Easy to find and good location Being targeted of dog barking when it was not even my dog it was a dog above my room. Also not having coffee pots in room and only offering coffee in lounge only from 6am- 11am , it should be offered throughout out the day. Also pool was not clean and some staff did not know english to understand what was needed.

There was nothing good about this place. The whole property needs a makeover. It’s best not to look at anything or else you will be grossed out and/or find problems with everything. Everything.

All of the staff were wonderful! Polite, friendly, capable and very helpful. The area was safe even after dark and I was very comfortable in the parking lot. I will definitely stay there again.

Good hotel for the price.

Not worth the price at all! It was somewhere to lay my head just way to overpriced!

For a low priced hotel, it was much better than I’d expected.

Well, one of the water handles in the bathroom fell off when I went to use it, and there was about half an inch gap under the door and an eighth of an inch gap around the side and top. The staff was Greatl Property was clean

- 1/5
Room smell bad, tv doesn’t work, a lot noise from laundry all night.
- 1/5
The bedding was disgusting there was blood on the blanket and pillow
- 1/5
Dirty, light switches didn’t work, TV didn’t work, bums living outside the window, beds were broke down and the temperature in the room never got warm.
- 3/5
Older lady that was finishing shift during check-in was so rude. I could not possibly believe it. Luckily the young man that finally checked us in when he started, his shift was polite.
- 3/5
There was so much door slamming and loud talking I got no sleep 😴
- 3/5
Too much activity even after 10pm. Noisy kids, traffic in and out all night in adjoining room. No one in office, door locked, nobody answered late night check-in and it was only 4 pm. Should have left note in window. Noisy trains next to property. At least 4 trains passed after 10 until 6 am.
- 4/5
Customer service excellent. Room very clean. A little noisy due to traffic. Heater worked. Bed comfortable. Bathroom a little shabby. But no security latch on door.
- 2/5
Room was freezing, the heater was off which is not good in the middle of winter. Huge cracks all the way around the door, so big we put towels in the tracks trying to keep the cold out. Heard everything in each room, on both sides and on below.
- 2/5
Parking was good. Staff was ok, out of the 3 rooms they was clean except the last room had allot of mold in the windows and the bathroom shower walk was rotted. We had to be moved to 3 different rooms. The first one the key didn't work, the 2nd room the heat wasn't hot so the 3rd room the front door had a gap under it so it took over 2hrs to heat the room. Then up stairs room the couple started yelling then an hour later someone was blasting music ager 1am. I'm so tired couldn't 😴
- 4/5
Locked myself out of the room a few times, front desk was more than helpful in getting me a new key. Room was nice, other than the humidity when you took a shower. Bonus points for pets stay free.
- 4/5
Bed was very comfortable, room clean and friendly staff
- 1/5
Noisy. Cold, because there’s a huge gap under the door to the room. Shower/tub badly in need of maintenance and cleaning, mold on high ledges, the rest was falling apart. Sheets were itchy. Coffee in the lobby was cold in the AM. Next door to a Goodwill warehouse so there were bins getting slammed at 6am.
- 5/5
Clean room quiet
- 4/5
All was well. Except I could not figure out how to make tv work
- 4/5
Everything the hotel was good, outside environment was loud.
- 2/5
Welcomed pets staff was nice but the place is gross
- 2/5
The room was not clean like it should have been. Hair in bathtub, the walls need repairs, the bed spread kept poking my feet from a hole

The room are very clean and tidy. The office staff are friendly and helpful.

