First room was dirty. Key cards constantly weren’t working. Back door to the pool was broken. No ice machines. Breakfast was just grab and go. Not enough staff.

Nothing They dont let you check in until 2:45 pm. The bed was so old and uncomfortable. The walls are so thin you can hear everything coming from next door room. The shower faucet is so old it was almost breaking. It is a run down over rated place.
- 2/5
My room smelled so much like cigarette all day long till next day.
- 2/5
Breakfast consisted of muffins and oatmeal; coffee was OK Bathroom faucet only had a spray mode; very unsatisfactory. Had to bring up my own plates and silverware rather than staff deliver them. Halls smelled of cooking from other units (lots of garlic) Could not get closed captions to work on the TV; very frustrating; staff not willing to help when it was convenient. Sheets on King bed did not fit properly

Location is good 1. There are people smoking weed inside the property and its smell is all over the place. 2. They don’t provide with the any utensils and have to ask them. 3. There’s a table to work but no chair. 4. Breakfast is just a coffee with a walmart muffin and fruit bar.

I met three staff during my stay and only one of them is friendly. Book this room because it can sleep 4 people. However there is no extra pillow, blankets and bedsheet for the other two guests. I need to go to lobby to request. The amenities include breakfast buffet but only coffee and energy bar is served on a small counter. Kind of felt cheated. I’m expecting to eat something simple before heading to the road but ended up I need to find a place for breakfast. The room have no shampoo, conditioner nor a hair dryer. Never stay at a hotel with no hairdryer. The room smells with broken coffee table. I did not expect Extended Stay America can be such a bad quality.

Cons: They said they were out of shampoo and so I had to buy some. Pool was closed and that was one of the reasons I booked the property. Room smelt like curry but didn’t bother me enough to ask for another room. Sum it up: Breakfast is just coffee, tea and a granola bar or muffin but that is all you need because you can stock your fridge for what you need and have a full kitchen. The place works great for the price and for my needs of my trip. I would stay here again but I will call to make sure pool is open and bring my own shampoo.

The pool was out of order and was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel.

The prooerty was in great condition. Just remember to bring your own toiletries. There were no body wash and the soap wasn't very good. Also the breakfast they say they have, was a joke. I don't call some coffee that wasnt ready, and a multi gran bar breakfast. Other than that, the rooms were very clean

I really wrist. I read the reviews before I stayed here my adult son and I needed a place to chill for three days. Hotels.com has no clue on what they promote on their website regarding this hotel. I picked the hotel because it had a kitchenette, a pool and a continental breakfast all three of them were incorrect. The pool is closed. The continental breakfast was a grab and go. It was cold water down coffee instant oatmeal, and granola bars the kitchen was non-functioning one of the stoves barely worked, and there was no kitchen items in room. I had to request them and it wasn’t everything that was even listed on the website. It was filthy. Staff was rude. The entire hotel smelled like smoke. My feet were black from walking around the floor in the hotel room. The air-conditioning was falling apart you could see the dirt and filth that it had of been cleaning years. It was mold all around the bathtub. I reported it to the staff. None of them seemed to care. Avoid this hotel at all cost hotels.com really doesn’t care about what they put on their website.

I like every thing about the hotel, closed to my church.

location was very good. breakfast was good anything very good no problems, coffee was very good, good services of the employees. parking was very good closed to the room. great place closed to main street. I like every thing about the hotel, closed to my church.

The pool was the only saving grace for this property and of course it was out of commission when I stayed there. Friendly staff but this place is not recommended for families or anyone trying to enjoy their stay. For work or not needing to actually be in your room much - it’s fine. My room smelled horribly like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. Pretty clean surprisingly but the photos definitely make it look better than it is.
- 1/5
Extremely loud and the non/-smoking rooms smell like smoke and weed. Loud people at all hours and we had a party of 5 and they wouldn’t give us more than 2 towels at a time. Doors don’t close properly so we didn’t feel very safe with the people walking around at all hours and the staff did nothing to help. Housekeeping was nice. Rooms are gross and falling apart.
- 3/5
Waited 30 mins for someone to show up to desk, room was disgusting, sticky floors, holes in walls, just not nice at all

People who stay there appear to be people who have bad credit and can’t rent a traditional apartment. A lot of people just hanging out in front and in their cars. Most smell like they have been smoking a little something. I did not feel safe at all. And, the rooms were in horrible condition. Large stains on counter, many dents in fridge. Desk falling apart and paint coming off. Furniture was dark colors, the room was not white and bright like shown in the pics. Not a family friendly place. The people who give this place good ratings must be owners or friends. Only good thing was that they refunded my money when I told them I didn’t want to stay there because of how unsafe I felt.
- 3/5
our floor had an awful smell. I am assuming it came from the room labeled Trash room. Also, in room that a bed for 2 people you should have at least 4 pillows. And please consider better pillows. I had the worst sleep with the 1 very small pillow i had.

