Staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking and outdoor lighting for security was very good. The location is quiet yet close to business, restaurants. The Bistro is definitely limited and expensive. No good place to do your makeup, and no appropriate mirrors for this. Also, the super bright fluorescent light in bathroom vanity area is on a motion sensor that comes on every time you pass through to the bathroom in the middle of the night. This was disturbing for both of us.

There were no amenities. You had to pay for parking, no breakfast unless you pay, wouldn’t stay again

The staff made clerical errors during our check in making the check in process frustrating. The property is old, but the rooms are clean and nice. They did allow a late checkout, and the location is walkable to several restaurants.

The room that was assigned to us had air in the water pipes. Every 15-30 seconds there was a loud pinging noise from in the pipes that wouldn’t stop. It got worse when we had to use the faucet or bathroom. Sadly, this kept us up all night because of how loud and constant it was. Unfortunately we were not aware of this issue until we actually checked into the room, which was late at night. When we informed the front desk the next day, they only stated they would “comp our single day parking fee”. However, we paid through Expedia so there were no charges that they could refund.
- 5/5
Very clean, spacious room, nice staff, good food at restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if in the area.
- 1/5
When I raised the issue again the next morning, the front desk staff simply responded with a brief apology and took no further action. I was very surprised by this level of response, especially given Marriott’s standards. Unfortunately, this experience fell well below expectations, and I will not stay at this property again.

Stayed Tuesday night before Thanksgiving. Front desk service was not rude but seemed inconvenienced by our presence. Were confused by our booking that included “food credit” stayed in a king suite. Suite was technically clean but old. Stained carpet. Small TVs. Bathroom was updated but layout was not refined even for this price point. Beds were nice. Apparently they were fixing roof so even on first floor got noisy at 7:45am.

Clean, and friendlybstaff!

I liked the decoration, but most of all I liked the bed and the pillows were very nice and clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Just a toilet had a little spot inside the bowl

This was a great choice for a hotel to utilize for work travel while in the area. The rooms were spacious, and I appreciated having a micro-Starbucks for a quick coffee in the morning before heading to the office, and the check-in, check-out process was a breeze.

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff was courteous. However, on our second night, guests hosted a huge party and there was loud screaming and music until 2 am. My husband went down to the front desk three times until security came up to deal with the horde of party guests occupying the room. Security might need to be beefed up at this particular hotel.

We've been to the Scottish Games in Pleasanton, CA for the last 3 years to watch friends compete in bagpiping. Lots of other things going on and always a great vibe. We stay at a nearby Courtyard by Marriott and it was a very pleasant stay. Extremely quiet and comfortable King bed room. Only downside was the onsite cafe, which was quite pricey even by Bay Area standards we thought. Food and service very good, convenience a plus for our party - no trying to find the "right" place away from our home base that everyone could agree on. Breakfast especially good. It's why we come back to Courtyard often.
- 3/5
The room was clean, the bed was starting to get lumpy, the staff (it least what we saw of them) were courteous, there was no Breakfast (for what this room cost there should have at least been something), and the Air condition was Loud, when it came on. Luckily the nights were cool and it didn't come on that often.. Oh, did I say it was loud..!!
- 5/5
Overall great facility, however, wished there was more than one elevator location.
- 4/5
Everything was fine, but the room was showing it's age.
- 3/5
Noisy in room air conditioner came during evening. Older property they need to spend some money on
- 3/5
Reasonable price for an older hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the room had some updates. The TV didn't work, and the walls are thin.
- 5/5
Great location, good dinning, comfortable room
- 3/5
It’s not as close to Main Street as it appears
- 2/5
I liked that I was not next to an elevator, but there was definitely a lack of communication on house cleaning services. I requested everyday and they said it was every other day. We were out of towels and coffee - there was no cream or sugar in room - we had to hunt down a cleaning person to get add'l items. They also were supposed to prove us with a Microwave and when I checked in they said they did not provide that.
- 3/5
The location of the property is excellent. The staff members we encountered were all friendly and professional. The room was adequate and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that the room was a little dusty and the refrigerator in the room did not work.
- 4/5
Noisey with the restaurant next to our room
- 5/5
Great Location many food choices within walking distance.
- 5/5
After the fun, I had a great night's sleep in my beautiful room! The next morning, I went to the Bistro in the lobby area and picked up a Starbucks latte and a delicious breakfast sandwich with fresh fruit cup. Members of our party had gathered in a semi private area (in the lobby), where we relived the highlights of the previous night with joy and laughter! Another perfect Marriott stay💕
- 2/5
There was no hot water to shower. They had been having problems with it for awhile and did not inform me when I checked in. Choose another hotel.

