I loved the location and how quiet it was at night .Im literally down the street from the beach and stores .Beds were comfy and rooms were big .Parking was great .Loved it ! Breakfast can be better it would be great if they at least added eggs and bacon or sausage. Also I notice when there was a bit of milk or waffles they didn’t refill it so whatever was left we had to get .The young lady in the front should greet upon arrival .They should add colorful lights in the pool that would be nice.

Staff was not very welcoming didn’t feel welcomed staff did not smile or look at you. Was outside at night time just relaxing and talking and a staff member came up to us saying they received complaints about noise and made us go to our rooms will not be coming back and not recommending Overall did not really enjoy the stay did not feel welcomed.

pool (all three) in great working order. Room clean! Fresh towels every day. Location! Only a 10 minute walk to the pool. Breakfast--some sausage, maybe? Boiled eggs. More fruit--bananas, better tasting apples. HATED THE SARGASSUM WEED IN THE WATER, but that can't be helped, I don't think. Swimming was less than ideal. Not your fault.

The wall had a bloody booger on the wall. The toilet made a very loud, continuous, running sound. The hand towel had makeup on it when we got there. The cleaning staff circled our room multiple times before we had to check out and left their carts in front of our door, making it very difficult to walk out.

The rooms were decent, with the exception of one of the tubs not draining properly. The front desk wasn't knowledgeable or friendly, and the housekeeping staff began loudly "encouraging" us to check out by 8 am... Checkout is at 11 am. Even with do not disturb signs, they were knocking and asking us to leave. The breakfast is pretty much cereal and a waffle station.

I looked outside that area the next morning and its apparent the exterior of the ac units need some kind of hood fashioned over them to prevent the rain water from pooling on top of the unit and leaking into the room. The drip drip drip through the night was annoying. But the storms were very intense with large amounts of rain in a short period of time.

Overall the property was as expected for a Days Inn. However, our room had a TV that was only displaying green and blue, as the red was either not working or was incorrectly adjusted, as well, it was also not nearly bright enough (good that I don't watch much TV). Also, there was quite a bit of black mold growth around the bathroom vent. The breakfast and staff were good.

The counter, nightstand & sinks had several sugar ants. We found some on our cloths as well . Kinds sleep with one eye open worried about the ants.

Room still had a wet floor when we arrived, the AC made a horrible sound! We thought it was going to explode, told the front desk who didn't care AT all. Never did anything about it, and we had to wear earplugs to sleep. We only had three towels to start with, when we asked for another one- we were told he had to bring them the dirty ones in order to get anything else! Laughable. We normally stay in a Marriott, or Hyatt, and this was nothing like that. Zero of 10 stars, would not recommend . If people working here actually cared, it would be an ok place. The pool was actually the only nice thing there. Thank God.

Well , the hotel was ok . The only thing I didn't like for the price was a scenic view of the back of a warehouse. For the the price I paid, I would have liked a better beach view.

The ladies upfront were super nice and made checking in and out easy. The room was very spacious and very clean. The ac worked great and the walk from the pool to the room was close as well. The location is right by the beach and two large gas stations so it’s all very convenient and worth the price. No complaints, will be coming back to this location for sure.

Excellent place to stay in April , 2nd year that we go for my birthday weekend and so close to beach, load up the vehicle and head to the beach and fish off the surf is a perfect beach stay

Checking in a small child was on a tablet while mom did laundry. Got checked in and went to eat and explore the area. Our room was very dated. I watched some tv and noticed several baby cockroaches climbing up the bedside table. I woke my husband and his foot landed right next to a larger one. We packed up. As we grabbed our dinner from the fridge a very large roach ran out. We threw our food away. It was 11:30pm and I had to find new accommodations. I still have not received our refund for the 4 nights. Do not let photos fool you! Will never be back

I love the location of this hotel, easy access to the beach and highway.

It was fine but i wish the breakfast had more variety. Perhaps freshly cut fruit yogurt and other options than just pastry and cereal. No breakfast sausage or bacon . I'm really a guy who needs some kind of meat on the menu. Other than that everything was satisfactory.

Room was kept clean daily, hot tub was hot. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff. One little boy was taking all the bread at breakfast and feeding the seagulls…..

A little run down

Stains all over the walls & parts of the bathroom for just ripped off. Mold everywhere it could grow and a noisy AC. Travelers beware, avoid this place at all costs.

