The room was the only negative. The bathroom and room vents were disgusting, and the A/C had a mind of its own. Other than that, I did not use the gym or the small pool.

Staff was nice unfortunately there was some issues with the guests next door and didn’t let us sleep. The tub wasn’t clean; there was dirt and hairs inside of it

The hotel was okay. Bedroom was good, bed was comfortable. Bathroom needed touch up rust stains in the tub, paint in the bathroom peeling. The elevator was really dirty I told the front desk staff. The staff were friendly and they had the best sweet tea and cookies upon check in. I would stay again the hotel just need some renovations.

We just kind of sunk there. Also the people in the room above us seemed like they were stomping on the ceiling until about 12:00am. Finally at 5:07am the refrigerator in our room started clicking and I had to unplug it. Then it started leaking water in the floor. It appears that it had done this before because the ceramic tiles around it were loose. There was also rust in the bathtub and the lights above the headboards had dust hanging off of them.

The room was decent with the exception of bathroom. The bathroom was horrible. Toilet wouldn’t stop running and the tub would not drain. When showering I had to bathe in stages to avoid the standing water.

The staff was nice on the phone and checking in. But the hotel was very poorly renovated with loose tiles and dirty showers. But even worse was we had to call 911 at 1:30 am in fear of our lives. It was so scary and we had no communication when things were safe again. I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was great...beds were comfy (even the pullout sofa bed according to my daughter), temp was easily controlled, all things good. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL...much more than I was expecting for a free breakfast. Omelets, biscuits, gravy, sausage, yogurt, cinnamon rolls (probably better than I've made myself), pancakes, fruit, etc. My whole family (2 adults and 3 kids) found something to start our day right. The lady that kept breakfast stocked was SO kind and made sure that there was plenty there for everyone. The rest of the staff were just as kind and friendly...and not "fake kind" and "this is just a job friendly." They laughed with us and were very genuine. We travel often and can say that this is one of the best places we've stayed. We'll definitely choose this HIX when we visit the area again!

Breakfast is always so good. The cinnamon rolls are my favorite. The staff is *always* super nice and friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The only thing we had an issue with someone stomping in their room what seemed like all night. We also had a dog next door but that was swiftly dealt with. We visit here often and this is always where we stay. Highly recommend.

The room was not touched by housekeeping the entire stay. We had to request clean towels/rags, trash bags and tidied up ourselves. The breakfast was less than desirable. The room itself was standard but definitely not clean.

The staff was friendly and very nice. The room however was awful. The tile floor had not been properly adhered to the subfloor. The tiles were cracked in some place and in others would lift up as you walked on them. It sounded like you were walking on broken glass. The hand towel holder kept falling off every time you took a towel off. The light bulbs needed to be changed one was out and the other flickered. When we asked if we can change rooms we were told no due to it being full.

Staff were extremely friendly but cleanliness of building was poor. The weight room equipment was bad, the eliptical was broken and had missing weights. Dinning area was very tidy and clean for breakfast though which I appreciated and food was delicious.

I am only giving them a 3 because of the front desk clerk Fred, the manager Sherman, and the gentleman who I believe was named Curtis(he works maintenance I think) otherwise the score would be much lower. I will rate these 3 employees a5 but the hotel a 2. After checking in on Saturday, January 30, everything appeared fine. The room appeared clean maybe a little dated but clean We went out to eat and did a little shopping and returned to settle in for the night. Keep in mind we are staying here for some respite after an ice storm ravaged our community and left us without power for days. Around 1 am, my daughter called from her room to say she thought she had discovered a bed bug on her pillow. I immediately went to see for myself and upon looking indeed it was a bedbug. I took a picture and went to the front desk and told Mr. Fred and he moved my children to a new room. The next day Ms. Sheena talked with us and gave us information to email the home office regarding this situation. She was very helpful and kind. I have yet to hear anything from the home office. This could be a decent hotel with some updates and a thorough cleaning. Kudos to the staff for being so understanding and handling things in the manner that they did.

First room heat didn’t work at all,would not come on. Front desk gave us second room. Parking was limited lots of construction trucks with trailers taking up 3 to 4 spots each. Front desk told us we could park at restaurant next door ol’ she was CB out of suggestions. Heat was working when we went to bed toasty warm woke up and room was cold as ice. Room was clean and modern. This stay was not typical of reviews on here. Also room phones do not work

The property located on next to the highway. But not up to the mark of holiday inn. For example, due to Christmas Eve and Christmas, the staff were less and so the trash cans were not cleaned. There wasn’t no hot breakfast on Christmas Day. Bit it didn’t mention in the website when booking,

Complete water outage throughout Hotel and no remedy offered nor concern for when it would be on. Told that the outage was in the entire city which was a lie. Had to leave Hotel and seek other lodging in the city at an increased expense due to last minute booking. New Location had plenty water and in the same city! Impression was that the story was rehearsed leading one to believe this type of occurance was routine

All my issues were in the bathroom, shower curtain was in terrible condition, curtain rod was coming out of the wall on one side. While I appreciate clean towels the smell of bleach was very strong.

