There were multiple bugs and spiders and caterpillars that entered our room on our stay. All of the amenities at the place was closed which we were told all were active online.

Comfortable and relatively clean. But carpet in rooms and hallways is dirty and the place is dated.

Everything was amazing 10/10.

The rooms were great and breakfast was very standard. What I didn’t appreciate however, was the fact we couldn’t extend our stay as they had already booked our room before we checked out causing us to change locations.

If I could rate less than terrible I would. They say they were wheelchair accessible, couldn't even get to the front door. Never again

The breakfast was great. Hotel was clean although the lobby stayed very warm. Fitness room was ok. Pool was being worked on so I couldn't swim. Same with the bar area

I noticed a ton of bad reviews on the staff and cleaning of the building but to my surprise it was nothing like it. My room was clean and I had good service. The staff was not rude and the breakfast was decent. Yes the hotel is outdated but it was a good hotel for the price and it was exactly what i needed and more. I took a chance on the hotel and it didn’t disappoint. Whenever im back in town i will be back.

It was a wonderful stay. Room was spacious but outdated, breakfast was good parking was accessible and the staff were extremely helpful.

Overall clean rooms, staff were super friendly! Breakfast is a big hit especially if you have kids ! Parking is kind of hard especially late at night but otherwise a pretty pleasant experience! I would stay here again.

This hotel is in a prime area but is in need of major updates. Toilet seat wobbly, couch so old it’s frayed. Vending machine’s half work. Bed lumpy and the tv channels half worked. You have to let the water run forever to get warm just not a pleasant stay.

Great place to call home for a few days! Breakfast was on point! Service was on Point! The room was on Point! (The bathroom shower could have a bit more clean, but other than that it was a great stay). I would defiantly stay hear again!

They said the pool was working before I booked with them. But when I got there to check in they said the pool been down for a year. Breakfast was missed some mornings due to short staffing and they provided what they could which was cereal

1st night there key wouldn't work for room 309. Once that was taken care of the sofa sleeper room TV didn't work called down to front desk to tell them and they said " do the one in the bedroom work" I said yes but I don't want to eat in the bedroom. And if it were a matter if reprogramming the Tv why not that. 2nd I had stepped out to meet family and bought back food for later only to find out that the microwave wasn't working. Call the front desk again and was told that no maintenance was there during the night. ( ok how about just grabbing another microwave from an empty room) The next morning I went to take a shower and the ceiling from the bathroom was leaking and the tile was about to fall through. SMDH HERE'S THE BEST OF THE WORSE PART. THE PERSON I SPOKE TO AT THE FRONT DESK WAS THE MANGER OF THE HOTEL. I WISH I WAS ABLE TO POST THE PICTURES OF THE ROOMS. AND HERE'S THE BEST PART SOMEHOW BY A MIRICAL THE NEXT DAY WHEN THE MANAGER OF WHOM I SPOKE WITH THE NIGHT BEFORE WENT TO SHOW HIM THE ROOM..... THE TV WAS WORKING AND MICROWAVE WORKING.. like im an idiot WON'T, WILL NOT EVER STAY THERE AGAIN. AND HE OFFER ME A 15% DISCOUNT. WHAT SLAP IN THE FACE. I CALLED CORPORATE ABOUT THESE CONDITIONS AND GOT A CLAIM NUMBER. EXPEDIA IM CONSIDERING DOING BUSINESS WITH SOME ONE ELSE

The pool was not working and the keys to the room was not working either. The ballroom was hot for the majority of our gathering. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could've been.

If there was mold why was I given room in the first place. Second I should have been notified. I was told housekeeping is every third day How unsanitary is that? This used to be a good place, not anymore. Next year on my yearly visit I'll look elsewhere..

This was a great hotel to stay at while we went to our anime convention at the Rosemont convention center. Breakfast was great with plenty of options to choose from to start our days. The room was clean and nothing was broken or anything besides some wear tear that's normal. We would definitely come back again

Hotel is clean Staff was friendly in the morning. Late night staff was rude. Don’t eat the pizza place next door. They had roaches. Overall hotel is a good place to stay if you need something quick and affordable.

