I was forced to vacate the unit due to credible death threats made against me by an occupant living next door. The property manager was notified of the situation. Prior to my departure, the neighboring occupant physically assaulted both me and my service dog. Due to concerns for my safety and wellbeing, I had no choice but to leave the premises

You pay for what you get. I guess. Didn’t realize anything under $70 is just not a great experience nowadays. It wasn’t clean. The staff was nice at least.

There was poop on the ceiling. A plastic baggy was tied around the smoke detector. The entire hotel smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Really unfortunate that I had to stay because there wasn’t a cancellation and the front desk person was rude

I got what I paid for. Loud annoying neighbors with kid crying and dog barking. A fire alarm that went off constantly thru the night. No extras in room you might find in other places like coffee, hair dryer, iron, microwave, refrigerator. Also, had to go outside to another building just to get ice. Next time will pay few dollars more and stay somewhere else.

When I entered into bathroom, I found a very long hairs on toilet, and bath. It’s disgusting

Please do NOT get a room here. No matter how cheap it is. It looks horrible from the outside and on the inside. There is no elevator. Bedding had burn marks all over it so did the chair and everything else there. I let management know and they told me they asked “what did you expect? You ordered a smoking room.” The hallway also smelled like smoke and very loud in the hallway. I would NOT suggest this location. The manager barely wanted to refund me.

Terrible - smell like cigarette and pot smoke even in a non-smoking room.

Guy at front desk has a really bad attitude and hates doing his job. He threatened to not let me check in and not give me a refund. Also said he would jump over the counter if I rang the bell one more time (I walked in and there was a sign saying “be back in 15”) I don’t know how long that was there for before I got there. He got mad and was unimaginably rude.

I would have liked a refrigerator in the room. Otherwise everything else was excellent.

Drug deals going on outside. Looks like you’d be stabbed in the parking lot. Creepy crawl space inside the bedroom. It was non smoking but it smelled like an ashtray. My children didn’t feel safe. Checked the beds for bugs only to see dirty sheets.

There were cigarette holes in everything. Nasty.

There was a baby roach when i lifted the phone. I bring disinfectant wipes, i wipe everything, the chairs was dirty.

There was nothing great about this motel. Its outdate had issues getting back into room. The area is shady not enough restaurants near by. The bed are crappy rooms r very small they give you throw size pillows. Comforter is uncomfortable shower is set up for people 5' or smaller. Would not recommend this motel for any stay. It is good for a dog motel because there are plenty of dogs in rooms barking as you walk by.

The smells musty

I was given a key that doesnt work, i tried 2 entry doors, i had lots to carry with me. It was very frustrating.

It smelled like cigarette smoke and urine. There were adult men screaming at the top of their lungs into the night and early morning. It appears that people live there. There was bullet proof glass at the front counter and "we are not responsible for stollen items" signs everywhere! I felt unsafe and DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Never found the free breakfast, I did find good coffee and the ice wasn't too bad ,staff was very friendly, not the quietest motel. Its was great after a long day!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Motel 6 Palatine, IL - Chicago Northwest due to being out late and in need of a place to stay for the night. The highlight of our stay was the friendly and personable front desk clerk. However, we were disappointed by the overall environment of the motel. The hallways had an unpleasant odor, and we found hairs on the sheets. This prompted us to purchase Lysol spray from Walgreens in order to sanitize the bedding and the entire room before we felt comfortable enough to sleep. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with a negative impression, and we do not plan on returning to this establishment in the future.

I would never stay here again.it was hair on the towels the room had a strong smell of smoke even the pillows have the smell of smoke. It was hard to sleep because of the noise.

This property was sparsely occupied and the smoke free rooms have 0 ability to keep the smoke from the smoking rooms from intruding into your room, I stayed all of 20mins before requesting a refund and heading to the doubletree about 5miles south

The toilet seat was covered in dry urine. I had to clean it.

The facility was quiet and easy to check into. The staff was responsive, and kind and I was able to gt checked in quickly without any issues.

Only complaint about the facility is that I am 6’3” tall and the shower heads hit me in the chest. Who can take a shower like that?

It was what I would expect from an inexpensive motel (based on today's inflated prices). I was surprised that they did not even have shampoo, but the service and cleanliness were fine and coffee was provided in the lobby in the morning. The motel seemed to have an "institutional" feel to it, mostly due to its age.

