I HIGHLY recommend this property when visiting Rockford. The housekeeping woman was incredibly sweet and kind and Timothy at the front desk was eager to please, professional and polite. Our room was cleaned perfectly and if I needed anything all I had to do was ask and she was happy to help. I didn’t try the breakfast so I can’t say how that was but my mom did and she loved it. It’s right across the street from the Hard Rock and super close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Incredibly easy to find as well, it’s literally just off the freeway. We go to Rockford often and will be staying here for now on. While it’s not glamorous like the Hilton, they take cleanliness very seriously and that’s what’s important to me.

Breakfast was the only amenity I thought about using but I ended up only eating a banana. Other offerings were yogurt which contained lots of sugar, toast, cold premade egg “pancake”, oatmeal and the standard waffles. As a diabetic I avoid sugar and carbs, and the egg didn’t look inviting even with a microwave to heat them,

The hotel was clean and in a good area, the only thing that was wrong with the hotel is their room service. I called to put In a food order and I was put on hold for a very long time, I can tired of waiting, so I just hung up and drove to get something to eat, other than everything else was excellent.

Newer wood floors in rooms. Overall pretty clean and functional. Staff was friendly and attentive.

There are many restaurants in the area and shopping too. The best thing for me in a hotel is to not even hear or know that other guests are in the building and I did not hear a thing:). Peaceful stay.

Very nice staff, good for what I paid for. Free breakfast was nice! Only complaint is the bathroom/sink. The towels looked like they were used when I came in, and the shower/shower head was pretty dirty. Otherwise it was super good.

The first room that we checked in had a bad water leak in the bathroom area. reported to the staff and requested a different room.

We had to go to the gas station to get a bottle of water to take meds. None on site and machine was broken. Couldn’t change the room temperature so we finally just opened the window.

We were on a family trip and needed something close to the highway. This was cheaper and fit that bill. It could have been cleaner in the bathroom but wasn’t the worst I’ve seen. I was disappointed because breakfast doesn’t start until 7am on Saturday and Sunday and we were hoping for that before our early departure. Unfortunately 6am was our planned leave time and we couldn’t utilize the free breakfast.

This is my first negative response. The bed was old and the springs made noise weather you sat on the bed or laid down or turned over it made loud sqeeking noises. I had hoped to get a quick, Christmas morning brwakfast, but there was only a few pieces of bread, old cereal and yogurt available. Along with very thick oatmeal. over.

So my husband asked for another room Our 2nd room was nicer and cleaner.. But had the same lumpy pillows and hard bed plus it was right by the entrance door and super loud! We ended up ending our trip 1 day early just to get out of there!

Property is close to the casino, but has not been renovated in years. An affordable option, but in need of attention.

When you're booked at a place to go to rest, the guests should be advised that there's going to be roofers roofing all day. Extremely noisy. They were throwing debris off the roof, as we walked outside.They also shouldn't advertise breakfast, when there's zero protein.

Don’t ever come here unless you wanna go to a cheap $25 room the room was nasty. The room had cracks in the walls cracks in the floors. It was really dirty. The staff was mean they didn’t wanna do anything for me. The room was nasty. It was like a cheap motel room And I want my money back.

If anyone sees this, please refund me. This hotel was horrible. It was dark, it smelled and wasn’t somewhere we needed to be. We checked in, then left after being there 30 minutes

For the size of the room, it was pretty pricy and it a weekly motel so they had people that stay and they smoked in rooms.

Dirty towel left in bathroom. Shower faucet fell off while I was showering. Coffee ran out and was not refilled before I left.

The Staff were the best part of the stay, friendly and communicative. The Room was clean, but very well worn the plumbing was in horrible shape the shower/tub dripped constantly and the drain was eaten away from it. the toilet seat was loose, and the toilet had no stop handle, and was in very worn shape also. the tv remote had no batteiries

I just wanted a cheap place to stay overnite. The price was good. The breakfast wasn't big, but was filling. The bathroom was small. I was surprised the 2-story hotel didn't have elevators!

The cost of the hotel did not match the quality. The hotel is outdated, the rooms are very small, and the bathroom was not clean. I have stayed in much more acceptable hotels for the same price. The displayed photos of the room did not match the reality of the room.

