Excellent time there !

The complimentary continental breakfast was a great convenience for our early mornings, with a variety of options for both kids and adults. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. We had a very positive experience and would stay here again.

What I like about the residence and Marriott at Pleasanton was it was very clean. My room was so nice. my bed was so comfortable and the linens were clean the fresh. The kitchen was clean. It was fully stacked with dishes and glasses and plates, knives and forks. Everything you would need when you’re away from home. I love the big screen TV in the front room and the small TV in the bedroom. The shower was excellent. I would stay here again and again and again I would give them a 10 star if I could.

What disappointed me most was that nobody informed me before arrival. If the hotel could not honor the room type I reserved, they should have contacted me so I could have made other arrangements for my family. Saying that Expedia did not provide guest information does not seem accurate, as reservation details are normally shared with the hotel. When I asked whether any discount or compensation could be offered due to the downgrade, I was told no. The response felt dismissive, and I was asked if I was staying or not. Since it was late and I was traveling with my children, finding another hotel at the last minute was not practical. I expected much better customer service from a Marriott-branded property. Mistakes can happen, but how they are handled matters. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing

Overall my stay was okay. The complementary breakfast was better than most. I wasn't satisfied with location of my room. It was right by the elevator and above the basketball court. Hearing a ball bounce at night wasn't cool.

Too, there is not a magnifying mirror to apply make-up, so bring your own. Be extremely careful driving out onto the frontage road. The yellow flowering roses are in full bloom and it makes it very hard to see oncoming cars coming around the corner.

Was only a short over night stay. Property was very clean and looked newly renovated. Suite was well laid out and had tons of amenities. Nice large shower and bathroom. Only negative was the mattress was very thin and hard. And the pillows were flat as well.

Our room was spotless! Staff were very nice checking in and checking out!! Breakfast was so good for being hotel food! Fresh fruit, oatmeal, I think there was a waffle station, bacon, mini sausage egg biscuit sandwiches, etc!! There were even good cereals for adults and kids. I will be back! It was spectacular here.

The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is because room 222's AC barely work. This past weekend was hot and the room I dont think ever got below 70 degrees. We pretty much slept, uncovered because the room never cooled down.

I paid on the site for the daily rate when I get to the hotel they charge me $150 extra so I don’t know why it was like that

Did not receive a very friendly greeting. Not even smile. I was visiting from out of town for a medical procedure and wanted to get somewhere nice to stay so I would be comfortable. It was really disappointing for the price that I paid. Inside my room looking at the door, you could see the hallway. That’s how big the crack was. At night, the refrigerator would make this knocking noise as if there was somebody knocking at the door loudly. When the fan would turn on and off, it was so loud that it literally made me jump in my bed. I hardly slept and then had a long drive home the next day.

Joy, front desk at night, she’s awesome! We just looked for a hotel for an overnight stay because we dis not want to go home and be back at Dublin the next day! Booked the room @8 pm, she went above and beyond! We even asked for toothpastes and toothbrushes for all four of us! Excellent customer service!!!

Clean room. Great breakfast lots of food choices. Great parking with security people walking the parking area.

The air conditioner was LOUD. Fortunately, the facilities man brought up a portable air conditioner. It was loud but at least it wasn’t right next to the bed.

Our goto place when staying in the area. Clean, spacious rooms, with comfortable beds and a small kitchen. The complimentary breakfast is one of the better ones that we have found.

My 2day stay was wonderful. The staff were friendly and very efficient. The room clean and comfortable. The issue I had while checking out was no one’s fault. I filled my luggage cart and got out of the building ok. Problem occurred in parking lot. The slope to the parking area behind the hotel caused me to loose control of the luggage cart and it tipped over. The shape of the carts along with the fact there is no way to stop them on a downward spiral kind of put a dent in my ( up til that moment) beautiful stay was jarring. I will take more precautions next time I use the carts, however, I thought it worth mentioning as I see it could happen again to someone traveling alone.

The first thing that stood out upon arriving for check in was the warm greeting from Joy at the front desk. She checked me in an answered questions I had about reservations I made for an additional room. I encountered her a few more times during my stay. I had occasion to visit the front desk and make calls to them during my stay. She was there with the same warmth. I truly felt like a valued guest.

