I am short, 5' 1". I had much difficulty getting into the very tall bed, The facial tissues were out. Other than those things, the hotel was fine.

We stay here every year for our trip to windrock. Its always clean and they are very trailer friendly and allow you tompaekmin grass if needed. Good place to stay.

Dave at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Breakfast severed every morning was well stocked and maintained. The location was convenient and easy to get to with plenty of parking. Our first room was missing trim with peeling molded wall paper. Second room updates were very poorly executed. Side of bed outlet was not working and I had to move side table to be able to plug in CPAP machine. The bathroom was too small and not very clean. The shower head was so low I couldn't stand under it properly.

The hotel was close to several different restaurants and a movie theater. Also the hotel was walking distance to several museums we wanted to see The breakfast was very good. The person had ver the breakfast was very helpful. I would stay there again.

I stayed there one night. Not much to report on. It was clean. Staff was friendly upon check in.

Bathrooms have to be updated, the hotel room floors have to be cleaned, don’t put two twin beds together to make a king size bed (not comfy), and the elevator has to be cleaned from time to time. If it wasn’t for the price - I would not recommend.

Desk clerk was friendly, we had to leave early so we didn't have breakfast. Hotel had a great layout, great amenities. Parking was perfect. Room was very clean.

The rooms are clean, bed comfortable, and it’s quiet - slept very well. The room we had 424- needed a bit of freshening and the bathroom door stuck on the floor so it would not open or shut all the way. The tub ran slowly - probably needs a little attention. One gripe I do have is there are NO towel bars at all in the bathroom. Why? There is plenty of unused wall space - good thing I brought my own!

The facility is like lipstick on a pig. Floors were uneven, bathroom door did not close. Workout room was none existent, a treadmill, a few dumbbells. When the hotel was ranked excellent and cost $150 for a week night. Definitely not worth the stay.

Nice staff who carried on conversation with me every time I walked in the lobby. Overall I would stay here again next time I stay in Oak Ridge.

The Breakfast was excellent, great presentation and the food was delicious. Bev Cornell we met at breakfast and she is very congenial, offering to help and keeping everything clean and plentiful. Nice Job. The shower and toilet were a little hard to navigate, next time I’ll probably request disabled.

Toilet was mounted out of square and seat didn't fit bowl. Show would not drain. Shower head was insufficient and tub would not drain. Breakfeast was good.

Nothing to like. The door didn’t close, no baseboards, no hot water, tile floors were moving etc.

It was ok hotel for money...there a lot rust in bathroom...but everything worked ...bed was nice but was so high I had use a foot stool to get in the bed ...

The room was clean though the common areas were a bit shabby. There was a group with a lot of high schoolers there and they were very loud, both in the lobby and the halls. The room smelled a bit musty, but after a while I didn’t notice it as much (not sure if that was because I cranked the air conditioning or that I got used to it). The bed had a definite dent in the mattress and I had to shift my position to get comfortable. Not a great stay, but adequate for my purposes

Cooking odors in the hallways, as if someone living on site. Room in slight disrepair, some incomplete patching after renovations, AC in our room did not work. Water did not remain hot through shower.

Great stay, a little noise from the road and other guest but not too bad. I'm staying there again this weekend.

Would have given 5 stars but the heating and air-conditioning was very noisy. Booking stated room with a view. My room was looking at the roof.

We had booked 2 nights, after the first night the next morning we received a call that a tree had fallen on our house, we went tk front desk to check out was told they would refund the second night haven't done so. Will not go back to this hotel

The room was fine...clean and everything worked. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful......but the elevators werent working so had to take the stairs. Also not sure what was up, be it renevations or general construction but several rooms on the first two floors at least were clearly out of commission and had what looked to be industrial blowers in the doorways leading me to think there may have been a plumbing issue. This hotel met my needs but inwould not have booked if i had known this in advance

Bev at breakfast was the best!! Food was great. Room was comfy but first room had big issues. We were transferred and it was better. New room cable connection was duct taped. Had to jiggle it and then we could watch tv. Otherwise, it was a good stay and we'd stay again, especially because of Bev.

Bev, the lady at the breakfast buffet was excellent and so friendly. We looked forward to seeing her each morning. We had to change rooms because the bathtub faucet was leaking terribly and the cable box was out of the wall. The 2nd room had duct tape around the cable and we had to jiggle it to get tv stations. The front staff was average. Air conditioning was okay. We've stayed a few times and this was the worst stay so far, other than Bev the breakfast worker. She made our day.

