The property is old and in need of renovation. The mattress was much too firm. The woman at the front desk at check in was excellent. The woman at the desk for the next several evenings was not friendly, had an aggressive and harsh attitude, and made it a point to say that NO Hilton Honors benefits would be provided - no meal credit (I am a Hilton Honors Gold), and no points, since I booked through Expedia. Parking in an open lot that wasn’t in very good shape was pay to park. Neither the Bar or The restaurant were open the first evening. The next morning the breakfast buffet, to include the coffee thermos, were not kept up. There was almost no one in the dining area but the eggs and other buffet items were either out or very low. No fresh fruit, the yoghurt was room temperature and the serving area was a mess. The room was not thoroughly cleaned before we checked in, there were toenails in the shower, wash clothes had stains, hand towels were well worn and stained, bath towels had holes. This was clearly the worse Hilton property I have ever stayed at, and I’ve stayed at many. I was a Diamond level Hilton Honors member for years and I have seen a decline across most Hilton properties in recent years, but this one was exceptionally bad.

The staff genuinely seemed happy to be there and very proficient and helpful . The front desk staff superb with attention to detail. The lady that sets out the breakfast, I do t know how to pronounce her name and Stephanie at the front desk were especially stand out. Made me feel like small town hospitality in a big city. Because of this exceptional staff I will keep coming back.all of the employees i encountered were wonderful.

It was a nice room
- 5/5
Overall, the stay was amazing. Would stay again. Only thing is cost of breakfast. I feel like complementary breakfast for the cost of the weekend is a must.
- 5/5
Overall the room was very clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly. The pool area was a little smaller than I expected but it was good and hot tub was nice. I was only disappointed with the shower head while taking a shower it wasn’t shooting out with much pressure. Other than that I was happy band would recommend anyone to stay here.

Dinner options could be better and better priced. Felt quite pricey for entrees and them having everything ala carte was a disappointment.

The main lobby & breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. The pool was clean and comfortable to be in. The room felt cramped, & the spa had a dirty foul odor.

Clean and spacious room, updated, very comfortable bed and pillows and towels. Liked the Kuerig, and charging outlets on each side of bed. Glad there was a bar open. Only downside is breakfast not included with the room.

$8 charge for parking but they didn't even take down my license plate. How would they even know I was parked in the lot. The hotel just nickel and dime everything.
- 3/5
The staff is very kind and attentive. The rooms are great, bathrooms clean. The pool was the only place of concern—the water was gray, and no chlorine. Other than that, it was cool.
- 4/5
Every thing was good, exactly as one would hope for when traveling. No surprises, great value.
- 5/5
We could only stay 1 day thats not yiur fault. Wish we could have enjoyed this property longer. We'll done

Breakfast should be included.
- 3/5
Our room was clean but other’s in our party’s room smelled like bleach, feet and mold. They did move him but you may want to do something about the horrible skunk smell of marijauna in the hallways. I think you better start charging people who impinge on others airspace! I also find it disrespectful to charge paying customers for parking when you have a venue next door who parks for free. They literally took up all the legal places to park! Your rates are On a more positive note the waitress for breakfast was very helpful and kind! The waffles were delicious although over priced I guess we expected more from a Hilton?
- 0.5/5
The property didn’t seam like a Hilton hotel its looked cheap smelled weird and the nasty expensive breakfast. I called 2/27 to make sure hot tub up and running. Only reason i got the room for the hot tub. Pool looked dirty and smelled weird hot tub out of order. Waste of trip and money. Pool water looked dirty and smelled weird. Hotel looked dirty and smelled weird . The food was nasty fresh fruit tasted old.