- 3/5
Actually not a bad motel 6... Bed pillows and mattress not very comfortable. Wished they'd had a bathtub.
- 4/5
Lousy bed pillows
- 1/5
The pool was closed. We got a refund.
- 3/5
The first night was horrible I didn’t like the main manager she was rude but what I didn’t like is that they had too clean the room everyday regardless of what the customer wanted or u would be kicked out it’s horrible
- 4/5
Check-in was simple, the room was clean, and it met our needs for the night. I did not pay for a high-end hotel. I got what I paid for. Coffee was ready in the office in the morning. Everything in the room worked; paint, flooring, and bedding were in serviceable condition. .
- 4/5
Beggars can’t be choosers and when you wait until Labor Day weekend like I did, then definitely can’t complain. You definitely get what you pay for. After tips I think I paid around 160 for Saturday to Sunday. I have definitely stayed at way worse for way more. This place also saved money and time because it was like a 10 to 15 minute walk to the fair groups. I would consider staying again
- 4/5
Clean room, comfortable bed. Good customer service at check-in. Only drawback is the train running behind the building all night, but otherwise a good experience.
- 5/5
A basic No Frills hotel, clean quiet
- 1/5
I understand this is an cheap hotel but I did not expect the cockroaches, ants everywhere, moldy pool that was not disclosed or the prostitute openly conducting business at all hours. Disgusting.
- 3/5
We could hear the party going on 1/2 the night. lot of in and out noise as well
- 4/5
Pretty large room but no coffee maker , loud train running behind the building day and night, and some questionable stains on the bedspread, and a few shady characters roaming the parking lot. But cheap.price
- 1/5
Made a reservation for a 2 night stay about a month in advance. Arrived at the property around 10:30pm and was told that there were no rooms available and reservations were only held if they were already paid for. I pulled up my receipt showing that I had already paid, but it turned out that didn’t make a difference, they still hadn’t saved a room for me. The desk employee said reservations aren’t guaranteed (what?) and if you don’t arrive early enough they just cancel the reservation. This whole discussion was happening while he was renting a room to a walk in couple at the desk. I understand desk staff are just employees following company policy but I was pretty unhappy with the experience. Pickings were slim for hotels and trying to find a room for my family last minute was not ideal. I definitely won’t be booking a room again now knowing that reservations don’t actually mean anything.
- 4/5
Clean room, shower itself was in poor condition with exposed areas. Close to the main road but not as loud as one would expect. It was a good hotel for the price and a place to sleep.
- 3/5
It is also the only Motel 6 I have ever been at that has restrictions on cats. They did honor my initial reservation as it was already paid for, but I couldn't extend my stay. I found this weird as the National Motel 6 has advertised for years that all pets stay free.
- 1/5
There were obvious drug use marks on the TV stand and
- 3/5
Worst aspect was bugs, appeared to be young cockroaches that didn't like the light but we had pictures of them from both bathroom and bedroom areas that we showed when we checked out but little concern was given, led us to sleep with lights on which was not as restful. Loved design of the room including bathroom. Reservation was for 4 people but only 3 towels even after it was cleaned during second day (took away extra towels we got by request). Also wish i knew pool was going to be closed the whole time as we looked forward to it. Did appreciate it was close to expo center.
- 1/5
Pool closed and yelling from other guests was very disturbing for my kids and myself.
- 1/5
I was given a ground level room at the end of the facility. A large paper clip turned the deadbolt, and the bathroom window wouldn’t close or lock - bad part of town. They refused to give me another room so I left.
- 2/5
Motel is right near train tracks and there were multiple trains throughout the night waking us up. Shower is very small and black mold around the window.

The only downside was that the pool was closed, even though the website said it was open. If something is advertised as part of the stay, it should be available. Still, it was a good experience and I’d stay here again.

