the hotel staff or create an inconvenience, but it should be checked, just incase. Nothing else that displeased us.

Clean great location. No parking and garage next store was full so that was annoying.

I loved how clean and quiet it was. And proximity to subway with fast access to Manhattan.

I would higly recommend this hotel. The staff were all wonderful especially Lisa. She went above and beyond. We were there for my grandsons surgery. Her kindness and compassion was so appreciated. The hotel is immaculate. They serve free popcorn and cookies and cucumber water in the afternoon which was so welcoming after a long day at the hospital. We will definitly be back.

Breakfast was not free (though I thought it would be), The location is prime for drivers and those taking public transportation. The facilities are clean, well kept. The challenge I had is the parking IS NOT governed by the hotel. As such, I had to travel to a garage up the way to park and float back and forth to retrieve my vehicle.

The hotel does not include parking. Parking garage next door charges $55 a day. Hotel did not bring body lotion or any personal kit.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were all friendly, kind, and helpful. The gym was clean and a good place for exercise. We were in the area for a dance competition and the location was just right. We enjoyed our stay very much. My one complaint was the smell of pot which periodically drifted into our room. That is not the fault of the hotel, but it was troublesome. Again, other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

No breakfast offered. Didnt eat there. Room very small. Housekeeping does not cone every and make beds, give you new towels, empty trash cans and tidy up. One of the days I requested Housekeeping they did wash the sink or counter or tidy up. They only made the beds and left a fresh tiwel. Overall not worth the money I paid. Room extremely small.

Breakfast included Starbucks coffee and several hot sandwich options. Subway and train options were very close which made transportation to Manhattan a breeze. The only downside being that the night trains could be heard from our hotel room. However, we were exhausted, so we still slept great. Needs were comfy and housekeeping kept is in clean linens!

After staying here for one night my girlfriend and I were extremely itchy. It definitely came from the bed. Either it wasn't cleaned or there was something else, like bed bugs. The man at the front also tried to charge us a lot more then the going rate of the room we were staying at. We checked out on our phone with Expedia to save 120 dollars.

I stayed here for one night and the from check in to check out the staff were friendly, helpful! The area was safe and convenient location for travel to williamsburg and other scenes near by.

The “Manhattan View” advertisement is deceiving as my view was across the street into other buildings and the “View” was a mile away that you needed binoculars to see it. Wont be staying there again!

Stayed her for four nights with family, excellent location very close to Queens plaza subway and also close to Queens Borough plaza subway. Felt very safe walking to and from the subway. The downside is breakfast offered in the hotel. It is just bagel muffins etc. So not wise to book with breakfast option. Rather just walk to the Hudson Food Market just next to the hotel entrance. They serve good range is breakfast at very reasonable price. Hotel room was spacious, beds are comfortable and daily cleaning service, bathroom is good size and surprisingly shower water pressure is very high. Hotel staff is excellent. Definitely like to stay in future trip.

I stayed here for 4 nights for a friend's wedding in nearby Brooklyn. This hotel is in a fantastic location at a good price. All the staff here are welcoming and friendly. They are always on hand to give any advice and answer any questions. As it is not located in Manhattan, the price of the hotel is lower than many other hotels of this standard in Manhattan. However, the hotel is just around the corner from Queen's Plaza Subway Station and the E subway line takes you straight into the centre of New York in under half an hour. We used the subway regularly for getting around Manhattan gor sightseeing and into Brooklyn for the wedding festivities. There is also a local supermarket right next to the hotel which is really useful. Overall, this has been a fantastic stay and if ever I return to New York, I would definitely be staying at this hotel again.

I usually dont have a car when in the city but this time i did. It was nice to park downstairs from the hotel though only slightly leas than manhattan costs. It was a nice experience- extremely convenient in terms of public transport.

The room was big, comfortable, clean and modern. I was really happy to stay there and will do so again when I go to watch the Mets.

This was our second stay. The rooms are very comfortable. It was so convenient to subways. The gym has great equipment.

We had the family room which was spacious and perfect and great check in service by Pinki and Mohammed. Parked next door for $55 for the night. Convenient hotel. Kids enjoyed watching the subway trains below.

