Reviews

I love the Hilton and this stay didn’t change my perception of the Hilton chain. I can’t wait for my next Hilton stay. Thank you Renton.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Unfortunately the pool was under construction but I'm sure once it's finished it'll be great! It would be nice if they included breakfast with the stay considering the price is a little bit on the higher side compared to some close by hotels but overall it was worth the money and we will definitely return here.

Most expensive rat hole I’ve ever stayed in
- 3/5
The hotel halls smelled of musty, stale cigarette smoke and the carpet in my room, there was a chunk out. In another room, an ADA room, the bathtub did not drain and water was up to my friend's ankles. Also, her room had a large chunk of carpet out.

Everyone working on the property was great and helpful, the food was good also
- 0.5/5
The bathroom was dirty. So when we had to wipe off the counter and front of our counter ourselves it made us question the cleanliness of the rest of the room.
- 0.5/5
convenience of location was not too far from where we were needing to be, but it was not secure and homeless encampment was less than a block away leaving us feel not secure with parking our vehicle in the lot. The bathroom was dirty. So when we had to wipe off the counter and front of our counter ourselves it made us question the cleanliness of the rest of the room.
- 4/5
Everything was in good condition. The maze-like hallway from the elevator to the room.

Never got to stay there I wouldn’t know Couldn’t refund my $155 for a night that I thought I needed due to power outage bullshit
- 4/5
It was clean but not as modern at the pictures.

If you want to be appreciated as a customer or a person, don't stay here. First words out of the check-in staff, ID. Not hello, not welcome. No mention about wifi or breakfast options. Didn't even know if I had to register my vehicle, until I overheard another traveler mention they didn't need one, while they walked by. I guess they trained their staff to be "efficient". Checked in promptly though, got my room keys and was sent off, no good night, have a nice stay... lol. Maybe he was having a rough day, or maybe he wasn't the clientele he likes staying here. Regardless, when you're paying to stay at a Hilton, I expect to be treated better than some roadside motel. And I guess, the friendly check-in agent really wanted to show us his hospitality, got the ground level room facing the road. And it's obvious this was one of their "emergency," rooms, based on the condition it was in. So in short, if you can care less about how you're treated as a paying customer, welcome to stay here, just ask for a room not facing the road.
- 4/5
The bathtub had issues draining, other than that the hotel was Pleasant.
- 1/5
The experience was horrible. The room was filthy and occupied. When I went in. I didn’t stay at the hotel. I tried to get a refund however Expedia would not honor it. I’m very disappointed in Expedia as well as the hotel. I wasted my time and money for a room that had a person staying in it

Clean room. Helpful staff.
- 5/5
Really clean, friendly staff.
- 4/5
Seems like an older property but well maintained. Staff very good helpful, friendly. My only complaint was our coffee maker didn’t work in our room. Know ever came to trade or fix. Mj or problem but when you need coffee and there is none in the lobby it can make one sad. Over all was very good experience
- 2/5
This hotel was very disappointing. It is not in a very nice area, the rooms were very basic and only adequate for the stay. They were in need of renovation and there was a musty smell around the hallways in the room. Will definitely never stay there again. I expected much more from the Hilton name.
- 3/5
Parking was good, room was clean, staff were nice. The street traffic was loud, kept us up late no fan in the bathroom (we were told it turned on automatically but it never turned on) there was mold on the ice bucket. The beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Great location !
- 3/5
The staff was ok but would I stay again, probably not.
- 5/5
The clean room and having the breakfast inside the hotel.
- 3/5
from a Hilton property. The elevator was broken, the carpet was old and worn, the corridors had a scent, and the room as average. It was by no means a bad hotel, but wasn’t a good one either.
- 2/5
The both elevators were broken and we had suitcases and bad knees.. there was no warning about this or we would have booked elsewhere. They eventually did get someone to help carry our suitcase up, but that took some time. They didn't make our room the next day-- seems like they are short staffed and cutting corners. It is a nice place, a bit isolated but feels pretty safe.
- 2/5
Both elevators were out and our room was on the fourth floor. There were no staff giving directions or information about the situation. Very disappointed. We are usually very happy with our Hilton stays. We expect more from such a well-known and branded company.