If you like dirty bathroom floors, crumbs left on the counters, and suspicious stains on the linens this hotel is for you.

The room had a smell. All night we heard the traffic on the highway as if we were sleeping on the highway itself. They didn’t have a coffee maker in the room. There breakfast area didn’t open until 7:00 and the refrigerator wasn’t working so they had to throw away all the milk and yogurt. The only thing they had going for them was the young lady at the desk was very pleasant.

The room we got was not very clean. There was Bobby pins left on the floor, something sticky on the carpet, and just generally not clean. Also the floor felt like it was sinking, like angled down from the wall. I’ve stayed at a bunch of different Holiday Inn express’ before, this was by far the worst condition.

The beds were extremely comfortable!!! The staff provided amazing customer service. I noticed a smell from the shower curtain. The front desk apologized and provided me with a clean one with no hesitation. The staff ensured we had clean towels daily and offered us cookies. My sister & I will return to this location!!!!

We had a great time at the hotel with family also staying there for a wedding near there. All the staff was great especially Sheena and Elissa. They were personable, responsible, fun to talk to, and really made our stay even better!!

The hotel was great, but Expedia completely sucks, and I will never use them again! Furthermore, I will tell everyone I know to never, ever, use them either! When we got there, our reservation had not been made; however the money had been deducted from my account, and I had been sent an Expedia confirmation number a week prior ensuring my reservation, which was absolutely useless when trying to check into the hotel that had no idea we were even coming. Like, it was your one job to book the hotel I paid for. I’ll never use Expedia again.

The staff was wonderful. They were friendly and smiling. the breakfast staff went out of their way to make sure we had enough food and even found a mustard package for my sausage biscuit. You should get some mustard! We will surely stay there again on our way back home next week.

Although this hotel had a nice lobby, pool, and good breakfast our room was not what we anticipated. Our check in was smooth and the staff was nice and accommodating. Our room not so much. There were cracks in the tile that moved when you walked on them, the tub had rust stains in it and the toilet paper appeared to have been wet and just dried out to be reused. One of my smaller children had an accident in the bed and instead of changing the sheets the bed was just made up when we returned to our room. So the bed was still wet and the room had an odor. Now that we have been home in the last 36 hours my entire family is sick with fevers, chills, headaches, and overall not feeling well. Not sure what cause of all of this but the symptoms did not show until Wednesday morning when we began to check out. Not the best stay but it got the job done.

Overall the hotel and property are nice, its above average for this type of hotel. What sets it apart and increases the experience for me is the staff, particularly the front desk girls, they are all super polite, helpful and friendly. I've stayed here multiple times.

Unfortunately I booked because I needed space for a group of 5. It was so dirty. The walls were filthy with brown and orange stains . We didn’t want to shower. We woke up early and drive over 3hrs back home, for a proper shower. You should value your property as if it’s a 5 star hotel, and only hire staff who feel the same. I don’t care that’s it an holiday inn, I would be known for the cleanest holiday inn in the city. Also, someone was parked at the front door smoking weed when we returned . Never again.

Check in was smooth and hospitable. Unfortunately, our family was woke up around 2 am by the sound of a man and woman outside in a profanity filled altercation that lasted for almost 30 minutes. Needless to say it made it hard to get back to sleep. I don’t think we will stay in this location again.

This was just a quick place for us to sleep off the interstate & worked well for us. Staff was friendly. Biggest issue was there was hair just kinda all over the bathroom floor & found a few strands in the bed linen. But the bed was comfy enough for us to lay our exhausted heads for a few hours.

This was an unexpected trip for a Family medical situation. Being very tired from an unexpected long drive, It was pleasant and comforting to be greeted by such a welcoming and cheerful young lady at the desk check-in who was very helpful and kind with everything. Very much appreciated a very clean room with a comfortable bed. And the breakfast was very good and a good variety. Every staff member that I saw was extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed.

Exceptional staff with a nice breakfast in the morning. Hotel was in disrepair and although it was being upgraded, the transition stage unfortunately did not present the hotel in a great light.
