Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, and fantastic location in downtown Portland. However, many guests express dissatisfaction with the non-refundable fee for amenities like Wi-Fi and use of the coffee station, as well as the lack of parking and high valet fees. Some guests also mention issues with noise and maintenance in their rooms.

We had a great time. The hotel was clean and the staff was super helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay
- 1/5
The rooms looked great when reviewing online however when we got to our room the bathroom was disgusting and the bath towels had hair on them. It’s a great location they just need to step up the cleaning routine.
- 5/5
Really good experience.
- 5/5
We loved our stay at the Paramount Hotel! The location was excellent, right on a plaza in downtown Portland with great access to the MAX network. The staff was friendly, and they checked us in early which was nice! Definitely recommend
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 5/5
Had a simple breakfast at the lobby restaurant and it was amazing. Friendly staff and nice room. Surprisingly quiet for downtown.
- 3/5
Staff was nice.
- 5/5
Great location, nice staff and rooms. I do wish there had been a coffee maker in the room or water without spending $5/bottle.
- 5/5
Other than that, the hotel was amazing.
- 5/5
clean room, nice staff , quiet sleeping, good location . and mostly 24 hours hot water supply, a happy travel experience at Paramount Hotel
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room in a great location
- 5/5
Great place, amazing location
- 4/5
It’s clean but not very clean. The water pressure is very low and the shampoo is not good. But overall it was a good stay for 2 nights and the location is super good.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great staff! Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The Tavern restaurant on site has great choices and food and drinks were good. Didn’t have the opportunity to visit the other bar on site but feedback from talking with other people had great feedback. Good location and easy to walk around. Will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
This was a great experience. The staff was helpful, the room was clean. But there was no microwave in the room.
- 5/5
The property was beautiful and in the perfect location. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The restaurant on the property was delicious...I would recommend staying here to anyone.
- 5/5
We got a room with a balcony and it was so nice. The bed was really comfortable and the staff was so friendly. Everything was great.
- 5/5
From the beginning of the stay to checkout, the stay was excellent. Staff was pleasant, helpful, and answered every question I had about the city (and I had lots). I would recommend staying at The Paramount 1000%.
- 5/5
Very enjoyable and quite affordable. Both restaurants on site were excellent. Great location , close to lots of restaurant, art museum and transit and shopping. Will stay here again, thanks!
- 3/5
The hotel was just ok, not great.
- 5/5
Nice hotel in good location. Clean, comfortable rooms
- 1/5
The hotel is beautiful but there was a terrible accident with my girlfriend and I and the staff did not help at all. Did not provide us with the appropriate medical supplies we needed. It was so bad we didn’t even stay the night and left at 4am.
- 5/5
Always love staying here when in town
- 4/5
The only drawback is parking space. You need to pay parking fee.
- 5/5
great downtown choice!
- 5/5
!
- 5/5
Clean room, fun hotel in a great downtown location walking distance to many great restaurants and pioneer square! Restaurant and bar downstairs and comfortable beds
- 5/5
Great place to stay in the city. Close to everything, food, shopping, sites, liquor stores, dispensaries... I'd consider staying here every time I visit Portland. Great Hotel.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the soaking tub, which was an unexpected bonus. I would stay again.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and enjoy the surrounding area. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The amenities were excellent, and everything exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
- 5/5
Great hotel to stay at in the city!
- 5/5
We loved the location of the property. It was close to everything downtown. The staff was great and friendly. We will definitely stay here again, if we go back to the Portland area.
- 5/5
chill staff
- 5/5
it was nice
- 4/5
Knocking a star off only for the fact that the boys in the room next to me were making noise until about 4 in the morning. However, the helpful staff of the Paramount were able to talk to them after I called the front desk. Very thankful they were so helpful.
- 5/5
Hotel was perfectly situated and beautiful. They were actually remodeling, and making it even better. Room was clean and a perfect size. My only compliant is that it did not have a water station or a place to refresh your water bottle.
- 5/5
Wonderful location, very nice sized room, well appointed. All around great. There was a a $25 per day parking lot with in and out privileges right across from the hotel. You don’t need thee hotel’s $60 per day valet parking.
- 5/5
Nice, centrally located spot.
- 5/5
I had a restful stay! Staff was friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, great location.
- 4/5
I feel valet is overpriced and our room was out of body gel. Overall, excellent stay!
- 5/5
Fantastic location, lovely room and gracious lobby!
- 5/5
Location, hotel bar restaurant, balcony!!! And very quiet and clean.