- 3/5
The hotel charged for the continental breakfast unless you were with a group. the room had a lack of upkeep on maintenance. exterior entry door card lock did not work from outside. expected more from a Hilton and for the room cost! Will not likely stay with Hilton again.
- 5/5
Ive stayed there many times i only got breakfast 1 time and there wasnt anything I got that was worth the $15.00 & the change from the $20 i threw in the tip jar in the dining area . Be nice to have a few items offeered as a free breakfast like the individually wrapped waffles & bluberry muffinscoffee juice milk basic fruit orange. Banana something . I woukd have stayed pribably a good 40 more nights lSt year had they offered a breakfast
- 5/5
Staff were very nice and rooms were clean and comfortable. The heat/AC blew too much cold air but otherwise the stay was outstanding.
- 5/5
Good price, food close by train 5 mins way good place
- 3/5
The rooms are just run down in dire need of an update
- 5/5
.All
- 2/5
Microwave oven did not work (replaced next day). No maid service on second day - made own bed ! Charge for breakfast unexpected and unwelcome surprise. Hotel needs extensive renovation and appears currently to be run as a "cash cow". No shuttle from & to SEATAC and many other services "not available". I doubt if I shall use this hotel again.
- 2/5
old and rundown, smells a little.
- 3/5
Carpet in the room was ripped. Carpet appeared old and dirty. Made m wonder how clean the room & hotel were in genera.
- 5/5
Room and services were tops!! Always a great experience! Thank You so much 😊
- 4/5
Room was a little outdated kinda smelled funky. But it was a one night pass through. So can’t complain
- 4/5
Staff was courteous, amenities were as described, room was clean and the bed was comfy. However inside the room, the air-conditioning was very loud and there didn’t appear to be a working over-the-sink light or ventilator fan. It was perfectly fine for what I needed it for, at a reasonable price.
- 5/5
It was a good deal. Great staff, clean, and fair price.
- 4/5
The rooms were cleaned. A little disappointed that I requested the room to be cleaned and it wasn’t when I returned. Overall, l was satisfied with the hotel.
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable.
- 4/5
Rooms were nice but the bathroom fan did not work. This caused slippery floors and fogged up mirrors.
- 4/5
The room was comfortable and clean. However, there was a very large tore in the carpet near the window. It is a potential danger for accident. It was reported at check-out.
- 5/5
Good hotel and staff. Location is not convenient.
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly
- 4/5
Some room updates are needed but the staff were fabulous. Easy in and out to get around. Safe area. Cheap excellent breakfast.
- 4/5
The lobby and main floor common spaces are updated and have a moderate level of elegance. Our room was comfortable and clean. You can see that rooms are less updated than the lobby. Everyone there is pleasant and service oriented. We enjoyed our stay :-)
- 4/5
Nice accommodations overall. Just a one-nighter this time. Front counter staff were great. Room and bed were clean. Would stay again.
- 3/5
This was our second booking at the end of the week to wrap up our vacation. Again the property itself is nice. And in our first stay we had the 3rd floor which was nice. But in the 2nd floor it looked really outdated and unkept. Almost looked like an entirely diff hotel because it looked so outdated. Room was ok/mid because there was broken (either smoke detector or light fixture) , staff was friendly tho they let us check in a bit early so that was great
- 5/5
I didn’t like that you had to pay additional fee for breakfast, it wasn’t a deal breaker type of thing but it would have been nice to have it available and already included in the stay. room we got for this stay was good in the 3rd floor.
- 5/5
Easy to get rides quiet nice front desk peiple
- 5/5
Clean room comfortable bed. And quiet.
- 4/5
Everything was good, except there's a few wet spots on the floor, looks like people before us threw water or something else
- 4/5
The hotel lobby was great and is in a nice area but when we got into our room, the carpet was damp and it smelled like mold. We were able to get most of the mold smell out by just keeping the windows open, but the bathroom did not had a fan and we saw visible mold near the shower. The bathroom door also wouldn't stay open on its own which made it harder to air out, so we had to keep propping items in front of the door to allow the steam out. Overall our experience was fine and the price was good but if I was staying for longer than a weekend, I wouldn't feel comfortable staying there because of the mold.
