It was advertised as having an indoor pool and when we got there we were informed that it wasn't working. That it had been down for weeks.

I was a little worried since it was below the average price for other hotels in the area but they exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was roomy and clean. The free breakfast had a great variety of choices. Extremely satisfied. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was fantastic from the first day we enter friendly staff, breakfast was good only thing is the parking not too many stalls. Overall my family loved this place. This is our third time staying here in Springhill Suites.

We chose this hotel specifically for the swimming pool, but unfortunately it was under maintenance during our stay. This was not communicated to us in advance. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere. Our kids were really looking forward to the pool and were quite disappointed.

The staff was amazing! Kai who helped us arrange and pick us up from the airport with the shuttle service was amazing. Alex at the front desk upon arrival was really friendly and helpful. He helped arrange or departing shuttle. Thanks so much for a wonderful quick experience for our family’s long layover.

First of all I choose this hotel because I looks nice in the pictures, and because I travel with my kids and when we stay in hotels they like to go swiming in the pool, we check in they where exited to go swiming and oh surprice "POOL was under maintenance" my kids hot really upsed, other than that everything was perfect really clean and awesome staff!!!

The SpringHill suites by Marriott Portland airport has a great breakfast and nice quiet rooms. It has friendly staff and is conveniently located near the airport with both fast food and dine in restaurants as well as shopping areas in the area. Highly recommended.

The room was very large! Two beds, a living area and a small sink/fridge in addition to the bathroom.

The location was good for sightseeing and the cost was family friendly. The pool wasn’t always in use, which isn’t a huge thing, but definitely disappointed the kids.

Overall the stay was good can’t really complain . We had very Friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast buffet, but rooms could use some updating. Also weird that we had to pay $10 a night for parking in addition to the cost of the room.

Apparently you have to ask for room service at check in, and we weren’t aware parking is $10 a day until after we checked out. Elevators are slow and sketchy. Staff is nice.

This hotel is outdated, things are falling apart (for example, closet doors missing hinges due to improperly repairing over the years, the trim on the corners is not fully secured anymore, mattresses are old, uncomfortable and not like most hotels). Breakfast is free like most places but leaves much to be desired. The bacon for example, waa no thicker than tissue paper and when grabbing it with tongs nearly ripped because it has to be separated from the grease. Just an overall, subpar hotel. I would not recommend.

water in the toilet kept running all night. after complaints nothing constructive came out of it. shower tub wasn't draining and during my 2 day stay, we had to take a bath with water that was up to our ankle. no housekeeping was provided and we were not told that we had to request one if need be. request to have the manager was ignored.

The kids went to the pool daily and often had it to themselves. There is a full gym with more than enough equipment to get a good workout in, as well as onsite laundry (though it’s $6 per load). One afternoon, as we were heading out, the kids wanted hot chocolate but they were out, the woman at the front desk overheard us talking and ran to grab some for them. The breakfast staff was also great about keeping everything clean and well stocked. Overall, it was a great stay.

The only thing I noticed is that one of the Queen beds is close to the bathroom will be noisy when someone else is still in the bathroom.

It was great from checking-in at 1am, getting to our room already cold, so clean, comfortable, very big & nicely renovated! All the extra amenities, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap & lotion provided was a plus! Breakfast was delicious and a great spread and variety! Wonderful staff, quiet hotel & comfortable beds! We LOVED this hotel! We would stay here again for sure. Suites were huge, lots of rooms for our 3 girls. Breakfast was great and one of the staff went out of the way to help my neurodivergent kid by peeling her apple! Pool was warm (a but too warm but whatever) and we nejoyed the exercise room fro 20 mins today.

Room keys didn't work at first, had to go back to front desk with all of our stuff and have them redone. Elevator is extremely slow. Very noisy due to being right in flight path of airport. The road it's on has long traffic delays apparently between 2pm and 6pm making a quick back and forth to the hotel very long. Room was clean but didn't feel like it had been deep cleaned in a while. Refrigerator didn't work, husband found after pulling it out of the cabinet that it was unplugged. Walking distance to pub and convenience store was nice.

Number 1 issue was the key card entry system. It took 4 tries the first day to get 2 key cards to work. Then every day after that we had to get new ones. Frustrating. The hot breakfast on weekdays was terrible. We won’t be staying there again.

Pool was out of service for the 3 day stay. Poor plumbing with low water pressure. Toilet would not flush only after 6 attempts. Bath room sink was clogged on arrival.Door lock would not retract. Had to rescan card or hold inside door handle to keep latch from getting stuck on striker plate.No maintenance workers available to tend to issues on the weekends.