First off, the location is PRIME. It’s central to everything and made getting around Portland incredibly convenient. The staff was also amazing from start to finish. Every day, they were friendly, approachable, and always available to help. I even called a few days before arriving with a few questions, and they were just as welcoming over the phone. Cleanliness was another huge highlight. The entire property was spotless and sanitary, including my room. Easily a 10/10. I stayed in the single king room, and it was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The linens smelled fresh and clean, and I appreciated the small details throughout the space, especially the tissues folded into a rose shape in the restroom, which I thought was such a clever touch for being in the City of Roses. The large windows also offered some of the best sunset views of the city. The restaurant downstairs was another 10/10. Great food, great service, and a perfect addition to the overall experience. I will say that you could hear some city traffic/people at night, but that’s obviously outside of the hotel’s control, and honestly, it was a small tradeoff for such a great stay. I would absolutely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location, beautiful vıew, friendly and professıonal staff
- 5/5
The downside is parking fee. I guess I don't travel to downtown hotels very often with a car but $80 a night to park my 'oversized' vehicle seems ridiculous. Maybe this is normal but definitely seems excessive
- 5/5
It was nice and quiet.
- 3/5
Water should be available at the coffee station. Actually, water should be available all day for guests. For a town that claims to be so eco-friendly, I found the individual servings of coffee creamer and vanilla flavored coffee creamer in tiny plastic containers a bit out of sync with the Portland vibe. The oat milk that was available one day was disgusting. The only reason I know this is that it was poorly marked. Please offer your coffee creamers in well marked carafes, not some barely noticeable black lettering at the bottom of the stainless steel portion of the carafe. On a positive note, all the staff members that I interacted with were lovely. You can certainly be proud of them; they’re doing a fine job of representing you to your guests.
- 5/5
Really nice hotel. Me and the family loved it.
- 5/5
Great hotel. I’m a native but needed a downtown hotel for before and after my son’s wedding. Was so great to see the city from the 11th floor, a first!
- 4/5
We had a good time staying at Paramount hotel. Staff helpful our room are spacious and very comfortable. It's situated in downtown Portland which is walkable to most of shopping and restaurants.
- 4/5
Not super clean but ok
- 4/5
The location was great, the beds were very comfortable, and we felt safe in/around the hotel. The valet service was also fantastic. Great water pressure in the shower. We enjoyed our balcony. Only complaint: our room with a balcony faced a street that had noisy trash pickup every morning at 6. 😊 Other than that, fabulous!
- 5/5
I definitely will stay again
- 5/5
Great location. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was terrible. Hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict was something out of a bottle.
- 4/5
Booked two rooms, one room I found a couple dirty or stained items and the second room in the bathroom there looked to have had some major water damage, the wall needed serious repair. Overall the employees were nice, a 2 minute walk to our event was great, the area felt safe for walking around.
- 5/5
Great friendly environment. Both restaurants we great. Hotel staff were professional
- 5/5
Thank you for a Awesome visit
- 4/5
This hotel is unique, very interesting. Our room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was a little small. The bar closes at 9 PM which made us go out and wonder around. It's walking distance to the harbor which was nice. The breakfast was lacking, frozen burritos and egg sandwiches, cereal, toast and fruit. It does have free on site parking.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Hotel parking is valet only at $60 per night or at an adjacent public parking garage at $25 per night. Down town traffic makes it hard to get to. The room was fine, breakfast in the hotel was a bit expensive but okay.
- 5/5
Ok
- 3/5
There isn't a coffee pot in the room, and it is only available for a couple hours in the morning. Breakfast was good, although a little expensive. The front desk staff was friendly, but didn't offer information unless they were asked. Overall, it just didn't feel like the paramount hotel that we stayed at in Seattle.
- 4/5
Odd restaurant hours.
- 5/5
The front desk staff and restaurant staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great location for a first time visitor to Portland.
- 5/5
The location was great and the staff was amazing.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Not sure I want to shout out too loudly how much I love this hotel because I want to continue to have accessibility. It’s proximity to the PAM makes it my home-away-from-home anchor to my Portland adventures.
- 5/5
Has become my go to place lately. Good location. Nice bars on premises. Price is good
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Third or fourth stay here and always happy. Great location, breakfast, and staff
- 4/5
The perfect place to stay, quiet, clean and the perfect location and short distance of walking to many different stores and restaurants. We enjoyed our time here.
- 5/5
Central location and a wonderful staff.
- 3.5/5
How dirty or bathroom was. Hair all over the floor, shower and tub. Glitter and green stuff all over the the tub, toilet and inside the tub. Stained our clothes. Almost like our bathroom was ignored for cleaning. Didn't use the shower just for that.
- 5/5
The Swine has a nice menu and great vibe.
- 4/5
The room was spacious & clean. The location was good.
- 4/5
Everything was clean and comfortable however, a little run down. The drapes were ripped and stuff looked a little worn. I would go back, though. The overall experience was great.
- 4/5
Nice
- 2/5
The room was nice, a little small for what I was expecting. We booked a king room with a balcony. There were limited amenities in the room, super small mini fridge. We had to pay an extra $75 a night for potential damages, which would be nice to know before booking a non refundable room. We also did not get any room service until the last night we were there. They left us 2 towels in the hotel room, two towels for two people for two nights.. the hotel property itself is nice, with the two restaurants. The breakfast at the restaurant was gross but it was a cute place. I probably wouldn’t stay again.
- 5/5
Room was perfect as always, staff was respectful. My go to for when I want to stay in Portland.
- 4/5
Not enough coffee.
- 5/5
I did know there was a breakfast option.
- 4/5
Room was comfortable. The air conditioning unit was so loud and rather old which was a bit annoying as it woke me up. Other than that good stay.

- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful hotel right in the heart of Portland. We stayed for a fairly good price honestly, and the staff was very kind. Would totally come back.
- 5/5
Staff were welcoming and location is excellent. A great value in downtown.
- 5/5
Good location with everything in walking distance.
- 5/5
The staff was phenomenal and the property was very clean and modern. Definitely would book again.
- 4/5
Great location and view from the room
- 4/5
Top floor view was nice, property is somewhat aged with some signs of wear but staff is nice and accommodating and location is central.
- 5/5
I loved how close the property was to everything. Staff was super helpful as well!
- 5/5
Great hotel, great location, no complaints!
- 5/5
I did not have breakfast at the restaurant, the coffee was good and the cocktails in the bar were delicious
- 5/5
amazing place good location
- 4.5/5
Coffee maker in room
- 5/5
Location, staff was top notch
- 5/5
Front desk staff were top notch!
- 3/5
Was lacking some of the amenities newer/updated hotels have to offer, even simple things like being able to take a bubble bath were not an option despite having a large soaking tub in the room. We were told we weren't even allowed to use bubble bath. There were ants in the bathroom. Some of the decor and fixtures etc were very dated and not upkept.
- 5/5
clean room helpful staff
- 3/5
Unfortunately that’s where the good things end. Our room was filthy, the bathroom especially which was in a state of disrepair. Black mold, water damage, our toilet stopped working day one but the as quickly fixed. Our biggest challenge came from the bed however. The first night we had to request our sheets be replaced as they were soiled/stained when we turned the sheets down. The bed itself was also extremely uncomfortable. We are 2 lightweight people and the mattress was extremely lumpy and uneven, very difficult to sleep on.
- 5/5
Clean rooms great staf
- 4/5
Staff wonderful. bar ok reasonably priced. Food not so good in my opinion. Ate in restaurant and bar. Next time I’ll order in or go for a walk.i think many options in the area. Room was great. I needed an ADA bath and vroom I was very comfortable in this room. Very accessible. I’ll be staying at the paramount again next month and in July it’s a good value in a good location.
- 2.5/5
Location very near Arlene Schnitzer Bed was uncomfortable, room not cleaned well, and bathroom poorly cleaned. Staff lovely but breakfast not very good.
- 5/5
Room was clean
- 5/5
The staff is friendly. An issue with the room was quickly rectified.
- 5/5
Good stay
- 5/5
Very good hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and facilities. Great location.
- 5/5
The restaurant and bar have creative and tasty fare. This was my second stay here and I definitely plan to come back.
- 5/5
Nice staff. No personal coffee maker in rooms.
- 5/5
Room and entire property was exceptionally clean. Great vibe in both bars. Checkin was flawless. The only think I have to say negative was the hotel entry doors seemed to be inoperative so they were fairly difficult to open and I’m a pretty big dude. Other than that wonderful stay. I will be back.
- 4/5
No breakfast but they did have free hot delicious coffee in the lobby. I typically drink Illy or Starbucks at home and this stuff was just as good.
- 5/5
Room was great and view from balcony was superb! Housekeeping came by couple times and refreshed towels and made the bed. No breakfast bar and I did not utilize the coffee area. Staff was great and always friendly.
- 4/5
Price of parking is so expensive. Bad enough you don't even get a whole night for the price but then have to pay parking on top of it.
- 5/5
Spotless clean, and spacious. I’d definitely love to stay again.
- 5/5
The hotel is a bit older but rooms and common areas have been well maintained. The room was very clean. This is a great place to stay for the money. Would stay here again when visiting Portland.
- 4/5
Had some issues with a very loud air conditioner. So I changed rooms. Staff was very helpful about it. Converted location if you are headed to the theater.
- 5/5
It was comfortable and clean. The only criticism I have is that the website needs to have more info about food/drink. Specifically, it would be helpful to post that there’s coffee in the lobby (since there’s no coffee maker in the room) and that food deliveries can’t be brought up to your door. Small stuff, I know. Overall, I had a lovely stay!
- 5/5
Great location, beautiful views, and the staff are super helpful. Not much
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful with helping us find restaurants and things to do in the area. The hotel was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Good, staff were cool
- 5/5
Good selections for breakfast
- 4/5
Comfortable beds. Staff is pleasant without being smarmy. Location is great - close to restaurants, shops, river, etc. There are homeless people around but they won't bother you.
- 5/5
The two restaurants inside the hotel are also amazing with friendly staff, wonderful food, and drinks.
- 5/5
This is my go to hotel in Portland, I’m in Portland 2-3 times a year and started stay here exclusively because of location, comfort, walkability, convenience and value.
- 4/5
The room had a wonderful view
- 3.5/5
the location, friendliness, and the accessibility to restaurants in hotel. i guess maybe the shower wasn’t as clean
- 5/5
Staff are very friendly
- 5/5
I stayed two nights this month (April 2026) and received exceptional service from check in to check out. Aika and Ethan were super professional and offer customer great service. I will book againg when I get back to Portland.
- 3/5
There was no parking garage for the hotel, the ones we found a couple blocks away were $60ish a night. I did NOT like that the room didn't have its own coffee maker. To have to get dressed and presentable just to get my morning cup of coffee was a real inconvenience (need it before I even shower). For this reason I personally will not use this hotel again.
- 3/5
No free breakfast, no coffee maker in room, only basic cable on tv. Bed was very nice and the staff were helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
This hotel is in the heart of the old downtown Portland, west of the river. It was a block to the venue, and convenient to the library, many nice restaurants, coffee shops, and other shops. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and the bar was a fun place to eat, drink, and people-watch. There is a more formal restaurant and a gym on the property. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with great views of downtown Portland. The off-site parking was a block away and reasonably priced, although the parking spaces are a tight fit. All in all, a much better experience than we expected. Would definitely stay here when in Portland again.
- 5/5
This was such a nice and quiet hotel in a great location downtown. Walking distance to so many restaurants and entertainment.
- 5/5
Nice and clean room with a balcony.
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay and staff
- 5/5
Room was clean, and spacious. I could hear phone ring from next door, but that was it. Location was great as well.
- 5/5
Good room
- 3/5
Thankfully for us, we spent most of the day out and about. The rest of the purpose for sleeping and cleaning, and that's it.
- 5/5
The room was immaculate & appointed beautifully. Room & bath linens & pillows were luxurious/wonderful. Staff were polite and knowledgeable. Great lounge for an evening's chill.
- 5/5
Valet and easy to walk to restaurants.
- 5/5
No pool :(
- 4/5
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large and updated nicely. The towels were plentiful and plush. The water for the showers was nice and hot. I would prefer coffee in the room instead of having to go downstairs to get coffee. The bathroom in the lobby requires a code. We should be able to use our room card for that. It would be nice if the hotel had a hot tub. Parking is $60-80 a night, and should be included in the price of the room.
- 4/5
Room was nice and spacious but did not love that there was no coffee pot in the room. I also didn’t like the parking situation, felt that valet was really the only option which was an additional $60. Was a good stay but probably would look for somewhere with better amenities.
- 5/5
They don’t offer a breakfast bar. The coffee is the hotel lobby now, which is fine with us. We always pick the Paramount hotel.
- 4/5
The hotel was a comfortable place to spend a couple of days exploring Portland. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I missed not having a personal coffee station in my room. Thankfully, there were many good coffee shops near by. I was both surprised and uncomfortable with the amount of homeless near the hotel and around the downtown area. Overall, I would recommend the Paramount to anyone staying in Portland for a few days.
- 5/5
You can’t ask for a better location and the prices are very favorable. Room was clean, staff very friendly. Ate at two onsite restaurants.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice views of the city.
- 5/5
I liked it' location and the services were excellent.
- 5/5
The only downside were the linens and pillows. The pillows had an oily, musky scalp smell that was pretty unpleasant. It would be great if the hotel could wash the actual pillows more frequently, not just the pillowcases, or replace them periodically.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 5/5
Fantastic stay. The view from my room was lovely.
- 3/5
Dining in both restaurants was excellent. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Location is excellent. The hotel needs to be updated/refreshed. Furniture and fixtures as well as conveniences are lacking.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel for an overnight trip to Portland
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Always love this convenient and friendly place
- 5/5
Troubles at Valet with long waits do to parked cars directly in front of entrance and zero help from valet even at $60 per night
- 5/5
Our room was great for our family of 4. We evicted our stay, and a nightcap at the whisky bar in the hotel.
- 5/5
Great central location. Easy to walk to great restaurants and other attractions.
- 5/5
It didn’t have coffee in the room but the jet tub bathroom, huge separate shower, and spacious bathroom was great. King with patio with table & 4 chairs.
- 5/5
Best breakfast!
- 5/5
Good size rooms and amenities. Staff is very nice and professional.
- 5/5
V nice stay
- 5/5
It was a great ladies staycation. Everyone was super nice and the food was great
- 5/5
Awesome!!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, always greeting us as we passed by, and checking in with us. Rooms were clean and spacious with a great view. First floor had tea and coffee available for us at any time of the day. The location was ideal! Close enough to walk everywhere or catch the max/bus. We love going to the movies and Regal cinemas was right across the street, very convenient. We used the overnight parking for $25 which was extremely close to the hotel
- 5/5
Great corner room overlooking the coty. Beautiful!
- 5/5
Everything was outstanding - staff was super nice and helpful. Only coffee at the breakfast but it was good, and the gym was really excellent. It's right on Pioneer Square so that's... interesting, but we had a GREAT view.
- 5/5
Good drinks restaurant on site
- 4/5
My stay was good. Only thing I would complain about is the iron in the room which leaked and unfortunately ruined some of my clothes.
- 2/5
Unfortunately we did not have a great experience here. Although the front desk people were very friendly, neither Expedia or the hotel itself warned us there would be road construction right outside our room until 1 am. All the other guests had already asked to change rooms so we were simply offered earplugs which don’t help much when there is jackhammering going on. The hotel was aware of this and should have contacted us since they were putting us on that side of the hotel. Coffee and tea selections were very minimal in the morning in the lobby as well. Usually Expedia includes all fees in their final price. After we checked out the hotel also included another $60 in city taxes. Thankfully Expedia set it right and gave us a refund for the taxes.
- 5/5
It is a great hotel in a convenient location to art museum and other attractions. Park your car at the lot across the street and walk!!
- 4/5
No in-room coffee or hot water dispenser. Otherwise, a nice room at a fair price. Can't comment on f&b as we did not try either of the hotels two options.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff very friendly and centrally located.
- 4/5
location Bar credit option
- 3/5
It’s a really central location. Close to amazing restaurants and food courts even shopping and parking garages. The bathrobes were nowhere to be found. There was urine on my toilet seat upon arrival. The mattress seems to slope down to the floor where the headboard is. The lights on the balcony didn’t work our first night. The woman at the front desk is obviously just here for a check as she was a bit dismissive like she was in a hurry to get rid of us.
- 5/5
Beautiful exterior. Lobby was inviting. Staff were friendly. Exquisite bath tub. Having 2 excellent restaurants on site was awesome. No idea where the ice machine was. We are from a little town, not used to the big city. Parking in Portland was stressful. I didn’t see in the booking site any info about the hotel’s valet parking, which would have been so nice to use.
- 5/5
Comfy firm beds
- 3.5/5
No microwaves in the rooms or coffee pots. If you purchase food from restaurant and want to warm up later but can't cause there is only 1 microwave located in the lobby its an inconvenience when your trying to relax and its a waste of food and the money used to buy the food from the on site restaurant. The inconvenience of no coffee pot in the rooms when again you must go to the lobby for coffee.
- 0.5/5
Too expensive for a simple stay. Not to mention that I payed $60 for valet & they damaged my car and they didn’t wan

