Clean room, nice staff, and breakfast was great!
- 5/5
Highly recommend
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was too firm.....very hard to sleep on that mattress. But that seems to be a Hampton Inn trait......my last 3 stays at 3 separate places we're the the same
- 4/5
I didn't eat breakfast due to time factor, but I cruised through. Very nicely set up, well organized, clean and nice choices. I must have been on the pet floor? I heard a dog barking, which I wasn't expecting but it wasn't a problem.
- 5/5
Staff exceptional. Breakfast selection very good. Loved the coffee.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Good location with lots of history in the area.

The hotel is clean, everywhere - rooms, restrooms, breakfast area. The rooms are comfortable. Breakfast, it's plentiful & hot and with cereals & fruits. The staff is friendly.
- 4/5
Very clean, wonderful breakfast options with great service!!
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic! I had hi
- 5/5
Staff was polite. Room was well appointed. The air conditioning unit was slightly noisy, but not terrible.
- 1/5
Bed was broken, tv remote didn’t work, the shower only had cold water, are room over looked the swimming pool and it smelt like chlorine, and the people swimming in the pool there voices echoed into the room. Would not stay again and if I could I would go lower on the star
- 3/5
The staff was pleasant and polite. However, the property maintenance needs to do their job. Upon checking in we were given our cards for access to our room. They did not work. I went downstairs to get he situation remedied and I had to wait for her as she was busy with another customer somewhere in the hotel. Once she came back I was told the she could move us to another room but the bathtub faucet leaked. It did not just leak it had a steady stream of water flowing continuously. We took the room as the other one had no working key fob. Location was great for our visit to the local museums.
- 5/5
Staff was kind and friendly. Room was clean and so comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Great stay!
- 3.5/5
Distance to venue
- 2/5
A lot of money for only a n average hitel
- 1.5/5
Service was very poor
- 3/5
Overall the stay was okay. The bathtub had yellow stains, and for the 3 nights we were there we did not get our room cleaned. Comfy
- 5/5
I loved everything about it
- 3/5
Front desk area was under renovation, even during breakfast. Early morning traffic on Illinois Street woke us up. Not relaxing and restful as I would have expected from Hampton Inn.
- 5/5
Clean, great staff, and fantastic shower head pressure. It was also pretty quiet so that was a blessing! The beds were a bit too firm my liking, but not awful.
- 2/5
The hotel is very old and outdated and it shows in the rooms and the amenities. The laundry facilities are broken, the machines in the gym are broken, the elevators are slow, and the rooms are old and sad looking. Also don’t expect more than one towel per person. For the price I would expect a nicer stay and for things to work at the hotel. On the plus side the staff at the front desk were friendly.
- 3.5/5
Nothing that we just didn’t like
- 5/5
Staff is great! Hotel is clean. Location is in the middle of it all.
- 5/5
Relaxed convenient and comfortable Avoid the sonic next door!
- 5/5
Clean, secure. Friendly staff.

Clean and nice looking room, friendly environment, helpful customer service.

Only thing louder than the pool noise was the sound of the AC. Sounded like engine turbine and industrial blower. You could t even listen to the TV when the AC was on. Bed sheets were poor quality- very scratchy - and the mattress seemed to be just plain worn out. Super uncomfortable and the slightest movement from either of us shook the bed so badly there was no rest to be had. I purposely selected a NON accessible room when I made the booking and yet accessible is what we got. Not sure why they offer an option if it is being ignored. Sink in bathroom had a drain issue and so the sink was half full of water the entire time. The shower had zero water pressure and when you tried to adjust the shower head the face of it came off in your hand. I recognize that at the price point it’s not meant to be “high end” lodging, but standards were way low. I’ve never been so ready to leave a hotel room in my life.. This was my first ever stay in a Hampton InnI will likely not stay in one ever again.
- 3/5
Hoel is in the meddle of renovations and was kind of a mess. Furniture missing from the room.
- 1/5
The floor was torn apart and smelled like chemicals out in the hallway. The bed was hands down one of the hardest least comfortable mattresses I’ve ever had at a hotel. There was a stain on the head board and the bathroom door is a sliding door that does not offer a lot of privacy.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, great location, great staff.
- 4.5/5
Curtains did not completely meet when pulled left gap for lots of light to come in
- 5/5
No issues at all.
- 4/5
The location was perfect for what we were doing in Oak Ridge. The rooms were large. Breakfast left a bit to be desired -- there was very little selection unless you like cereal. There was only one carton of yogurt, one carton of cottage cheese, two of the fried eggs, and a few sausages. The oatmeal looked like it had been reheated from the previous day. Otherewise the hotel was great.
- 4/5
Clean, nice bathroom/shower, very comfortable bed, good, hot coffee. Rob at front desk was very freindly and helpful. Noisy air conditioner. Breakfast was lacking: Not enough bacon, Biscuits but no gravy, No egg items.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
It was a great experience! Whatever I asked for they politely provided, including where to dine and directions.