My room was spotless the couch looked like it had holes poked it.
- 3/5
Remote control needed new batteries. Patch jobs on the wall need paint.
- 3/5
There were dirty sheets folded into the pull out bed and no clean ones available for almost an hour. As well so no advertisement warning people they are actively under construction.
- 2/5
There was no maid service. The breakfast selection was a joke and my shower barely worked.

This was going to be an unexpected stay due to a horrible traffic jam going home. I got to stay in Pleasanton not only the great price, but I was amazed that all those kept up compared to other hotels. Good location however the elevators were broken so past the second floor would’ve been a little inconvenient. You have to request shampoo. And the breakfast is very minimal.

We checked out on 8/30/25 and we left a glass electric tea kettle in the room. We noticed the missing kettle on 9/21/25 and I called the hotel and spoke to Anil at the front desk. Anil said he did find the kettle from Rm#113 and he will leave the kettle at the front desk tomorrow (9/22/25) so that we can come by and pick it up since we will be in that neighborhood. We went by the hotel around 9pm, Anil was off his shift, but the other guy at front desk said he was not told of any kettle need to be picked up. I had a back surgery on 9/23/25 and did not follow up this matter until 9/26/25. When I finally got hold of Anil on Friday (9/26/25), he told me he made a mistake. He actually did not find a water kettle in the room. It just sounds fishy. First he said he had it, then he said no. I think he is trying to cover up something. They should have contacted me the day I checked out when they found I left the kettle behind. It was a very nice product which I kind of missed. I think they are not honest people and ripped off my kettle.

- 2/5
Staff were surly.
- 2/5
Sorry, but bed was hard as a rock, toilet paper holder broken before I even got there, no ice machine, refrigerator was small with open door Tiny freezer, carpet stained and frayed.
- 2/5
So frustrating when the pool is closed and they don't even give you a discount or tell you ahead of time. Very disappointing
- 4/5
We've used Extended-Stays across the country and will continue to do so as long as the rates remain reasonable. One problem noticed at Pleasanton were squatters and apparent homeless individuals sharing one room and avoiding staff. Further was the stuffy airflow in the hallways that reeked, a little, of cooking. We noted this in Miami as well. Suggest remediation of air flow to maintain a fresh atmosphere in the hallways.
- 1/5
The swimming pool was under repair. We chose this motel for the pool in anticipation of the 100 degree weather. The bathroom linen had holes and the kitchen had absolutely NOTHING in it. A dog was barking in the room across the hall ALL night. I will NEVER stay at one of their hotels again.
- 2/5
I feel like you can spend an another $30 and have a much more comfortable experience.
- 4/5
Was ok until vagrant types came into lobby causing safety concerns for me and my sister visiting in the lobby. Also claims of breakfast included but no coffee/no breakfast. A cereal bar and nothing else coffee was gone and not replaced. No no breakfast at all
- 3/5
The freezer in our refrigerator did not work. We wasted a 1/2 gallon of ice cream and the water in the ice trays never froze. The water in the shower never got hot...we settled for luke warm showers.
- 2/5
Not what I was expecting based on the photos. This was more of an apartment complex feeling than a longer stay hotel. Not clean, but it was fairly quiet.
- 4/5
Breakfast was not great at all. Bed was very firm/springy
- 5/5

- 4/5
It was a good stay and Jackie at the front desk was amazing. Give her a raise lol. I will definitely be back.
- 1/5
This is a horrible place to stay. Customer service is non existent. From the start of our stay there was no one at the front desk and when a young kid finally showed up he was annoyed at having to check us in. The room we were given on the third floor STANK. The smell was so awful that my daughter became ill for the rest of the stay. The door was broken, the locks were broken and the fixtures in the bathroom were being held up by some kind of putty. When I went down to request a room change another guest was complaining about stain and urinated sheets. He was smart and left. The boy told me he could do anything for me. After insisting he gave me a smaller room which was dingy and dirty. Pull out sofa was dirty, then the sheets and pillows had stains and we awoke with big bites on our body. The room was horrible! And the breakfast, ha! It’s a coffee pot that was always empty and placed on a mantle surrounded by trash! The staff can’t even keep the coffee clean. There is never anyone around. This place is horrible and I am disappointed that this website hides the bad reviews and only places the good one first. This isn’t a hotel it’s an apartment building because clearly people live here full time.