Room was very clean and cozy
- 2/5
The Hotel was nice and clean but I didn’t appreciate the rudeness of the receptionist at the front desk that make it a bad experience I hope you can correct her demeanor and the wrong information so I her a question after I went into my room 142 so I came back out to ask her what floor is the ice on she replied there’s a ice machine on every floor which I found out that’s not true so I walked around until I ran into a building maintenance man I ask him and told me the ice machine is only on 3-4-5 floor so thank you to him
- 1/5
Everything was wrong! We didn't get the room we reserved. The pool isn't open when it said it would be. The bar isn't open when it said it was. There's no free breakfast when they said there was. The front desk clerk said there was no forks to give us when there's a restaurant on property. Nothing i booked was available and the front desk clerk didn't give a sh*t about anything! I don't even think she works here
- 4/5
Clean rooms but construction going on, moderate noise due to construction
- 2/5
The air conditioner was a loud as a train in room 354
- 1/5
No one informed us that the pool or hot tub were unavailable. Additionally, when I booked online, it said that breakfast was included however, when I got there, the hotel said that breakfast was an extra charge. I was very unhappy with the services and lack of communication in addition to extreme disappointment in their failure to remedy the problem. I booked the hotel (with a pool and hot tub) as part of my son’s birthday celebration and they were uncooperative in rectifying the issues.
- 1/5
I canceled my stay at the front desk. I was told twice by Hilton representatives that the pool and spa or in working order. Twice. hotels.com took my money we went to check-in and the front desk agent told us the pool had been closed for several months. The only reason we booked the room was for the pool. Very very sad child. And the check-in representative was not helpful.

Comfortable buds and pillows overall nice day. Pool and hot tub didn’t seem very clean
- 4/5
The staff was great, my room very nice. Lobby carpet was stained. Front door has not worked in six months. Breakfast is good.
- 4/5
Nicely done.
- 2/5
I am sad to say our stay was less than mediocre. I called before booking to make sure the pool was working since this get away was for the kids to swim, the receptionist assured me that it was working. The pool room was freezing! The pool water was freezing! The hot tub was a tad warm! Huge disappointment! I spoke to the clerk and she sent the engineer out to check the temperature, he came in with a thermostat but didn’t say anything to us. At this time the kids were only hanging out in the hot tub. Later I was in the hallway and seen the engineer so I asked him what was going on he said he thinks the thermostat for the pool and hot tub are shot and he’ll have to close it down I did ask him to give the kids a few more min before doing so since they were in the hot tub and this was the only reason we were there. Being absent minded we got the kids dressed in the morning to hangout in the hot tub to find a sign on the door saying the pool is closed. Now onto the upkeep of the hotel. On the website it says there is a restaurant in the hotel, there was not! The receptionist told us that it was closed till 1/6 but they do serve breakfast in the morning for $17 a person. We were looking forward to having a nice dinner at the hotel with the kids but opted to order out. All the chairs in the lobby were wobbly and at the corner booth the vinyl was torn. There were no couches and the two chairs in the hotel pics were about 20 yrs old. This was a huge disappointment!