good listeners. I recommend that $10/day for breakfast, lunch or dinner be “more” especially if there is a family.
- 5/5
Great location! Excellent staff and service.
- 3/5
Amenities and rooms
- 5/5
The front desk staff is awesome!! Very friendly and professional!
- 4/5
The amount for your valet payment was atrocious. $60.00 a day is a bit excessive.
- 5/5
This is our “Go to” hotel when we stay in Portland. Wonderful front desk service, clean rooms, great beds. Actually comfortable beds is one of the first things I look for when reading hotel reviews. Nice bedding linens too. They also give a $10 credit for the restaurants downstairs, which are great. The Whiskey bar right downstairs has an excellent happy hour, where my husband likes their beers on tap, and they have wonderful mocktails, so I assume their regular cocktails are too. The other restaurant has nice meals where we always have breakfast. Actually, there are great restaurants all over this neighborhood, all within walking distance. There is a Nordstrom one block away. We love this hotel for many reasons.
- 4/5
Room quality is OK for the price but not amazing.
- 5/5
Great stay in DT Portland!
- 5/5
Over all good experience
- 5/5
Yes rooms have always been clean, the lobby as well. Staff has always been great as well.
- 5/5
You could clean the elevator floor, otherwise it was an awesome stay!
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff helpful and friendly. I thought the restaurant 9:00a opening on Sat and Sun was not early enough for visitors. Also the hotel should upgrade the TP, it's a bit rough.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and a clean looking hotel. Located near many different restaurants, bars, and places to get coffee. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Very clean room and friendly staff.
- 3/5
Improvements can be made to valet.
- 5/5
Clean hotel, nice staff, good free coffee and tea.
- 5/5
Great staff, great room and great cheesecake
- 5/5
The girl at the front desk that checked us in on Friday night was so professional, and efficient, and wonderful to work with! She is very friendly and kind. Fastest and most perfect check in ever. Thank you!!!

Asked for water to my room did not receive it , ac unit very old had odor and there was flies in the room
- 4/5
Okay
- 5/5
Room was up to expectations and the staff were helpful, kind and generous.
- 4/5
The room was quiet, clean. The blackout curtains are nice.
- 5/5
Clean, good location, nice staff!
- 1/5
Not liked
- 2/5
For a 4 star hotel, the amenities felt like off a 2 star hotel. There was no coffee maker, no complimentary water. I honestly don't know if there is a way to describe how i feel about this false 4 star narrative.
- 5/5
The staff and service was exceptional. High level of care and cleanliness.
- 2/5
Looks good in pic but the actual hotel was old.
- 5/5
Staff are great
- 3/5
The staff were very friendly. The long bathtub with jets that was shown online in the suite pictures was not the square non-jets tub that was in our room. There was no coffee maker, no smart tv, no room service, holes in the sheets and the air unit in the bedroom did not work. The drinks in the bar were excellent with very polite staff. The bar food was disappointing with undercooked calamari and very miniature sliders. The city view from our room was beautiful. I would not stay here again, the expensive suite was not worth the price.
- 4/5
Great front desk, well appointed room, good restaurant
- 4/5
Staff were helpful and nice. Room could have used a little extra TLC but still a solid stay.
- 5/5
Excellent as always

The room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly :)
- 5/5
Great location! Upgraded to the executive king and loved the bigger/separate bathtub and shower. The staff are always helpful and kind. Swine Bar has yummy eats and good drinks.