Very nice staff, great lobby thank you!
- 5/5
I was greeted with a friendly Hello, when I walked in the door . I was an asked my name and quickly checked in. No problems at all.
- 2/5
The ac leaked and the room smelled bad and they charge 7.25 for parking which is ridiculously stupid as i gues why pay for parking and the price was more because if that. Only thing that was goid which we appreciate was the taking some money off the total because of the leaking ac unit. Because of that we will be going back giid compensation
- 4/5
Nice property in an office complex neighborhood. No drama..corporate and not particularly appealing but fine.

Everything was great! Pleasantly surprised!
- 4/5
Room was decent. Staff were friendly. Room was clean, but average. Halls were very dark. Hotel itself was hard to find. Hidden by vegetation and had a very small sign.
- 4/5
Only complaint? If you forget your toothbrush, buy one at the little convenience area. You wouldn’t think a free toothbrush could be bad. Trust me. 😂
- 5/5
.was in perfect location for the next day event.
- 5/5
Went for a wedding, and would easily stay there again if we ever had to be in the area. Front staff was great, made us feel comfortable, checkout was solid, definitely would recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
- 4/5
I know Marriott offers cleaning every other day or not at all during your stay. I definitely chose the alternate day cleaning, but in my five night stay I didn't get any change of towels or any cleaning until after the fourth night
- 4/5
Was not shown where my room was. As such it would have been easier to drive my car around to the rear entrance and unload my luggage.
- 4/5
Clean basic property
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, comfortable. Good value. I would return.
- 2/5
There were very loud people shouting and also arguing in the hallway outside our room at different times late at night (1:00am and later) . It was enough to wake me up repeatedly at very late hours.
- 5/5
It’s been years since I’ve stayed back here at Courtyard Pleasanton. I’m glad I chose this place for my one night stay - staff are still friendly, the hotel itself and the room was clean and quiet. Decent rates considering location.
- 5/5
Very fast check in service, room was clean and comfortable. A very easy drive from downtown Pleasanton.

- 5/5
We loved the ambiance in the lobby and clean rooms. Very friendly staff. But the outside of the hotel building itself is old, dirty and an ugly color and needs a painting.
- 4/5
Checkin was easy. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Convenient location. The bistro was a little pricey but convenient. Checkout was easy. All in all a good place to stay and price was good too.
- 5/5
We found the room to be excellent. Clean and well furnished. Front desk staff were very good and very helpful. It was a quiet location and a quick trip to Stanford hospital. Did not try the Bistro for breakfast or night activities but it looked like a reasonable priced inhouse breakfast otherwise walk three blocks to Denny's. The fireplace in the lobby was a quiet place to find a peaceful retreat. Parking was great and free. Weekday prices were a reasonable as you can get. Would definitely stay there again.
- 2/5
This was the filthiest Marriott I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were nice but I experienced several issues, and had to get housekeeping to my room to clean a disgusting bathroom “already cleaned.” I’m not impressed by this property in the slightest. I do not recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
The staff is very helpful and courteous. They respond to questions quickly.
- 5/5
-Didn't like Starbucks taking over breakfast. This was not a smooth transition for them. We were surprised at the prices even though we paid for breakfast upfront. Thankfully, thankfully, Inez reported the problem (w/o our expecting it) and we were refunded the money. Be prepared to pay $7 for a bottle of OJ. Please take back the concession. Everyone we saw in front of us (mostly seniors like us) skipped eating there.
- 5/5
Property was recently redone and was very clean. Very roomy and the bed was very comfortable
- 4/5
The property works. Location and price were what we were looking for
- 5/5
was very clean and updated
- 2/5
The bathroom was not clean. Found the shower dirty with old Bobbie pins on the shampoo rack. Also was not notified at time of booking that there was a $7.50 per night charge for parking. Are they kidding? It’s just a parking lot shared with other businesses with no extra security. Couldn’t believe it and their justification was that the Four Seasons next to them charges as well. We won’t be staying there again for sure.
- 5/5
Excellent and quiet. Don’t like that of paying parking . After already for the hotel that is on the high side in price
- 5/5
great place to stay quiet & close to everything very comfortable beds
- 5/5
We stayed her because it was close to wedding venue & had decent reviews. Good price, easy check in, recently remodeled, bar & grill kind of food options. Not a real restaurant, but tasty. Overall a good experience
- 4/5
The room was big and spacious; however, it was not the room I paid for. It was very clean and comfortable. There were many handrails installed in the bathroom and in good placement.
- 4/5
the hotel and its surrounding are nice. My room is clean and the space is good. My reservation included free breakfast which is ok but not great. The only complaint is the hotel charge $10 for parking on their lot which is an exception to other hotels ( such as : Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn ....etc ).
- 3/5
Also, because I reserved the room through Hotels.com, Marriott had a hard time linking the stay with my Marriott rewards account number. All-in-all, I like Marriotts and this one was okay, but I won't stay at that one again. There are too many options in the area.
- 3/5
We had to ask for more soap, coffee for 2 people instead of 1. Outlet did not work in bathroom to use hair dryer. No breakfast included, but had a $$ bistro/Starbucks. For the price, breakfast should have been included.
- 3/5
Rooms were small. No glasses in room. Single sink in bathroom and toilet, closet and sink made it very hard for 2 people to use facilities. Glitch in the safety lock kept us out of our room until well after midnight.
- 5/5
Great clean place!
- 4/5
I don't like that you charge for parking
- 4/5
Was surprised that there was a parking fee, other than that and no microwave the experience was excellent

