I booked this and was quoted $425.26, confirmation 5264917673, PIN 8939. When I checked out she did not give me a receipt but said it would be sent to me by Booking.com. I recd the receipt which is for 492.00+.!!!. I have been overcharged. Please credit the overage back to me immediately.

Great location but it is being remodeled and a lot of dust and some noise. Cleaning crew left our room open all day while we were gone, thank god nothing was missing. We reported to front desk and they advised that it happened to be because door needed to be adjusted to self close…

They are remodeling now so it is going to be dusty and noisy. My room was just fine, but the public areas were busy with workers. I will stay again, but just a heads-up of what to expect.

This hotel is very nice. We had a king double room. Very large, well equipped and in good repair. Only slight mark down is for the construction (painting) that was going on. I would stay here again a without doubt. Great stop for two nights while watching a concert in Knoxville. Staff were excellent and friendly.

The refrigerator in our room was completely frozen up and not working, so we had to call and have it swapped out after we had already settled in. In addition, the side entry door from outside into the hallway was not secured at all—anyone could walk straight into the building, which raised serious safety concerns. To make matters worse, the hotel had construction going on during our stay. The workers were loud throughout the day, and there were cigarette butts left all over the property even inside. Overall, the experience was frustrating and not what we expected from a hotel stay at a Double Tree.

I booked 3 rooms so that my family would be together. We were on different floors! One room smelled like carpet glue. We were not aware that the property was undergoing major renovations. I chose to pay at property but when we checked out we were told it was paid in full since my parents and in laws were in 2/3 of the rooms and were going to pay for theirs at the hotel. They could not provide a receipt because we booked through Expedia. When I looked on my Expedia account, it said since I was paying at the hotel, a receipt would be provided at the hotel. It was not. I am waiting to see if my credit card will be charged for all 3 rooms or one. I’ve never had this issue before. Overpriced for quality of stay while under renovation.

The hotel is under renovation and we were NOT told about this until we got there. Scaffolds everywhere, workers working, hammering, drilling all day oh and painting walls. Super loud and not safe really! I would never stay there again!

The location is great. The vibe of the hotel was just right. Room was spotless and employees attentive to our needs.

We have been here multiple times. It is currently under renovations. We rented 2 rooms; one for us and our parents. Our parents had issues with their electrical in the bathroom first day. We had issues with our toliet the second day and were told it was leaking into the room beneath us. Seems like contractors were not up to par. Would not come back unless changes were made. All staff have been wonderful with everything and very accommodating!

Everything, the bar was closed but I really wanted a drink before I had to check out and they were so nice they made it for me and put it in a to go cup!!! Bar wasn’t open early and I needed to checkout and leave before it opened which kinda sucked

The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. However, I purchased the breakfast with my reservation, and the front desk clerk assured my husband at check in that it was taken care of. This morning, the staff was very rude to my husband when he went to breakfast because he didn't have a ticket (none was provided at check in). He had to go to the front desk with the waitress to be able to be served breakfast. And the waitress continued to speak rudely about my husband within his hearing throughout his meal.

This is my favorite place to stay. Our 5th time. Close proximity to everything. Wonderful breakfast & happy hour-3 cocktails & Buffett all included. You just can’t beat that! Your nicest hotels often don’t include any perks like this, The Drury does! I always recommend it to anyone who asks!

I got my back thrown out and we could not attend the Knoxville event. I did call the hotel and let them know and also I sent a message to Expedia.

Maid service didn’t restock the coffee creamer etc as expected.

Rooms smelled moldy and bathroom smelled like wet dog. Tub was dirty. I stood at the bar for about 5 min and the bartender never offered to help, so I walked off. I reserved two rooms. Both were cleaned and turned around before 11 as we were at breakfast. We came back to one of the rooms with a stripped bed and housekeeping and the other had been flipped for the next guest, even with our belongings in both rooms. The front desk was very helpful and the location was convenient for our event location.

It’s a terrific property and I highly recommend it particularly for the banquets. They prepared meals for the Fireball Run Adventurally and it was the finest steak I’ve ever had that was served to massive amounts of people delicious and perfect.

We went to windrock for a day of riding. Stayed here overnight to get an early start for the next day. We decided to go to the pool and it was excellent! Warm water, very clean, and indoor/outdoor which was very cool. Loved it!

Front desk clerk was very nice. Warm delicious cookies at check in .The room was very comfortable and clean. Rooms are very quite and relaxing. We will definitely stay here if we are in the area again.

Room smoke detector had a quarter inch of dust on it! Saw a roach in bathroom and tv did not work plus room was very noisy due hotel construction! Very disappointed.

Due to renovations the handicap rooms were located at the very end of long hallway and were noisy.

Meals eaten there were well prepared and very ample in portion size. Excellent coffee. Very nice staff. There was no discomfort with the bed. Actually it was quite nice. I am planning multiple trips to the area and will be staying at the Double Tree Oak Ridge.