The following day, when we went to take a shower, the shower was not working. After some delay, we were finally moved to a different room around 4 p.m. This process caused significant inconvenience during our stay. We also found the rooms to be poorly maintained, with missing amenities such as a full-length mirror. Despite these issues, we appreciated that the staff was very polite and genuinely tried to help us. The second room we were given was an improvement compared to the one we checked into initially. Overall, our experience at the hotel was average, and I would not recommend it based on the issues we encountered.

Friendly staff, clean quiet rooms and good breakfast. Pool was ice cold even though the attendant said the pool temperature was set at 82 degrees: thermostat on wall was set at 83 and the pool area was nice and warm, but the pool was much colder than this.

Our stay was fine. We had to wait for awhile before we could check-in because the front desk person was working on refilling coffee -- it seems this location is understaffed. Bed and linens were great. The curtain was falling off the slider, there was only coffee for 1 person instead of 2. There was no hairdryer in the room so we had to go get one from the front desk. Not enough staff for the breakfast and not enough coffee.

We were given a bit of a hard time with my service animal. They inquired what he did for a service and then stated they had every right to know this information. But to do so, divulges the disability. He was traveling with us as he is in need of specialty medical care in Portland, he has cancer. I wanted to stay an extra day and our family would take him back home to recover. I was then told I could not stay if my service animal was not with me and then suspiciously stated that he "must not really have been a service animal." I was refused a room. Incredibly rude, insulting and ugly to be treated this way.

The rooms are a good size they are clean and staff was friendly, but I was so disappointed that I had to call for a cab to take me to the airport as the only reason we stayed there was because they have airport shuttles, but apparently not early in the morning.

Our room was decent size, the couch folded out to a comfortable sleeper, but the closet door couldn’t open all the way due to the nightstand which was locked in by the very heavy platform bed. The bed was comfortable, and all the furnishings and bathroom fixtures were in great shape and looked new. The free breakfast had a little of everything, except the orange juice was not working 3 of the 4 days we were there, and there were bananas only on the first day. Room was nice and clean. Staff at breakfast was very helpful and friendly. Front desk staff could improve on friendliness. Parking was horrible. Apparently the parking lot on the north side of the property doesn’t belong to the hotel so you can’t park there.. I had to move my car and the only spot available was way on the other side of the adjacent Best Western hotel. There is no signage on the north side of the Spring Hill suites that says you can’t park there. I only found this out as the unfriendly front desk person asked me where I parked and then abruptly told me I had to move my car.

The hotel was fine. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good with enough options. The gym was nice with weights and cardio machines. It was a rough check-in due to the timing of our flight (in the middle of the night), but it was ok. It was weird that the stairs did not lead to the lobby floor.

Wouldn’t stay again. The locked front door is annoying. My toilet easily overflowed. The sink did not drain properly. The mirror had two lights out. They said my second night would be remade but , they remade the 3rd night instead. The staff didn’t want to accept a PayPal debit card even thou it was on their list of non accepted cards and it’s an actual debit with my name on it not a prepaid. She was rude about it

We had a room for 3 nights. The bed was so used that it sunk in about 8 inches on one side. The toilet was broken and was mentioned to staff each day. They refused to fix the toilet. I had to reach my hand in the back of the toilet water to flush. Completely unacceptable and the staff didn’t care. Stay away from Room 507

The hotel is centrally located and has access to the freeways and good food is not far. The breakfast in the mornings provided by the hotel is very complete with many options 👍. Not to mention convenient for early start to the day!!

Airport noise is to be expected however the noise from the floor above was just ridiculous! This is worse I think I have ever experienced. Unless you are on the top floor, or are lucky enough to not have the room above occupied, you will be in for a long, very noisy night!

We really liked Springhill suites because it was bright and beautiful. The lobby had flavored/iced water and different beverages to welcome us, cookies in the afternoon, and a little store to buy snacks or incidentals. I swam in the pool and my husband enjoyed the exercise room. The breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious and I really enjoyed the lighted mirror in the bathroom. There were two sales and a convertible little sofa. The price was right, and we really enjoyed it.