Closeness to my final destination. Hard to maneuver off/on main road.
- 5/5
It was very nice and friendly

Out of service elevator. Had to lug bags via stairs to 3rd floor. Sucked!
- 4/5
I got charged twice for the room, once by booking and once by the hotel

HORRIBLE. On the second night of our stay, the power went out at about 11:30pm. After waiting 45 minutes, we went to the front desk to see what was going on and no one could give us answers. The front desk said “we don’t know what’s going on, the power could come back in 30 minutes or 2 hours...” I sleep with a medical device that needs to be plugged into electricity so this was a huge concern for me and I couldn’t risk waiting. It could’ve been 5 hours. After another 30 minutes with no answers, me and my sister decided to pack up and go down the street to another hotel that had electricity. The front desk agent said that I would not be charged for this night, given that we didn’t even STAY there and had to pack up and move in the middle of the night in the dark. After requesting a refund which I think is pretty reasonable given the circumstances, I was shocked to hear that my request was denied for the night that I did not stay there, again as I have a medical device that needs to be plugged in and I couldn’t do that. I called the hotel today and the front desk girl told me that “she has spoken to the GM and decided to not refund me” and when I asked if the GM could give me a call, she said “she doesn’t do that” (LOL) and then proceeded to tell me that since I didn’t disclose what medical device I have, that she can’t prove if it was life or death… Who would lie about a medical device? This dirty hotel is a joke.
- 0.5/5
TV didn't work. Air didn't work. Refrigerator didn't work. Door lock didn't work. Had to change room.
- 5/5
We were going to be out and I asked one of the housekeeping staff to service the room. She just stared and didn’t respond. Thought she was rude.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was extremely nice and polite. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was hot, filling and had many selections.
- 3/5
Front desk frequently unattended.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fine. Location was great.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff
- 5/5
The two gentleman working were so friendly and the hotel was very clean
- 5/5
Not enough 110 v outlets and no outlets for electrically devises.
- 5/5
It was a last minute overnight stay for work. The price was right, and the accommodation met my expectation.
- 5/5
safe, quiet
- 5/5
Staff were very helpful. David at the front desk provided great service. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5

Noisy, they didn’t clean my room in 3 days
- 5/5
safe, quiet, easy parking
- 3/5
The employees were very accommodating and a delight to speak to.. even for a couple of volunteer fans. Haha. Honestly they were the highlight of the stay.
- 3/5
Staff were very nice. Had to ask for dry towels the second day. Breakfast and coffee were weak. Room was nice and quiet