I enjoyed it's an older hotel that has kept its personality. The rooms are all upgraded however with modern fixtures and very comfortable beds. Really enjoyed my 3 nights here. Very clean, friendly staff, would stay again.

Very clean, friendly fast service. The whole hotel is very 1980s, but retro is in, right? It’s was kind of fun! The only thing that was a negative was the outdated air conditioner. Our room was humid and it didn’t get as cold as we’d like.

The staff was great, kind and helpful. Even though the property was a little older, it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the bar and it was delicious.

The shower door was loose and previous wet areas were visible on ceiling and on bathroom walls. Someone had punched a hole in the wall and defect was still there. Toilet was too low to the ground to be safe.

Fire alarms were pulled early morning around 6:30 and again around 10 very aggravating for a late sleep in.

The hotel is very quiet and the front staff is super nice. The surrounding area has many restaurants within walking distance. It is not a brand new hotel so things are as good as they should be. Breakfast was not included. The built in restaurant is nice.

Employees were friendly and accommodating, the pool was fantastic, the breakfast food was very good. Special shout out to the housekeeping staff on our floor. We never asked for the room to be serviced, but they were always very friendly and engaging. The location is great, and the on-site restaurant was completely reasonable and the food was very nice.

There was no communication about breakfast so my son didn’t get anything to eat in the morning after our extremely brief 7 hour stay. The room had trash in it when we checked in & the door in front of the mini fridge was broken. Overall a very underwhelming experience & far to expensive for the quality

We did not go see a doctor because it was just a bad flu and we didn't want to spread it to my 92 year old mom so we could not go. The trip insurance that i purchased did absolutely no good as it needed proof from a doctor. I truly messed up in booking a non refundable room which is not your fault but life does happen..

Overall, I didn't really care as I was too tired to. Luckily, the bed linens and mattress protector were both clean and you could smell the detergent on them, so I just slept one night and got out.

Like most Double Tree properties, this one was old, tired, and in desperate need of an update. Smelled bad, needs so much that maintenance just isn’t enough. Time to call it a day.

This made us grossed out and unsure how clean the rest of the room could be and the bedding. So we went down and showed photos and were given a new room. The lady at the front desk was nice but did mention how housekeeping was busy and had to turn rooms quickly. I stated that I understand it’s busy, but that’s not an excuse for cleanliness issues. We pack back up and move across the hall to a new room. Upon opening the door we hear a weird noise and it’s coming from the ac unit. It will not operate properly when adjusting it and continues to make a horrible noise. So, back down we go and now we are given another room. The third room seemed to be cleaner and had a new ac unit. We unpack again and relax. We noticed was there are no bathroom vents to run while you shower so it steams up fast and everything gets wet and/or very damp in there. The water also comes out of the shower head very hard and hurts when you’re showering, to the point where you cannot wash your face in the shower. The shower drain didn’t drain well at all so you’re standing in water. This wasn’t a horrible stay and the front desk staff was nice, but I would not choose

Just a little note tucked in key card to day no towels or maid service of any kind for four days unless asked. When I did see little note and called , I had to go to front desk to get towels and mostiurizer because lotion bottle was empty. Also told hotel did not provide glasses in the room when there were glasses in the room. Just wanted clean ones for second day. The restaurant personal were very friendly

Property is in need of an update- smells musty, reds an overall freshen up. Our first room had a dirty toilet, so we moved to a second room which was clean.

It is an older hotel. The lobby looked nice with all the plants. The room we had very humid and no pictures on the wall. It was clean though and that says a lot. Price wasn't terrible probably due to it being an older property and no breakfast.

We love the DoubleTree in Oak Ridge. We stay with them every chance we get.

Lots of little things kept this from being an above average property/stay. Noisy bathroom door, whistling toilet, moldy looking caulk around tub, and broken soda machine on the floor. The front desk clerk was on her phone and sitting out of my view in a corner area when we walked up. Waited a few minutes before walking around and noticing where she was and had to get her attention. Breakfast was very good, but didn't have a chance to eat dinner there. View outside was nothing special, but the main lobby was nice. Room was average.

They were very accommodating to us, and changed our roomat no cost because we had a disabled person in our party and the original room had a tub that we couldn't make work. They changed us to a walk in shower with a shower chair.

I was in town for a work event the following day that was being held at the Roane State Community College. Staff were upbeat and welcoming during check in. The room was very comfortable. I enjoyed the pool which was quite nice. We had dinner in the restaurant. The food was good and the service was excellent. There was plenty of parking and the location is in a convenient area with many things nearby.

I was at the Doubletree for an event, which included a banquet. The food was good, and the service was excellent. My friend ordered the vegetarian option and was surprised to receive a lovely pasta dish with red sauce and vegetables. The hotel is very nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Exceeded my expectations.