It was close to my venue and clean. I have stayed here at this hotel several times in the past however this time I was charged to $250 deposit just because I have a local address. When I asked them why they're doing this and they said because locals tend to damage rooms more than the other guest. That remark put me on a defense and when I went to my actual room the luggage rack was broken. Had to check the rest of the room for damage to make sure I would get my $250 back I took pictures down of the luggage rack to the lady at the front desk and she said she documented it but I feel like this is a not a good way to treat local people that are using your establishment for any kind of reason. This new policy was not listed when I booked the accommodation if it had been listed I would have to pay a $250 deposit just because I am a local then I would have booked elsewhere.

Not once did housekeeping come during our stay. Not even to empty the trash when I called and asked, we had food in our room the night before and I didn’t want it to stink up the room and nothing. When I called the front desk the lady said sometimes they go every other day sometimes every three days but I’ll make a note to make sure they come to your room tomorrow morning and they never did.

We had two young children with us, and I was finding lollipop sticks in our bed when we first got there, our AC panel was broken. Our toilet took forever to flush, and our bedsheet has stain on it.

During 2nd night due to our experience in first night we were upgraded to a suite which was great.

Only one staff was working so when we came we had to wait in the hobby to get checked in. We were told that that no room in the king size was available except for one handicap room, and the staff doesn’t know when the next room will be available. The staff that checked us in was not friendly or helpful at all. Parking is limited and we asked for some toothpaste and received very small amount of. Based on how we were treated with slow service, not friendly, and not having adequate rooms ready when we checked in we will not be back.

Tv and phone weren’t working they fixed the TV but not the phone so every time I would need something I would have to go down to the lobby to ask for what I needed then the toilet got clogged so I go down to the lobby again and they send me with a plunger to be honest I was embarrassed because there were more people in the lobby I thought they would send someone up to my room to get it fixed

I love the room, convenient location, great last minute. We're staying after my son passed away before we move out of state. I explained to the staff my card might get declined due to recent fraud but that i had a couple cards, its been a nightmare for my family, I was immediately treated differently by the managers. Finally, another employee figured out he was just doing something wrong. This shouldn't happen to anyone.

While the room was obviously showing it's age slightly, the room was clean and well equipped. Nothing was broken, the water was hot with good pressure, and the beds were very comfortable. To top off the already amazing experience, the hot breakfast was better than some breakfasts we received on cruise ships.

Checkin was a breeze. No issues with parking. The area was quiet and seemed to be very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a typical hotel. Nothing special but nothing wrong. Because it's an airport hotel, it is very noisy with air traffic, which is to be expected. My only complaint was the mini fridge in our room, which shook and rattled its way through the night.

Clean area & quiet. doors were locked upon arrival & we kept pushing the button & no one came, finally a person who was in the lobby got someone for us. The next morning we asked for fresh towels as we were leaving for the day. When we got back in the evening, no fresh towels, had to ask again. We had 5 people & they provided 4 towels. The waffle batter was very watery & the waffles kept collapsing during cooking & came out like pancakes.

Someone in their staff left my door open. Hotel said they reccomend any other hotel after I complained of bad service being lied to about my room being entered. The room never got cleaned or did we get asked if we needed anything. Tub was broke an wouldnt drain properly. Someones flonase was left on guest bed. Dont like honest reviews i guess.

We stayed for two nights, had a great time, enjoyed the pool, liked the closeness to the airport and other amenities. My absolute only complaint is that the bedside table is so big you cannot open the closet door to access the closet. Not a deal breaker but it is a thing. It was like this in both of the rooms our family stayed in.

Things that we noticed about the room: the door wouldn't unlock consistently. It could take more than 5 taps of the key card to open. The shower had small areas of mold growing and the water didn't drain while taking a shower. There was also a carpet stain. We stayed for two nights. If it had been a longer stay I might have asked for another room.

Room was spacious and accommodated our family just fine with the pull out trundle bed. The continental breakfast was excellent!! The pool hours were great! We would stay again!!

The property was convenient for catching a morning flight to the airport. Breakfast food was good and there was plenty of seating.

For the price, the stay was as expected. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds were comfy. The pool was small and NOT heated, but still a nice amenity. Breakfast was very basic. Very convenient to the airport.

What my husband and I found objectionable was the lack of handicap bathroom facilities. We had to wait over 30 minutes to get a room because of the lack of cleaning crew. We accepted a room and my husband fell in the tub and backward onto the toilet. I fell off off the toilet face first over the edge of the tub.

It’s not only that, I am more upset because there was no way that maintenance crew didn’t see that. It was very obvious. Also the tub had a dip in the middle and water stays in there too. Not just providing us a crappy room, no one ever apologized and I had to request 4 times to get another room. In the new room, the toilet flush needs some work. Hold it until everything flushes down or else it won’t flush.