The location and service is great.
- 5/5
Staff was awesome, room was good, no complaints
- 5/5
The staff is lovely. The bar is great and the location is unbeatable
- 4/5
Staff and location were great!
- 5/5
Clean room, pleasant staff, close proximity to everything loved everything about this hotel will definitely be in my plans whenever I come back to Portland

Great stay
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, comfortable bed
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
They had excellent service when you arrived and they greeted you with a smile and they quickly got my family checked in. I had a great location next to a garage with an EV charger. There are several restaurants close by which makes it very convenient.
- 5/5
Room was spotless! Staff was super friendly as well!
- 5/5
Excellent staff, clean and amazing room, extremely convenient to alot of walking restaurants and store's.
- 5/5
The rooms are large and spotless, the front staff could not possibly be more accommodating and helpful, and it is walking distance to absolutely everything.
- 5/5
Bathroom was incredible with jet tub!
- 5/5
Great room, great food and great staff.
- 5/5
Excellent service from check-in to storing my bags for the day after I checked out.
- 4/5
Clean room, quiet, nice restaurants. Our only complaint was the parking charge and difficult garage to maneuver in ( elevator was not working).
- 5/5
The room was spotless and very comfortable! The staff was also excellent and friendly.
- 5/5
everything was excalent
- 4/5
Staff
- 4/5
Definitely needs better pillows other than that amazing!
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
and nothing was too difficult for the customers. Nice housekeepers, remade the beds, stocked the soap and loved having a shower cap that many hotels don’t have.
- 4/5
My review is 3.5/5. I enjoyed my stay the staff was great, prime real-estate to walk anywhere and just a cool place. But when I went to use a clean water cup it was super dirty, clear whatever marks, I got them replaced but it threw me off the entire stay.
- 3/5
Room was older needed some repairs and painting. They try to overcharge you for parking so be aware. Our SUV is shorter than our sedan and they were trying to charge us for oversized parking. The staff was friendly, but watch out for over charging.
- 3/5
Bathroom smelled like mold
- 2/5
Not enough staff and just was not how it looked online
- 5/5
Great location. Large quiet room. Easy check-in.
- 5/5
Nice room and toiletries, bathroom tiles a bit old and skeetchy but everything else was great.
- 4/5
Great value for a super location.
- 5/5
It was spectacular! I really enjoyed waking up in the morning to the city view from my room. The front desk attendant went above and beyond to help us. He fixed my rental key fob issue I had! I was able to sleep with peace of mind. The room was clean and bed sheets were so comfy and soft! bathtub is huge. loved it!!!
- 5/5
Very excellent
- 5/5
Muy lindo el hotel, la ubicacion excelente y la atencion muy buena.
- 5/5
Clean hotel and great staff
- 2/5
My truck was broken into and the passenger side window was smashed leaving glad all over seat. The hotel staff did fix the widow with plexiglass allowing me to get home, but there was glad throughout the front of the car that was found after we got in the road for our 6 hour drive. They did the best they could but i beekeeping the garage was left unluckiest and the alarms were not turned on the cars. Several cars were damaged
- 3/5
Could do more
- 4/5
Room cleaned. Staff nice and professional
- 5/5
Great stay in Portland close to many restaurants and businesses. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Early check-in and late check-out facilities were helpful.
- 3/5
Staff were friendly
- 4/5
There was a hole in the tub in room 701 and could not keep water in there for a bath. Staff was wonderfully nice!
- 4/5
Helpful and friendly
- 5/5
Room well-appointed, staff friendly, restaurant great ambiance. Good parking close by.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, right downtown.
- 4/5
Good experience! Super clean, everyone was super nice, everything is close by for stuff to do and eat, and overall great experience
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming and the room was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be back I'm sure!
- 3/5
no room coffee, coffee at 6 am so doesn't help if you want coffee any earlier; no tv guide; large pillows not comfortable, ten dollar gift not usable since restaurant not open and nothing in room refrigerator to purchase. So basically poor amneties but room is large and clean...but definitely no special treats
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, great restaurant
- 5/5
Very good bars/restaurants onsite!
- 4/5
It was nice the restaurant and whiskey bar were closed
- 5/5
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only complaint was the water didn’t stay hot enough. But other than that we enjoyed ourselves.
- 4/5
Room nice and clean staff were helpful and nice i stay in room 403 in the bathroom the sink when in use fell up to soon and drain very very slow. Bath should be clean and working properly at arrival of my stay. When the sink doesn't work right how much fun is your one night stay. (Think about when a person staying one night and this happen its not a nice experience.)
- 5/5
Staffs are amazing
- 5/5
Clean room, staff, amenities, location
- 4/5
The hotel was nice and everything, but one of the front desk people, Cassidy, really killed the vibe for us. She was so snooty and condescending to us during check-in that we spent the whole trip feeling like we weren't good enough to be staying at this hotel. Which is wild, considering this is a place that doesn't have coffee makers in the rooms. Never been treated like that before and I don't intend to repeat the experience, as there loads of hotel options in Portland.
- 4/5
Fairly standard rooms
- 4/5
Clean room, and spacious
- 2/5
The internet was extremely slow and could not support our work. Even though other hotels we have worked in with no issues. The toilet kept getting clogged and other peoples feces kept coming into our toilet. The sink kept filling up as well. Seems to be some plumbing issues. We ended up leaving our trip early due to the issues, yet were offered nothing for our troubles. We typically never complain, in fact I always try to make the most of everything. However these issues made our trip brutal. Waking up to the smell of someone else’s feces was just gross.
- 5/5
A
- 5/5
Everything was good top to bottom. Nice location reasonably priced and very helpful staff.
- 4/5
Room was clean, but unfortunately that's about it. The bathroom door did not close completely, the toilet needed to be plunged and there was NO IN ROOM COFFEE, which was not disclosed until check in. Having to dress and go to the lobby to get coffee is not my idea of a quality hotel experience.
- 2/5
The night when we checked in, everything seems to be in place and normal till we start using the bathroom sink and bathtubs. Their bathroom sink leaks water and got the whole bathroom wet, so does their bathtub area. We reach out to the front desk and they were able to switch another room for us. Their ability to respond to the situation was appreciated, however the wet and cold floor kind of kills the vacation spirit.
- 5/5
Nice spot. Will stay there again.
- 5/5
Otherwise, everything else was great.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel, our favorite
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Great value for PDX downtown
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Clean upscale just incredible
- 5/5
Front desk staff was very helpful, room was clean and comfortable! On site bar had friendly staff and delicios drinks for a great price! Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
It’s a good place to stay after a day of travel.
- 5/5
Beautiful property in a prime area.
- 5/5
Positive experience in all aspects
- 5/5
Had a great stay. Valet guys were awesome.
- 5/5
ok
- 4/5
Really loved, staying here. The view outside my window looking towards the Max was amazing. The only thing that really bothered me, was that the room had a refrigerator, but no microwave, if I wanted to reheat leftovers. I felt that I had to go out and waste food, because I couldnt eat it again.
- 5/5
Great service, clean, friendly staff.
- 4/5
It’s a nice hotel. Food at Swine restaurant is good. Valet was a bit slow and, obviously, wanted a tip
- 4/5