Everything was fine overall other than the tub and showerhead having. We told the front desk and they were supposed to fix it within a day or two and never fixed it. Overall not bad, just kind of gross to wipe the shower head a see a towel full of rust.

The room had mold and was incredibly water damaged. They refused to refund. I am going to attach pictures because I was in disbelief how bad the room was. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment. When I informed the staff he just took pictures of my pictures and said ok. It smelled super perfumey, which I am assuming they did to cover up the mold/mildew smell.

One day they came yo the door upset about cleaning the room.Which wasn't a problem but there's a sign in the bathroom that reads call if you want the room cleaned. That was just odd other than that it was regular hotel and the toliet was do low it was for toddlers.

I could not log in to WiFi ( my problem). The radio didn’t work except for one channel and the clock was wrong. The 2 TVs seemed to be on different systems.

I always get a room at this location this time wasn’t good my toilet kept getting stopped up had to go downstairs and get a plugger instead of house keeping come and look at it and it was so noisy didn’t get enough sleep never had this happened before

When I booked this room I wasn't sure if it had a balcony. At check in I asked and the lady told me no that it didn't have a balcony but she found me an available room with one. The room was clean and staff were friendly. We stayed 3 nights and had a good experience over all.

I booked through Expedia, was under the impression that I booked a suite with a jetted tub! Once I got to the room & saw it wasn’t what I thought I booked, I went to the service desk, I really didn’t receive any care or concern! I would have payed the difference for a jetted tub, me and my husband were in town celebrating our anniversary. We frequent this hotel in our home town often! I contacted Expedia, spent 3 hours chatting and still have yet to hear from whoever the higher up is that they sent a email to! We received no house keeping service, so I had to call down for clean towels and tissue! Also our microwave didn’t work so we had to leave our room to use the microwave in the breakfast area! Definitely wouldn’t book here again!

Janky hotel. Plumbing issues - toilet did not flush properly. Post it notes covered non-working light fixtures. Hole in bedroom door where door handle was supposed to be and hardware for handle was on the floor. Most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever tried to sleep on. Old worn out pillows. Don’t book a room here!

The property was centrally located for our events and it was wonderful having an accessible room for my mom. It was difficult getting her wheelchair over the cracks and layers on the ramp and at the door, her wheels got stuck in both and thanks dangerous. Also, the party downstairs was right under our room and the banging and loud music lasted til about 2 or 3 in the morning. It was difficult to sleep well both nights ;(

Had issues with room and when I spoke with manager, it was not resolved to my satisfaction.

Now the property wasn’t that bad the rooms was a nice size , but the lady at the front desk was kinda rude . We walked in and immediately knew it was kinda a ghetto spot. The only issue I had was a few things not working and the tub stopper having mold and the shower head being grimy . The pool was out of order , we wanted to swim . The blow dryer in the rooms didn’t work .

The room was old and out dated. The blankets had green marker on them. There was not enough towels. They did not clean room or replace towels during my stay. During breakfast there was a roach near the elevator. After checking out, they charged my card on file an additional $30, because the towels was dirty. I called the hotel to inquiry about the charge and was belittled by Juan, The front desk person on Monday evenings. NEVER EVER STAY HERE !!

Overall it’s a good 2 nights stay. Just FYI, swimming pool is closed, under constructions. Half of the gym equipments are not working. Breakfast was good. When I checked in, they charged me $100 as deposit. We left before 9am, still haven’t gotten my $100 deposit back yet. I will come back and update when they refund my deposit.

Smell was terrible lights had tape over them. Floor was dirty with spots on it it was really loud from people upstairs a lot of bumping no peace. Also there was no pool when we got there it said it was a pool and the times that's false advertisement.

They canceled my rooms and I had to rebook after I rebooked the rooms. I was told the pool did not work. Which is why I came to the hotel for. I had already paid for the room.I booked 3 room one room refrigerator was not working and we had to get a new one. Another room the cable cord to the TV was missing and the TV would not connect to their Wi-Fi for me to be able to use it.