- 5/5
The staff are awesome!
- 2/5
Shabby. Carpet stained from long term use. Body hair in bathroom. Needs a complete reburb.
- 3/5
We have stayed at several Hilton Garden Inn's over the year. This one was the first that just didnt measure up. There was torn carpet in our room and the building had aged poorly. The bed was comfortable and it is in a good location.
- 2/5
I hate leaving negative reviews. I had stayed at this hotel in November of 2023 and thought it was a good convient hotel. I rebooked it for August 23rd, 2025 (room 237) for one night. We checked in and went to do some activities. When we got back and I was looking over the bed and discovered what appeared to be dried blood stains on the bed sheet and bed cover as well as on of the top pillows. I went and spoke to the front desk (this was around 9) to show him the pictures, he took the matter seriously and had me email him the photos. Do to it being late there was no housekeeping so i was given the sheets to place on the bed, while I was thankful for the clean sheets, I was disappointed that i had to take the dirty sheets off and make the bed. Overall I question the cleanliness of the rooms due to this issue and dont think for what we paid for the room there should be these types of issues.
- 4/5
Overall good experience
- 3/5
Clean property, however amenities leave something to be desired. Exercise area barely fits 2 people, breakfasts costs between $10-16 depending on the food option, heating/cooler unit was as loud as a running refrigerator when on, and the light switch for the bathroom was located outside of the bathroom - with no swtich for a vent/fan.
- 3/5
Reasonable Stay. Slightly old
- 5/5
Room appliances were quiet.
- 1/5
I had a standard I expected -- but this property was in disarray. The wallpaper was torn in the hallway on the way to our room on the 1st floor. The blinds were crooked and wouldn't straighten out. The tv was old and small. The remote sticky and would only go down. And to make things worse -- there was no fan in the bathroom to vent. I had to prop open the door with a towel and then open the window -- ON THE FIRST FLOOR with my teenage daughter. It felt like we were staying at Motel6. This place was awful. Go somewhere else.
- 2/5
our room definitely wasn’t very clean when we got there. hair in the room. fuzz every where in the room. tub was really slick like there was left over soap that wasn’t cleaned off. the from desk staff definitely wasn’t very friendly at all. nobody knew how to work the ac units in the building. me and my person that i stayed with both froze the entire time we were at the hotel. the people above us where the loudest stomping around dropping everything. ice machine on my floor never worked.
- 4/5
As expected. Close to airport. Rooms were ok. Need a bigger TV...they offer breakfast for a fee.
- 4/5
Nice atmosphere. No hassle, just nice easy stay.
- 1/5
When we arrived our door was open and you had to slam it shut. The bathroom door was completely broken on both sides. We had mysterious red stains on the sheets. The carpets all over hotel were filthy. I have stayed at a lot of Hilton’s and this was not one I will ever go back to.
- 5/5
Greg the manager was great
- 4/5
I liked how nice it looked, I did not like not having any restaurants or stores in and around that hotel there was no place to shop or do anything.
- 5/5
It was very clean and convenient.
- 3/5
Very average hotel experience however cleanliness was less than average and staff was very often away from the front desk for 15+ minutes at a time.
- 3/5
Bed was comfortable. Carpets (halls and room) were worn (hole in carpet in our room) and looked dingy. Black mildew/mold in tub/shower. No lunch or dinner options close by unless you have a car.
- 1/5
Very disappointed. Hotel is very dated and not very clean.
- 1/5
This is a very dated property. The room smelled musty and the carpet looked dirty and very worn. The hallways were dark and did not appear to have been vacuumed. Very disappointing.
- 2/5
Cushions in the lobby were very worn and stained in many places. Would never recommend.
- 3/5
Place is dated nice lobby ok rooms halls feel really dated. There is an adult entertainment bar very close. Ick!!
- 5/5
Really long and helpful staff, clean, quiet and just what I needed.

- 4/5
Hotel was nice. The breakfast was not that great and expensive.
