The staff was very friendly and helpful in any way. The room was spacious and clean. The washer and dryer worked good as well. The only thing was that the elevator was not working at the time so it was just very inconvenient carrying all of our luggage up and down stairs.

I love the location. It was a little bit older of a property, but very comfortable. It was walkable to the beach, which was fabulous. We had the two bedroom two bathroom apartment with a full kitchen. Only the elevator that was super loud and rickety, but definitely not an issue worked just fine.

Location next to beach, and beach is private, very few people Apartment is very spacious, four people didn't bother each other, two balconies, great views, kitchen and appliances in a good condition, beds are comfortable, good WiFi suitable for work AC is very noisy, especially in smaller bedroom, people who slept there didn't feel comfortable

This was the second time we've stayed at the Surfsider. The first time was five years ago, in May 2021. Miss Sam took good care of us both times. Camilo & Cinnamon were very accommodating, too. Cinnamon even printed out a map to the Cuban restaurant we were trying out for the first time. This place is a hidden gem. My only complaint was the hot water in the second bathroom wasn't working when I showered but my husband was also showering in the master bath so that probably accounts for it. Other than that, we have no complaints. We will still choose Surfsider next time we go to Florida.

All the staff were absolutely wonderful. The view of the canal was beautiful. We never heard anything in our room. The unit was clean and spacious. The value for this stay was great. It was outdated a bit.

Excellent value 2 bedroom. We really enjoyed it. Staff was great. Pool very nice for motel style resort. Elevator makes some noise but that’s all.

The two bedroom condo was awesome. Very clean, comfortable beds, two bathrooms and the full kitchen made it perfect for our family of 5. The pool was nice and warm and very close. 2 minute walk from our condo. The beach access is great - 5 minute walk. The staff was super helpful. We would definitely stay there again This is a quiet area in pompano. My husband and I thought it was perfect but my kids probably would have preferred to be a little closer to the Ft. Lauderdale action.

The set up, bed, and washer and dryer in the apt. The Pool was not within but we were able to use the hot tub.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable appartment with a nice view to the canal. Well equipped, with a washer and dryer in the unit, two bathrooms, close to the private beach. Very friendly staff. Spacious and free parking.

Everything was excellent

The only thing I can say about the Surfsider it was clean. We had no hot water in shower in either room. No TV or Wifi. There was no management on staff after 7:00 to bring this attention to. The next morning when we checked out at 8AM we were told the maintenance had worked on issues and forgot to turn water heater back on. Thank goodness we were there for only one night.

Room is very small and very noisy. The bed frame stuck out about a foot from the mattress. My girlfriend banged her shin on it and cut it open. I was expecting a lot more from a new hotel.

This was a comfortable and nice vacation. They have private beach acces across the street, the apartment was clean and had everithing that you need away from home. The front desk hours is limited, but they work with your needs. The neightboorhood was very nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our vacation.

The units however need maintenance and renovating. Our windows and blinds were cracked and broken. The oven and hob did not work. Hot water was difficult to get in shower as we were in 4th floor. We would stay again.

Place needs to be updated and scrubbed , kitchen cabinets were sticky, appliances were dirty, both bathrooms also need a deep clenaning, pretzels under the sofa bed in the living room. Wouldn't not stay there again.

We stayed for a week it the resort was great! Front desk staff was nice. It’s a perfect location and the beach is right across the street. We will definitely be booking again next year!

This place was great! Awesome space for the money and our family of 6. With a full kitchen, laundry and two bathrooms we were very comfortable and didn't feel "on top of each other" and were able to save money by not eating out. The pool is fabulous with lots of space and very clean and well maintained. We were in it every morning and the beach was just a short walk away in the afternoon. Staff was awesome and allowed us a later check out to accommodate our flight. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay, everything we needed for the week we were there. Apartment type unit worked well for a family of 5. Beach access is across the road. Nice area. Will stay again.

Situation quiet near beach

The front desk personnel are excellent and very responsive to guests' needs. They extended our checkout by 2 hours which we greatly appreciated. Likewise, the units are spacious and adequately equipped and the swimming pool is fantastic! The #1 problem is the strength of the internet signal. We were on the 4th floor and the internet strength was so weak that I had to connect to the internet via my I-phone.

Room is large, two bedrooms and bathrooms kitchen with appliances. Living area with cable tv didn’t have WiFi in room showed that it was there but couldn’t connect to internet. Master bedroom had cable tv as well. Living room was comfortable and small balcony with two chairs was nice over looking small canal to inter coastal water way. I would stay there again.