I have stayed at the Paramount Hotel several times, and I have always had a wonderful stay. The location sits across the street from Director's Park with access to Nordstroms and shops within steps. The hotel has a nice lobby with professional staff. The rooms are spacious with luxury bedding, a desk, and a sitting chair. Our room on the 12th floor had great downtown views. The hotel has a great restaurant, Taylor Street Tavern, and Swine Moonshine and Whiskey Bar. The only suggestion I have for the hotel is to put the coffee/tea makers back into the rooms. They removed them, and now guests are forced to grab their coffee in the main lobby. Guests do not want to have to get dressed to grab their first cup of coffee!
- 5/5
Spotless, well appointed room. Courteous staff & great location.
- 4/5
Clean rooms very comfortable courtious staff
- 5/5
Clean room, staff were great, bar was good, downtown is super neat and we loved the tree in the commons!
- 5/5
The food in their Taylor Street Tavern was surprisingly good, and inexpensive.
- 5/5
Clean room front desk staff wad very kind
- 5/5
Hotel was fantastic.
- 4/5
No coffee pot in the room! Not very PDX
- 4/5
Great location & restaurant.
- 5/5
Clean room nice staff central downtown
- 5/5
The location, the room, view from the room, clean and spacious room, restaurant and bar on site, reception service, all great place to stay.
- 5/5
Balcony is nice. Staffs are friendly. Excellent location for shopping.
- 2/5
Felt neglected staff made me feel uncomfortable
- 5/5
The sourdough toast butter and jam was amazing
- 5/5
Room was clean. Everyone was super friendly. Comfortable bed. Just had a really good experience
- 5/5
Clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I suggest as an improvement is coffee makers in the rooms. It's a little inconvenient to have to get dressed to go to the lobby to get coffee in the morning. The restaurant and bar had good food and was a great option if you don't have time to explore the area for food.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet
- 5/5
Loved the balcony. Great location!!
- 5/5
Nice Hotel
- 5/5
Amazing hotel
- 4/5
Great - easy and fast - amazing location
- 5/5
Wonderfully quick overnight stay for a girl's staycation which included a matinee across the street at the Regal Fox tower, area shopping, and our planned concert at the nearby Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. The Paramount is the perfect location to do it all! Highly professional and courteous staff from the valet, to the front desk, and the restaurant staff. The room itself was super clean and the beds were so comfortable. Can't say enough about the experience!
- 5/5
Great staff, great rooms!!
- 5/5
I love it- Great service
- 3/5
Room was clean and had a nice city view. Water temperature and pressure tended to be unstable. hot water could disappear, and water pressure drop by half at any time.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, excellent central location, great value for the price. One minor issue I had was with the low water pressure in the shower, although this just may be personal preference.
- 5/5
Great hotel great location and staff are all very hrlpful
- 5/5
Very noce staff, good convient location good restaurants on property
- 4/5
We were only there for one night but everything went well. The room was clean, comfortable and had a pleasant view. No complaints.
- 5/5
Staff
- 4/5
Good location
- 5/5
Nice, room and with a fee we got to check in early. Nice hotel, staff was nice I’d go back there.
- 4/5
Love it here, my go to for Portland. The restaurants are great, rooms are nice size - and love the balcony’s. Only wished there was an in room coffee maker for coffee or tea, but otherwise, it’s great!
- 5/5
Very recommended & definitely we’ll be back. Thank you for the amazing hospitality
- 5/5
Great location, classy, great value
- 5/5
We stayed here for our anniversary and I wish I could give this hotel more stars. They went above and beyond on our requests and were very informative when we had questions. Valet service also went above and beyond! Everyone was very friendly as well. Beautiful hotel in a perfect downtown location! We absolutely loved the deep soaking tub in the room. The bed was SO comfy and those pillows were pure heaven so now we’re looking at purchasing them for our place. The restaurant staff on site were also absolutely amazing. It was super busy Friday night but they were still so friendly and everything was just amazing. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back!
- 2/5
No coffee the room was small and the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly.
- 5/5
Room was perfect. Staff at front desk was pleasant and very helpful. Housekeeper was warm, pleasant and extremely attentive to my needs! The valet people were friendly, helpful and exceeded my expectations for my car being delivered to the front door! The food and service in the Taylor Street Whiskey Tavern was wonderful! Would definitely recommend all of this to my friends and family!❤️
- 5/5
Excellent service and stay, as usual!
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Great property
- 5/5
The room was really nice and clean
- 5/5
Easy check-in process and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was good size. Great location.
- 5/5
Staff was great and we loved the location.
- 5/5
The hotel is lovely and location great. I was able to walk to every place that I wanted to go. Staff very friendly, in particular Eric at the front desk and the wait staff in the tavern.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Everything. Highlights the differences between a 4.5-star room versus a 3-star room.
- 3/5
Room we stayed in had black mold in the shower one of the nights didn’t work
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful, the staff was wonderful, valet parking was a life saver.
- 5/5
I love the Paramount's central downtown location. The room was surprisingly spacious for the price. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would happily stay there again.
- 5/5
clean and quiet
- 3/5
Would have liked a coffee maker in the room or available in lobby all day.
- 5/5
Wr arrived early and they checked us in early. We had requested an upper floor and we made it to the 14 floor which was appreciated! Everything was very nice. Great location!
- 5/5
This is the 4th time staying here. Everytime It solidifies why I stay here. My only go to when it comes to Portland!! Bravo!
- 5/5
Great room easy street parking no Coffee maker in the room.
- 4/5
Downtown area was very loud and dirty. The building itself was fairly nice
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here before. The location is absolutely central to all of Portland. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are welcoming and comfortable.
- 4/5
Tap water was a bit foggy. Had to pay for bottle water. Room was good size and comfortable. No maid service because we only stayed 2 nights.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. In particular Eric at the front desk was great
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
- 3/5
Paramount is quite basic. But I don’t expect much from today’s Portland. The saddest largest disco ball across the street hoped for more…
- 5/5
friendly staff good food very nice rooms
- 4/5
Hotel was very nice, spacious and well appointed. However, the shower had hair both on the wall and rolled up in a bunch on the side of the tub, which means it wasn’t cleaned properly between guests. I am aware this must happen, so I never touch shower walls, and I bring my own wipes to clean surfaces. I would still return if it was the nice price that I paid in this off season. Everything otherwise seemed very clean and of good quality. Self parking was easy and safe next door (much cheaper than the hotel valet parking). The area restaurants are very good. We enjoyed brunch in the Tavern on site, and a delicious dinner at Pastini Italian Restaurant across the way. I liked how walkable the whole downtown area is. Pictures are from our 4th floor balcony room. Only a few floors have balconies, so I’d rather have a regular room higher up with a view & away from any random noises below (good thing I sleep like a log), though it was pretty quiet, nothing bothersome at all happened.
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
very comfortable bedding i slept like a baby!
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Very comfortable room, pleasant staff. Conveniently located downtown.
- 5/5
Great stay. Friendly staff
- 5/5
Third time staying at this hotel and have not been disappointed yet. Great location amenities and staff
- 4/5
Easy check-in, large rooms, clean and pleasant. Free coffee in the morning. Parking garages are nearby and possible to be self-park if you want to save a little money. Good views of city from many of the rooms. Economical, pleasant stay.
- 5/5
