Room must not be sound proof neighbor sounded like we were in the same room. Hotel staff would not move me to another. Cracks and ceiling and base boards run down.. they have party downstairs Friday night loud and people that were not hotel guest roaming

Although an IHG member, I was not offered my usual amenities which I get even if booked through Expedia. Expedia is always given the worst locations of rooms. I was down a hall quire a distance from the elevator. There were six rooms, and I was the only one down there. Rather uncomfortable for a single woman traveler. LOved having a few slot machines in the restaurant/bar area!!!

Two night stay for work. Room was fine and heat / air worked well. Probably wasn’t as clean as I expected. Elevator floor was dirty, trash can outside had trash overflowing the whole time. The outside looked worse for wear. Staff was friendly.

Hotel was dirty. Same spots on the floor by the elevator every day that they didn't clean. No hot water for the shower. Parking was terrible with no spots available to park. No housekeepers spoke English. Had to call every day for toilet paper, staff didn't take out garbage. Just not a good experience.

i stayed two night, they never came in to clean the room after my first night they just changed the towels what a cheap lazy hotel staff.

We checked in which was easy, but we had to drive around the parking lot for 25 minutes to find a spot. They have a Bar Louie restaurant in the building which takes up all the spots. This was after 9:30 pm as well.

Upon checking in the Parking lot was full of cars for the club and there was two big coach buses taking up the rest of the lot the next morning breakfast was little to none due to guest on the buses grabbing as much as possible soon as they refilled all the food , last but not least as I was laying in bed watching tv a housekeeper walked right into my room without knocking and this was before 10am I thought it was my husband returning from breakfast smh would I stay here again NEVER

I was double charge for my stay when I called the hotel the only thing he mentioned was because of the night audit they had charged me for 2 nights but what is disturbing is that they never reversed the chsrge I am glad I had checked my account otherwise they would of gotten away with it..not ver ethical in my point of view still waiting for my refund

The room was not very clean. Bathroom was dusty around the outlets. I usually like the holiday inns, but not this one. There was trash still under the beds. I found a glass cylinder that resembled a broken pipe(used for drugs) under the bed in the room my kids stayed in. Breakfast was a plus though.

The hotel was terrible. I had to cancel my reservation after being bitten by bed bugs several times. It was a very bad experience and I will not repeat it again.

The room was clean. Check in was prompt. The TV did not work. Someone checked on it but did not fix it. The bar attached to the hotel overcharged us and treated us rudely, saying they were not a cheap bar and 2 domestic beers were $18, even though the bill read different things than what we actually received. Tip was included on the bill as well. We honestly would not have tipped that much for two beers and poor service.

Picked hotel for location and its rating. The smell in the room was strong of chemicals. The bedding was never changed nor fixed. The elevator was loud at night.

The breakfast buffet was really good with many options. Although, a gluten free option would have been nice, I was able to navigate my intolerance well.

Then we were told to wait 5 minutes as the water was being filled. There was an oily film on the water. A staff person came in with the pool chemicals and we were told we couldn’t go in until 5. At 5 the oily spots were better but not gone. We went in and the water was freezing! I noticed the tiles on the side of the pool were dirty and chipped

Good location to Drury Lane Theater The room could have been better. For 200 dollars for one night the bed should have been more neatly made, floor and tile in room broken up, toilet did not flush well. Just should have been nicer for what we paid.

Location The room was clean. The hotel seemed like it went through a renovation but it was poorly done. It gave were vibes. The entrance was a little strange. You had to walk through a maze of hallways before coming to the front desk. I also think there was a random homeless guy in the entrance hallway. The staff was borderline unfriendly. They didn’t say much and it seemed like checking it was a bother to them. The price was competitive but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The outlets under the TV were not working, as well as the USB chargers. Overall, the room was painted sloppily, very little attention to detail. The breakfast was not worth the $7 per person. I would have enjoyed spending that money elsewhere. Of the EIGHT screw holes for attaching it, the control-panel for the elevator was being held on by TWO - so the entire button panel could swing back and forth. Not the highest quality hotel. I'm not sure where the "3-star" rating comes from, but I'm going to stop going by that.

