This hotel was great for me and my partner… staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The ambiance was very cool and chill… the Resturant had very good options and bar were very nice… love the bar stools!

I booked this hotel for a stay-cation for my husband and I. The staff was great and the property is nice. We checked-in about 3 hours after the check-in time and our room was not cleaned properly. There was debris under the ice bucket, coffee grinds left on the disposal lids, and an open disposal coffee cup was left with the unopened coffee cup. I also discovered a clump of black hair left in the shower as well, which prompted the desire to request a new room. Unfortunately, they were completely booked. The front desk attendant apologized and sent housekeeping to clean the shower and comped our parking. Needless to say, I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The bed was comfortable and the room overall was nice.

Be aware! They can charge your credit card for any tip they want! It was our second time at Hyatt Centric. We stayed there some time ago before our flight for our honeymoon, and now, while celebrating my husband’s birthday, we decided to stay there again. Big mistake! The staff was rude, but that was not the worst thing. When we received the final bill, the staff had charged a $50 tip to my credit card. When we asked the lady to explain this charge, she gave us different explanations of what it was for. Basically, we realized that they had decided to charge themselves an additional tip, and because we were asking too many questions, the lady at the reception got irritated with us and rudely handed us an updated bill with a $50 refund. She didn’t say goodbye or anything. She just said, “Fine, don’t worry about it,” in a very irritated tone. Mind you, we were very respectful and were just trying to understand what these additional charges were for. Anyway, we will never stay at this place again and will never stay at any Hyatt hotels. We felt like they were trying to defraud us. So now we are waiting for the refund. Hopefully, we will get it! There are a lot of hotels in the area. Choose a different one.

The A/C didn’t feel cold enough, kept waking up sweating, the blankets were good but mattress was uncomfortable.

Check in and checkout went very smooth. Loved the room ambiance and lighting. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable.

If someone wanted to, they could've hopped the tiny bars in between (waist/chest high). It was also one of the pricier hotels in the area, but like I said, it was a lot nicer than we anticipated.

This is my go 2 hotel. Staff is always helpful and friendly. The place is super clean and the food downstairs is good/convenient.

Had to switch hotel because it was closer to the event I was going to but this hotel was much nicer and I wish I could have stayed but that's life. It's a nice place you should stay here

The room was comfy and clean. Pillows were horrible. They went flat as soon as you laid down. The parking garage is way too small and it was a challenge to find a place to park. The staff lovely and kind.

Except for the motion sensor floor lights, which can’t be turned off, the place was a great stay.

Very nice hotel. We had a single king room and it was modern, clean and spacious. We stopped at the bar in the restaurant for a bit before leaving for a concert and the staff was great. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Will stay here again.

Great for shuttle to airport

This hotel was beautiful. Parking was easy and airport shuttle was easy. The staff members were wonderful. The restaurant food was amazing and they also have a cute little coffee shop while waiting for your morning departure. I would 100% recommend this hotel to others and stay here again.

They are very friendly and the rooms look very new & updated. Super clean! Bed was really comfortable & I have fibromyalgia so that says a lot! The restaurant food looked good on paper but they’re charging 5 star prices so I didn’t try anything there. $21 for avocado toast & $15 for oatmeal is pretty extreme! There are a lot of really good places to eat around the hotel. Stan’s donuts is Mmmm chef’s kiss! Parking at the hotel was a bit of a sticker shock at $30 a night! Wow! Other than that… the planes going over all day & night is a bit of a nuisance. Make sure you play some white noise or something through the Bluetooth!

The bathroom in our room had a messed up toilet that kept flooding the toilet water to the top after flushing on the very first use then we called front desk to send someone to fix. Right before heading to bed, again doesn’t work. Definitely don’t recommend places that have these issues. It’s a weekend stay to not deal with problems and this was one that shouldn’t have to be mine, but should for hotel maintenance.

Hotel was great, but they didn’t give any information on caching the shuttle bus from the airport. I was waiting at the hotel shuttle area, but the shuttle just went straight past me. It was so incredibly cold, I couldn’t wait outside any longer, so had to get Expedia to contact the hotel and get the bus to come again. I had tried to contact the hotel multiple times but no answer. I was sooo tired after 16 hours of travel, it was horrible. Eventually the bus came back and I was advised to go to a different pick up place (2A). It would have been much better if the hotel could have just sent a message through Expedia at the time when I booked to say “If you would like to take the free shuttle bus from the Airport, please wait at exit 2A”.

