Breakfast was terrible food was empty at 830. No one re filled and when they did they just filled the syrup.

The staff were very unprofessional for both shifts. Dress was not appropriate for the position. I requested for clean towels and my room to be straightened while we were away in meetings and the staff said okay. I came back that evening after 5 and nothing had been done. When I checked out the next morning (two-night stay) and asked why my room wasn't cleaned and toiletries replaced, she stated they only did that for four or more nights. There was only one wash cloth and two towels, and I was expected to use those for my stay. I will look at another facility next time I am in the area for work. We will be in the area for work several times over the next year. Front desks help really needs to be trained. I do not like being called "hun" and I walked out with a co-worker and one of the front desk ladies stated she "needed a drink and it's only 4 o'clock." I just looked at her and kept walking.

The room was sparkling clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were all kind, friendly and very accommodating. We had an excellent A+ stay.

The room still had a doggy smell. The pits needed to be cleaned. Cups and glasses had lipstick. But Renay or Renee at the front desk was superb.

A private party made parking a little tricky but it was okay.

It was a great location and perfect relaxing place with a nice outdoor area Cleanliness of bathroom was kinda off, still had some belongings of the people before in the room under the table

Comfortable bed, clean linens, well equipped gym, and good breakfast. Room was a little tight with the kitchen at the entry and next to the closet. Ran out of pool towels and the pool was very chlorinated which burned our eyes while swimming.

The woman at the front desk was very accommodating. We had to ask to switch rooms and she made it happen! We asked for a late checkout and again she made it happen.

I loved the free breakfast. The hotel was in a good location, and the room was very comfortable I didn't like spending an extra 100$ for my dog.

But above all, I would like to thank and acknowledge the great receptionist April. She had been amazing helping me out for laundry, and welcoming us with the biggest smile. It really makes a difference when you come from 7 hours drive.

The property was very neat and clean located directly near various restaurants and walmart. The staff were super personable and welcoming I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed here to be close to the hospital for surgery the next day as I live a good distance from town. Need a few extra items for my stay and the staff was more than accommodating.

Have no complaints about the hotel itself. Everything was 5 star about the hotel itself. My only disappointment was whomever was staying in the room above us was absolutely rude and very inconsiderate. We stayed for 7 nights and 4 of those nights were to say the least inconceivable. It sounded like a wrestling match was going on that lasted for 5 or 6 hours straight for 4 of the nights. After whomever was staying on top of us left, the rest of our stay was quite pleasant. Overall, the hotel was clean, safe and staff were polite and friendly.

Comfortable room No problems

Good location, central to stores and food. Room was in great condition and clean. It's nice to have a small kitchen and plenty of trash cans available. The kids jumping around all night above us. My recommendation is to get the 3rd floor if available.

Checkin was easy and the front desk clerk was super nice.

We were only there for one night and arrived late. Checknin was quick and easy, there was a great hit breakfast in the morning.

Drove out of the way hour to stay here. Go to check in at 12 am for them to say they over booked us and we didn’t have a room.

Microwave had grease under it. Bathroom shower didn’t work that well and products seemed watered down. I was glad I brought mine! Staff was wonderful!

Clean Good location to American Science Museum… Nice amenities with outside areas …pool and fire pit and front seating….nice clean gym….good breakfast….spinach soufflé was delightful! Ran out of breakfast food early….got to breakfast a little after 8 (supposed to be open until 9) and no more eggs of any type and etc and weren’t making more..starting cleaning up and shutting down about 8:30…. Room way too small for luggage. Cute room but not very functional. Had no luggage racks so had to use food stool …: Front desk staff not able to answer general questions about the area or general Oak Ridge into…:have them read a book!! Or see the movie Oppenheimer!

Breakfast was fine. I’m not a big breakfast person, but I did have a yogurt, muffin and coffee m.

Pleasantly surprised with this place. I usually stay at other hotels, but my wife wanted to try this one. It was much better than expected. We will definitely stay here when we return to Oak Ridge.

Right beside museum

Being that you book on Expedia, you end up getting the worst room and the dirtiest and rooms that have never been occupied. The rooms were hot. They had a stitch to it. Bold in the bathrooms. I feel that when you pay 20 bucks less on Expedia, you end up getting rooms that are nasty.

Night guy is rude and unprofessional Room Was dirty and being that u book on Expedia seems Like They give u rooms That has never been occupied and everything smelled Old n very dusty towels had a nasty stinch mold In bathrooms and carpet was filthy I love Marriott’s but this was extremely disgusting and want a full refund. We stay at Marriott suites all the time and this was the worst and most disappointing dirty place we have ever stayed at

Decent daily breakfast. Comfortable bed and pillows. Location is close to everything. The room was a litle small and cramped but not unbearably so, I expected more for the price. Limited TV station options (streaming was also available but again, limited. If they're going to install apps, why not offer more than Netflix and Amazon?)