It’s should be open all year every day The maintenance should be able to work on it at night or get the parts in or get a contractor in to make the repairs but the pool should remain open from 8 AM to 10 PM They couldn’t give me a clear explanation of why it was closed. That was my only disappointment.

This hotel is amazing. I didn't know what to expect because it's been many many years since I stayed at a Holiday Inn probably over 15 years this one is excellent. The staff is great Muhammad and Malka were professional and customer service oriented. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The restaurant in the building Bar Louie has great food. The location is great I could go on and on I will be definitely coming back here. The breakfast is a buffet and it's unbelievable low price but it's very delicious food

My first room was a disaster with the ceiling falling down. I have videos. I should not have to pay for this stay

I was in there for a moment and knew had I slept in that room my health would have been compromised. I went to front desk and requested another room due to this and was accommodated to another floor and the air quality was improved but while I was resting I felt something on my arm and noticed it was a bed bug, I immediately recorded the incident and gathered my belongings grateful that I had not brought out any of my possessions went back to the front desk asked for the manager owner and or operator Information and he gave me a card assured me I would’ve followed up with and contacted as I showed him the video and shred with him my critical situation. Unfortunately, this situation has not been resolved and based on the experience I will be sure to never return to this property based on these negative experiences.

Room smelled musty, had a stuffy nose. Parking was actually so stressful, not what you want after driving all day. Room was clean and comfortable. Very old but bed was nice.

Room was clean for the most part, but i did notice makeup on the bathroom floor and at the doorway of the room. Also, loud music played late. Stairway could use a paintjob.

Definitely seen better and more modern. Compared to other Holiday Inn, this location, the room alone, is below par.

Everything was very good. My only issue was it took awhile for the water to get warm, and I would have felt safer getting into the tub if there were no slip treads. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked very well and quiet. The desk staff very friendly. Definitely would stay here again.

Down in the restaurant earlier Sunday night we order wine both glasses on wine was listed on menu for $11.79 but when i recorded my tab one glass was 11.79 and the other 15.00 worker waiter said prices change all the time. This morning the breakfast was okay and pleasant waiter. At check out i told front desk about the room being cold . And worker said you should have turn on heater.

The room was very outdated and had a smell. There is a plumbing issue with the tub. Took a shower and the water filled in the tub. It took forever for the tub to empty. I won't stay at this hotel again. I will stay at a Hyatt and if it means I have to pay more money then so be it.

Ongoing construction in front of the property requiring side entrance. Had to wait in the lobby for 5-7 minutes before staff assisted, no staff at front desk upon arrival. Breakfast was good, ran out of bacon and sausage.

I had an overnight stay in a standard King. Pros: free parking, free wifi, clean room, a comfy bed and microwave with refrigerator and in room safe. Having a room with BOTH a fridge and microwave is awesome! A lot of hotels only offer a fridge. Bar Louie is on premises and there's an eat in seafood/steak restaurant (Devon's) next door and and drive about a mile east and there's lots of restaurants and shopping at the mall. The cost for the room is very reasonable! The check in was quick and stafffront desk was friendly. The only cons are bathroom is too small and a minor con - wall paint was very obviously done with without primer and rushed which looked a little sloppy in some sections, no streaming services, just basic cable with one HBO channel. Despite, the cons,I had a very nice stay-cation!

Room was humid and the carpet of the hotel room was wet. It was so humid it made all the clothes in my suitcase wet and when asked if they had a dehumidifier they just came in and sprayed Lysol all over the carpet. The smell was so strong we had to leave the hotel room for the day. Do not recommend staying here for the price we paid.

The halls were dirty and smelled bad. There were trash bags filled with trash in the hall for 2 days. The toilet in our room was installed incorrectly and leaned to the side. The hot water took over 5 minutes to start working in the shower. There was no closet to hang clothes in - I am a professional and wear clothes that need to be hung. There was no blow dryer. The soap/shampoo/conditioner were awful - definitely bring your own.

