The rooms were nothing like the pictures on the internet. And there was no chair in the room, and staff refused to provide one.

Smelly, stained rooms. The hallways look very dirty and there is a lot of noise going on at night.

Bedbugs on my pillow. And showed picture to staff and requested a full refund . Employe Pillar told me to send her the pictures and she was going to showed them to manager. So i forward the pictures and still no refund.

Pulled in with half of Santa Ana police dept at the hotel, Room wasn’t very clean, sketchy parking lot with drug deals going down in plain sight and a crack pipe on the ground right outside the door. Staff was nice but def would not recommend. I travel for work about 180 days a year and stay in a lot of hotels but this by far was one to remember.

Dirty, old and run down. Door could have easily been kicked and opened. Front desk staff was bothered by questions when asked Everything - run down, old, smelled like stale food and mold felt unsafe and beds were uncomfortable. Showers had mold looking substance in the crevices

It has a very friendly pet policy so there's a lot of animal urine smell around.

The suite I stayed in this time was pretty nice considering, I mean it is “The Red Roof Inn” ain’t no 5 star Hotel. More like a brothel. Which I’m cool with. Over all I like the place I stay often. Room amenities are to be desired. They claim that every booking is for two adults if they give you the amenities of one for towels, wash, loss, hand towels. Floors are dirty carpet dirty it all needs to be redone. Seems like they’re doing that little bit at a time. Parking is OK not bad restaurant right next-door Polly pies convenient good food air conditioning been good in any room I stay in. Don’t take my review bad I’m just brutally honest. I have no filters but I do tell the truth so, what is it out of 10 stars five stars whatever it is I give them out to overall staff is good. They’re cool.

Most rooms are occupied with long term live-in occupants. Due to this the three rooms we reserved were worn, dirty, and damaged and not to mention located across the property, two buildings away. Comforter on bed was dirty and stained. When I asked for a replacement, housekeeping delivered a folded one "fresh" out of the wash. When I unfolded it, it was far worse than the first. Ended up not even using it and just leaving it in the corner. A security guard is present in the evenings and overnight. He literally places a metal folding chair in the middle of the parking lot and sits all night while the shady live-in tenants walk around the premises being loud and haning out in their cars all night. Safe to say, i'd rather stay in my car than book at this place again.

Air conditioner was off and room was very hot.

Clean room attentive staff AC!!! Parking and only downside was trouble with my keycard magnetic strip having to be reset each time it came into contact with my cellphone or airpods

Fast and easy

Rooms are clean, unfortunately the bottom floor by the office roaches however I was immediately moved to an upper room just the smell alone. You could tell it was a clean room very clean! The staff was extremely good. Extremely nice and attentive. Pool is clean Jacuzzi clean unfortunately no breakfast but overall a good place to stay environment is safe not a lot of riffraff. I will be staying there again on the top floor. Thank you to red roof for this day and loving to have pets too treated my dog Callie with the utmost respect Beds are super comfortable.

The hotel is well located. There is easy access to oublic transportation. Malls around. The room was cleaned everyday.

The staff was friendly at check-in and the room was beautifully setup. Unfortunately, we saw 2 roaches while we were there- one in the bathroom and one on the bed. We could not get a refund or discount on the room and could not be moved to a different room and location was at capacity for valentine's day. We've stayed at this location a few times and that's never happened before. Sad to say we won't be returning.

My stay was short and sweet. Staff was helpful and checking in and out was super easy. Hotel is in a nice area and has lots of parking. Accommodations are lovely.

The staff was helpful and prompt when we needed things. It is an older hotel but the staff seems to take good care of it and want to be friendly and attentive. There is restaurants within walking distance and things to do nearby. Near the south and north entrance to I-5 which made it a quick trip to Disneyland. There was a security guard that walked the property which made it feel safe. Worth the money.

Was ok. Basic room, TV good size. Mini Refrig was good. Shower pressure not great but adequate. Tub / shower really needs grab bars, even for non-handicapped. Parking and security very good.