The room was clean looked just like pictures online. Staff was friendly. Had a little problem it was fixed right away! I would book again on our next trip to Fort Lauderdale.

It was my daughter's birthday weekend. We reserved it for the few days and it was relaxing spacious. I didn't have any big issues... The front desk staff was nice and understanding. The only issues were no sponge for washing the dishes so I used a towel and the panel in the master bedroom fell off but other than that it was great get away for my daughter's 9th birthday :D

I just loved it!! Staff was amazing .. well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots and pans, lots of towels, everything was clean. The balcony was great as well! In fact I’d love to rent one !!

We loved having a tennis court and the outside balcony overlooking the canal. Spacious layout with a very comfortable bed. Amazing shower pressure, and walkable location with great beach access. Dianora at the desk was most helpful and pleasant. We stayed in two different rooms as we left for a few days to visit friends in Stuart. The rooms were both updated and comfortable. Great value as well. The only negative is the WiFi, it’s not good at all.

The stay was good, the condo was clean and comfortable. Id actually buy one if I could. The garbage disposal didn’t work which was as promptly taken care of. My only complaint is that there was no hot water for the shower.

The condo itself was nice. The elevator had some issues and had to walk up 5 flights of stairs. 0nly 1 elevator on property and out of order for multiple days.

The hospitality was great, cleaning and location the same.

The front desk staff, was insulting, or attempting humor; I couldn't tell which. The desk/office hours were varied at best. Lunch seemed to happen whenever it happened. Open around 10ish, close at 7ish. Late check in was a nightmare as you have to call another property to get access to a lockbox. And apparently, they were really busy at 11pm. Overall, the property was nice, but just somewhat lacking in maintenance. Not one thing you could lay your finger on, it just seemed unkept.

Great place to take the family, plenty of room , kitchen for preparing meals, fun pool and great access to the beach.

Beautiful

Our check in was delayed until after 5 pm. When we went into the room a cockroach ran across the kitchen floor. We were not given any instructions on how to access the pool or the beach. We tried to use our key card to access the pool to later find out we could only go into the pool through the other facilities front desk. Our stay lacked communication and we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the place.

Everything was fine. We enjoyed our stay. Pool was next door so we didn’t bother to use but room was nice and clean. Beds were a bit hard but overall nice place. Would stay again.

Overall nice place to stay. Convenient access to the beach, across the street. Sofa bed seemed dated and had stains, which made us uncomfortable.

Just needed a place near the rest of the family staying in a nearby house for the week. This location fit the bill perfectly and was both comfortable and convenient. However, we were using it basically as a lodging and not for any of the amenities.

As soon as I opened the door , I was greeted by some roaches. The inside of the hotel room is run down a little. There’s crack on the wall and the floor. There were roaches crawling on the kitchen. The area where the hotel is located is very nice. It’s walking distance to the beach. It’s good for the price but i wish I didn’t have to deal with the roaches.

We have stayed numerous times at Surfsider and each time we are not disappointed by our visit. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable and have everything we need for our trip. We enjoy the view from our windows of the intercoastal waterway and the short walk to the beach.

Actual room was fabulous. ...having 3Rd floor room and both of is slightly handicapped was horrible inconvenience. ..I asked for lower floor room and was told none was available. .also we wanted to stay longer and when I called front desk gentleman gave me a quote of 76.00 for extra night but suggested I go back on website I had book room with and see if I could still get at a lower price...so i.did and room rate had incteased so I called him back to say let's just book it at price he quoted me...he then said he didn't remember quoting me a.specific rate and said he couldn't honor what he had just quoted me...I was so confused so I asked for manager and he replied they're not here and sorry he couldn't continue to help.me...just let us check out and I went and booked a room.else where...

Really liked SurfSider and was surprised by it. Fantastic price for a very nice furnished little apartment with everything provided... fresh dish towels even. I was on the 5th floor and had a great view of Ocean Blvd and could see the water a little too; on the balcony in the rear, I could see all the way out to Lauderdale. All the lights lit up at night are very beautiful. The elevator was broken (they called me in May and told me about it so I knew). I walked up the five flights every day and it was a good work out. To be fair, the elevator goes up but not down too well and it was slow so I just walked. No big deal. The value for the place more than made up for it.