It could have used a stuff cloth chair or a small table with two chairs. We did not stay the whole evening. My husband was already upset with the night des k person because there was NO HOT WATER and when he wanted to know about when it'll get fixed and night desk shrugged his shoulders At 930pm, little Mexico took over the joint with loud meroach imusic. Especially above us. My husband was DONE. He went to check out and met with the same indifference as with the water. The day manager/ front desk woman was great
- 4/5
From this Hotel , it’s fine for 1 or 2 night . Clean and cheap
- 3/5
Didn’t like the trains so close tv didn’t work,
- 4/5
It was disappointing that the pool was closed. The key card door lock needs work. Very friendly people at the check in/out counter. Everything was clean.
- 1/5
Was very displeased and asked for a full refund.
- 5/5
Clean and affordable
- 2/5
Train tracks right out the back of the motel, bad neighborhood, homeless camps out back by traintrack, bathroom window didn't shut, dirty walls, paint missing on bathroom wall.
- 1/5
Booked 2 rooms a month in advance and sadly show up to them being overbooked and switching our rooms around. Rooms also smelt very bad.
- 4/5
There is nothing fancy about this place but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Don't need much more than that.
- 4/5
Good for one night
- 4/5
Room was fantastic. Walls were paper thin, but I didn’t hear a thing after the lights went out
- 3/5
Probably the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Lots of bizarre activity. The room was clean, but smelled like mildew. The first room they tried to give me had a broken door that was super hard to open
- 1/5
We traveled through for a dog show, location was convenient but didn’t feel comfortable with many of the other people staying as there was fighting at night, car alarms going off and doors banging. Trains going by. Unfortunately I won’t stay here again next year.
- 2/5
The gal at the front desk was very pleasant. However the room was old. Burn holes in the window curtains a big chip out of the hardwood floor. Couldn’t get the tv to work. I was in town for just a night and it was just me. There are train tracks right behind the motel. Couldn’t sleep most the night with freight trains going by I will never stay at a motel 6 again.
- 1/5
if you are looking for a good night sleep this is NOT the place to go to. There was so much noise out side our room doors slaming loud cars no muffler then at about 12:30 am it was finally quiet then on the the hour every hour ther was a train that was going all night we finally left our room at 5:00 am and just left got no sleeo at all
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and the room was clean for the condition it was in. The windows needed some work. Outside of that, there was nothing the staff could do about the other issues (train track behind the hotel and guest slamming doors.
- 4/5
We stayed 1night. The staff were very friendly competent and helpful Traveling with our dog is easy when staying at a Motel 6. The room was clean but pretty worn.
- 3/5
It does not feel safe there anymore. They are letting anyone stay there that causes problems. It does not feel safe like it was before. It’s not as clean anymore.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Very comforting place to stay
- 5/5
Is a no frills hotel, well located for the Fairgrounds. Room was up to date and very clean. Located on busy street with good restaurants nearby. Felt safe.
- 4/5
My husband and I love that is closet to convenience places.
- 5/5
It was very clean and people very kindly
- 2/5
Upon arrival, room had several issues; microwave, refrigerator and TV not working, towel rack broke and room right next to railroad tracks with tons of trash and homeless people hanging out on property staff fixed issue inside room but i felt very uncomfortable and didnt sleep well at all. Not going to ever stay there again
- 1/5
Our room had mold and smelt awful. Didn’t feel safe staying there so we left.
- 4/5
We stay once a week here and the train sucks but over all motel 6 this is the better one in Salem
- 4/5