I didn't have any breakfast
- 5/5
The hotel is incredibly conveniently located for the event we attended. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.
- 5/5
Clean room and easy parking
- 5/5
A very old city city vibe hotel. Old, but beautiful.
- 5/5
Clean spacious room. Staff were cheerful friendly and helpful, close to every thing.
- 2/5
The bath faucet was kinda dated and took 20 min to get hot water, we ordered more towels and received dirty towels. The tv was old. I can’t recommend this place for the price
- 4/5
The room was spacious and clean, the big problem was showering in COLD water.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying on the west side because we were on the east side and it was very noisy. Rooms clean and the chairs are very comfortable.
- 4/5
Staff was great, room could use a few updates but generally nice and clean
- 5/5
Clean rooms & spacious rooms
- 5/5
The Paramount Hotel is quite exceptional. Staff are all helpful and friendly; location is ideal for those wanting a downtown Portland experience; and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. My ONLY disappointment was that they removed the coffee makers from the rooms and make you go down to the lobby if you want a morning cup of joe.
- 4/5
Quick check-in. A little longer wait for valet, but other than that - everything is good.
- 4/5
Safe, clean, great customer service, and walking distance to food, shopping, transit, and the MODA Center. The only reason I did not give a 5 due to the room decor is outdated
- 5/5
Excellent central location, I was able to walk everywhere. Many restaurants nearby and onsite.
- 5/5
Would return!
- 5/5
Room was great, staff were wonderful and dinner at Taylor Street Grill was fantastic!
- 5/5
Great room, friendly staff, and good food and drinks.
- 4/5
The only thing that kept me from giving it that 5th star was the lack of a coffeemaker in the room - I'm one of those vampires that can't look out at the light until I've had my fix, so to have to mingle with humans while my eyes are still crossed and before my neurons are firing was a bit painful, but everything else made it worth it LOL. No joke, loved it. We were looking directly out at Directors Park from a super clean room with super comfortable bed tended to by a helpful and friendly staff. The gym was clean and the equipment was well-maintained and the location was perfect and very convenient to everything, which was mostly walkable from the hotel. We only spent one night, but we LOVED our stay and have vowed to return here next time we're in Portland (but I will be packing instant coffees...).
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Good small hotel option in downtown Portland, perfectly safe for women travelers.
- 5/5
Appreciated the large room(King with balcony), very clean, felt like a safe area, enjoyed a drink at Swine the whiskey bar in hotel
- 5/5
Warm staff and good room
- 5/5
The hotel was so clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff were very polite.
- 5/5
Nice place. Would definitely stay again. $60/night for parking is crazy. Paid $20 in the garage next door.
- 5/5
Great hotel with good restaurant and great lication
- 5/5
My husband and I enjoyed or stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful and the view from our room was beautiful!
- 5/5
We had the best time staying at your establishment. Friendly staff, room was spotless, great bed and pillows!! We'll definitely be back!!!
- 5/5
The hotel was amazing, staff was so friendly, room was spacious and everything was clean, would absolutely stay here again!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Spotless room, friendly staff, super comfortable bed and pillows.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, and delicious food on site!
- 4/5
Nice staff. Rooms are big and clean. The bar is very good.
- 5/5
The room was cozy and comfy for my small family.
- 5/5
Lovely staff and room is comfortable and clean.
- 4/5
Great professional staff
- 5/5
Amazing lobby and restaurants. Rooms could use a tiny bit of updating but the spacious bath tub and lounge tray more than made up for it. Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, staff is amazing, great downtown location.
- 1/5
Charged me $20 to wash a pair of sweatpants.
- 5/5
Yes, perfect room
- 5/5
The location was convenient and easy to get to. The only issue I had was they wanted $99 to park my minivan, "oversized vehicle" at the valet. When I asked, they pointed me to the self-park, so kudos for that. $26 instead and less than a block away. I only slept so no breakfast but the restaurant looked great and prices were similar to other downtown prices. BTW there was no warzone in Portland.
- 5/5
Room was nice with great staff
- 5/5
Clean rooms and elegant feeling. The restaurant was great and valet was quick. 10/10
- 5/5
Very nice hotel! Staff were very helpful and friendly, restaurants on premises were great, and it was conveniently located to everything.
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay at the Paramount Hotel in Portland, Oregon! The whole experience was absolutely wonderful — the hotel felt luxurious and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room was spotless and beautifully maintained. We especially loved our big balcony with a table, which made it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the city views. Everything about our stay was top-notch. We’d definitely stay here again — highly recommend the Paramount Hotel to anyone visiting Portland! 🌆✨
- 1/5
The valet parking service at this hotel is extremely disappointing. The staff were rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived — no greeting, no offer to help with our luggage, and they acted like we were inconveniencing them. When it came time to get our car, it took forever, even though the area wasn’t busy. For a hotel of this level, you’d expect courteous and efficient service, but the valet team clearly needs serious retraining. It left a really bad impression on what could have been a nice stay.
- 5/5
The first night we were there, people in our neighboring suite were extremely rowdy. The next morning, we requested to be moved and they gave us an upgrade. It was great experience after that. The hotel is located in prime downtown area it’s walkable distance to food and shopping and convenient parking nearby. Would highly recommend!
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
My stay was excellent, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Will definitely be staying here again with my future weekend getaways to Portland.
- 5/5
Clean room. Staff were accomodating.
- 5/5
Clean and big
- 5/5
The room was clean and view was beautiful.
- 5/5
Helpful staff and great location
- 4/5
Need to update their T.V.’s
- 5/5
Yes to both. We also liked the location
- 5/5
The room was soitless
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Ideal downtown stop. Great value and wonderful rooms
- 2/5
cleanliness lacked, bugs all over room, dusty, floor was dirty
- 4/5
very accommodating hotel and located centrally in downtown portland, I most appreciated how local and walkable the location was to nearby adventures (Japanese gardens, Powell bookstore, food/eateries). they had umbrellas available at the front to borrow during the rainy weather, and were very understandable. Price was a little more hefty and included minor extra service charges I did not expect, however it was not as bad/expensive as the amenity fees that had been previously mentioned in reviews.
- 5/5
Did a staycation with friends. Excellent location. The locations was safe and everything was in walking distance (shopping, eating, PSU, etc.)
- 5/5
Very nice room, spacious, comfortable and a beautiful view. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. Great location. I would highly recommend. Great experience!
- 5/5
Lovely hotel with options for early check in and late check out
- 5/5
Room was very large and was spotless! The staff were wonderful.
- 5/5
Everything was great! The only thing I didn’t like was that the view windows had bearly any privacy but other then that everything was amazing don’t let that stop you from visiting this place 10/10
- 4/5
We stayed there on Friday & Saturday, but no one told us at the check-in that the breakfast starts late on weekends, and we booked a day tour that started at 8:00am on Saturday, so we did not have chance to grab breakfast. Other than this, everything else were good.
- 5/5
Clean and beautiful staff was amazing
- 3/5
Room window sheers torn and ragged,
- 5/5
Staff was very polite. We had an amazing room with an amazing view. I will totally go back again!
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, safe area