The property isn’t in good condition. Some areas of the floor have tape holding the floor down. The room we stayed in was not in good condition. Missing outlet/cable covers. Loose toilet and furniture in disrepair. Very small room. Bathroom door doesn’t close without effort. Pillows were squares not comfortable. Honestly had there been any other rooms in town we probably would have left. The town is nice and clean but this hotel doesn’t match. We come to town frequently and usually stay somewhere else but they were fully booked.

Spent 4 night there to visit family. Clean hotel. Comphy beds and staff great. Close to everything.

The hotel had been refurbished and looked very clean, spacious, and modern. The beds were comfortable and the TV was easy to use. The AC worked but was kind of loud. The bathtub plug did not seal so the bath leaked but was usable with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent with a very friendly and efficient worker running it.

We enjoyed our stay, very clean and we was able to relax and enjoy our get away.

The pool wasn't open unfortunately. They close in September not October so that would need to be changed so people don't get confused like we did

The pool was green , Sign that said closed. The area that eld the lights between the headboards was broken and fell several times during our stay . Room 504. it was unacceptable and I am very upset that Expedia endorses this hotel

The physical plant needs updating and renovation

The rooms were nice and the building was quiet. The staff was very nice and attentive. The breakfast had many options. Bev, the attendant at breakfast, was very kind and efficient. Adequate parking. Would stay at this hotel again.

Check-in went well and the hotel appeared to have been recently remodeled.

I reserved wrong room on 5th floor. The smell of curry was so strong. They moved us to 2nd floor smell wasn’t as bad but overall the place is an old dump. Smelly dirty.

All staff was ver helpful & nice. The room was clean & comfortable & spacious, liked the daily cleaning & fresh towels. Breakfast was very good, had a goid variety to meet anyones taste. The beds were too high for our mother to get into bed. They provided a plastic stool to help her get into bed.We had a wall hanging that was cracked above the toilet, it should have been replaced. There was a plastic bag over the smoke alarm. The hotel needs to do a few updates.

We visited the Oakridge area on a misson to see what was known as the automic city during WW2. This hotel was located close to everything we wanted to visit. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast had a good selection and Ms. Bev was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our food. We played in the pool and used the exercise room during our stay. The room AC unit was a little squeaky as it cycled off initally, but seemed to quieten down after a few cycles. In all fairness I didnt mention it as a problem. It worked itself out. Otherwise, the room was very clean and comfortable. We were conveniently located to shopping and all the historical sights. I hope to come back to the area and would definitely stay again.

What sets this location apart is the breakfast and the lady running it….Bev. The food was good, plenty of it and it was clean and organized. Good coffee, too. Well done. Probably never be back there again but we would stay there again.

WATCH OUT FOR THE BED! We stayed in handicapped room. The bed height was over my waist and I am 5 ft 3 in. I had to use a stool to reach the bed.No way someone in a wheelchair could access the bed. Not handicapped compliant. The bathroom shower area did not drain properly so that much of the room got wet when taking a shower. Paint was peeling off in affected wall. Overall staff great, property safe, but the whole property could use an update AND new beds!

Property is somewhat dated. Very convenient area for many things in oak ridge.

When I initially booked reservation for 2 nights, both were to be on the first floor. I didn't appreciate being put on the 2nd floor on 7 July. Also, customers key card should not been deactivated until check out, not beforehand.

The tub leaked water. Every couple minutes, you could hear water drip. Bathroom was also pretty small for a 'suite'. Things were tapped up in the room. An elderly Indian guy roams the top floor hallway every morning, which was kind of weird. Elevator was super slow. Being on the 5th floor, it took at least a couple minutes to reach the 5th floor. Breakfast always smelled good, but never made it down in time to try it. Ice machine on the top floor runs, but I never got any ice to come out. 3rd floor ice machine didn't work. 1st floor ice machine was fine. Neighborhood was fine. Never had any indications of anything bad. Plenty of parking. Overall, not a bad place, but just a smidge rough around the edges. For the money, pretty easy to recommend.

Traveling with families with several small children. The staff was helpful and friendly at the breakfast and very accommodating. Pool was especially nice for young children.

We were on 4th floor so it was nice and quiet. Bed was comfortable but too high for me. I'm 5'1". The cover had stains which was off-putting. Shower had great water pressure. TV was a nice big screen.

Man this place has gone downhill. I used to stay here every year for an event in town. This year will be the last year here, as the property is dated and dirty. Really in need of repair. Avoid this property if you can.

I had a wonderful stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's location was ideal—close to shopping centers and a variety of restaurants, making dining and shopping convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay.