THE PLACE HAS BURN HOLES IN THE BLANKETS, IN THE SMOKEING ROOMS. I also told the staff about seeing roaches, In the bathrooms of two different rooms we have stayed in. They also need to wash the sheets better, and wash the blankets better.

Even though there are no smoking sign, but they let people smoking inside the rooms. I wake up like smell like a cigarette! Heater takes extremely long time to heat up the room! With that kind of room doesn't deserve this kind of room rate! I am totally disappointed!!!!!!

When we arrived the check in was terrible. She was very rude. Asking us why we were ringing the doorbell. Well she wasnt at the counter and we were trying to check in. My wife and i were dressed nice it was a beautiful sunny 70 something degree day, we traveled from out of town to go to an event and the lady was very rude again and said oh so you guys think this weather is going to stay this way? I was taken back. We were enjoying the day and trying to enjoy our time which was ruined right away. Not inviting at all. She sould not be allowed to talk to guest's that way. Shes the first person to greet the guests and she was very IGNORANT! Theres much more which i will be contacting the proper personal accordingly.

Arrived at hotel at 10pm. Was told by front desk they did not my reservation from Expedia. Front desk found a cancellation. I never canceled. I had to go find another hotel at 10 pm.Do not stay at this motel 6.

My stay was just OK maybe. I didn't get into my room until around 11PM and was woken up by the cleaning lady pounding on my door asking to conduct her room service at 9AM. Check out is not until 11AM . In my opinion I paid for a 24 hour visit inside a room not why I was not granted privacy for the short time I was actually in the room.

The staff was very nice, but the room in this location didn't have a microwave or refrigerator which made the stay not pleasant.

The plane was not safe or a place I would ever visit again. It reeked if smoke, the walls were thin and when you flush the toilet it makes a sound for 5 minutes

I don't know if it was okay or not for the upfront staffer who had me checked in so when I checked out, I had to tell the morning upfront office clerk that before I checked in yesterday, I made reservations. One thing I noticed about the place was that there was no elevator.

I liked my room. Clean. The bathroom sink was clogged. Room next to exit door. People coming in/out Laughing/talking loudly. Above my room noisy customer making loud noises between 2-3 a.m. Friendly female front desk employee. Helpful employee. Motel exterior is a dump. Period. Homeless people hanging around outside/near hotel/parking lot (including a family with children). Sections of parking lot NOT well lit. What did I like: Motel 6 was near restaurants, shopping, expressway and grocery stores.

The woman who checked me in was on the phone the whole time. There was a guy smoking crack in the hallway. The worst!

Worst hotel. Non smoking room reeked of smoke and urine. Cell-like rooms. Hallways stunk. Grim atmosphere. Wouldn’t expect to pay this price for what it is.

Front desk staff were so kind, and the room was nice and tidy. Overall a pleasant place to stay without breaking the bank.

For the price, this place is good enough. They’re certainly making the best of things. Small updates here and there go a long way. I like the no carpet, updated furniture in the lobby, and the new paint.

Yikes. The lack of care is apparent. We have been to cheaper places, that were nicer. Not to metion, the cigarette holes in all the sheets, and the smallest pillow ever. One. For two people

keeping bad smell

We were scheduled to stay for a week, but a family emergency came up and we needed to extend our stay several times. Management and staff were easy to communicate with and work with, as well as understanding of our situation. Would definitely recommend.

I have tried to contact you about my stay 2 different bad incidents with the manager and his wife his wife one was the manager walked right into my room when I Was in the bed and a few other incidents I've tried to contact you about this I've never got a response everything is pretty much OK at the motel but the manager seems to have a bad attitude with me and I stay there for work at weeks at a time and I'm not happy

The building smelled of purple fabuloso, which was comforting in its familiarity. Front desk staff was polite and efficient. Room was clean and functional.

We reserved a room with a queen bed, however we were given a room with a full bed instead. When we went to the office to request a room with a queen bed, the girl said she needed to call her boss. Once on the phone, her boss said, all rooms have a queen bed. NOT true, I have a queen bed and knew that we were stuck in a full size bed for two for two nights.

This Motel 6 was close to friends in the area and low-priced. The lobby area had bullet-proof glass, locked doors and no seating, so it could have been more welcoming. Still I'm satisfied overall.