Check in time was at 3pm we got there at 3pm and got our keys and went to the room and and want even ready, looks like they just started on it so I went to the office and asked what was going on and she was like sorry that it's not ready or should be in like 45 mins. Then once we got in there the floor was dirty, and flooring was all messed up, both beds were sunken in, lopsided. There was black hair on our towels and there was ants in the bathroom. The room was very ran down.
- 2/5
Loud and cold
- 5/5
Check-in was quick and easy. Property is convenient to freeway and several places to eat.
- 5/5
Good stay, some road noise
- 1/5
F ront desk clerk was super friendly and had my room reasy for check jn right when i arrived. I was put in a room thay wasbjn between people that were yellimg, banging all night. Also had there tv on full blast all night. I got zero sleep and had to work the next day. I was not a happy camper.
- 5/5
Hospitality and convenient. Affordable and last minute booking was made easy.
- 5/5
Pooja is awsone great place to stay!
- 3/5
Place is okay to stay
- 1/5
This was a horrible experience. The room was less than acceptable, almost left and checked in to another hotel. The door handle was upside down, the door had aboit a 1 inch gap under it, had to place a towel at the door to keep the cold air out and the noise waa terrible. There was a weird mini shower bath combo deal, made no sense. The best was so terrible we didnt sleep and woke hurting very badly. Overall just a terrible experience and super horrible room. We were booked for two nights, and we left the next morning and did not return. Had to pay for another night at another hotel!
- 1/5
The office staff were wonderful and helpful, but the rooms are in shambles. I changed rooms twice: My first room was leaking water from the ceiling in the bathroom and the ceiling was dropping drywall into the shower. My second room was also wet, and in several places the moldings were torn from the walls and laying on the floor. The third room was the one I stayed in. The floor was wet in the bathroom, a big puddle, not sure why. There was only one towel. The bed was SO uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin, and there were very loud conversations happening right outside my door until 3 am. Around 9:30 am, the housekeeping was loudly knocking on doors, and talking and laughing loudly outside (I'm glad they were having a good time, but check out isn't until 11 so it was not a welcomed wake-up call) Spend a few extra bucks and stay somewhere else.
- 3/5
Friendly check in - however, if you do not pay in advance they may give your room away if you don’t contact them - heads up
- 4/5
I really like how it is conveniently located
- 5/5
Reallyvappreciated the young man who checked me in. Very friendly and helpful. The cleaning ladies were awesome as well!!

I couldnt sleep at all during my stay. Overall my room was ok and bathroom all right.
- 5/5
Great hotel customer service is great!!!
- 5/5
Nice and clean.
- 4/5
The lovely person who checked us in was phenomenal. She went above and beyond, even though we arrived an hour before check in time
- 1/5
The room itself, wires were exposed and the floor was destroyed. The bathroom wall ventilator was off the wall and broken, an electric hazard. The bath was also infested with ants. They finally took "care" of it on our second to last day there. We were there for 13 nights. We attempted to compromise with them over and over again and kept switching what they were saying. Being wishy washy and unprofessional and just plain rude to us. They also made fun of me due to being transgender and didn't respect me at all even when I corrected. There were dog fights and people fighting that broke their policies and didn't bat an eye on. Yet we did, when we only brought our cats who are trained and registered Service Animals and only mentioned this to us on the 3rd day after we were there about cats not being allowed.
- 5/5
Ok
- 1/5
I am being stalked by traffickers, reported a guy sitting outside our room for 5 hrs, the manager states that the housekeepers said they didnt see him earlier, I have the time stamps so lie, snd prtended it was all fine. Its happend multiple times there as well as ine of their staff members are involved in 3rd party stalking. So as mich as we appreciate a room trying to stalk me and upset my dog yo make problems fir a traffic victim with a disability is pretty disgusting.

People next rooms yelling at each others with no stopping. Guests upstairs outside their room talking so loud with no consideration for others. I left the room after 6 hours of checking in.
- 4/5
They made it right and kept a room for me and checked me in at 1AM. Desk clerk was apologetic and cheerful
- 1/5
Pool was closed. No onsite laundry for guests. Very noisy with trains going by and beeping from forklifts next door. Housekeeping came in without knocking. This location does not strive to make you feel welcome. No toiletries. No coffee in the room, weak coffee in the lobby.
- 5/5
Its not The Ritz, but its clean. The bed was actually more comfortable than i expected. The property was clean as well. Gloria checked us in and was very kind , courteous and accomidating.

Not the greatest part of town. Cleaning came barging in an hour before checkout, luckily we had the safety lock on. Would be good to have “do not disturb “ signs to hang on the door.
- 4/5
Nice room. Appears to have been recently remodeled. No tissues or shampoo in room. Area is questionable. In the evening several people were yelling and swearing in the parking lot.
- 4/5
The people were nice. It was safe and the bed was comfortable.