Our family stayed for a night. It was in a good and safe location. The room was clean and had to-go breakfast
- 2/5
Lots of loud stomping/banging(?), not sure what it was but it was loud and excessive. Shower pressure was a drizzle at best and paint in the bathroom was severely chipping and peeling. I had booked 4 nights but had to check out after 2 nights after losing my job. (I travel for work…) I talked to the front desk staff and was told I had to contact the 3rd part app. I contacted them and they claim that they had to have permission from the hotel, I submitted a ticket for the app to contact the hotel…after a couple of days I received and email that after several attempts they could not come to an agreement with the hotel and I wouldn’t receive my money back.
- 2/5
No one was at the counter and once at there to help didn’t speak clearly or loud enough, while assisting me they stopped and took another customer and started helping them and pushed me aside. Room wasn’t clean. Floors under the bed looked like they hadn’t been touched there was shredded toilet paper looked like and soil spots and roaches crawled out from the tv.
- 2/5
The room initially given to me was filthy and all mess is visible on the floor. Food , trash everywhere and the bed was not made. Upon asking for another room, I got a cleaner room with a promise of 1-2 nights free room to make customer happy. But I was not given that when I asked during check out. There is no house keeping. Everything is self service, basically you are in an apartment in short term basis. Even cleaner room gives stench when walking into the room. Otherwise it is in a good location and have basic need items bed, bath, kitchenette, tv and ac.
- 5/5
Great experience fantastic staff usually always helpful, rooms are clean and maid service are great! The rates are reasonable especially for an extended stay! Decent area usually very quiet. Lots of families usually here so a decent spot if you have little ones.
- 3/5
The room was comfortable and clean but there was no hot water in the shower. I was in room 107.

- 4/5
My adult daughter and I liked the property and found it a comfortable stay for our one night. However, my daughter was approached by what she described as an undesirable other traveler at the hotel when she went for coffee in the a.m. She did not recommend we stay there again because of that.

Employee “Alex”was a nice surprise. She carried some of my dish set to my room, offered a coffee maker, was always pleasant, and professional, and a nice change from the lack of customer service that I usually encounter with this franchise

- 2/5
Door handle to room 319 was broken so it only opened when lifted upward. A/C fan was very noisy and a lot of people in hotel have dogs which bark randomly through the night. The room is amazing besides all that.
- 1/5
First night we brought pizza to our room to wake up at 2am with roaches all over it. We switch room the next morning. Just a terrible experience
- 4/5
Our stay was good, the room was nice but the breakfast was very disappointing.
- 5/5
Super quiet & way cleaner, bigger, newer & much nicer than San Ramon! Glad I stayed here!
- 4/5
It was pleasant
- 3/5
The outlet on the wall at the kitchen area didn’t work. You have to empty the trash by yourself. You have to get Everything u need from the front desk. The shampoo should be provided in the room
- 3/5
Rooms smelled and no toiletries or blow dryer
- 2/5
Smelly! Shower broken, only tub tap worked but not shower head. Kitchen floor sticky.
- 3/5
My stay was from Monday night to check out Thursday. 2 of the 3 nights I stayed, the fire alarm went off twice in a row, late at night and at 6 am. My key card was disabled once. On my last night I went down to the lobby to figure out if I could do a late checkout, the gentleman at the front said I could do a late checkout at no extra charge, and asked what time I needed. Since I stayed for school, I requested 4 pm and he said it wouldn’t be a problem and would notate it for my room. The next day my family member that came with me was being harassed at 12 pm to leave the room. When I called the front desk to ask why this was happening they claimed they didn’t know “why this happened or why the person at the front desk told me what he told me and that they needed to charge me an extra night.” I had the vehicle and was not able to leave to get my family member. The person at the front desk and I argued for a while until they apologized for the staffs lack of training and allowed my family member to stay until 3:30 pm at no extra cost. The only reason I have them 3 stars is because they did what they could to remedy the situation. I would not stay here again if the cost of a standard room is more that $100 a night. This was a convenient location and that was it. Also the “breakfast” is more like a snack counter, banana, granola bar, or a black coffee.
- 5/5
Very nice place and staff were friendly
- 2/5
I had stayed at this site in the past but this time the room was not clean. The desk chair had something spilled on the back and seat. The carpet had actual debris that I could pick up with my fingers and I did and place in the trash. It should have been vacuumed but was not and the bathroom floor was also not clean until I placed towels to cover most of the bathroom floor. The dishes supplied with the room needed cleaning prior to use. A pan in particular had black gunk that was easily removed with dish determent and a sponge.
- 2/5
We got a room with a pull out bed, but the hotel had no linens or pillows for the bed. We went to the desk to ask more than once and each time we were told they have no more pillows and linens. So my kids are supposed to sleep on a bare mattress with no blanket or pillow. Unacceptable.
- 1/5
smell is not good inside lotta smoke
- 5/5
The breakfast menu was excellent and they have free laundry and an amazing gym.
- 4/5
there was a cockroach in my room. and when i informed the front desk they didnt seem surprised. i asked for a bug spray and they did not have any
- 5/5
Quiet and affordable place to stay with helpful staff.
- 2/5
The room smell very bad a cigarette
- 2/5
I saw a spider there and told it to them. They said we'll see later. Is that possible? no clean.
- 5/5
Clean, love that extended stay has a kitchen so we can cook and not need to go out.
- 1/5
Starting with the staff, they were not welcoming at all. The property was not clean and the smell was unbearable including the elevator.
- 2/5
The property was a bit worn down.
- 4/5
Excellent staff but limited by corporate mandates. Grab and go breakfast was meager but enough. I would recommend not staying more than 6-7 nights as cleaning is only done on your departure unless you pay a housekeeping fee for each cleaning and linen change. Even for the modest nightly fee once a week linen and room cleaning is not too much to ask for a total weekly bill. Rooms are Marriott Courtyard quality and very comfortable.
- 1/5
I received a dirty room and then keys to another room that didnt work and at the end needed to cut the trip a little short and no refund was available.
- 3/5
not clean
- 2/5
Staff took time to listen to my problem. Room was terrible, seems run down. Broken fridge shelvings, patches on wall and not painted, missing closet hang bar, no hangers, bathroom sink drain (j trap) leaking, heating and air unit goes on every 7-10 mins, pull out sofabed unconfortable. Carpet stains...
- 4/5
Area felt safe. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchenette but it could use some upgrading. The halls had a smell and carpet was dirty. The “breakfast” was lacking. They had two types of small muffins, coffee, hot chocolate and tea.
- 1/5
Shower valve would not allow you to change the temperature of the water, and it was cold. Wall lamp was broken and was dangling down. Noisy hallways. Never Again! Room #138
- 2/5
The halls smelled like trash and wet dogs. The room also had a bad smell.
- 3/5
Bugs in the kitchen and bathroom. Disgusting old kitchen appliances.