The staff at as very friendly and the actual room was nice. The bathroom needed some attention. The wallpaper was coming off the wall, the shower curtain rod was falling off and the shower wasn’t very clean. The motion sensor lights are a terrible idea. The would all come on if I rolled over in bed, and turned off while I was in the shower.

There were not enough towels for a party of four. We went to the front desk to ask for one more towel set they stated we needed to put our towels outside the door in order to get another one. I had my son take a towel to the desk as I was trying to take a shower and then we set the other towels outside the door. My son did the towel exchange at the front desk we left the other towels at the door, we left we came back to no towels at all. The bathtub did not drain right and it was dirty. Won’t be staying at this hotel again.

Too noisy

The staffs were friendly. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is simple but adequate. The hotel location is convenient. No room cleaning every day, it was fine with me for a 4 nights stay. A gym is in the basement level, clean and quiet. A minor issue was that weight lifting equipment ( I didn’t use but noticed) were broken, don’t know how long that has been left without repair. In over all, I will stay there again if I come in the area again.

I am trying to obtain a refund for the 3 nights we did not stay at the Oakbrook Terrace comfort suites. I originally booked 4 nights, (11/25-11/28) but after our first night, I decided it wasn't safe to keep my family there. There was no security - the side doors were open and anyone could walk in off the street. Also, one half of the building smelled like marijuana. The property was not what I had expected. I went to the front desk and was told a "Manager" would contact me in terms of the refund. That never happened. I see 2 charges from you on my account. A $69 charge and a $236 charge. I believe the $236 charge should be refunded. I just called the hotel (again) directly and was told to email this email address. But I couldn't understand the gentlemen and not sure I have the correct email.

There were blood stains all over our room. The room in general was not very clean. The ceiling to the bathroom was falling apart. The front door to the room had big gaps so it let in a ton of light from the hallway at night.

We had a great stay.

I was initially told there were no other rooms available, but suddenly they were able to “find” a different one and it smelled much better. To add to the frustration, I had booked 4 for nights. Due to severe weather, I couldn’t make it the first night, but I arrived early the next morning only to be told my room was probably given away becase I didn't come. 20 mins later, there was only one room left. It felt like a nightmare from start to finish. The front desk associate did try to be pleasant, but repeatedly telling me “I talk nice so you talk nice” was uncomfortable and didn’t reflect an understanding of what I was dealing with. It felt like a cultural disconnect rather than customer service. Overall, extremely disappointing stay, this hotel needs serious improvements in cleanliness, communication, and professionalism.

The ice machine was so nasty in then they kept 80 dollars of my deposit because my 2 year old cup got on the sheets

Room needs to be more up to standards. Sink was clogged and cap was screwed off. Bathr drain assembly pops right out, not sealed to the tub. I had to clean out a crusty pce of food that was in the carpet, in the front room I found, as soon as I goy into the room.

Parking was congested the halls were dirty and my room had multiple flaws hair in the tub dirty carpet the list goes on me and my companion were so flustered from the horrible check in process and rude over night worker we decided not to talk to him about his service not to mention the room across the hall played loud erotic music from 11-4 am until I finally went downstairs to front desk to complain when I don’t understand how they didnt hear because I could still hear the music from the 3rd floor standing at the front desk

The hotel was clean and the room was clean. The carpet in the room smelled strongly like feet. The pillows in the bed were small. The area with the shower she toilet was very small. The sofa bed mattress was very uncomfortable but we had a child sleeping on it so it wasn't horrible. The tv's didn't get tons of channels. The one tv were my child slept didn't get Disney but the area where we slept did. The hotel was in our budget the stay was overall ok, the guests were quiet and the hotel was in a good location to where we needed to go. We probably would stay there again but now we would know what to expect.

The room was nice, the bathroom was vintage 1960. Plenty of outlets and charging stations. But you're right on Roosevelt which is a 4 lane major thoroughfare. Walls are thin but breakfast is pretty good. Parking is free, a nice bonus in Chicago land. My rating is 3 stars, not awesome, not terrible, not expensive.