We loved our stay here with my family very convenient location subway station is literally walking distance felt safe in the area and there is a 24hr food mart next door that’ serves breakfast lunch and dinner that was super convenient specially with kids, staff was very nice Victorio was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely book again

This was such a wonderful place to stay when visiting NYC. There were 2 subway stations within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. There were also plentiful restaurants within walking distance and there was a great market/cafe right next door to the hotel. The hotel itself was incredibly clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic.

This was such an amazing stay! When I walked in the young lady at the counter made me feel like I was coming home to my family after work. She took time to tell me about the area and suggest restaurants, she helped me with subway routes and made mw feel so special. I wrote her name down, but lost the paper. She was working at 2pm, 5/31. The gentleman that checked me out at 5am on 6/1 was super helpful as well. He made sure I had a ride and everything. I will definitely chose this for my next visit. I absolutely LOVE New York! Thank you all for making my stay incredible.

Online description was inaccurate. The floor I stayed in was being renovated and the hallways looked dirty. The room was clean and comfortable. The refrigerator wasn’t working. The front desk didn’t have the best customer service personnel the first night I arrived. No pool, false advertising and parking wasn’t included and it cost a hefty price also false advertising. The online description said parking was included.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. It is a short subway ride to Times Square and other tourist locations but in a quieter area.

I would have maybe given this property a higher rating until they charged me for my "free" wifi. I have been trying to reach the hotel since I received the bill, but they do not respond to communication through Expedia and they only have a local NYC number. Room was nice, bed comfortable. Expensive for the location. Near two subways but neither have elevators if you have luggage even thought the front desk staff told me I was wrong and directed me to a boarded up elevator. Lots of stairs if you have luggage. Very unhappy about being charged for Wifi which says free on Expedia and also free when you login. I've seen other reviews bringing this up and I've never had this issue at any other hotel I've stayed in, including Courtyard properties. Due to this money grab, I would not stay here again.

Oh man what a bad trip. The front desk people are rude and miserable. On one day, I had a fire alarm go off. On the next night, there was a leak or something. The entire hotel hallway was flooded, and the maintenance team was banging around at 3 am.

Arrived late… front desk attendant was very courteous, kind, articulate, intelligent, knew what she was doing… Awesome human being

The room was clean but had an off smell. The windows are not very soundproof and there was a lot of noise from the neighboring train tracks. Beds were comfortable. Very convenient location, easy subway access to Manhattan and an easy walk to Greenpoint/Williamsburg.

The room was comfortable, clean and the view was very nice. It smelled a bit of weed but we opened the window and it went away. The staff was very helpful and professional both the times I went to speak with them. My only observation is the bar area was a bit unattended but other than that I loved it!

This was family New Year’s vacation and we chose this property due to its rooftop garden that was listed. Ultimately, this was the deciding factor, so when we arrived and were told that this location didn’t have a rooftop garden we were very disappointed. Aside from that, everything went well. Everything was clean. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. There were issues with the sink not draining properly but they were resolved fairly quickly. I’d go back for the location alone. Thanks!

It's a good place to stay away from the humdrum of Manhattan. The only con is you have to travel to get into the city for any work. Otherwise, a good place with very supportive staff and standard Marriott experience.

A big issue with water for shower and the wifi was intermittent.

Th hotel had nice frielndly staff. The trin station Queens Plaza was a very short walk, maybe 2 min. Queensboro Plaza wa fairly close. The Huson Market is next door practically. It is a convenience store that also sells breakfast, sandwichhes, burgers, etc. I would stay again

Hotel was very average. It appeared pretty clean but our room had a smoke odor. Had the basics but no frills. Would not stay again.

The hotel was amazing staff was excellent service, the location was very much convenient for me to catch the train a market place right next to the hotel I couldn’t ask for nothing more. EXCELLENT!!!!!

First, we arrived late at night for check in and our reservation was given away but we were sent to another nearby hotel for the night which was an 8 minute walk away to make up for it. It was our first time in NY so I was a little nervous to walk but the neighborhood isn’t too bad (I probably wouldn’t have gone alone but felt safe enough with my partner). We were able to return to the Courtyard the next day. The hotel location is great. It is near subway stations, only a train away from manhattan. There is also a 24 hour food market next door and coffee shop around the corner which was super convenient especially when the hotel restaurant was closed. The room had a nice view, bathroom was small but that was excepted. The side lamps next to the bed did not work but the floor lamp did which was enough. I would stay here again.