- 3/5
Everything was good. Just A bit smelly and no hot water.

Was put in a handicap room with broken shower and bed. Smelled funky
- 5/5
Room was very cozy.
- 2/5
Staff was great but everything else wasn’t great. Seemed like most people were living in the hotel and didn’t feel safe. Broken glass in parking area lots of people walking around at all times of the night. Room was run down and hallways were hot and smelled bad.
- 1/5
Missing light cover in the bathroom. No plates or cookware available. Overall a bad place to stay.
- 3/5
The customer service was amazing, they took care of my family and I, but unfortunately the room was terrible there sofa bed was bloody, rusty, dirty but once bought to knowledge they took care of the problem asap made sure my family was safe and put into a cleaner room.
- 5/5
The room was so quiet, clean and comfortable 👍
- 5/5
Property is clean and in a safe area. Rooms were perfect for my family of four. We enjoyed our stay!
- 3/5
Really old rooms and lot of things were missing. The bed in the sofa was low quality and hard to sleep
- 1/5
The room was dirty with human hair on the floor, dead cockroach in the room, very loud AC and fridge, super bright light outside my room and no blackout shades. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke and people went out the door to outside all night long. Four Points by Sheraton was the same cost and a much, much nicer property.
- 3/5
The rooms do not have any shampoo or soaps. There is a kitchen area but no glasses, plates or cutlery are supplied in the kitchen. This was disappointing. When we needed assistance at the front desk, it appeared no one was available. After waiting and walking around the lobby, there was an employee sitting just out of sight. Who ignored or did not notice me until I made an excessive amount of noise.
- 5/5
The worker are so nice.
- 2/5
The room smelled like cigarettes even though we were in a non-smoking room. The faucet in the bathroom leaked, the couch was uncomfortable, the drawers on the inside were dirty, the door wouldn’t open right away when accessing it with the key, and one of the guests looked “shady.” I chose this location to get great quality and feel safe. This didn’t meet my expections.

Check in took over 30 minutes after 11pm. I was given a handicap room. Noisy all night.
- 2/5
No TV remote for the room. Told the front desk, who let me try a few spairs, but no luck.
- 4/5
This place was a little bit run down compared to the Hyatt right next door but the price was good. My room had a slight odor to it which I did not enjoy but other than that it was great. Spacious and full kitchen.
- 5/5
Fine value for price. Some conveniences walkable, others with just a short drive.
- 2/5
They started tearing apart the sidewalk. It was dusty and very noisy
- 5/5
Was nice to have a clean room
- 5/5
For only a one night stay, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with no issues or disruptions whatsoever. We had never stayed here before but will definitely stay again in the future.