Friendly staff. Nice weight room. Good breakfast. Clean. We were there for a regatta. Hotel was easy driving distance from the lake. Pillows gave me a little trouble. I’m nitpicking.

The AC units outside of my window were very noisy.

There was a major problem at check-in in that my reservation in the hotel system did not match what I'd booked on Expedia. While I showed them the reservation on my Expedia account, they said there was nothing they could do as the hotel was completely booked. While I was trying to find out how to call Expedia (which is impossible, of course), another guest who had booked a bigger room than he needed agreed to switch rooms; so I was able to stay there. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.

The hotel looked like it was brand new. It was clean and conveniently located close to a number of restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was friendly when checking in and they give you a gift bag with snacks and water. The rooms are nice and more like a small apartment vs a room. The breakfast was good.

I like this hotel. The hotel is clean and dust free. Breakfast is ordinary. The only problem is that if you park in a parking lot near the road, rocks may be thrown at your car.

We loved the hotel and our room. The rooms are awesome. The ONLY thing we didn’t like were the two dogs that were in the room right above us. All night long every night we could hear them running around playing with some type of toy. They never barked, but we could hear them playing all through the night. Barking dogs are the reason we will never stay at the Double Tree anymore, so we were really hoping this would be our new favorite hotel.

Cute place and pretty clean No complains

This hotel is clean and quiet. I appreciated being able to stream videos from my own apps. Breakfast wasn’t elaborate, but the choices were good, including low carb options.

I was as pleased by this hotel experience than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in years. While the accommodations exceeded expectations, it was the exceptionally thoughtful service, (especially from Kat) and the disability accommodations. Kat, and staff, made us feel welcome and like any other customer. My disabled family member is still happy about her time at hotel.

Easy to check in and park. Clean and friendly.

The only negative about my experience was being woken up early from the staff cleaning. They were in the rooms above mine doing what sounded like WWE matches. Maybe they were angry cleaning but it definitely sounded like they were throwing all the furniture and slamming their vacuum into walls. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

The cleaning service did not take out the trash or clean the dishes. When this was brought up it was disregarded at checkout.

Why do I always have to leave comments here about my stay when you just asked me to rate things already. This is why a lot of times I don’t complete these as I have already rated items and now comments- come on! Accept the ratings and move on.

Check in was quick and easy

I needed a place to stay after worship late on Christmas eve so I would be able to get more sleep. I chose TownePlace because it's very close to the church, clean, quiet and friendly.

Everything is wonderful

No daily service. Only clean every seven days and refresh which is take out the trash and change towels every other if they can’t get to it.

Excellent place to stay.

Unexpectedly ended up having to stay here for a week after my long term airbnb plan fell through. It was a great and seamless stay for me and my puppy. Very clean, safe, and up to date facilities, and a great neighborhood. The staff was so nice to my puppy. I loved that there were so many stores within walking distance. Would for sure stay here again.

We were there for a nearby event at Melton Lake. The hotel met all our needs. Was a clean, nicely maintained utilitarian choice in a safe area near a shopping center with a nice little pool and well equipt gym. Would chose it again.

Fantastic stay… work and pleasure! The breakfast is a little iffy. Would be better if we could make our own waffles. Eggs were rubbery… the one day we had croissant egg and ham it was great. Great coffee!!!!

The breakfast was not the quality or quantity we expected

too bad. Also fresh fruit was NEVER offered!! We were looking forward to a free breakfast but we had to go elsewhere OR grab a muffin. They also ended breakfast at 9:00! RIDICULOUS! They also took away the coffee at 9. They should keep the coffee going ALL day!

A very nice overnight stay while passing through the area. Extremely clean, incredibly comfortable bed and very friendly staff. Stayed with my dog and was particularly happy for a window that opens!!!

Very clean and modern , pool was nice hotel property was kept very well. Check in was terrible and breakfast was less than desirable. However that being said I would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom has a unique shower: there's a fixed glass wall (no shower door). That's really cool, however, the showerhead is not able to adjust up or down, so the water splashes past the fixed glass wall and gets of the floor. I just put an extra towel on the floor to catch the water. Other that that, the bathroom is larger than any other I've used in a hotel. The staff was very pleasant and the amenities (computer, gym, pool, fire pit) are a very nice touch. Plenty of space in the lounging area on the first floor.

Room was very clean. Bed comfortable. Pet friendly. Breakfast was lacking, maybe because of Christmas but had to go to Waffle House for hot food. Overall a very nice hotel and pleasant stay.

There were some items under the bed in 411 that did not belong to us, so not sure how clean it was. Also sheets were just thron on top of the bed, no tucking underneath the matress so they ended up in the floor. Also a few stray hairs in the bath tub. Room was very nice and very conveniently located. Will stay again.

Just an overall nice clean place with a welcoming staff

Our stay was great. The hotel is clean. It smells very clean as well. Great experience. We will definitely will be staying here again.