Parking was accessible but not included. A hotel at this location and this size should include parking.
- 1/5
The staff were terrible- customer service was horrible. There were so many things wrong with this stay,
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff and great location for our needs!
- 2/5
Came in early to check in with tones. The room is open, but it would be $25 if I wanted to check in early I declined. There’s an eight dollar charge for parking on site. Not sure why I have a Hilton membership charge if that’s the case so be aware of that. Not sure where else you would park. Gal that had greeted me the first time at noon was on her phone when I told her I would be back later, no response. The mattresses are not great. I understand you get what you pay for. Might want to invest in some new mattresses as they are very rough sleep. For the price was OK just know that you were getting what you pay for worked out for what my intention of use was.
- 5/5
Fabulous room
- 5/5
Food was good but additional fee.
- 5/5
Good staff and easy location.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and nice room.
- 4/5
The was clean and the staff friendly, but what I did not understand, why am I paying for parking after paying to stay on the hotel propery as a guess? '
- 4/5
The room was very nice and large and clean however the beds were so high up it was hard to get up on them. A big reason we picked this hotel was because it had a pool and whirlpool but the pool was very small and cold and the chlorine smell was so strong it stung our eyes. It might be time for them to do an update. Also, if you get any snacks prepare to be gouged.
- 1/5
Didn’t make it because got in a car accident
- 1/5
Gun shots fired outside my window. Dirty room.
- 4/5
Very clean and welcoming and the perfect distance from Drury Lane. Was a bit surprised, though, to discover it would cost $8 to simply park the car overnight…
- 4/5
The room was nice along with the staff.
- 4/5
Courteous staff; room was clean; location was great.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
The description says they have a bar buts it’s basically a table and Saturday night was closed. Water in the pool was very cold.
- 5/5
Check-in was extremely quick and easy. The front desk lady was very personable, funny and knowledgeable. The room was clean and quiet. There was good coffee near the front breakfast Buffay, but it was not explained to me when we checked, and that we could help ourselves in the morning also, when I got my final bill, I was charged eight dollars extra for parking, which I was never told about not when reserving. Room confirming the room or checking out from the room there was only four cars in the parking lot so it was practically empty. I don’t know why I was charged this Upsets me quite a bit with these hidden charges Hilton Garden Inn should know better!!
- 2/5
Internet was down for my entire stay. I was on a business trip and needed the internet. Had to improvise and spend most of my time away from the facility. Very inconvenient. I would have stayed in a different hotel for that reason alone.
- 4/5
Nice remodeled place. Nothing special though
- 5/5
Very clean, spacious, loved the Kuerig in the room, micro, fridge. Automatic blinds so nice. Water refill and icemaker just off lobby very convenient. Just wish breakfast was included
- 4/5
The room was clean and well appointed. Location was east to find and convenient for what we wanted.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Great staffing and the area is nice . Business and plenty of options
- 1/5
Pour customer services
- 4/5
Was very surprised that the breakfast wasnt included in the stay. Didnt clean room had to go down and ask for new towels and washrags.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Dinning other than breakfast was unavailable, no sidewalks away from site made taxi or Uber a must to go even somewhere close.
- 5/5
As a guest, I was disappointed that I was charged $8 a night to park my car. How did you expect me to get there?
- 3/5
The bathroom was also smaller than I anticipated but everything else was nice. Nice and fast A/C unit, comfortable bed, front desk was pleasant, the hotel overall was quiet, the room was totally dark even when the sun was rising.
- 4/5
Great place to relax
- 4/5
It was easy to get clean towels and additional tissue! The only thing was parking fees.
- 4/5
The check-in process was slow as only one person was working at the front desk creating a bug waiting line. Also, the bathroom lacked an exhaust fan. Other than that, the room was very clean.
- 5/5
Away from the city. Great parking. Nice and clean.
- 4/5
My room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was nice. The elevators were both dirty, but my room was super clean. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Clean, well kept, well priced, and well located for easy access to several west suburbs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommended!
- 5/5
Its all good.
- 5/5
The room was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly. I liked that they had a nice gym and pool. I was disappointed that they had no complimentary breakfast and we had to pay to park.
- 2/5
My bathroom floor looked like it hadn’t been swept, the shower had long stringy hairs on the wall prep that wasn’t cleaned thoroughly and breakfast cost $17 for a basic breakfast that is usually free I won’t be coming back to this Hilton
- 4/5
Room was clean and cool.
- 5/5
Clean and up to date.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! Everyone is so incredibly friendly. The hotel is very clean and well appointed!
- 3/5
The Hotel is just ok and for that reason they shouldn’t charge for parking
- 2/5