AC was extremely loud making it hard to sleep.

Rooms are a little run down. Peeling wallpaper, beat up drywall, and rust stains in tub. Shower didn’t work had to be moved to another room. Toilet was lose from floor. Breakfast good.

The main thing was that after four nights I never got the promised wakeup call (I was getting up at 5am and my alarm wasn't always waking me) and, despite the fact that the last two nights the desk clerk left a note with my cell number to tell his replacement my room phone wasn't working. I could not even call the front desk with the room phone.

Decent spot, swimming pool looked nasty. Parking was tight.

It looks like it’s in need of some rehab once you get into your room. AC never seemed to really cool and never turned off or cycled. The bathroom is what seems to need some rehab. Horrible caulking all over the place. Simple fix a new diverter valve is needed (less than $5 at Home Depot) the temperature valve was installed backwards.

The lady in charge of breakfast is fantastic. The place is a little rundown, but not enough to cause a problem. The only thing I’d say is urgent is to get some working ice machines.

The front desk folks were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical. The bathroom in the room was the biggest negative. The drain was slow, and the shower diverter did not work properly, so the shower pressure was mediocre. There was only a night stand in one side of the bed, which was inconvenient.

Some rooms were being worked on. We were given a room that had no light switch to turn off headboard light and phone was not working. Staff immediately helped cover the light and assigned us another room for the next day and duration. Staff was excellent especially the women who was in charge of breakfast. Very friendly and helpful.

The room had a bug probably because of its uncleanliness. The staff was rude and didn't resolve any issues. The hotel had open circuit boxes in the room and was overall in poor condition. The toilet constantly ran and the hot and cold water were reversed. Please don't stay here even if it's free for you.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very courteous and competent. Owever, the access to the parking lot was "odd" at bet; terrible at worst. No signage to indicate entry to the parking lot. Ingress and egress was difficult

Nice stay. Very friendly staff. However my bathroom floor in room 326 was in dire need of replacing. The floor felt very weak and sounded like it was very rotten underneath.

The hotel was in the midst of renovation with stuff sitting everywhere. Not real welcoming to come into a hotel filled with boxes and construction debris.

The hotel is currently being remodelled, but it didn't hinder my stay in any way. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was good!

Terrible stay. Renovation in the hotel leads to dust everywhere. No mention of this renovation on the website. Bed bug (or tick) in my bed leads to antibiotic prevention treatment.

Staff was very friendly and even though the property was going through some renovations everything was still clean and an overall enjoyable stay.

There was still some remodeling going on. But otherwise, it was quiet and clean! And comfortable!

We had to change rooms a couple times due to plumbing and a/c issues. The bright spot was Bev! After coming out of retirement she is working there and was bouncing between the front desk and running the large breakfast area. She is a huge asset to the hotel. Overall, it was okay, conviently located.

This property was fine, average. There was no hot water in our shower Saturday, the door latch was broken, and there were cleanliness issues. But nothing SO bad. Breakfast was good.

We have stayed at this particular hotel a few different times because it is in a convenient location for us as we frequently have to travel to this area, and it is much more affordable than other nearby hotels. It is a bit dated, but it is still very comfortable, clean, and always a good stay. The breakfast buffet is great. The employees have always been friendly. We will definitely plan to stay here again next time we are in the area.

Parking lot could be cleaned up a bit from trailers in parking lot. I’m not sure the reason, maybe there are construction pieces in them for a face lift that has been long past due. Nice and convenient stay in Oak Ridge. Very friendly staff and decent rooms. However, they have LED strip lights on top of the headboards that have no way of turning off. I called front desk 5 times with no answer and went downstairs and no one was there. I flipped every light switch, pulled the bed away from the wall and unplugged every outlet, yet the bright light still remained. I had to sleep all night in a very bright room which gave me a terrible headache the next day. This was very frustrating. Other than the light, the hotel was good and worth the daily rate. GET RID OF THE LED STRIP LIGHTS (or at least give us an option to turn them off).

The carpeted hallways smelled musty, but the remainder of the hotel smelled heavily of Fabuloso. Our room had dirt, dust bunnies, and coins on the floor. The dresser had a powdery substance. We immediately checked out and asked for a refund. We did not look at another room as suggested by the clerk, so our first night was NOT refunded. We were able to get the second night refunded. I would not recommend.

Property was being remodeled. I'm ok with that and understand. However there was fresh plaster over most of the walls that was dry but never painted. The toilet was uneven so when you moved, you almost fell off of it.
