The hotel was good for the money. Breakfast is just cereals, pastries. With flavor, water and coffee. The thing I don’t like is when you book on the website, they’ll charge you for the room and then you go to the hotel they’ll charge you $100 deposit. We the consumer need to know that before we book any hotel. It takes more than a week to get your money back and I stayed in many hotels that they don’t charge a security deposit … Hotels.com needs to do a better job telling the consumer which hotels demands a deposit that way I won’t book in that hotel. .

Please don’t stay here. The photos are catfishing you. Staff was friendly, but the rooms stink and it is not safe at all.

Was a ok place too stay, could have been better for the price

The staff was very friendly. Check in process was easy and the check out was easy. Staff friendliness was the best part of this stay. Area- very sketchy. Lots of activity that looked like drug deals, drug addicts and sex workers. Doors being shut and open all night. Literally all night. I think I fell asleep at 3 a.m both nights. Breakfast included is a little laughable for what was offered. White bread was the only fresh ingredient. There was a toaster- but bread was the only option for it. There was coffee cake hostess individual wrapped. Instant oatmeal and instant grit packs with a microwave. No simple bananas or apples for fresh fruit option. It was questionable to call it a complimentary breakfast. The room- the floors were DIRTY. Like dirty dirty. Those floors dont appear to have been mopped in weeks. The beds did look clean but thats the only clean thing in the room.. we booked through booking.com and didnt want to go thru the hassle of trying to get a refund and try to find somewhere else since this is an area not in our home state. The amount of times we were asked if we wanted to buy drugs was crazy. The noise from cars revving their motors at the red-light was also very loud. When we reserved online- they didnt put any hold on my card. Upon arrival they charged half the stay and then a 2nd transaction to get the total correct. After checkout and receiving my cash deposit back- my account has 2 pending charges- the original total amount of 289 PLUS the first charge i saw which was like 164. So over 400 is pending out of my account for a 289$ stay. Beyond frustrating

The girl at the reception was excellent, helped me and was great! The room was very stuffy and humid even with the air and the pool was not very clean. Room organized clean sheets, but when you open the room it has a strange smell of humidity. Leaving the door open for a few minutes the smell comes out.

Thankful that we had a roof over our heads but won’t stay there again.

The location of the hotel is great. It's a lot of things surrounding the hotel where we can do a lot of things. First thing is we walk into the room, and it smelled horrible. The bathroom smell like it had urine all over the floor and the tub was dirty. The room floor was very sticky and dirty. The refrigerator's and freeze had a very bad smell. The microwave door stop working, and we could not get our food out. (Unacceptable)

Sketchy people. They have people who work in the area stay there and the guy in room next door was following me and my daughter around. He was sitting in parking lot in his truck starring at our room. So weird. The wifi was out for our stay. No TV the entire weekend.

The breakfast wasnt really much. Stale cereal and some sliced bread. The rooms looked a bit run down. Can use some touching up and upgrading.

THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY - KEEP HER. SHE IS THE FACE OF THE COMPANY AND SHE REPRESENTS YOU VERY WELL. 5 STARS. THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE. 5 STARS. OUR ROOM WAS AT THE BACK OF THE PROPERTY. WE WERE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE OTHER GUESTS STAYING BACK THERE. I AM PRETTY SURE ONE OF THE STAFF BEGGED US FOR SOME FOOD. WE WERE PUT BY THE LAUNDRY AREA FOR A TWO NIGHT STAY. IT WAS VERY LOUD AND UNDESIRABLE WITH THE OTHER GUESTS STAYING THERE. THE FLOORS AND WALLS WERE FILTHY. WE HAD TO WASH OUR FEET SEVERAL TIMES.

The noise level was insane. Too close to highway. All the traffic noise and sirens at night felt like you had the windows open. The microwave locked your food in when used. Floor was filthy one trip from bed to bathroom feet where absolutely black that quick.

Nothing about that place was good I didn't think a place charging 150 dollars a night would be that bad. Within 5 minutes of walking on the room floor barefoot our feet were black because it was so nasty. The shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall and the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed. And you couldnt take a bath because the stopper system didnt work at all. It looked the room was painted by children. Also, the pillows were terrible. Nowhere near supportive enough nor were there enough pillows on the beds. On the last day there I got a razor blade in my tire before I even got checked out. It was a terrible place to stay and I will never stay there again

This has to be one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Old, not well maintained, smelly, and never really felt safe the entire time. There were people hanging outside of my room in the middle of the night, talking loudly and some even fighting. You cannot get a decent night sleep because all you hear is the ice machine, the washer and dryer, the police sirens, or the mini fridge compressor in your room kicking on every 10 minutes that sounded like it was on its last leg. There were always people hanging out in the parking lot all night, so I did not know if I would wake up the next morning, and my car would be vandalized or stolen. This was just an all-around bad experience. I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Run down but under renovation. Was advised not to use laundry facilities as the allow the local homeless to use them and it’s dangerous. Was told they advise that I take my laundry to a laundromat. Not worth the money.