The restaurant was closed, both days. The pantry has less items than my freezer at home (a few ice cream varieties) and the second floor ice machine was.... missing. Add to that, wide open parking lot that they charge you nightly to park in and WiFi that is throttled to the point of interoperability. (unless you buy the package that is free at the local Motel 6) Next time, stay at a Best Western, which also has no restaurant or pantry, but is closer to restaurants and it will be half, or less, of the cost.
- 1/5
Front desk staff was very rude. The event center next to the hotel lit off fireworks at 12:30am that were so loud we thought we were quite literally being shot at. Staff said nothing and was completely unhelpful when we inquired the next day if there would be fireworks again the next night.
- 5/5
Safe area
- 5/5
Swim meet. No late check out. Parking good.
- 3/5
I was grateful I didn’t have to pay for parking. It was also quite.
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and the room was spacious and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
Nickel-Dime charges were disappointing. $8 per night to park in an open suburban lot?? My booking included breakfast but I was presented a full bill for breakfast anyway. $3.00 per bottle of water in the room. Not a guest friendly experience that will bring me back.
- 1/5
The staff was so rude, there were so much ants and so dirty. The customer service did not help at all, they were charging extras so much! This bad hotel.
- 3/5
Hot tub and pool was broke
- 4/5
The property does not let you know if advance that you will be charged for parking in the hotel parking lot because it is a shared property with the Drury Lane Theater. They should include this information when you are booking.
- 5/5
Thanks for your great staff
- 1/5
I dont understand this hotel. They have a sign in the parking lot that tells people the area is unsafe to park there and you assume all liability if your car gets broken into. Then when you enter the building to check in they try to charge you to park in the lot that they assume no liability over?!?!? What a con!!! Park in the lot gets your car damaged AND you pay to park there but get no protections like insurance claims against the hotel? Very confusing.
- 3/5
Good location to high-end suburbs and Oakbrook Mall. Ample and close-in parking. Entire hotel is not at cleanliness level of a Hilton--pool and hot tub were both open but in BAD need of cleaning.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Room was clean. Would stay here again. Only thing that we didn’t like is breakfast wasn’t included you had to purchase buffet tickets per person.
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
Convenient location and very clean!
- 4/5
I liked staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. The only two small complaints that have are that when the doors of the rooms close on their own, they close pretty loudly. You can hear other room’s doors close in your own but it may be only a matter of adjusting the mechanism to make it close softer. The other issue I had was there was no bathroom fan so the moisture built up in there a bit.
- 3/5
Cleanliness ! Polite staff ! Pretty far out if you’re not driving yourself ( not close to anything : for walking distance ) Make sure to get the breakfast package cause it’s not free !!
- 5/5
beds are too hard
- 4/5
Room was clean with a lot of ways to charge devices.
- 3/5
Great location. Needs updating and thorough cleaning, especially in the lobby. Room smelled stale. Air conditioner would not stay on. It would only go on once the room was hot. Hard to sleep.
- 5/5
The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the woman that ran it was super friendly!
- 5/5
Nice room but I saw a lot of hair in the bathroom
- 5/5
Great location with plenty of parking, only downside is the 8$ parking fee
- 4/5
It was ok
- 5/5
Customer service
- 3/5
Ants in room, with no food present.
- 3/5
The front / lobby area and their breakfast area are incorporated and doesn’t feel like a Hilton property. The bathroom downstairs is old, smelly and needs remodel. But that is matter of remodel. What really got to me was how poor was the service upon arrival early morning. I was waiting for 4-5 minutes while the lady from buffet counter 20 feet away from the reception desk calling the lady that someone is in the Front and she would not come out. Finally when she came she was talking with her mouth full of food, everything I was asking her and the answer was a NO, I asked for her name and she gave me a wrong name and next day when I asked the Front desk people who were professional and nice they said no such person with this name works here! I will not go back to this property and I highly recommend the ownership to remodel the lobby area and separate the buffet and front desk area and train their staff properly, this is not a cheap motel off of a highway and has Hilton brand attach to it. Please train your staff in Hilton standards.
- 4/5
Staff were friendly and house keeping was clean. The location was closed to alot of variety restaurants and shopping centers.
- 4/5
Great except for terrible mildew smell in lobby
- 3/5
If you don't have a car, your option for food is limited. Also, the breakfast that was being offered for $17.00 looked like it had been sitting for hours. Additionally, I inquired about late check out for noon, and was told by the Desk Attendant on Tuesday, May 20th that the hotel was full. I checked on line and there was amble availability. That attendant also had an unpleasant attitude. Maybe she had a bad morning, but I did not cause it.
- 5/5
The hotel was being renovated but still very nice
- 1/5
I don’t usually like to complain about hotels but my A/C was very minimal and my room stayed around 75 degrees the entire two days I stayed, and I had the curtains drawn day and night. There was also a mechanical room next door to my room that had a piece of equipment that turned on and off and cause the wall to vibrate for 10-15 minutes.
- 2/5
They can do better on the kitchen food.
- 4/5
Very professional and customer friendly service at the check in counter
- 5/5
Clean, close to restaurants. Convenient for airport taxi next morning.