When we got back to our room at 11pm the air conditioning was barely working. At 4am it was just pushing hot air from outside. I went to the front desk and was told that they would look in to it.

When I went to check in the desk clerk was on the phone and there were 4 people waiting in line to check in. Seemed like it took 20 minuets to get to be helped. Could have had more than one person working the desk. The HVAC was very complicated! Turn this switch here switch this switch here don't use the wall thermostat. When it came on and made us so cold we were shivering and when it shut off and had us so hot we were sweating. When it was in operation, even on the lowest fan setting it sounded like plane, and we were about to take off. I did not get much sleep because of this. The free breakfast the next morning was lacking! The main attraction was a simmering pot of Oatmeal, and one busy Waffle maker. No other protein was offered. Fruit was offered depending on your arrival time as the desk clerk was also the breakfast attendant. Oh, they did have yogurt, self-service toast, cereal with milk being dispensed out of a thermos, apple and orange juice. Other than that, very average place nothing out standing to mention and nothing to give it a plus about. It is a place just trying to make a living nothing fancy, but because it is right across the street from the casino getting a higher than what an average place like this should.

There is no laundry room , the staff stayed the dryer doesn’t work . The coffee had stuff floating in the bottom . Smells like there is bad pluming . First floor smells like a wet dog and the oat meal in the morning looks like it was made last night . Says no cancellation fee but they charge you and Thomas is rude . Do not waste your money on this app .

Clogged nasty toilet upon arrival and things didn’t get better

The breakfast is good , the building is quiet . This hotel is right next door to an amazing casino . The best part is they are pet friendly and the staff is amazing !

The front desk person was delightfully to talk to. The exterior grounds were clean. The rooms were clean. The only complaint was the hallways on the 1st floor smelled like weed.

The cleaning individual that attended our room for the entire stay was outstanding and very friendly.

Old. Terrible smell. Archaic heat/cooling. Old toilet/ shower which made it seem not clean. Tissue stuffed in the peep hole, dead spider smooshed on the wall. Cheap but kind of sketchy

The SMELL in the hallway. Someone was cooking ethnic food in their room. It was unbearable to be in the hallway. Lots of shady men in the hall late at night, probably from the casino. Dirty pillow case, bed was hard as a rock. Air conditioning in our room didn’t work so it was hot. Bathroom was so small and dated.

The bed had a sheet and a very lightweight decorative blanket on it with no comforter which would not have been a big issue except that the ac/heat only seemed to work as off or on. Setting the temp did not seem to do anything. The hall was noisy and had people hanging out in the stairwells pretty regularly. The front desk clerk that checked us in was very freindly and profesional. Obviously she was the highlight of our 2 night stay.

The entire hotel smelled like weed and incense. The ice machine looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or serviced in a long time with rusty stains and hard water spots. I’d hate to imagine what was inside it.

The room was dirty, noisy, the tub upstairs was leaking into my room so they moved me the next day to a room next to the side door and everytime the door closed it banged and shook my bed! Oh and the breakfast was a joke! I went to another hotel the last three days of my vacation.

Beds are cozy , the shower is hot and the quick breakfast makes it an amazing stay !

The property is very old and dated, they have made some updates to flooring, heating & cooling systems, and desk and chairs. They've also updated the outlets for electronics. It is directly across the street from a casino. So very convenient for people looking to be close. The walls are paper thin so it got quite loud a few times. All in all a nice stay for the price.

The hallway smelled very bad. Thankful the room didn't smell like that, or we would not have stayed. The shower was awful - water was hot, then cold, then hot, etc. Also the nozzle left a lot to be desired. The bed was the saving grace for this place, as it was very comfortable.

Property is pretty run-down, no elevators, mini-fridge but no microwave in room, overall cleanliness is somewhat below average. Bed linens & floor appeared clean, no bugs or mold noted. Customer service from front desk to housekeeping was outstanding! It was much appreciated & made the overall experience much better. Would not stay there again but I would hire the staff for our company.