Friendly courteous helpful knowledgeable
- 5/5
The beds are awesome. I had a great night sleep. Breakfast was great and overall customer service was absolutely wonderful
- 5/5
We came into town to visit Oak Ridge history museums and Brushy Mountain State Pen. Check in was easy, and guy at desk was super nice. Our room was quiet all night, and we felt safe. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selection. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I stayed here for a solo trip with my dog. EXTREMELY dog friendly and I was so appreciative (door tag for my room, plenty of walking grass with dog waste station, staff friendly towards my dog). Nice breakfast, and welcoming staff. I felt safe as a female traveler. Very clean room that was well kept. And it was large! I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is I was promised a ground level by the GM Rebecca (for my dog) and I was given a 4th level room. The gentleman who checked me in didn’t show much concern. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
The hotel host was real snobby my boyfriend got put in jail for asking for a refund It really was unpleasant experience for us probably will never stay at oakridge again
- 3/5
Our stay was good. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Only hot food was omelette, sausage lengths, and self made waffles. I expect more from the Hampton.
- 5/5
We always love the Hampton Inn. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Amenities are always great. Rooms are always clean and fully stocked. Breakfast is always fantastic. If I had to nitpick, I do wish the room smells a little bit better. There’s always a tiny bit of a stale smell, but I’m not sure how that could be remedied. Also, I was disappointed that only one elevator is working this weekend but I know stuff happens.
- 5/5
The staff at night was friendly and everything was clean and nice
- 5/5
Room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
We were given a room already occupied! The lady that checked us in said someone used a digital check in and someone had checked us in hours earlier. She gave us keys anyway and there was someone already in there. Then we were given a handicap room right next to the elevators. That’s all we heard and the cleaning staff was so loud. I would not recommend staying. Also, the indoor pool was closed so we weren’t able to enjoy that amenity.
- 5/5
I stayed here for one night while on a business trip. It was conveniently located close to a bunch of restaurants. The pool was closed for renovations which was disappointing. I try to swim some for exercise while on the road.
- 4/5
The bathroom floor was very dirty. I had to clean it. The pool was closed.
- 5/5
Always nice folks and clean comfortable room.
- 4/5
issue of the window above the A/C unit was off track and PLENTY of dead bugs lying on top of unit.
- 4/5
It was sad that the pool was closed for maintenance the entire weekend that we were there.
- 4/5
One elevator was out of service.
- 4/5
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast not up to standard of other Hampton.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Easy check in and out.
- 5/5
Mrs. Helen was very nice and pleasant at checkin
- 5/5
it was quiet and very clean.
- 5/5
Nice size rooms with good furnishings & clean.
- 5/5
My husband had never stayed in a Hampton so he was amazed. So I was happy to share this with him. All staff was extremely helpful and treated us like family.
- 5/5
This was a very nice quiet place to stay. Staff was friendly and ready to help.
- 3/5
Not updated with Streaming- hotel needs an update all around - ice machines are obsolete
- 5/5
Good stay...met expectstions
- 5/5
Super nice and clean!
- 5/5
Uh have stayed here before and enjoyed the service.
- 4/5
Really disappointing that lack of vending machine. One drink machine nothing else.
- 5/5
Room is large, clean and exactly what we needed!
- 4/5
I cannot speak for all rooms, but mine was outdated for sure. That is my only critique. It was clean though. I’d stay there again.
- 5/5
WE LOVED OUR STAY FROM CHECKIN (WITH PLATE OF HOMEBAKED COOKIES!) TO CHECKOUT NEXT MORNING WITH DELICIOUS BREAKFAST TO SEND US ON OUR WAY.
- 5/5
Nice a quiet, clean and comfortable beds and room
- 5/5
Good place
- 5/5
The staff were excellent and helpful. The breakfast variety and taste were very good. Many restaurants located close by.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay.
- 4/5
The hotel needs to be updated and improve on the cleanliness.
- 2/5
Among the issues: 1. I booked a king non-handicap. Didn't get that. 2. The HVAC fan was as loud as a jet engine. Didn't sleep a wink. 3. The furniture, lamps were we all mis-matched and old. It seemed like this was a storage room. 4. I had a view of the indoor pool with no natural light. 5. The bathroom was dirty. 6. The rate was very high for such a poor property. To be fair, the people were friendly. I am used to getting a room near the elevator or ice maker when I book through hotels.com, which is what I got here.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean room.
- 4/5
Noisy, limited parking, nice breakfast, room comfortable.
- 1/5
When we get to the the room we found out the room was not clean , garbage can full , bad experience
- 3/5
Was ok but the pool was not being heated and with two kids it didn't go well. If I would have known I would have booked elsewhere. Pretty disappointed.
- 5/5
Not bad... i would stay there again
- 5/5
Very nice place close to everything
- 4/5
Very quiet hotel that provided a hot breakfast. The staff is friendly. I would recommend this place if you are in town visiting the Great Smoky Mountains..
- 4/5
Nice stay, as it should be. Please fix dining area lights, kind of difficult to see the breakfast without lights. But in overall good place.
- 5/5
Clean, well kpet bushes and grass, the Breakfast room was exceptional for a hotel.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, and affordable.
- 5/5
Everything was great, nice and clean
- 4/5
Hotel was nice. Lady at front desk seemed a little grumpy. Breakfast was good
- 5/5
Cendall at the front desk was amazing! We had to switch hotels at last minute and she let us check in way early. The hotel was amazing. The bed and pillows gave a good nights rest. Breakfast was very tasty! We will be staying here again if back in the area.
- 4/5
Staff went out of their way to provide service. Couldn't ask for more. Miss Diana on the breakfast bar needs a special shout-out.
- 4/5
The maid service was awful. They didn't vacuum, they didn't clean the floor, they didn't replenish the toilet paper and the room was dusty, which wasn't done again when we asked for cleaning services. Also, the first time we asked for cleaning services, the maid did not show up. Loved everything else about the hotel.
- 5/5
The people that were working when we were around them were fantastic. We loved the choices and the convenience for everything that we were there to see.
- 5/5
This Hampton Inn was super clean and nice. The breakfast was great and I used the weight room and pool. Both if which were in excellent condition.
- 4/5
The hotel had a musty smell to it overall, but otherwise was a good stay for our needs.
- 5/5
nice stay great staff
- 4/5
Staff
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay! The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was perfect. Would recommend to anyone!!
- 3/5
The place was clean but the walls are thin. We could hear our neighbors as though we were in the same room.
- 5/5
Excellent service, very clean, and up to date!
- 5/5
This hotel was great, room was very clean, staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were awesome. We would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
We stayed here while having renovations done at our Oak Ridge house. The staff were friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was sufficient- lots of easy takeaway options and good coffee (coffee and hot choc are available all day). We enjoyed the fresh baked cookies too. There's a nice indoor pool for those interested. Very easy parking and lots of close fast food and sit down restaurants-walkable even. Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Big Lots, and Dollar Tree are less than a mile and Kroger and Food City are a mile away too. The room had a mini fridge; coffee maker; and microwave. Because of Covid issues they don't do daily housekeeping but will clean upon request, so it's really not a problem. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here; and we would again if ever needed.