Dining area and other areas were clean too. It was nice having a king size bed and another room with sofa. Only minor thing was lemon fused water seemed like old lemons and key didn’t always work (usually had to try 3 times and then it worked) Overall great experience and very good value for the price. Stayed there for a month on a business trip. Really good breakfast every morning. The people at the front desk were respectful, respectable and kind. They clean and restock your room every three days which is great. I slept great. Word of advice, some of the lights in the room are on sensors which will come on when you move in your bed at night 😂 so a piece of dark tape might be needed to stop that. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel. Four sets months out of the year I live out of a suitcase. Third is one of my favorite properties. very safe, quiet and has everything you need.

A very dirty & unsanitary “hotel” the rooms have a smell to them. The shower was dirty & stained. There were dead bugs above the blinds covering the window. Existing garbage on the floor from previous civilians that have been in the room prior. The basement has a pool room that they say has been closed for several upon several years & you can smell the smell of mold very boldly coming from the pool room as there is still water in said pool that has been closed for years upon years. Will not stay here again. Pictures made it look better than it actually is in person. Only good side about it was having free breakfast included in the stay.

This property NEEDS a bunch of repair. The people were very nice, but the Property was terrible. We had to be moved at Mid Night as the A/C would not work. We found Drugs under the bed. They say that they have a pool, but they do not... They say they have a lounge... They do not. The elevator felt like it was going to crash. the people were nice, but the hotel is a mess... I am asking for a full return of my money. My 5 year old daughter even noticed how bad this place was.

I stayed with my elderly mother and sister for 2 nights. Check in was easy, parking was a little confusing, our room was nice, and clean, the beds were comfortable as well as the couch. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, there is an Italian restaurant right next door with the best pizza, and a Dunkin/Baskin Robbins right next to the pizza place. I enjoyed our stay and will stay again when going back.

It was a terrible stay!! The building was hot, and they didn’t want to give us any clean towels, after we had been on the road and took a shower! They were very rude!

The sensor lights in room were annoying. The tv color was off couldnt adjust. Room walls thin i could hear tv in adjoining room. Breakfast choices inadequate. Room key worked intermmitently.

The food there was decent, but the facility is quite old. My family got stuck and dropped in the elevator. Which made me feel that the place is a little bit unsafe. I do feel that they should continue renovating the place and bring a lot of its facility and equipment up to code.

Also, there are room repairs needed for the rooms. My bathroom tub had chip cracks around the drain, and the ceiling crowning woodwork needs to be replaced or fixed in .In the bathroom. Lastly, rooms need to be exterminated. There were a couple ants in my bathroom, and a spider under the bathroom sink were the towels were stored (shelf).

I was very satisfied with my stay here with my family. Room is a bit dark and bathroom is very small, but the services provided were satisfactory. Everything well organized, services were great as well as food. The location is awesome, a bunch of foods and restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend.

I frequent this hotel often, some rooms are better than others. Specifically, the washroom, some are better than others. However, this room I’m currently in, (235) the bathroom needs a complete renovation. It has quite a lot of mold, it’s not up to par.

The parking wasn't an issue for us, but there weren't many spots. But we were able to find a spot each night we stayed. I liked the area because it wasn't far away from the places we needed to go to like the Premium Outlet in Aurora and downtown. We have visited Chicago MANY times and this area is going to be our #1 spot to book. This particular hotel had extremely friendly staff, my only complaint would be the bathrooms needing to be updated. There were a couple items in the room that were old and broken like a lamp, but we weren't there to be in the room, but out and about.

My first visit to the area was great and the accommodations booking and check were very good. I will definitely recommend and return in the future. Thank you for making my experience memorable.

I stayed here for 3 days and not once did they clean my room. When I asked for cleaning, the staff gave me attitude instead of assistance. The room keys barely worked and had to be reactivated multiple times. No pool as advertised, the elevator was out of service, and none of the ice machines were working. Just one issue after another. I definitely would not recommend this place.

I had to be at the hospital and this hotel was convenient. The room was ok. However, no working hair dryer and the toilet kept running all night. I had booked two days, but ended up checking out after one day. The front desk person said they would have the manager take off the one day, especially since we the running water kept us up all night. It never happened.

We had planned a family swim event and didnt know until an hour hefore thevevent tine that it was inoperable. We had to cancel a major event of our weekend activities.