We had difficulty finding the free breakfast and ended up going to Cima which was very good, but pricy. There was some construction outside the hotel behind the parking garage that didn’t look great. There was always a parking spot during our stay (Friday-Sunday), but they charged us per night per car for parking and gave us a temporary parking permit to hang on the rear view mirror. Plenty of dining and shopping close by, but not very walkable except for Carlucci’s. There looked like a forest preserve nearby, but we didn’t have time to check it out.

The rooms were super clean and the staffing were super nice at the front desk were really helpful parking was great as well you didn’t have to pay for it which was nice .

Seems more like a high end hotel so if you don't look like you come from money you kind of get looked down on by staff. Made me feel very uncomfortable walking in & out of the hotel. Other than that, it was a great weekend stay!

I had a great stay at this hotel, the facility was in great shape and very nice details, great staff very friendly and attentive. The area is a bit limiting for food options but it ain't so far either. The transport to and from the airport is very convenient. A very pleasant stay.

Excellent accommodations and very clean! HOWEVER… While there is a restaurant and bar, they did not offer room service. There wasn’t any complimentary coffee. This was disappointing to me only because I arrived late in the evening due to missing a connecting flight and had to leave very early in the morning. Those options would have been very nice to have.

Made a reservation accidentally tried to cancel five minutes later and was refused a refund.

Nothing to rave over. you get what you pay for it’s convenient for what it is.

Enjoyed my stay form the moment I walked in and was greeted by Jamie. She was very helpful. Hotel was clean an no issues. Stopped at bar around 10pm for a few drink , bartender was great can't remember his name but he was pouring good drinks, Was it Ryan? anyway I will definitely recommend this hotel. Bonus its across from RIVERS CASINO!!!!!

This was such an incredible Hotel. Our flights got canceled out of Chicago and I was lucky to find one room available here at the Hyatt super clean. The staff was beyond amazing. Jamie checked us in at the hotel and we loved the restaurant. The food was incredible and Bruna at the coffee shop was the sweetest employee and makes my coffee delicious! I will definitely recommend this hotel! 10/10 customer service and let’s talk about the bed and comforter best nights sleep I’ve ever had. The bed was so comfortable

I got a $250.00 parking ticket for parking in the hotel's parking garage. Ive stayed there several times, and have always parked in the handicapped parking, with my permit in view, and have never received a ticket. The two employees i talked to told me they don't know anything about it, and to call the police. I will never stay there again.

Had an 8 hour layover in Chicago and needed a place to stay and relax and this was the perfect location! Shuttle is offered for pick up and drop off and the place was so clean and new! Staff was very helpful with information

Hotel was very nice!

Anthony checked us in. He was terrific. Never have I been checked in so quickly. Seems check in at every hotel takes a long time, but not this time. Our flight was canceled and this hotel came through. We asked about a local store to get a toothbrush and Anthony took the time to get us one from the hotel, even though he had a huge line of others waiting whose flights were canceled.

We have been staying at this hotel since it was the Hyatt Rosemont! I have to say the new renovations are awesome! From the staff, the cleanliness, and the convenience.....everything was wonderful!

Check in was quick and the room was very comfortable. The shuttle from the airport did not come at the advertised hour but the shuttle to the airport was timely. The food at the restaurant was not to my liking.

We were stuck overnight in Chicago. We had been traveling for almost 24 hours from London then DC then Chicago. We had no luggage, no toiletries, nothing. The staff whelped us out the best they could and were very kind. We finally made it to our final destination the next day. We are very thankful for the Hyatt staff!

There was a strange lack of plastic cups and an ironing board in the room. Otherwise, it was fine.

Convenient to the airport with a reliable shuttle schedule. Lobby conveniently arranged with decent dining options. Two bits of feedback - 1) The toilet in my room had a stuck valve and took a long time to shut off. 2) No resources about WiFi or room service in the room. It may have been in a QR menu or in the TV somehow, but I couldn’t figure it out.

I loved the food options, the prices were a little questionable but the taste made up for it. I loved how neat, clean, and big even the room for 1 person was. I had to put the bath mat back in the tub but it was a good experience. The only thing I would tweak would be telling where to order from the indoor restaurant. I had to ask because I wasn't too sure.