Couldn’t sleep and our backs hurt in the mornings

Clean room and quiet. However, the bathroom needs an update. Very cramped and low water pressure in the shower..

Just an fyi fabric shower curtain smelling like pee i guess the forgotten to change it. And people from others rooms were loud. Other that that was okay to stay there

Hello My stay Overall wasn’t bad but the reason for such a harsh rating is the first thing I saw when I walked in was a roach on both beds that we were supposed to Sleep on and there were continuous roaches mostly in the bathroom area. I understand it’s a beach town and there’s palm trees but like at least take care of the roach problem common like ? I also want to mention an issue with the front door I don’t know if it was just our room door but it would not close all the way it would lock but there was a big gap that was definitely noticeable you could see the sun peek right in definitely not safe I would have reported all of this but my gf did not want to make a big deal, so here I am writing this review to warn everyone your most likely gonna see roaches and deal with rude front desk staff. Also forgot to mention when I walked into check in the front desk lady gave me the ugliest look and was rude to pretty much all the questions I asked. It wasn’t a bad stay definitely will not be returning though.

Amazing staff, even on Thanksgiving holiday , they worked hard to make us feel comfortable.

The rooms could use some deep cleaning. The hot tub lining needs to be fixed. There is loose material in the tub. They shpuld spray for bugs and make multiple entry gates to the pool.to allow better access to the entire hotel.

Two downfalls- the tile floor was slick with some kind of residue/film and the shower tub combo had holes in it and there was rust in some areas (to be expected at the beach though). With that said, I would stay there again if I needed somewhere close to the beach on a budget.

The pool and hot tub were great! The landscaping really put me in the tropical mood. The beds were comfortable, I could not get a king room and settled for two queen beds. They had cold breakfast, with waffles. I wish they had a little more variety.

Very noisy at the pool until 10pm radio was up all the way! The room next door had the TV blaring all night until 6am keeping us up.

The room was spacious and clean,very quiet. The hot tub was one of the reasons I picked this stay and it was chlorinated and worked great. The staff was above and beyond great service very helpful. I enjoyed the stay very much. We will be back. Perfect stay! Thank you Days Inn!

Overall, this hotel is run down and not well taken care of. I would not recommend staying here until significant updates and repairs are made.

The first room we were is was horible. Black mold everywhere and the smell. Front desk said there was nothing they could do till the morning. Had to stay in the room overnight. Did not feel good the next day.

The property was close to everything we wanted to do. The property was clean however could use a paint job in the rooms. Would stay again.

We felt safe and clean. Slept well every night and our transition arriving and checking out was smooth.

We found roaches by the bathtub

Rooms were clean and spacious. Pool area had a bit of trash around. Hot tub felt great after a long drive.

The shower head had a steady drip of water. The drain in the sink smelled like something died in it. The refrigerator smelled like rotten food and a had leftover yogurt in it from who knows how long ago. The microwave looked like it came from a frat house and had never been cleaned. The door to the outside didn’t seal and light and bugs came thru. The overhead light flickered on and off and then stayed off. Overall it was a disgusting nightmare.

It was clean . Just old run down weird potent smell in room . Woke up to large cockroaches climbing up the wall. NOT worth the money .

First off the pullout couch bed was stained so bad and then the cushion was stained the room had a very odd weird smell. The bed sheets were stained underneath was stained. The breakfast was beyond sucky and sorry, but the mid 30s 40s lady at the front was really sweet and hard-working, and whenever you asked her something she was willing to help. It was well overpriced, even though it was a holiday with the sheets and beds being the way they were in the breakfast, not being worth anything. But other than that, it was clean the refrigerator cleaned out it smelled. If it had a little bit more update as far as the sheets in the mattresses and get a better smell in the rooms little bit more updated with appliance also wouldn’t be too bad to stay there again.

Pictures are deceiving. Not sure if they are in the middle of repairs but just about every door is rusted on the outside. In our room, the ceiling had mold in the corner from a previous leak. Microwave had rust spots in the back corner on the inside. Air conditioner rattled so much we literally had to remove the outside of it so we could sleep. Wash cloth left on the shower rod from previous guest. Big black dot on one of the towels. TV setting was off and the picture was too blue and the remote would not let you adjust the settings.... I could have taken photos but they probably would not do it justice. I've stayed in cheaper places and was more impressed. For the money, this place was not worth it. Sorry, just my honest opinion.