Additionally, the door separating the bedroom from the entryway had uneven handles, and the motion-sensor lights in that area were a major inconvenience—especially for the person sleeping on the pullout sofa, who had to deal with the lights turning on and off throughout the night. We ended up skipping breakfast and checking out early. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.

Pros: Overall for the price, the hotel wasn’t awful and the room was clean. Cons: Our room was never cleaned. When I requested clean towels, I was rudely questioned. Breakfast was mediocre. The lobby felt hot like a sauna. Staff didn’t speak English well. The pool was drained. The elevator was faulty. There were large gaps in the door letting hallway light into the room. Worst part was the motion sensor lights in our room. Our lights turned on at random multiple times throughout the nights. It was incredibly frustrating. Needless to say, we will not be staying there again.

The location was great the commute was smooth and whenever we ask the front desk for supplies it was readily available.

Everything was what I thought it would be. The room was clean, the hot breakfast was okay. The location was great. The staff was professional & friendly. The motion sensor lights was the only issue having to get through out the night to turn off. Other than that issue my stay was enjoyable.

Our room AC wasn’t working properly. They told us, someone would be up to check that evening. No one ever came, the next afternoon, I called the front desk again, finally someone came up. He tried to blame us for the AC not properly working, after I set him and the front desk straight, they sent another guy. He was great, listened and was patient and figured it out. Also, the housekeeper did not want to change our bed lining, after we requested it to be changed by hanging up the sign outside the door. Then the guy who fixed our AC had to beg her to change it. This experience is totally different from our experience last weekend. Everything was perfect, room and staff. So now I’m undecided about staying here, again.

the actual toilet was meant for children...extremely low and undersized for an adult. the bath exhaust fan extremely noisy LOUD better suits. The tub faucet leaked constantly. The shower head was full of calcium deposits and sprayed everywhere. the design of the room was good...desk...couch...tv BUT THE BATHROOM WAS TERRIBLE...BEWARE

Only cleaned room once during 5 day stay. Why charge $15.00 more for handicap rooms for the elderly? Doesn’t make sense to me. Only one ice machine working on third floor. Also the vents in the dining area were full of lint or debris. They looked terrible!!!!

The room was clean. Had a nice bed of sleep in a nice shower period it was cool. I will be back if I go to another concert at the united center. But I didn't like to part where the pool did not work. But the gym was excellent.

Overpriced for a stay with hardly anything to do. In the room, the cable TV didn’t work. 2/3 refreshment vending machines didn’t work. The lounge/bar area is closed. The pool was closed. I went outside to see if I could tan, get some fresh air, and the only place to sit is this small metal bench in the smoke area. I will not be coming back.

No pool and nothing saying it was closed, no WiFi passcode on any paper work. Had to call front desk and could barely hear anything on the phone line. Cable doesn’t work on any tv no signal and bad reception.

Great value for the money considering we had a suite. Room did smell like smoke or vape. Room was large with a lot of conviences. Cable reception was bad on one tv. Bed was comfy and a lot of pillows. Staff was friendly and breakfast was a bonus. Room is showing some wear and some TLC could be used.

There were too many junkie customers checking in. I could smell Marjuana. Way too noisy. I left the place Sunday @ 3:30 AM. People were still talking loud, I could barely sleep. I did complain @ the front desk. He didn't seem to care. There must have been at least 6 or 8 persons in the room, if not more.

One of our rooms had a flood through the bathroom ceiling. The carpeting in this room was also dirty. None of the room keys worked and needed rekeying multiple times. The pool was out of order and closed. The microwave in another of our rooms was broken, carpet was stained and dirty, had burnt out lightbulbs. The elevator was broken and my 83 yo mother with lymphedema and knee problems had to walk down all three flights in pain. The coffee at breakfast was gray and the breakfast sausages were overcooked, dried out and hard to cut or bite because they were hard.