The office staff was very helpful in accommodating my late arrival. The staff provided excellent service and we're very nice and professional. My room was clean and in great condition. Everything I needed was provided for. It was an excellent stay for me and my family. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for an extended stay in Pompano Beach, FL.

Long list of condo things you must complete at check out, such as stripping all the beds and putting it in the shower stalls. No coffee packets or shampoo even. Expensive for what you get. A lot outdated. Not a resort of any caliber. Photos are much better than what you get.

Amazing! Staff is courteous-Helpful-Friendly, area is awesome! We stayed over Christmas and even put up a tree. Mother loved it, kids loved it, had wonderful experience. This was a 'stay' vacation for us. Room had two full bath, private laundry, Full kitchen, T.V.'s with a DVD player in family-room.

Room needed upgrade We had a two bedroom but there was only one television it would've been nice if each bedroom has their own television set

Very disappointed,my room was infested with roaches.they were out of control.I felt so uncomfortable I cancel my reservation and found somewhere else to stay

This was a great place to stay..........A little off the beaten path, but the room was great!

Overall good experience. Condo needed some cosmetic repairs, but we'll appointed. Beds weren't comfortable... to firm. Easy access to beach across the street. Located in high traffic area, but convenient to grocery stores and many restaurants.

The room was very nice and clean. And beach access is right across the street. We went to the pool and used the grill for dinner one night. We had problems checking in but the front desk was more than helpful and friendly. I don't remember her name but she had short hair and was so sweet.

The hotel was very very nice, I can recommend it, we love it, but the wifi was slow and only permit 2 device in the same time and for maximum 6 days without pay extra.

This is a time share resort that rents unused rooms. It was right across the street from the beach in Pompano. We had a one bedroom apartment that was fully furnished and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made everyone very welcome. We arrived after the office closed and found our room key in an envelope waiting for us and check in the next morning simple and friendly. It is close to shopping and obviously close to the beach. All in all a great place if you are looking for value, comfort and friendly staff. Calling this a hotel really doesn't do it justice, but if you are looking for a small nicely run facility and rooms are available don't hesitate just book it. We would stay there again no questions asked.

Checked in at desk with a very nice Lady, Claudia, who was helpful with my needs for my stay. Clued me in with the best places to eat. I was not disappointed with any of her many options. The rooms were SPOTLESS..Kudos to the housekeepers! When I had more questions about the amenities I talked to Scott (I think that was his name), and he , though new was very helpful. I usually stay in Deerfield when I visit my daughter but will stay here whenever I travel to FL.

My family went to S Florida to attend a wedding and needed a 2 bedroom unit. The condo is an older unit but its in decent shape. The unit was as I expected it to be as far as size. Masterbedroom was nice and big and had its own TV. The unit was neat and clean but you could tell it was an older unit. They had done some upgrades to it such as vanities and the kitchen was newer. This condo is on a property with another hotel so you are anle to use the pool which was nice and clean. My only complaint was the price. $175 felt like a lot of money for a smaller older unit that wasn't on the beach. Other than the price, I would stay there again if I was in the area as far as cleanliness of unit and the friendliness of the staff.

We are from Miami and so tired of the craziness and congestion in south beach so we travel up north to Pompano beach for some quite time at the beach. This condominium place is older but well-maintained and very clean. The location is excellent!!! We walked across the street to the beach and 5 mins drive lauderdale by the sea, where all the good restaurants are. We had a great weekend.

Stayed one night. Condition of room was just ok but it was across the street from the ocean and the service couldn't have been better. Nice people.

Great place for a family of 4 (two bedroom suite!!). super clean, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, across the street from the beach. great place. we will stay again. only complaint is that the oven didn't work and the shower head in the master bath was broken.

Wonderful stay, room was very clean and offered all of the items needed to have a great meal in their kitchen. The beach was walking distance from the room. We ended up staying 2 nights, when we only planned for one, due to the room. Thanks

The staff was very helpful and offered information for anything we needed.

This was in conjunction with a destination wedding. While everyone else was staying at a chaotic, buzzing hotel, I had my own little oasis with a kitchen, balcony overlooking a completely quiet inlet canal, generous parking area and access to the beach across the street. The one-bedroom was large with two bathrooms, a living and dining area, large flat screen TVs. No banging doors, no noisy kids screaming poolside. Very nice. Be sure and bring your own supplies - coffee, food, wine, shampoo. There is a coffee pot and towels and such, but no consumables other than paper towels, toilet paper and dish and bar soap.

For me everything everything was fantastic excelen and clean.