We love this property when we want a quick and affordable trip to the beach. But the rooms could be cleaner. I hate to complain but this past time the room was alot dirtier than other times

Alive and dead bugs inside the room, sheets seemed dingy, there were large green boogers pasted on the walls next to the bed, the microwave was just sitting on top of the refrigerator, the toilet would barely flush, no furniture besides two chairs and a table, moldy smell inside the room.

The pool is excellent. Breakfast was subpar if you can call it that. First glance rooms were very nice, but the beds weren’t very comfortable.

The breakfast ends at 9am and they take away all the food right then, didn’t let me grab anything when I was there already. Also only had two towels in bathroom when there were 4 of us staying, and no washcloths. Only one hand towel. Other than that it’s a good, cute hotel.

Room had hair all over the floor and in the bathtub

Inside in reception area were children laying on couch with blankets. Check-in went smoothly. Room had a nasty musty smell! Sand on floor indicated it was obviously not wet mopped... and bathroom had the tiniest bathtub I've ever seen! Skimpy continental breakfast...

Worst Hotel Experience Ever Stayed May 29 to June 1, 2025 This hotel was sketchy from the start. The room smelled of mildew and had visible mold on the lampshades. Everything was dusty and dirty. We felt bugs crawling on us while trying to sleep, which was disgusting and terrifying. The police were called for a violent incident, which scared my kids. We got sick overnight and decided to leave, but the hotel refused a refund. The pool looked nice in photos but was crusty and dirty. Bugs swarmed our chairs and belongings from the nearby grass. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It is unsafe, filthy, and unfit for guests. This property needs to be investigated for health and safety violations. Rating: 0/5

Great location and pool

Pool was supposed to open at 10 delayed to 11 am unable to use before checkout.

Older property, definitely way overpriced for the rundown amenities,, beds very uncomfortable and not well kept… listed as on the beach but not really about a 15 minute walk away. Would be ok if it wasn’t $200 for one night, will not stay again when in the area.

The employees were so helpful with my planning. Booked the room for my daughtetand her friends 41st birthday and they helped me with local fun arrangements. Thank you so much to the staff. Best hotel in Port A.

Upstair neighbor was noisy late at night with kids I believe the cleaning “crew” with her kids where the one up there because in morning for check out they were waiting for us to leave and “crew” had her kids

It was a only a couple mins drive from the beach which was pretty convenient. The staff was awesome, the hotel room was very very spacious, and they even had a special bird alarm for when you slept past the sunrise lol (gotta love the seagulls)

It was a large room but several repairs needed. Hole in the restroom shower, rusty shower head, and baseboards looked unkempt. Comfort was ok and staff ok.

You would be better off sleeping on the beach.

It was a good day just didn’t care for it not being as clean as it should be. The AC vents were gross. I had to wash them out. There was sand in the corners and throw up splatter or something on the walls by the toilet paper dispense, and the mirrors were dirty other than that we had a pretty good stay and we will return..

The property itself was amazing, pool and hot tub and room were spacious and beautiful area. The lady who takes out trash feeds the seagulls the trash though, which causes them to squeak all night long. Also, the neighbors were Mexican and extremely vile with their language, as well as threatening to kill each other over a man, so scary that I had to call the police at one point. I had zero chance to sleep due to security concerns. I called the front office, made a complaint, and asked to speak to a manager and they never called back or did anything to compensate the situation.

We've stay at four days Inn. this building and site could be put back down to the ground and rebuilt days Inn is better this.

Convenient to the beach. Heater was not working properly in my room and cold.

The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The room was roomy and comfortable. The bed was firm and the pillow was soft. The ac made a noise all night and kept my wife and i up, it made it hard to sleep. Next time i will make sure not to get room 206.

It was quiet, the room was large but really needs some upkeep. Tiny bugs all over the area where coffee pot was and sink area. I bought some orange oil and sprayed paper towels down and this kept them at bay. Lady that fills the breakfast area needs a lesson in being polite. I stopped in, just to see what they offered for breakfast at 8:56 am, and she about bit my head off that breakfast was over at 9:00. Told I was just looking, I did grab a couple of wrapped muffins and she snatched the others quickly. I guess she was afraid I would take them all? If the owner would give this place some fresh paint, spray for bugs and get the A/C units serviced, it could be pretty nice.