We got in late the night before form a flight, and just missed the continental breakfast. The woman working up there ended up giving us some muffins she had left in the back, even though she already cleaned up. She was super kind, and we appreciated that she went out of her way to help us. I did not catch her name, but she was excellent!!

The graveyard shift worker was rude and didn't give clear instructions. He checked us in outside it was cold, wet and rainy at the time there needs to be a better process.we checked in at 2am. Ms.Dolly was awesome, kind, friendly and personal.

The staff is extremely rude. The room was awful. Fridge and the microwave did not work. Lights didnt work in the entire room. Phone charger ports didnt work. -5 out of a scale of 10. Would not recommend this place to a dog

The woman running the front desk the three days we were there was one of the most friendly and happy go lucky employees I've ever met in the hotel industry. The hotel itself is very clean, but the building is also old, got broken parts here and there, and is inevitably a bit dingey in places. That being said, we did not see any bugs what so ever, the linens and surfaces were spotless, and all appliances plus A/C unit, and tv worked. There are stray cats around because it's right next to a gas station where they can get food, and the pool looked super clean. (We did not get in the pool, but it did look very clean). For a short stay i'd definitely stay here again. I will also say there is no left turn out of the parking lot and you have to u turn to get back on the interstate or go left. It is super conveniently close to gas stations, Walmart, and fast food locations though.

A very sketchy neighborhood... dark with suspicious looking people in the neighboring businesses and even in the motel parking lot. Room was basic and relatively clean but very outdated. Hair dryer did not work. Access from the street very complicated. Feral cats were roaming the parking lot.

This hotel is in a sketchy area. The lighting in the room did not work, the air conditioner leaked water on the floor. The breakfast was very limited, the coffee horrible. The one good thing was the shower was easy to turn on and regulate.

The rooms were clean! The AC unit worked very well! The beds were very comfortable! It was a street car noisy but it didn’t bother us too much.

Fridge hadn’t been cleaned, floors we wore shoes because it was dirty & we didn’t want dirty beds. Previous guest hair in shower. At 7:30 am there was 3 pieces of bread out for breakfast and it took 30 minutes to get a new pancake batter and frozen cinnamon bread to be put out after we asked.

For breakfast, only coffee and small muffin.

The room had food, crums, trash, and first appearance as each door to each new room he offered me was more roaches. Every size and every kind. Never ever saw anything like this my entire life. The place needs to be gutted amd shut down.

The property looks nothing like the pictures—I’m not sure where those even came from. You really do get what you pay for. The “breakfast” was disappointing; the only hot item was a pancake machine that churned out rubbery pancakes, and they served juice in tiny mouthwash cups. Our room had roaches and clearly hadn’t been cleaned—there was hair in the shower. The coffee maker was awkwardly placed on the bathroom sink, but there wasn’t even any coffee provided. I didn’t expect much, but I did expect a clean room. This stay was a letdown.

It was very quiet and enjoyable.

It was convenient, quite but rooms are a little outdated, It was not as clean as I would like it to be so I cleaned it myself.

The good is the price was cheap, for the area, and the location is easy to get around from. However, the room was a disaster from having to rig the drapes to close to half completed fiberglass repair on the tub enclosure. We travel a lot, and we do quite a few reviews, it's rare that we would give a hotel ratings this bad unless it's deserved.

You couldnt complain for what it cost. I needed a place to sleep for the noght and get to the airport early the next morning. It worked out great for that.

It was an old hotel. That said it was nice and comfortable. For the price it was it is. Bring your own hygiene products as theirs not good. Typical hotel amenities. Ice machine didnt work. they do have snacks and drinks in lobby you can buy.

The photos are very deceiving. The bath tub had a hole in the middle of it with a tape “repair”. Your feet end up going below the level of the rest of the tub since the floor is not solid when taking a shower, very unsettling. Felt like it could cave in at any minute. Toilet paper holder was ripped out of the wall, had to wipe my feet/socks before getting into bed with all the dust/dirt on the floor, small holes in the wall, overall one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and over $100 a night?!?! Insane.

I Checked Into This Hotel Not Knowing What I Was About To Experience.. First, We Checked Into A Room With Blood On The Bed, A Dirty Broken Shower, The Room Smelled Awful, But Because It Was Midnight My Fiancé And I Cleaned The Room OURSELVES And Went To Bed, Didnt Sleep Much At All Due To Activity Outside Our Room.. Got Up And Left The Next Morning Around 8-9am.. Came Back Around 11pm, Ate Our Food And Went To Sleep Only To Waking Up Rounds Going Off Outside Our Room! When We Finally Looked Out The Window After Cops And Ambulance Arrived, There Was A Blood Trail Outside Our Room, We Sat In Our Room Quiet As Can Be For About 3 1/2 Hours Before We Finally Opened The Door And Asked If We Were Safe. The Hotel Did Not Check On Anyone Or Let Anyone Know What Was Going On. The Cops Told Us It Happens All The Time And That This Wasn’t His First Time. He Assured Me That I Would Be Safe To Try To Get Some Rest Before Leaving Because He Could See The Exhaustion And How Terrified I Was All Over My Face.. He Assured Me That If It Made Me Feel Better He Would Infact Escort Us To Our Vehicle If We Wanted After We Rested Enough To Drive Safely.. By Morning The Cops Were Still There And We Felt Safe Enough To Walk To Our Vehicle. As We Got To Our Vehicle We Realized The Cops Were Taking A Report For A Girls Car Being Shot, As We Were Loading Our Vehicle My Fiancé Noticed Casings Right Under Our Car And Some Blood On The Side Of Our Car, But Guess What We Get No Refund Either,I Will Push This!