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 3/5
Overall, I had a wonderful experience. I wish we had been notified before our stay that there wasn’t a chef on site and that we had been compensated for this inconvenience.
- 2/5
The staff here completely ignored all of our request and really didn’t assist with anything they will act like they will but you come back to
- 5/5
We have stayed at this property for years.
- 5/5
Thanks
- 5/5
Friendly staff super clean delicious breakfast
- 5/5
We stayed from Thursday to Sunday morning & it was quiet the entire time we were there. Super clean. I have no complaints
- 5/5
good staff, clean, nuce big room
- 4/5
Very clean and very nice staff , only thing that was bothering was paying 8 dollars for parking , lot was practically empty I looked outside of downtown Chicago to avoid paying for parking and still ended up paying.
- 5/5
It was so clean & quiet. Definitely Would go back again in a few months.
- 5/5
Love the hotel, definitely gonna book it again when I come back to Chicago
- 3/5
Housekeeping knocking on door and opened the door at 9:30 am when I was sleeping
- 4/5
Enjoyed my stay. Easy access to shopping, dining and expressways. Only downside, especially in the suburbs is the charge for parking. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
- 5/5
Good customer seevice, convenient to all restaurants n mall. Very clean
- 4/5
Nothing special. Nice, clean, and reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 4/5
It was nice for the price, clean rooms and plenty of parking. The hotel was just a little outdated and elevators had tape on the floor. The elevators took a little time due to only being two of them and had a couple issues with the room key not working.
- 1/5
Ants in the room, freezing cold pool
- 5/5
The room needed a clock. There was only one complenmary tea. Whereas there was three for coffee Overall I liked staying at 1000 Dury Lane as opposed to my usual 10 Dury Lane. Whereas at the Hilton Suite, 10 Dury Lane you cannot adjust the temp. So the room is always cold.
- 5/5
30 minutes from Chicago, close to the airport. Nice location. Nice stuff, free parking. $20 dollars breakfast. Jacuzzi, pool and gym with peloton. Spacious room. Super clean.
- 3/5
This facility is being updated. However, everything is running well. The staff is very gracious. I recommend a stay here.
- 4/5
The room was comfortable and quiet!
- 3/5
Hotel charges $8/nightly for parking in a giant lot that's not over-populated at all. I did not see this indicated at the time of booking. They also charge $17 for what looked to be like a regular offering of what would be a continental breakfast. Elevator floor has broken tiles and is duct taped down. Room was clean, so I'm thankful for that. My car got door dinged/dented in the parking lot, so I'd suggest parking away from the main entrance, as people are awful.
- 5/5
Really good stay!
- 3/5
The tiles in the elevator were all broken up. That's an easy fix, but it looks like it's been that way for quite a while. The pool area was OK. Nice exercise room. Our icemaker didn't work...so we had to go to another floor. Not the end of the world, but still...
- 5/5
Thing is there is no smart tv but very quiet clean and comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Looking forward to when it's done.
- 5/5
We stayed here for a trade show held nearby at Drury Lane. Easy walk across the parking lot. Convenient. Clean and quiet.
- 5/5
parking is an additional cost, $8.00
- 4/5
Close to drury
- 3/5
It was a good hotel, but the wifi didnt work at all, i needed it for work, one of the front desk workers gave me free parking to try to make up for it, but truly it put a huge hamper on my stay, also room service apparently is every other day, but room service didnt even come to clean up after 2 days. The hotel was having carpets changed but for some reason the lobby smelled funky.
- 4/5
A young lady at check-in was careless with information regarding parking by explaining how we don’t really need to place the card on our dash. She seemed disgusted having to answer questions. Otherwise, the place is great.
- 5/5
I Did Not Like The Hilton Charges $6.00 a night to park This is the only hotel that I know of that charges to park in the area - a very petty charge Especially for a Hilton
- 4/5
.
- 1/5
It was fine. The property wasn’t the issue. It was my room accommodation and staff service
- 4/5
Very friendly staff, and clean property.
- 5/5
I think the heating unit under the window is old. It was noisy when it turned on other than that, room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, nice work area for computers, etc.
- 3/5
Mediocre
- 3/5
Intercom is not working, the heater was not working. We hads to move to another room
- 5/5
Great remodeled room. The staff was awesome. A stay to remember.
- 5/5
nice hotel friendly staff good food
- 5/5
Staff was great and extra nice! I would totally stay here again.
- 5/5
We stay at a lot of hotels and this was a good one! Staff were all very friendly- from checkout to food service. Room was spacious and clean.
- 5/5
Great location
- 1/5
Front Desk was Extremely Rude. There are exposed Electrical Wires above the shower, and there's 100 ants crawling from behind the peeling wallpaper next to the bed. I've NEVER left a hotel feeling so disgusting in my life. We came so my wife could use the accessible roll in shower because she just had a hip replacement. I feel horrible for her, and will now have to try another location. Because I feel filthier than when I got here
- 3/5
The bottom drawer of the chest of drawers stays partially open, causing a potential hazard to trip over. The carpets are stained, worn out and dirty.
- 2/5
Once we entered the lobby, strong smell of dust and odor. Our room had a sock from the prior guests by the window which means the floor wasn’t vacuumed? I used to have good experience with Garden Inn but not this time. Bad experience.
- 5/5