For quite some time. The conditioner was out that they had in the shower stall completely. There was garbage and dust and dirt on the carpet and crumbs from the previous person and it look like dog food which was really disgusting. I couldn’t get comfortable with shampoo, stuck in my hair I never got all of it out in a panic I left it in. In the morning I got to find two coffee cups that have been used and set back over by the coffee maker like they were new. It was even more appalling. My pillow had hair on it and it wasn’t mine. It was the worst day I’ve ever had at a Hilton , I’d like my money back I didn’t get to use the shower I couldn’t sleep it was just horrible

I'd have to say just an average hotel. One trash can in the whole room and it was a tiny one in the bathroom. Not very many tv channels, alot of debris in the pool, room felt like a hotel cortez vibe. Bed was comfortable and big. Good bed sheets. Good pillows. Clean. Couodve spent 10 more bucks and went to the hotel across the street and had free breakfast just as clean.

Room was clean and staff was very nice. There was a tiny bit of water damage on the ceiling but that was it. No complaints. The water pressure in the shower was AMAZING!

Everything was up tp par for this level of hotel. My only complaint is the internet was out of service during my entire stay. This is a big deal when traveling for work. I know the staff was trying to work on it. However it did not appear to be getting the attention and expertise an issue like this needs.

Excellent staff & room was very clean!

The hotel was mostly pretty nice. The pools were disgusting though, filled with algae. I chose the hotel because they had 2 pools, and I couldn’t swim in them they were too dirty.

I chose the Double Tree because of past experiences. It appears this hotel was built 30 years ago and that's it. The restaurant on site is in desperate need of updating. Half of the decorative light bulbs were burnt out. They still have warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival. After that it's a tremendous disappointment.

Breakfasts, while not free, were good. Nice selection for hot and/or cold buffet. Parking free and easy. Unfortunately, our room was not comfortable. The pillows were as hard as sandbags, and the bathroom tub was made for giants😊 also, the toiletries were itsy-bitsier than most hotels of this size.

Stayed 7 days. Our trash was picked up twice and we had to ask. Found old used wash cloth hanging on shower rod. Been there a while since it was dry and crusty. Service in restaurant was slow.Becauseof regatta in town that weekend room was almost $300/night. Not worth it.

It’s decrepit. We paid $423 per night. Ashes on the pool patio. Dirty room. No room service because staff said, “they were at capacity”. They came after we had to request cleaning and they skipped us because we did not ask: $423 per night. My son’s room had 2 feet of water of water on the floor around air conditioning unit. The red sofa in the waiting are had black arms. The lights outside say, “Doub. e Tree”. The staff is very nice. The staff has no control over the state of the condition at the hotel! Paris herself would stay at the hotel across the street! Gross!!

Pool was closed with lights hanging out of the walls. Room was just okay. Service in the lounge was horrible and food was not very good. Under staffed for being sold out for the whole weekend. Marked up $70 a night due to the local event. Not worth the amount per night. I will not stay in this hotel again.

Disappointing for the price and previous double tree stays. Front desk employee was annoyed to have to check us in. Bathroom had hair in it and didn’t have any hand soap. Fridge had leftover carrot sticks and guacamole from previous guests. Could have been worse, but our stay was overall below average.

Staff was beyond friendly! So helpful! Carmen at the front desk went out of her way to help us! So kind!! The facilities were a little dated. The room was small and dated but the staff was 100% amazing.

Our experience was not great. We paid a premium rate and when we arrived at 6pm had to wait an hour to check in. We killed an hour getting dinner in the restaurant, again not great. Finally got into our room and the beds are obviously old and the carpet was soaked. I know, first world issue but we spent $200 for the room and the overall experience was not good. The one big positive is the bones of the place are good. I don’t think you’ll hear steps above you even with little kids.

Bathroom had hair from previous guests. Went away for day & returned to an unattended room, beds not made, no clean towels. Excuse covid & clean only after a 4 day stay. What happened to Hilton? Didnt even have an extra coffee cup in the room & none available in lobby. I've stayed in less expensive hotels with better amenities

The room was really hot and the temperature would not adjust. The room was really dirty and had mold in the shower and the trash was not emptied and was full of beer cans. The restaurant in the hotel only had one waitress to cover the bar and dining room. the staff were very friendly though.

Please do not stay here. The hotel and room we were given smelled like smoke; the room was so humid that it felt like everything was damp. The entire hotel is so old and worn out, it needs a complete overhaul. It’s as if I stepped into the 1970s when I pulled up to the hotel. Obviously they have somewhat updated the carpet, beddings, and bathrooms, but not enough to make it feel renovated. Our door had a gap in it (but filled by a strip of wood. We were on the 1st floor and the exterior door at the end of the hall did not latch and seemed completely broken, which felt dangerously insecure to me. The only good part about it was the front desk employee, Shania. She was wonderful. We ended up leaving and stayed at a different hotel.

We loved our stay here. We were greeted at the front desk with treats. Cookies for all, including the puppy! All the staff were super friendly. I will say that the property and room itself could use a refresh. The shower was crazy hard to use. There are signs up telling you how to use the shower, but its a very awkward design. It kind of all had a mid 80s feel to it. There were lots of walking paths for us to take our pup for a walk. we will stay here again.