The room were updated and nice. We might come back if we are in the area again.
- 4/5
Our room was as expected, clean, and in good condition. The facility itself was in mostly good shape. There were some areas being renovated that were a little dirty, but that's to be expected. Most of the amenities I wanted to use were closed during our stay, sadly. There is a small onsite cafe and Starbucks. Both are outrageously priced. The beds are okay, but very firm. The pillows are thin and soft. The building is quite large and the elevator is nowhere near the lobby; it is at the complete opposite end of the the building. It made our trek with a bell cart full of stuff a bit of a journey, but whatever. All in all, we were happy with our stay. We didn't encounter any major issues.
- 5/5
everything was great
- 5/5
Our family always looks for a good value hotel that fits our budget. And we can say that the Courtyard is a good deal for the price you pay. You get your money's worth. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful, which added to our positive first impression. We encountered a slight issue with our room's lock, but a maintenance worker arrived within five minutes of us reporting the problem. Initially, I had booked a king-sized bed for my daughter and me, but my daughter was a bit disappointed after we got to the room. However, the front desk staff accommodated our request quickly, and we could switch to a new room with two beds. Additionally, I requested a late checkout since our flight back to Chicago isn't until after 11 pm, and the staff was more than willing to put in a request for us. The manager was helping the front staff during our room change request and when the maintenance person came to fix our lock. So far, our experience has been very positive, and we feel very much at home in our two separate beds. ;-) One thing I would suggest is to have few couple of decorative items such as paintings, dry flowers, etc. - just couple.
- 3/5
1) You need a bigger sign for this hotel: I could not find it while driving, (2) the property needs more maintenance and cleanliness: our sink did not have hot water the first day
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. Went above and beyond for us
- 5/5
The staff was nice the room was nice and clean.
- 5/5
It was a nice stay. Friendly helpful front desk staff. No issues.
- 5/5
As expected. Very clean & comfortable hotel
- 4/5
Helpful staff and clean, quiet room. Would stay again.
- 5/5
The only issues we had was that the refrigerator compressor went off in the middle of the night and I had to unplug it...Plus we were surprised we were charged for parking. We stay there when we visit our son in Pleasanton and this is the first time they have charge for parking. Seems unnecessary since it is a large parking lot and there is no valet.
- 5/5
Check in was super easy and the front desk personnel that helped us was extremely friendly
- 5/5
Easy to get to. Clean and safe
- 4/5
The only problem we experienced was the policy of having the rooms made up every other day which we were not informed of when we checked in. When we returned to the room on the second day we had no clean towels or coffee for the next morning. These were supplied upon request but this seemed inconvenient. The management did agree to give us daily maid service which was sometimes done and sometimes not.
- 3/5
Quiet area. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Freeway less than 5 minutes away. The mattress in our room has had it days. Any slight movement and the springs were sounding off. Other than that not too busy. Breakfast decent. 15-20 minute Uber ride to the Palm Event Center and Casa Ruby vineyards if you’re attending an event.
- 4/5
Very nice place to stay, but parking on site is not free.