The staff were nice. Easy check in and out. The suite was clean and had utensils, pot and pan to cook. Will stay there again.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The renovated spacious suite with a comfortable bed makes for an enjoyable longer stay. The complimentary breakfast is excellent with varying choices from day-to-day.

Rm 136 Accessible 2bd suite. Notified front desk of issues with bdrm w/roll-in shower. Someone (assume prev guest) trashed it: broke hook on door, then clogged the shower drain! Spouse took shower (fortunately last day) then discovered entire bathrm in a pool of water! Also heating vent in room was either closed or inoperational. 2nd bdrm/ba was fine, no problems. Staff was excellent, location convenient, good parking, useful to have full kitchen.

A clean, spacious room with a sitting area, a comfortable bed, and a mini-kitchen, makes this a great place to stay if you are spending a few nights in the area. A decent continental breakfast is also provided.

The room was very nice and clean. We went with two toddlers. The only bad thing was outside of our room in the parking lot, which is close to the room doors. Someone kept smoking weed. The smell was not in the room, but as soon as you step outside, it just smell like weed.

Had a great stay over Thanksgiving! Easy check in/out and the staff were very friendly. They did have some type of maintenance issue and had to turn the water off for several hours, but we were notified ahead of time. The room was quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again!

Our boys had an amazing time swimming in the pool, and they enjoyed it even in the freezing cold weather!

Breakfast really surprised me—various offerings from cold items to warm and tasty breakfast foods. They even switched an item or two out to offer variety. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. A few ants in the kitchen and a seemingly broken bathroom fan/vent were really the only drawbacks, and neither hampered our stay much, so I would absolutely book again— maybe in warmer weather to take advantage of the pool and lounge areas outdoors that looked so inviting!

Our truck window was broken, they stole a gym bag with boxing gear. Manager didnt offer any comps for our loss. We were in Parking lot with the police at 1:30 am , they were taking a report.

Quick and easy

There was a blinking light on the bedroom ceiling that had a strobe light effect. It was a fire/carbon monoxide unit that flashed brightly every few seconds. Very annoying. Not restful at all. I have never had that happen and informed the front desk. They were aware and mentioned that they receive complaints about it all the time but will not change it. Also, this hotel is located next to a busy freeway and BART train system. Noisy at night. Plus, the offramp has the CHP patrol cars pulling vehicles over and the bright blue lights shine into the window. Not a good stay at all.

Professional, genuinely kind, courteous, knowledgeable staff who always go the extra mile to create an excellent guest experience!

Flashing light is distracting though in bedrooms

Room was very nice and spacious, but I was next to the elevators and could hear the machinery running. Common areas were very clean and there was a good variety during breakfast hours.

The first girl we approached to check in was not nice or helpful. This was around 3ish. The 2nd time we came back to check in thw lady was super nice. The wall on the bathroom where you shut the door wlwas falling off as they replastered it or tried to super glue it back up. That would have been ok as we were only staying 1 night but my bay who is only 1 kept trying to get to the plaster that kept falling off everytime the door was shut. Something also was burning our eyes, im not sure if it was coming from vents of ppl cooking but all of our eyes were burning

The room was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked. There was no hair dryer. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and breakfast items restocked frequently.

It was a very pleasant stay. Entering towards the front desk is a spacious waiting area looking into a great room with 2 huge big screen tv's. Check in was simple with staff, who were professional, friendly, courteous and helpful. The suite was clean and roomy... nothing out of order. Being on the ground floor, our suite was exceptionally quiet. Morning breakfast buffet had a huge selection of hot and cold foods, fresh fruits, organic eggs, soufflé, waffles & more. The breakfast staff (2) were super. They made sure nothing was low or empty. Coffee was never empty. There is still an outdoor pool and indoor gym. Something for everyone. Will come back again!

The surrounding areas of the city of Dublin and Pleasanton had excellent food choices. Everything was available from a quick drive through burger to a fine dining restaurant with white table cloths. We enjoyed it all. The beds in the hotel are very comfortable. Noticed that the pillows were getting a little worn down since my last visit about a year ago. Also the bathroom shower doors are tall…at the very tops of the doors there is a noticeable accumulation of mold ( probably not noticed by cleaning staff).

