My only complaint is the breakfast - the breads / bagels and eggs were stale and dry. Inedible really. But other than that, close enough to Manhattan without having to deal with city traffic.

Yes. Phone going into emergency mode at 2:30am. Desk clerk said I set it off. I was asleep and across room. Very insulting and condescending, to say nothing of the sleep I lost at being scared.

We’ve stayed here before and liked it so stuck with a great choice we had made previously.

Nice multiple night stay. Clean and comfortable room, towels replenished daily. Polite staff. Good breakfast. Poorly designed breakfast area which caused lots of back ups. Limited on site parking that must be reserved with the hotel for $40 per day-comparable to the garages in the area. Convenient 5 minute walk to the MTA.

Hidden Location of the hotel, even though it was easy to get to the train station and food restaurants, it’s hidden from view and nobody would see it cause it’s not visible.

Staff is pleasant. Breakfast was everything you need. Air conditioning system is very easy to navigate. No sound when it works, and make your desired temperature in seconds.

The hotel is conveniently located to a number of metro stations. The breakfast is free and selection is adequate, although I normally chose to go out for coffee. The rooms on the upper floors are generous in size, and while over the highway, I didn't hear it. The gym is small but OK for cardio and a bit of weight training, though there are 2 that have day passes not far away. Overall good if you need to be in LIC (as I did)

Very nice hotel and breakfast - highly recommend! The room was very clean and fresh, and the staff were friendly and courteous. The parking garage is very small, and we had to find parking elsewhere, so don't count on finding a spot too close.

Parking was full the whole time we were there. We took a chance on a street parking and got lucky.

My room was fine, small, but the windows are not soundproof and I faced the off ramp of the queensboro bridge. So I listened to trucks all night. This was $300 for one Thursday night.

Fantastic sized room for a family of 5 with comfy beds, air con, fridge, ironing board & iron, hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel & conditioner all supplied in the room. The Hyatt Place has the most incredible shower and water pressure I’ve ever experienced. Amazing buffet breakfast included in the price in a lovely dining area which changed every day, Very polite staff although we didn’t require their services much; it felt that nothing would be too much trouble. Transport very easy to access from the hotel too. Would stay here again.

Being a native New Yorker now living in Florida, I came up for an event in the city and needed a convenient place to stay. The location was perfect—so easy to get into the city. The hotel was quiet, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was super comfy, and the free breakfast was absolutely delicious with excellent menu choices. I truly loved my stay and will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

We were very close to many restaurants and travel time to Manhattan, Brooklyn and The US Open in Flushing was just 15-20 minutes via subway. They also had a nice breakfast included every morning

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Long Island City. The staff were very welcoming both on arrival and during our stay. The room was perfect for our family of 5. The breakfast (included in price) was great, hot & cold options available. Located a 5 minute walk from subway and eateries near by. Only minor was the light that came under door at night from hallway. That said, we had a great time at the hotel and in New York, would recommend.

Parking and breakfast are good.

On the morning of my departure, I saw another large bug crawling on the floor on the other side of the room. I contacted the general manager, who insisted a pest control company had inspected the hotel and found nothing. If it weren’t for this issue, I might recommend staying here. But if you care about cleanliness and don’t want to find cockroaches in your room I would strongly suggest finding another hotel.

Just what we needed for 2 days in Queens. Priced lower than Marriott and other nearby brands. Very convenient with breakfast included. Clean, quiet and perfect location for our needs.

We were super happy with our hotel stay at Hyatt Place Long Island. It was an easy bus ride over from LaGuardia with a short walk. The hotel itself was great, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and really appreciated. We were also glad that there were several great food options for late night eats super close to the hotel. The subway is a short walk away for easy transportation into Manhattan. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel might be small but the rooms were big enough for our party of 6 and was clean. The Queensboro subway station was a short walk from the hotel and there was a cute little Taiwanese restaurant called the Gulp that was nearby. All in all we would definitely come back to this hotel. Btw breakfast was your typical fare but was still good and well cooked.

This hotel is very close to a subway terminal, and very close to any destination. We definitely stay again in this hotel.

The staff is excellent. We are allowed to check in 2 hours early. We called ahead and they were able to save a parking spot for us too. The cost of the parking was very reasonable. This hotel is close to the subway station: Queensboro & Count Square. Easy access to the Ball Game at Citi Field & Brooklyn. The free breakfast staff was amazing. They kept everything full and they were very happy. The front desk workers were very nice, accommodating and happy. Thank you for making our stay great.

My 3 kids and I came here for a short trip, as two were attending a local concert at a nearby venue. Our experience was GREAT. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful upon arrival, and as silly as it sounds, that is typically a great indicator as to how family friendly, single mom friendly in particular, the establishment is. The room was perfect! We were beyond impressed with the view and happy with the room accommodations. Checkout was easy as well. Highly recommend! Oh, I almost forgot, the breakfast was incredible!

Despite cancelling my trip in plenty of time, due to an unavoidable fire at Heathrow airport meaning I was unable to fly to be there, this hotel still charged me to stay

I liked the convenience. I didn't like that there was inadequate space to sit for breakfast. The set-up of the food area is poor. There is no flow and plates and utensils are in a poor place, not easily accessible due to congestion around waffle machine. If they were centrally located you could utilize all the offerings.

The location was great. The breakfast was okay. I wish the breakfast buffet area was larger as it gets crowded fast. Other than that the hospitality was great, the staff were friendly and helpful.

It was so easy to get to any other borough of NYC. A quick walk to two train stations and we also really enjoyed a ferry ride into the city from hunters point one day , it felt like living as a New Yorker here, walked the neighborhood at night and felt safe. Hotel smelled so clean and included breakfast was great.

Unfortunately we had a room right next to the elevator and ice machine and it left us with a horrible experience sleeping. If you ever say here and see that your room is remotely close to it, please avoid it at all costs.

Really good location in LIC, surrounded by many good restaurants, supermarket, etc. And just minute walk from many subway lines. A middle place easily travel to Manhattan or inner queens.

The staff is so friendly, the hotel is the cleanest I’ve been to recently, and the location was honestly perfect. There was a market near by and taco place across the street that we ended up going to several times. Also right by a subway station. Haven’t been this happy with a hotel stay in a long time.

This is a great place to stay while visiting NYC. The hotel has easy access to transportation into NYC via subway and bus. It's very walkable and has great eating options around the property. It was a great place to return to after a busy day in NYC.

Amazing experience

It was a decent.

This was a sub-zero degree night and so this was especially hard travelling with children. Upon notifying the front desk of this the next morning, they seemed non-nonchalant about it and offered to have a mechanic take a look and move us if the issue could not be addressed. This whole inconvenience was made worse by the fact that we were offered no empathy or apology for the situation we were in. I would think this would be hospitality 101 but sadly that wasn't the case.

We chose this as it was close to my family's home. It was great and well situated and another hotel had closed up. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The cleaning crew freshened up the room when we would lewve for the day. Great place to stay and will hopefully stay there again in the future.

We truly enjoyed the value of this property and how easy we were able to access the sites of NYC. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were all very friendly.

The free breakfast was amazing and more than i could have ever asked for and it was accommodating for someone with an early meeting in manhattan i was able to grab a "WRAPPED" bagel and wrapped apple and run to get to the subway.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She even asked to help with arranging transportation to the airport for us. The room was clean. The breakfast was great. Close to subway stations. Definitely will return to this location.