I have been staying there lately a lot. I called service desk this morning around 7:30 am and I asked the lady if I can have a late check- out for 12:30 pm and she cut me off so rude and said no no late check outs because housekeeping has a busy day. I was speechless who says that to guest. 30 minutes was all I asked for. I even offered to pay. Who turns down money. When I check in and the black lady is there. Never an issue and she is really nice. Just because I book through Hotel.com I feel it’s horrible rooms. I had to complain about my room smelling like mildew.

Upon checking into my room, I was appalled to find multiple health and cleanliness violations, including: * Bugs throughout the room * Stained furniture, carpet and bedding * Sticky residue on the walls * Disgusting smells and cigarette smell * Water dripping from the ceiling of mold and onto the floor This level of filth is entirely unacceptable and poses serious health risks. I immediately brought these concerns to the front desk, but no adequate resolution was provided. Due to the unsanitary conditions, I was forced to leave and seek alternative accommodations.

Parking is a little tricky.

Website said the pool would be open by Feb 7th and it was not open. We chose those hotel for that purpose with 3 little kids. They were disappointed to say the least.

It's always nice to stay here.. just was a Lil disappointed that the pool was closed on January n wasn't informed the right way until we got there.. because we always bring my gbabies here for the pool..n it wasn't on the app nor when booked..we found out when we arrived.. but overall we will be back soon..

All was good with one exception. I was in a suite with two other adults, and I had the entry fold-out bed in the sitting room, while the others were in the bedroom. The light in the room was evidently on a sensor, so it went on every time I rolled over or moved in my sleep. I could not find instructions anywhere for turning it off, and when I tried experimenting with various other switches in the room, they switched the lights on and off in the bedroom. So I was woken up every hour or so to turn off the light. (It's a really bright light) If they had included clear, obvious instructions how to turn that off, my stay would have been much more pleasant.

They make you put your garbage out in front of your room. I wasn’t told that until after my 3rd night. This hotel needs a major upgrade, along with employees who really care.

The room was spacious and clean.

Place was overall clean, beds were perfectly made and super cozy. Bathrooms had blood stain on carpet, we put a towel on top so my kids wouldn't see it. We enjoyed the 2 tv's and we loved the doors between hangout area and bedroom so we could close them when kids were in bed. Breakfast was fun, making your own waffles but eggs and meet were gross, we weren't able to eat them but we got fruit, cereal and bagels. waffles were amazing.

My kids liked the continental breakfast in the morning. Granted the sausage tended to be dry and over cooked. Housekeeping service was nonexistent unless requested. During our 5-night housekeeping never came to change the garbage cans, make the beds or refresh the towels. it wasn't until the 3rd day that i had to ask for towels did, they come and replace those and empty the trash. They never made the beds like at typical hotels I have stayed at for work.

Very average breakfast. Cleanliness below average especially outside the room and elevators. Breakfast area garbage can overflowing and the guy working that day saw it, yet wouldn't move a muscle to empty it, Asked to open the fitness room at 7am, the front desk person, David says, we don't open till 8, besides the guy just got here, pointing to the person who was taking the keys. Neither the two treadmills nor the elliptical were in working condition.

On October 22, I spoke to the front desk manager to request room change at 11:00am, She refused to help and I told her that previous clerk promised me to change room for me the next day. I went back to my room and shared my bad experience on the hotel survey. Few minutes later, the front desk manager got infuriated at me over phone and asked why I wrote a bad review for the hotel. Because I wrote a bad review, they agreed to change the room for me. They gave the room which wasn’t ready. So I went to ask the house keeper who was busy cleaning. I knocked at door to get her attention but she did not answer. So I left the decaf coffee bags in the cart and picked up a box of facial tissue missing from my hotel room. I was about to unpack my luggages, the front manger called me and asked me to leave. She retaliated that I need to check out now n she called the police on me, 3 officers showed up to my hotel room while I was packing to leave. The hotel charged me 2 nights but I stayed one night and some unauthorized fees.

Hotel always smelled good but bed & couch needs to be replaced. It was ok for the price. We didn’t “explore “ the hotel, we were only there to sleep. So it did the job.

The tub was dirty, no extra towels, the keys didn’t work had to keep going to the front desk, she wasn’t at the desk half the time I had to keep waiting on her, and when I got there she charged me an extra 15 dollars