La piscina no la limpian tenia hasta pupu de pájaro , y la habitación tenía insectos muertos cerca de la cama , poca limpiéza , no tenía jabón de lavar las manos , ni shampoo , la verdad fue muy desagradable . Me salí 2 días antes de alojamiento y 3 días después no me dan mi desposito.

I tried to call the hotel ahead of time to ask about the pool and spa- it turns out, whoever answers their phone isn’t on-site, so can’t answer that question. I kept my fingers crossed and got to the inn- the spa was closed. My 9 y.o. Son went into the pool and found poop inside of it. Absolutely disgusting. No apology from staff, just like they expected the poop to be inside of the pool. Also, stained sheets on the bed. Not clean at all. Wouldn’t recommend

This place is a dump. It’s decent for the price for a one or two night stay, but any more than that isn’t worth it. There seem to be some permanent residents there that make it feel unsafe overall. I liked the perk of a guest laundry, but the front desk didn’t have quarters, and the residents made the laundry room inaccessible and made me feel like my clothes would get stolen. I had a parking pass in my window and still got a 24 hour notice with a threat to tow on my windshield even though they also had my plate number. Front desk staff is compensate and rude. Not a fan of this hotel.

Generic hotel. I was a little surprised by the $100 deposit at check in. I was not able to connect to their WIFI at all which was very disappointing.

Property was dated, but was a great value for the area. Wish the water was hotter, but I was not disappointed in the stay.

We tought the the bed was in a separate room and it was not. The pull out couch bed was nothing but springs. Customer service was good and overall clean room.

After over 20 hours of driving we arrived to the hotel much earlier than check in time. The front desk lady allowed me to check in very early and have me the ground floor room I asked for. She was amazing! Will stay here again.

Staff was exceptional; however, other clientele were arguing and socializing in common areas all night long. Also, no hot water in the morning.

The front desk girl was busy watching TV or chatting with someone in the back room. I had to yell through the glass to get her to come help us after standing there for a while without any notice. They have no hairdryers in the room. You have to go to the front office and ask for one. The rooms were adequate, found a few hairs that were very noticeable so housekeeping is not on their game. Overall it was fine. No bugs, quiet and affordable.

Bed linen was disgusting to say the least! It had smeared feces & hair on the fitted sheets, both beds. As we peeled back sheets to spray Lysol, we found more hairs on mattress cover. We also found hairs inside pillow cases as we took them off. We wiped down toilet seat that also had yellow staining and hair. Light fixtures over beds were visibly covered with fingerprints and left black dirt on Lysol wipes we used to clean. I had no choice but to stay there due to a pending surgery the following morning. We asked for clean linen and were first given one set of stained linen and then given two sets of “clean” linen after I pointed out the 1st set was stained yellow. I couldn’t believe that I paid money to stay here but I was having surgery the following morning and just couldn’t stress myself anymore before the procedure. We also had to stay the next night because my surgery was over at night and I wanted to remain close by the hospital in case of complications.

Property was closer to Disney land, but their staffs are not friendly and smiling, also the bed caused itchiness in our bodies not sure if it’s clean or there are bugs in the bed.

The smell on the room was sucks and the lady came to early for room service. It was loud at night to sleep well. I didn’t not recommend

The room was not very clean. You can tel bevause there was dust built up on items placed near the sink. One wall had no power so the clock did not work so i had to rely on setting the time on the microwave. The comfortable also had a stain on it .I would not book again. I booked only bc i needed to be close to the train station.

The front desk lady was nice and helpful but omg this hotel is disgusting. Dirty, smells, loud and just sketchy and bad. Worst hotel I've ever entered. I checked in and got into my room and checked right out and got a refund because it was legit a health hazard I would rather lose out on my money than stay here but luckily they refunded me right away!

the staff were all excellent. our room was dirty, and the carpet smelled like animal pee. It was by the worst and most dirty room i have EVER stayed in. Really absolutley smelly and gross all over. We had roaches, a dead one poking out of the bathroom fan, just terrible state.