I hate to write negative reviews, but the way things were handled is unacceptable. We booked through Expedia on February 26th based on positive reviews. However, we were disgusted to find a bed bug biting my husband around 3 am. We left immediately as it was disgusting. The person in the front office stated she would let the manager know to get a refund. After 9 hours of waiting and not hearing back from the manager on call, Kimberly, I call back only to be told that the manager doesn’t work on weekends! I explained my situation and she told me I have to call Expedia. I have been trying to chat online with Expedia to get a refund, but the wait times are ridiculous. I’m still on hold as I type this review! This hotel is not clean, but not getting an apology or a call from management is the reason I’m writing the review. I would’ve avoided telling the world about your bed bug issues if this situation was handled differently. I had to call 1-800-Hilton to escalate this
- 5/5
This hotel is very much what you always expect a Hampton Inn to be - clean, quiet, friendly, and practical rooms. The front desk attendants were very helpful (delivered another hairdryer when I couldn't find our room's - which I finally did AFTER they went to that trouble). The lady who set out the breakfast was SO nice and the area was fresh and spotless.
- 4/5
The tv had no connection so missed out on Olympics that night…no one to report to at the front desk…otherwise everything was great
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Room was clean and the location was convenient.
- 5/5
Excellent service from front desk. We arrived at check - in time on Christmas eve. Requested the "quietest" room available. Hostess searched and happily said "just for you". Ground floor away from everyone. It was perfect.
- 5/5
The desk staff were very kind and made sure to let us know of all amenities upon arrival. After a long drive, our kids were very excited for the heated pool, which was clean and quiet. Before checkout, we had a delicious breakfast with kind staff assisting.
- 3/5
The TV didn't work, so they offered to give me a discount. However, instead of just applying it, they said I had to contact Hotels.com to have it applied.
- 5/5
Very quiet and didn’t have any problems! The breakfast was good!
- 5/5
The staff were exceptionally pleasant and friendly
- 3/5
No Hot Water for the Showers. Business Center No Internet Connection. TV in the Room needed to Constantly be rebooted