The breakfast was substandard although the coffee was good.

I like the fact it was quiet. Breakfast options were good. Staff were helpful. I didn’t like that by the time we checked in they just had handicap rooms. I was looking for a tube to relax. We used the pool and it was dirty.

Excellent customer service from the front desk. They really saved the day when my flight was delayed for many hours. The property is definitely a little loud, being next to the freeway. But i like the complimentary breakfast and the room was clean.

My son has gross motor challenges and autism, so I requested to be near the main amenities for both safety and ease. The staff was incredibly understanding and moved us from a separate building into the main one. From there, we could walk right out our door, through the pool patio, and directly into the breakfast area. That small change made a big difference for us, and I’m so grateful for their flexibility. The team was consistently kind, respectful, and genuinely considerate toward my son. You could tell they were not only professional, but also compassionate and patient, which means everything to a parent navigating special accommodations. We also used the hotel’s grocery run service at 9 AM, and it was flawless. They picked up everything on our list, and the staff member even called me once to confirm if I wanted to swap an item that wasn’t available—she went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we needed. If you’re traveling with children, especially those with special needs, I can’t recommend this location enough. This was our second time staying here and just like the first, Check-in was a breeze and staff offered great customer service. The room was clean & spacious. During the complimentary breakfast the next day staff made sure to have everything cleaned and restocked in the breakfast area.

It was a good location, I wish that the speciality coffee maker worked. The couch mattress was old and flat, not comfortable at all. We found food on the floor with was a French fry and dried fruit, housekeeping can do a better job. But overall it was ok

No elevator repair people were in evidence on site as it is the evening. Staff were regretted the problem and were apologetic, but were unable to help beyond offering two bottles of water. Room was clean/fresh/new, and carpet looks brand new. Staff is nice, but not empowered to help the guest.

Conveniently located, could take streets or freeways. Close to places we were going. Had a 2bd 2ba unit with full kitchen and it was GREAT. Definitely would stay again!

Check in was good. It was a nice option to check in a little early. Bummed my preferance of a top floor corner wasn't met but tried to balance it out with checking in early. Pool was not lit so not spa or swimming after dark was a disappointment. Fold out sofa bed was incredibily uncomfortable and didn't know where extra bedding was stored in room. Check out was unclear if keys were ok to leave in room or required to be turned in.

Residence Inns have always been good places to stay for me. This one was not up to par for this stay. I was on the ground floor in a 1 bedroom room. From 12am on there was a party above us with pounding music and loud talking. I got up to go call, and then it stopped, so I figured someone else must have complained. Then it started up again. In the morning I went to the front desk and told them what happened, and the desk clerk's reply was he would make a note of it. Also the morning breakfast was not as good as usual for this chain. The eggs were terribly dry because of overcooking, same with the meat. Overall, if you are used to normal Residence Inn experiences, I don't recommend this hotel

We had a great stay at the Marriott Residence Inn. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with pots and pans, etc.. The hotel was quiet and plenty of parking. The only mishap was an inoperable barbecue grill when we had already purchased steaks to grill. But thankful that we had a kitchen to take our food back to cook. Highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and great but the safety lock didn’t work on our door. Maintenance came to fix it but I don’t think it ended up locking in the end.

Good size room has everything we needed and with a full small kitchen and a full size fridge with own ice! Only downsize is the water pressure was super weak when showering.

The hotel staff were super friendly and attentive. Not having arrived with a car the local shuttle service was a real bonus! The breakfast buffet varied each day and was delicious. I appreciate real dishes - mug for coffee, etc during a hotel stay. Overall I was very pleased and will stay again!

A bit of freeway noise that even 2 sets of window panes cannot completely muffle. The room was on the side closest to freeway. Probably 10-15 minute drive to mall, grocery, dining. Good access to Pleasanton and San Ramon. Excellent value for cost.

Everything was great! The staff was friendly, the breakfast was nice and everything was clean! The only slight negative was our room had a weird smell. Not horrible but not good either. Seemed to go away by the next day!