- 5/5
Convenient location, clean comfy room. Attentive and friendly staff
- 5/5
Very nice people. Great rooms!
- 5/5
Staff were very nice, clean room and nice building
- 4/5
Hreat location. We didn't have breakfast, but bith on-site restaurants were good.
- 5/5
cleanliness of rooms, friendly staff
- 5/5
The property was beautiful! The intimate lobby was comfortable, well decorated, and inviting. Checkin and checkout was super easy. The room was very large and had all of the modern convinces like free WiFi, makeup remover wipes, and a refrigerator that was so quiet I didn’t have to unplug it. Plus, it kept everything very cold. The location was ideal for getting around town using public transportation. The red train stop was right outside the doors.
- 4/5
Great sptm
- 5/5
Good hotel in downtown Portland. Shops and restaurants can be found nearby. Easy to walk to a number of places of interest. Safe and clean area around the hotel. Staff was friendly. On-site restaurant (Taylor’s Tavern) was convenient and actually pretty good. Would stay here again.

Staff were amazing. Very friendly and when I realized my already parked car had my charger in it, one of the Valets retrieved it and then apologized for taking a whole 15 min to bring it to me. Mind you, this was during prime checkin time. Great staff. Room was spacious and immaculate. Highly recommend!

Great Customer Service

Advertising as a premium hotel. Very much location centric. Amenities are basic but fancy appearing. Clean inside, downtown Portland outside. Was an average stay. I would stay here again, but with slightly tempered expectations.

Bathrooms are only in your room till you check in. It says public bathroom on LL, but when you get down there you need a key.

Very nice downtown hotel

Quick and fine.

$10 a night credit was nice for breakfast.

Balcony room was noisy. Even though doors were fully closed and locked we could still smell Marijuana and other smoke in our room.had to keep the fan running most of the time to help circulate and aleviate the smell. Multiple altercations/noise during the night (sounded like fights?) Across the street in the park. Other tjan that we were happy with the property.

Nice room, comfy bed, balcony welcome surprise, no coffee maker a very unwelcome surprise.

Seriously the most comfortable beds on the planet!

Easy to get via MAX train from the airport. Conveniently located near shopping, excellent restaurants and 5 minute walk to the streetcar stop that can get you around the city. Had drinks and late dinner (open till 11:00) at Swine Whiskey Bar adjacent to the lobby. Food was good, service was excellent.

Room is spacious and quiet. It lacks some basic supplies though like paper and pens, room service menu. Kettle and tooth paste were provided upon request. The only complaint is cleanliness in the bathroom. It's clean in general but I found some hair at the bathtub and shower area which should not happen. Overall, if I visit downtown Portland again, I'd like to stay at the same place.

The carpet in the room was dirty. Housekeeping came early before checkout. Valet was very helpful. Front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Great hospitality from the staff

Beautiful room with the cutest patio that felt like we took a quick trip to Europe. The staff were all attentive and welcoming. We had issues trying to figure out how to open the patio door and they had someone upstairs to our room in less than 10 minutes. I will definitely stay here again in the future!

I stayed overnight for a business meeting, however, I wish I had booked a longer stay. I need to come back to enjoy this hotel, the restaurant and the lounge. This is a great value for the money.

It’s the most basic of hotels. Location is the only upside. With all the amazing and affordable boutique hotels around downtown Portland I suggest you go somewhere else!

Had a $10 drink credit and pre-check option. Parking was limited but option of valet or parking garages was nice. Overall good stay

I love staying at the Paramont. It’s close to Powell‘s books and several really delicious restaurants. I also like their bar.

Dresser was missing a drawer, towels were disheveled and perhaps unwashed, no coffee/tea in room as advertised.
- 4/5
Property and staff are good. Unfortunately, there were unhoused people, some drunk or ill, nearby that made me felt uneasy when walking around. Overall, it was fine.

We travel for a weeding and everything was very accesible, easy to move around and plenty of venues. Great location

I loved the deep soaking tub in my bathroom, but it wasn’t very clean. Also, the bathroom doesn’t have a fan.

Lovely hotel always stay here and it’s amazing!

I wasnt happy at all... with the room. It was suppose to be a great get away. Bathtub dirty hair in it and shower was dirty and the same with the hair in there. It was absolutely gross! And to have no kind of view!?!? Like what? Absolutely disgrace!!! I will not be staying there again!

Very good location walkable to any downtown locations.