We rented the jacuzzi suite. When we went to just take a shower there was no hot water. Jacuzzi... sorry, I'm not an athletle anymore, I'm not sitting in an ICE BATH Jacuzzzi

The people at the desk were nice. The room was clean. We stayed 1 night because of weather conditions at home. I was awakened several times with people coming in & out talking extremely loud and the smell was bad. I realize there is not places to store thing's when you do construction but halfway blocking a door was a trip & fire hazard.

Rooms are clean , warm and the hotel is very quiet making it super easy to work and rest . Staff was polite and breakfast was amazing .

This was your typical low end motel. Security doors often don’t work. Musty smell. Shotty plumbing, and constant weed smell, yet “fines if there is an odor”. What I witnessed here the 3 1/2 weeks I stayed here was pitiful. I don’t understand why these places stay open

This Days Inn was OK; relatively clean and comfortable. I only spent a couple waking hours watching TV and was on my way early the next morning. It met expectations for the price point I paid. I would definitely stay somewhere nicer for a more extended stay, but would have to pay significantly more for it.

The room was acceptable, but it would have been great if they ran a vacuum in the hallways and stairwells at some point. Very dirty. The ONE icemaker did not work for the majority of my 4 nights. The hot water was inconsistent at best and was scalding hot at random times. OK for my solo visit but I would never have my wife and kids stay here.

Always contented when stay at this hotel

The outside area was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the toilet had some residue on it. It’s important to lift the seat and clean underneath, as men sometimes miss this spot. Additionally, there was visible black hair in the tub, not just one strand but multiple.

This place had a horrible smell, the floor was sticky in the room, lighting was poor in the halls and the bulldog latch didnt work correctly. I would have left immediately but it was a non-refundable booking.

It was awesomely quiet, but not walkable. Also, didn't care for waiting to check out while she was watering her plants - I was second in line waiting.

We walked down the hall and it smelled like pot and urine.

There were flies and mosquitoes in the room, along with cigarette ashes, and numerous stains on the sheets as well.

The property is poorly maintained. The chair at the desk had both arms severely ripped. The drain in bathtub was broken and laying out in the tub. Same for the sink.

Hotel needs some major upgrades. First floor has a "wheelchair ramp" down a set of stairs that no one in a wheelchair could maneuver up or down by themselves and didn't seem wide enough to even fit a regular wheelchair let alone for someone with special needs. Room was so so. Bathroom needs updated as well as the original hallway carpet and walls. Front desk lady was super nice though! Some questionable people in the parking lot. Definitely not somewhere I would've stayed by myself. Honestly after I saw the outside alone If I hadn't already paid for the room I would've left and went elsewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if Hard rock casino eventually bouys this eye sore out so they can tear it down.

The showers in 2 different rooms were "unstable" on the temp. One minute the temp is right, then goes instantly hot and then cold and them maybe back to being right again and then starts over. Needless to say, very quick shower to avoid being burnt or "tazed" with cold water. Overall stay was good. The bed and pillows were comfy. No pool, which somehow I overlooked when booking. We did not eat breakfast there, so really cannot speak to that. Definitely continental style though. Staff was great!

Overall a good stay if you just need a place to crash. Friendly people. There was a loud beep, 3 beeps every 10 seconds. Wasnt silenced until about midnight. Was very loud from my room.

The hallways were very smelly and there was about a 1/2”-1” gap under each door. Staff was pleasant though.

Only thing I would complain about would be that the shades weren’t long enough so a lot of light came into the room in the morning.

The room was quiet. Nothing else was OK. It was nice to have a pull down seat in the shower, but the hand-held shower couldn’t reach it. And this was supposed to be a handicap room (which we did not. Ok, intentionally, but nothing in that bathroom would have worked for a wheelchair. Toilet was too low. Sink too high. There was no one at the desk before 8AM. Breakfast should have started at 7. No one was there to check out. And when breakfast finally arrived it had no pastries, nothing but slices of bread that looked dried out. No fruit, no yogurt, and the coffee was gone. Less than one star stay. And we have a $10 charge on our credit card that we have no idea why!

I went to use the ironing board and some H kneedles fell out but the miss at the front was very efficient and friendly about the situation. I feel she made the best choice she could and I thank you for caring of our safety and taking the iron board AND trash that I threw them in! I mean I didn’t get a bag for that trash but my wife, dog and I are all safe and the staff worked fast and efficiently with clean up