This hotel left us feeling very uneasy. Both days/nights there were numerous police activity in the area. I asked front desk and was told that was normal. Sunday morning we were woke up by the fire alarm going off at 5am. Police and fire came to the hotel. No i formation from management was provided. I did my own investigation of the property to determine if there was a threat. I saw no smoke or fire but the alarm sounded for 25 minutes...and again no mention from management. I know the saying is, you get what you pay for... this experience was horrible. My small grandchildren even made the remark that they thought we would get bed bugs. I did check, no bugs. However the room smelled so strong of chemicals. I have been traveling for years and i usually go on reviews. This time as well. Do not beleive the other reviews. This place was a literal dump and saftey was a concern. One of the worst places I have ever been to. Also you are 20+ miles to Charleston or the beach.

This place is great if you are a murderer, rapist, drug trafficker, or just blatantly insane. Other than that have a great stay there

While we were checking out we notice cops around and blood all over the ground near our room. Turns out someone was shot at the hotel. Never again will I stay there.

Room was decent and affordable. Nothing fancy about it. Pretty busy hotel. Lots of guests; possibly long- term guests. Located near busy interstate exit. Heard lots of traffic throughout the night!

Breakfast was a not the best, muffins were stale, milk warm and pancakes were more like crepes. For the price it worked for what I needed.

The “continental breakfast “ consisted of picked over miniature muffins, watered down juice and cream/milk and do it yourself quick cakes and waffles.. It was awful and if there were option to give 0 starts .. that would be my rating.

When i checked in the police had already been called on the property. The rooms are old and falling apart. The toilet seat was broken. The bath fan was broken. The dresser drawers wouldn't stay closed. Huge gap under door. Just worn down.

Just needed a place to lay our head. Everywhere in town was triple the price. When I read the reviews and reviewed the price I was a little skeptical however Rahul at the front desk was very pleasant and showed us a true southern welcome. It was not the best spot in town of course but his welcome made it the most pleasured. It was tucked away (the property) but close to everything. The room was not the “most” sanitized but it def gave a safe place to lay our head.

Great service from the front desk team. Room was a bit disappointing in that it showed its age. Doors were dirty and corners not clean. Tiles in shower were mildewed and ceiling fan filled with dust. Again, compliments though to the front desk team. They were responsive and answered all enquiries promptly.

This was the most horrible stay I’ve ever been. When we got there we did not stay more than ten minutes before booking another hotel. The lock on the door was securely latched, the hotel was dirty and had damages to the walls and doors, there were a ton of people outside fixing cars and drinking. This was such a scary experience and would not suggest anyone traveling from out of town to stay. The pictures on Expedia was not at all what it looks like in person. Hoping I can get a refund.

It was alot better than we expected for a 250 dollar 4 night stay booked last minute. Very lenient as far as rules and whatnot. We enjoyed it.

There were guys loitering and smoking outside the rooms and one asleep on the pavement, leaving their cigarette butts on the walkway. They were polite and let us pass to get to our room, but it made us feel uncomfortable. Inside pole lamp was leaning, the light between the beds had no bulbs, the fan vent was loose and leaning out from the wall, the TV remote had no backing. However, the linens and towels were clean and the bed comfortable. For a quick overnight stay it was okay and very reasonably priced.,.

It was very hard to let the chief staff at the lobby understand why he should not asked the customers out of sofa or any chairs or use the sitting area at the front lobby just because he liked the front lobby to be empty and clean during the business hours???? Plus, the room is very dark and out of care, the pool area where has chairs was closed. It was the most negative service person that my family had ever encountered. very very unprofessional and should not be in service business.

The room was dirty. The remote was missing the battery cover. There was gum stuck to the floor. The gum had been there for quit sometime it was black. Our room was in a corridor so you could hear everything. We wanted to use the pool and could not because they closed it early. I’m sure glad we were not sleeping in since there was so much noise by the hotel staff in the corridor.

There was clearly uncleaned vomit and vomit stains on my bed's frame and nearby end table. The manager said he couldn't do anything about at the time, but even upon telling the cleaning staff the next day, it still did not get cleaned. I had to spend another night in the room in that condition. Also, my window view was just of a utility closet and a trash can and no daylight. Horribly depressing stay. AirBnB for me forever now.

The site is conveniently located near an interstate exit but the property desperately needs an update. The bathroom door did not close and the walls were dirty. The grout around the tub and sink was missing in spots. The stairway and outside halls were dirty and the metal was rusty. The breakfast was very minimal with limited seating in the lobby breakfast area