- 4/5
Nice staff. Room is clean but outside hallway needs upkeep. No dinner served in this facility . Breakfast for a fee. Very limited choices
- 1/5
2) cracked mirror edge 3) room not clean 4) heating and ac didn’t work and they said no maintenance on weekends
- 2/5
We’ve been to nicer Hilton Hotels. You can tell this one is outdated. Front desk was not available for check-in, no greetings or whatever every time we passed by. No housekeeping throughout the stay. Pool has no water in it. I really can’t say anything good for the price we paid. Breakfast wasn’t even included.
- 4/5
The room was clean but looked run down
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
The hotel itself was very nice. However, they advertise as pet friendly. While it is true they allow pets, their pet charge is over the top. I paid half as much for the pet fee per night as I did the nightly rate. Yes, half. If I hadn't already booked the room in advance, I would have told them that was ridiculous and walked out.
- 5/5
Great stay. Friendly staff
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
Property was nice & quiet. Staff was very friendly. I thought our room could have been nicer. But I would definitely stay here again & I highly recommend it.
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
I liked that the property was located within walking distance to my partners Dr appointment. This was the worst Hilton I've stayed in, however. The rooms stunk, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the shower rod was bent so the curtain just hung in the middle of it. Water soaked the floor because if this. And I've also never been charged for continental before, that was surprising, especially from a Hilton.
- 4/5
Staff we helpful, I wasn't too fond of having to pay even more on top of my reservation if I wanted breakfast, or snacks that were in the room or in the lobby.
- 5/5
Pretty good location and it is only a few minutes away from dining options and the highway.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 3/5
Sink stopper stuck and not draining, toilet won't stop draining, pool under maintenence, key fob thing didn't work, had to have escort to room each time, wierd windy way to get to hotel.
- 2/5
Just dingy and gross. Poor lighting. Send old and worn out
- 4/5
It was a pretty loud building. You could hear TV’s and conversations in our room and the hallway.
- 1/5
I was so disappointed with this property. When a hotel lists amenities, you expect those amenities. Someone must have not paid the cable bill because there was no TV. Not even local channels. The pool was there, but there wasn’t a drop of water in it. And the worst thing, our room smelled like a soccer cleat. I made the mistake of booking through a third party (Expedia) so the receptionist couldn’t do anything for me but offer me Hilton points. Also, know that Hilton hotels sell your info to marketing companies for profit. So I will no longer stay at any of the properties!
- 3/5
There was no TV services.
- 4/5
It was ok. Kinda worn and they charged for using water bottles in room.... missing basic hotel amenities but was last minute trip so it served it's purpose
- 5/5
Overall one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. Hotel was also very clean!
- 5/5
Whenever I go to Renton to visit family, this is where I stay. It’s my home away from home. I tried two other places but came back to the Hilton Gardens. Everything I need is right there.
- 3/5
Feels more like a motel 6, but only slightly nicer. The heater was really loud. The carpet looked like it needed to be replaced a few years ago. Otherwise, clean room and a fairly large room.
- 5/5
1 night 6 Hr's Good sleep.
- 2/5
The room was cold and had trouble with the thermostat. The TV didn’t work but I could do without it. Unfortunately when I got up to take a shower there was no hot water. Ended up getting moved to another room around 6:00 AM that was smaller than my other room and the thermostat didn’t work at all. This place is broken down and needs repairs badly.
- 3/5
Not so good this property needs to be updated . The carpet in my room was worn out and had stains on it. Did look or feel clean. Not what I was expecting from a Hilton property?
- 5/5
A little updated but clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
Hospitality was good
- 5/5
Great spot!
- 5/5
I loved the atmosphere of this hotel.
- 5/5
Everything was good, except for the loud noise from upstairs
- 5/5
Good solid choice
- 5/5
Easy to check in, the staff is is nice and the place is clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
I don't like it, not clean
- 4/5
Everything was good
- 2/5
There was a terrible smell on the third floor and our bathroom smelled dirty. Luckily our room didn’t smell which is why we didn’t complain to staff.
- 4/5
Looks old inside but rooms are clean. Pillows and bed are very comfortable.
- 5/5
The room was clean and fresh. There were nicks in the wall close to the window. It looked as though something kept hitting it. Everything else was wonderful. The breakfast is either by menu or the buffet. Both are delicious.