I was on a fishing trip to Port Aransas. Very good stay and met of all of my needs. I would plan to come back again.

The room was nice and large.

A friend and I went down on a Wednesday and left on a Thursday. We had the whole wing to our self. The rooms were nice and big very roomy. The only had three towels, two washcloths. The floors were a bit dirty and sticky. The walls could use a wash down. I had to clean the mirror. The room had a mold, smell to it. But that’s to be expected when you’re down at the beach and they just recently had flooding. Other than that this place was pretty cool. We did not get to use the pool or the hot tub because it was the beginning of winter and it was a bit chilly. And by the way, I am a bit OCD and I clean free living so I see things other people would not have known. The breakfast was good. The tables were very clean if the price is right like it was this time I will be coming back.!!

Pretty good stay all in all. Room was comfortable. Staff was nice. Standard type continental breakfast with waffles. Bed was okay. Good location if you want to go to the beach. It's very close. The room wasn't in perfect condition. I'm not that picky and I was very happy with the room for the price.

The property exterior looked nice , but the room were run down, the breakfast was just pastries, and coffee, cereal. They don’t clean your room , they just give you clean towels. Do not take trash out. Pool was not heated. The only good thing was the hot tub in a nice pool.

Good Location not to close to beach but not to far. In between Mustang Island and Port Aransas

Always a great time on the Island. The pool temp is perfect this time of year and the crowds are smaller than summer. The hotel offers a carb loaded breakfast, so bring your own protein. We’ve been staying here for years and will continue on our next trip.

I liked being able to have a short drive to town and to the beach, as well as a nice garden and pool.

We absolutely loved the pool. The room was nice and open but stunk highly of either cleaning products or bug bombs. The bathroom had little ventilation so smelled like urine. Staff at the front not so friendly. Insane how jacked the prices are over a weekend.

This is a beautiful property. In a very nice location. It is an older building but you can tell they work hard to keep it up to date and clean. It has a lot of greenery and very inviting. The pool is a really nice size with lots of chairs and loungers. The hot tub is HOT and the bubbles do not stop. It was very enjoyable. The continental breakfast was great. The rooms are very spacious. It is an excellent stay. We’d definitely stay again.

did not leave the hotel...because we wanted too. A few things happened to make us want to leave. 3 towels for 4 people, had to take dirty towels to office to get new towels. Employee was very rude/unprofessional yelling at me from outside the office with a cigarette in their mouth. I should of believed the other reviews. Right outside our room people were having a bbq. It was very awkward going into our room. We did not feel comforatable. No blankets in room or on bed. Ac did not feel cold. Parking was far from room and by main street. Inexpensive hotel that looked decent online. Just pay the extra money to stay somewhere else.

Overall we were looking for something close by the beach and a place with a decent size pool. This place was ok and got the job done for what we were looking for.

Very friendly people and good service. Bed was hard as a rock I had to sleep on the couch the second night but the third night we moved to a queen and it was so much better. The water pressure for your shower is almost nonexistent.

My family and I stayed here for the week of 4th of July. When we arrived we immediately noticed that there was a large amount of college kids every place we went, which was not a big deal. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and had no complaints untill our last night. We came in super late on the 4th from the beach put our kids to bed and then went and sat on the balcony to just talk and listen to the waves. The night manager lady came out to a group of people about 5 doors down who were loud and popping off fire works and yelled at them they are required to go to their rooms and go to sleep or else she would call the cops. This lady then came to us and threatened the same thing. I then watched as she yelled this same threat to every person who there. It was so rude, uncalled for, and unprofessional. As an adult who followed all rules and the hotels quite hours policy, this lady completely tuned us off of this hotel. The rest of the hotel was clean and fantastic, but this one enployee ruined our whole experience.

The price is higher for what you get. Regular accommodations. In pictures looks much better than reality

Bed was Sandy and it would’ve been better if it was in front of the beach.

The breakfast was nothing like it showed and the pool and hot tub were way too shallow. Said 4ft and I’m 5’10” and when i stood up in certain 4ft sections of the pool it would be just a bit under my waist. And had the shallowest hot tub I’ve ever been in as well, but it was an ok place to stay

The room is spacious and clean and good spot to be at. The only thing is the foot steps from the above floor was the only issue cause of kids or young adults that stomps for no reason.