Overall, the property would’ve been acceptable had it not been for the roaches that I found in my room! That and the rude behavior of the employees took it over the top! (front desk, check in and breakfast buffet host)

This hotel has “crib available” listed in amenities. After a cancelled flight we ended up here with our 7mo old at midnight. At check in, the two people at the desk were helping people in front of us for an eternity just to check in - I got the impression they didn’t know what they were doing. During our check in, I asked about a crib, and the front desk employee first acted like he didn’t know what a crib was, then he told me they didn’t have one. I felt like he didn’t know what I was asking for so I confirmed again, and he said “like for babies?”…no like MTV cribs. Yes for babies, I’m friggin holding on…he said no again, but it seemed like he just had no idea and didn’t want to find out, so no crib for the night. In the room, the bathroom was dirty and the toilet barely flushed. Otherwise the room was acceptable.

I have frequented this property for OVER 15 years. It has rapidly declined. The room was not cleaned appropriately. There was old food in the refrigerator that had been there for some time. There were literally 3 Kleenex in the tissue box… no back up box to be found. The pool…. disgusting. Not being maintained and cleaned. Swimming ends too, too early for the summertime….7:00 p.m. The outdoor area is in shambles. Seating is not organized… things were just haphazardly laying around. It’s time for an overhaul. I have well over 20+ stays & will not return to the hotel. Other than for Bar Louie’s…. it’s a NO for me until a remodel or new ownership. I’m sad to have to go.

Unfortunately, during my most recent stay this past weekend, I encountered an issue I’ve never experienced before. I found what appeared to be roaches or bedbugs in my room. I immediately reported this to the front desk and submitted photos as requested. I was told that someone would follow up with me, but it has now been nearly a week and I have yet to hear back. As a loyal guest, I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of response. I would appreciate an update on how this situation is being handled, and what steps the hotel is taking to address it.

The bed was comfortable but ended up seeing tiny bugs don’t know where they came from so upset and the shower was horrible water was everywhere. Under the bed was filthy they don’t clean properly I’m glad I brought cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom.

I like the location and staff was friendly. The next morning after our first night we discovered that the comforter was soiled with human secretions. We alerted staff and they were prompt to remove the comforter from our room and replaced it with a clean comforter. A robe was left hanging on the bathroom door with leads me to think housekeeping doesn’t thoroughly check the rooms. Pool close so early we didn’t get a chance to use it. We will give it another shot when we travel back to the area.

This is my second time staying at the Holiday Inn. I stayed at a Holiday Inn in Austin Texas very very nice facility versus this Holiday Inn in Oak Brook. I guess they’re trying to catch up (upgrade various areas in the future) but overall the room I stayed in was set up really nice. The restaurant the bartenders were fabulous. The breakfast options could be a little bit more better.

Our stay was great, the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was a nice size and could've probably used some deep cleaning but the main areas were clean.

Younger individuals may not find it unappealing, however there is a bar in the lobby that is more like a very saturated club on Friday and Saturday nights. Most if not all of the young ladies are scantily dressed (bottoms partially showing, club gear more like beach attire). Lots of drunken behavior. Approached by a young woman who was clearly a drug addicted (super thin, pasty skin, wide stare). Stay included my teenage daughter so my guard was up and we did not leave hotel room until morning.

Would not recommend. We arrived and had zero parking available because the bar inside of the hotel was packed. We were unaware a bar louie was attached. Once we checked in we were told to park at the local seafood place once they closed. After getting lucky with snagging a parking spot as a bar goer left, we got to our room and was not happy with the quality. The bathroom sink was cracked and detaching from the countertop. The toilet seat was broken and felt unsafe to sit on without it falling off or apart. The bed sheets had small stains on them as if they were not thoroughly cleaned the night before. The noise lingered from the bar and the bar goers in the parking lot right outside even though we were on one of the top floors. Overall did not love the stay. Especially for the price.

The pool, as soon as we walked in the chlorine smell was eye-watering strong! Getting in it made the skin feel slimy there was so much chlorine. I have experienced staff walk into my room and use the spare key to steal my money from the safety deposit. I will not trust any money and the safety deposit as the stuff you was spare key stole your money and your credit card. Be careful.