- 4/5
Everything is far from this hotel -
- 1/5
The room was disgusting and not cleaned. We asked for another room and that room was in the same state. We chose not to stay the night, since nobody was willing to accommodate us at 2 am from our late night flights. Very unprofessional, and employee stated that the cleaners don't do their job correctly. We are still fighting for a refund. Zero stars!
- 2/5
Tub took a whole day to drain after taking shower. Heat/Air did not work. Clean linens were not provided (or is that a green thing you're doing?) We expressed our concerns about all the above issues and were told they would be corrected. They were not. As Diamond Members we've always enjoyed Hilton properties. I hope this is a lone exception.
- 1/5
The hotel itself was in a pleasant area. Staff show no concern for the guests. However the room I’ve booked was not clean. Someone had just slept in the bed. Thrash was in the thrash bin. Who knows what else was not cleaned. Asked to speak with a manager and was told I had to wake for next morning. Which I did not bother to wasted any of my time if staffing treatment was like that.
- 4/5
great area and hotel
- 4/5
Only complaint is we could smell someone smoking.
- 1/5
The staff was nice. Room was not cleaned properly. Very outdated. Bed was full of dirt and stained. Room smelled of B.O. when you walked in. Shower was not cleaned. Had dirt at the bottom of shower. There were no extra blankets so I had to ask for an extra one which came almost an hour later. Breakfast is extra and so is WiFi which is a bummer for the people price of rooms.
- 3/5
I had requested a room with a walk in shower; when we arrived the room had a tub. The girl at the front desk did find us a room with a walk in shower but it was a hassle. We were then informed that breakfast was available to purchase; most places that we stay have breakfast included in the price of the room. The pool was closed for some reason. For the cost of the room I was underwhelmed. I expected more from a Hilton.
- 4/5
The hotel has a nice lobby and garden area to sit and relax. The room was just right for size, cleanliness, and A/C with a very comfy king size bed! The hotel is showing some of its age in the hallways, (carpet, paint, etc), but the room is more important and glad to see they feel the same by keeping the rooms up to par for guests. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
Rooms were not very clean. Hair noticeably everywhere. Staff were friendly, however didn’t like getting multiple texts asking if I needed things.
- 4/5
Carpet upgrades needed badly.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Clean, quite, everything worked in the room.
- 1/5
Dirty, bugs in room, wallpaper peeling
- 3/5
Wow! What a rare Hilton disappointment. Conrad and Paris would NOT want to claim this property. This is the first Hilton property we stayed that seemed "dirty". This includes mold stains under the sink and spider webs in the corner.
- 5/5
I stayed here for a family event. The location was great, right off the freeway and close to everything I needed. The customer service was wonderful! The only downside is it is a bit dated. It is clean and well kept though! My bed was a little hard for my liking but that's more of a preference.
- 5/5
I love this hotel however i wish it had a pool and jacuzzi
- 5/5
Easy check in and room was very clean
- 2/5
I hardly slept…felt like there was a bounce house party in the room above me. I called the front desk to complain and the noise continued on for at least another half hour.
- 4/5
The room was clean, quiet and temperature controlled well. Housekeeping failed to stock the bathroom toilet paper and tissue. That was ok, except I had to go downstairs to the front desk because the clerk could not leave her post to bring me replacements.
- 4/5
This was a good stop for a long layover at the Seattle airport! We booked day of, and this was the cheapest airport near the hotel at about $300. Only about a 10 minute Uber to the airport. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy! Wish we'd left later to take advantage of the free breakfast!
- 5/5
Everything was great only complaint is this is the only hotel I’ve ever had to pay for the continental breakfast. We are already paying a deposit and parking.
- 3/5
The three days we were there we didn’t receive room service. One day we had the sign up the other times I went to the front desk. I was told they do not have daily room service and that it’s every other day if they aren’t too busy. Even asked for another pillow and they didn’t have any.
- 5/5
the place looked great the people were nice and the location was easy to find and central to things around it.
- 5/5
Attractive site. Set back from highway enough to be quiet. The breakfast was nice.
- 5/5
What a great place did a weekend getaway for my partners birthday, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. We had a long suite and was exceptionally nice. Shower was great, bathroom was excellent room was clean. Loved it. We'll definitely be back