This place is a dump. It's in a sketchy area with sketchy patrons. Jacuzzi had no bubbles, just hot water. Security is a nice touch - since it's so necessary. Tried to get 2 extra towels - housekeeping literally walked into our room and took other 2 towels before giving us 2 towels. It was like camping on skid row.

Horrible. We had to leave. Total drug den. The rooms were filthy, stains everywhere, tape over peep hole, burn marks all over furniture from cigarettes. Room reeked of smoke even though it was "non smoking". there was little lines all over the counters from people cutting up drugs. the feeling in that room was absolutely eerie. I was with my 6 year old and i had no choice but to leave at midnight and drive hours back home. Really disappointing. not to mention the security guard accidentally pepper sprayed me and the front desk lady.

Room Cleanliness: • The bed sheets and towels in the room were stained. 3. Resolution Offered: • The front desk and Hotels.com representatives agreed to issue a credit for the 2-night stay on the condition that we checked out, did not use the beds or towels, and kept the room clean and untouched. • The front desk clerk sent a security guard to verify that the room was indeed untouched. Photos were taken as proof. • Both the front desk clerk and Hotels.com representative confirmed that the reservation was canceled due to hotel issues, and a credit would be issued to my credit card. 4. Checkout: • We checked out 30 minutes after checking in due to the issues encountered.

I liked everything about the property. It was spacious. I had a pool. It was close to the freeway close to the shopping mall the jam, restaurants, coffee shops very nice and not too expensive. I had this laundry soda, snack machine nice staff not too pricey.

This is a very nice property close to the stores, restaurants coffee Mart, swimming area and good for families closer to the discovery center and mall

Building was pretty old. Wi-fi didn’t work in my area of the property. Looked like some sketchy drug deals going down around the outskirts. It was cheap and served its purpose but not sure I would stay there again.

felt uncomfortable sleeping in dirty bed with burn marks, stains, and human hair in multiple parts of the “cleaned” bed. The handheld shower head broke off and was entirely broken could not put it back on. The people above me stomped around all night long no literally had to leave and go drive for Uber all night since I wasn’t sleeping there couldn’t if I had even tired

No wash cloths found in the room,luckily i brought my own, no soap in the dispensers shower or sink, carpet not vacuumed at all, i brought my own bath soap, lotion in dispenser, dispenser may have been broke in the tub,no racks to use in the refrigerator, stains on the lamp, terrible creaking mattress ,a big crack under the door had to put a towel there due to trash can right outside. My door afraid something may crawl in excellent customer service!

I enjoyed walking to the Mall

I liked the Polly's Pie restaurant next door and Mainplace Mall nearby. Unfortunately, my rental car was hit by drunk driver in parking lot. My rental car was parked. Headache. Lobby staff not very helpful. I won't stay there again

Key card inactivated every single day Bad cleaning, forgot coffee replacements, not enough towels, dirty floor, and a sock under the bed from previous guest, broken ice machine, laundry mostly inaccessible, no parking near my room by late afternoon, unfriendly staff. Found a roach in my room the morning of checkout, room was a bit rough, bedspread had what looked like burn holes in it. Fine for a last minute place to sleep but I wouldn't book again. Staff was pleasant so I'll give them that.

The fence in the restroom did not work. The showerhead was old and nasty. There was no pressure coming out of the shower. I didn’t feel like I showered properly so I had to go to the gym to shower

This hotel is conveniently close to a Mall but I won’t be staying here any longer as the room floor was dirty and I saw a roach. The bed sheets and towels were clean. There was no chair to sit in and the Rep who checked me in was not friendly at all.

Pretty good stay for the price and across to a great restaurant walking distance. Felt safe with secirity guard walking around and we got to see him walk the premises. Handicapped parking nice. Front desk professional and had coffee all day free.

My car got hit by a hit and run driver. There are not enough cameras to cover the parking lot. The maid bangs on the door like if she was was the God Damn Police. Even afterr you scream that i was coming, to hold on im getting dressed. Still. Banging on the god dam door. Loud, loud , loud.! All day. All night and day!. You have to be loud just to fit in. Horrible stay.
