The manager’s husband and wife are very helpful, friendly and professional. I liked the price ( Budget friendly ). The location close to restaurants, stores, my credit union and the freeway. Downstairs. Parking very close to my room. I liked the king size bed, bathroom, ac, tv and tables. No roaches, spiders, bugs and rodents. The only thing I didn’t like was the mini fridge that made a very loud noise when I first plugged it. Then I decided to keep it unplugged and not use it anymore.

The owner was a horrible angry man that doesn’t even have the common sense to look at the reservation before he decides everyone will come in and screw up his motel. He’s the only screw up. This man started screaming at “hello”. Screamed “do you smoke?” Screamed suspiciously “how many guests” I filled all that out before I got there on my work trip. I asked him why he’s so angry and he lost it and threw my I.D. At me and walked away. His wife was there and I asked her to sign me in and she did so silently. We went to our room afraid that this jerk would throw us out at any minute. Also there’s a deposit that’s never mentioned but he’s sure he knows everything. He made the whole thing suck.

Okay for the money.

Ac was stale and a bit moldy in smell. Manager beat on my door for 5 minutes saying i parked wrong. Toilet would not flush properly. Was told i needed a cash deposit for the key on the amount of $100 then was told it would be $50. I gave a deposit of $20. I booked 2 nights and left after the staff beat on my door. Horrible place.

Horrible nasty dirty hotel and the property owner very rude he takes a 20 deposit and warm you to nor bring guest or smoking in the room or tou loose the deposit, they are also checking you all the time are bothering guests telling them where to park.

I didn't even enter my room and still didn't receive my refund for 85 dollars I paid for this room . This place is the worse place you can stay at . Never find me here again

If you are just needing a place to shower and sleep this is a great place. Family ran, very helpful, rooms are old and dated but clean and in good repair. A budget hotel with a budget price and more than adequate room. Parking is a bit tight with a truck but plenty of room if you are driving a normal size car. Would stay again.

Room, beds were hard as a rock and blankets had cigarette holes despite advertising smoke free rooms.

For a two star motel, what do you expect? I've been in worse and this place was not to bad for the price. I stayed one night at a phenomenal price, I would stay there again because the place is not bad and the price is great. All you need is to rest your head one night, so you can go at it again.

Management were rude and incompetent so we left, we would love to have our money back.

Bed sheets were ripped & stained

Room floor was dirty, bathroom barley had any toilet paper on the roll and no extras. Caulking in the bathroom was a gross brown and had things stuck in it and to it. Bath tub looked disgusting so we didn't use it. No lock on the bathroom window. Tissue shoved in peep hole, we didn't touch it. Okay customer service.

This location should not be on Expedia. They ask for cash deposit as a hold even though i asked why it wasnt in their policies which can be considered discriminatory. The room was abyssmal and dirty. Room description says there is supposed be a fridge and there was no fridge. Would not reccomend to anyone

Bottom line, just pay the extra dollars and find someplace that isn't a burden and won't hit you with a bunch of unexpected stuff.

Bed was to stiff please do better

The owner was rude and pushy. He made demands and restrictions about our stay. He told us where we could and could not park each night within the very small parking lot. He was adamant that I could not invite a friend to visit in the room. He demanded I give him $20 cash as a security deposit for the room key card. There was also absolutely no toiletries provided except a small bar of hand soap. He was very belittling toward women and made our stay incredibly uncomfortable.

It was cheap true - but, towels were like hand towels. Sheet was not fitted so pulled off mattress as soon as you lifted the single blanket. Owner very surly, Made me leave at check in, go to ATM for $20 cash, for key deposit. And I killed a cockroach on the pillow next to me in middle of night. I’ll pay $10 more to go another location in the future!

The Inn was clean, safe and quiet for my family. The staff was open to questions or requests during our stay.

Strange. Interrogated on arrival (I’m a clean cut business man). Demanded $20 cash as deposit to give me plastic key card (what if I didn’t happen to have cash with me). Room had no clothes bar, had to hang suit on shower rod. Beds sheet too small, instantly pulled out from tuck and could not get it back. The AC did work well however.

I usually don't like to post negative about the property but I want to help others to save their money. This place is not in a good shape. Housekeeping didn't do a good job cleaning the bathroom. Its dirty, mold or mildew on edge of tub. No shampoo and conditioners. The bed is not comfortable. No hot kettle in the room.No vending machine to buy a drink. I would not go back again.

This was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had. The owner was terrible and rude as hell. I was so upset by the time I left this place. All around terrible. It was also disgusting. The bed was turned upside down to cover blood and god knows what else. Just terrible.

Please take my advice this place is not for decent people specially when traveling with you lovely family. I booked for 2 night hardly sleep for 3 hrs. and we left this place and my 2nd night in other better place I don't care for money back. Management very annoying very dirty room, shower and toilet. Only 2 queen beds, 2 old chairs tiny table and nothing else no even a telephone unit and night stands, sorry but this was my experience in Santa Travel Inn.

The hotel room was dirty, the mattress was dirty and they had to change out room… the place definitely needs to be deep clean.we did not sleep well.

They allow no visitors, not even relatives can visit during the day.

I did not find shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom but may have been available at the front desk (I brought my own). There were plenty of clean towels and housekeeping is very good. I would recommend this place as a nice place to stay at and it is conveniently located to the museums (Bower Museum is across the street), etc.

The exterior building was pretty and we are happy to be able to stay in the room facing the south. We had a bit issue stepping high to get on the beds. I also wonder if the housekeeping lady came every day.

I liked the price but I guess you get what you pay for. There was nothing inviting about the room at all. It was old, rundown, mold in the shower, old dingy towels, stains on the bed. If I could I’d ask for my money back.

It was horrible. There was no parking in the lot or on the street. Room was dirty and smelled horrible. There was patches in the walls. Restroom was disgusting. This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. And when mentioned to the owner she said sorry and walked away. Very disappointed.

There were long black hairs in the tube area. But if was clean. Next time I will request a bottom floor.

Simple but appealing

I stayed at the Santa Ana Inn the other day and I had a bad experience. I used my 1 free hotel night and paid the taxes out of pocket, but I had 3 things in particular that were bad. First, there were dead bugs (flies) inside my sheets and the bodies of the flies decomposed and broke into many pieces. Second, when I woke up in the morning, the AC unit condensation flooded my room and ruined my dress shoe. Additionally, when I left in the morning and closed the door, I found out the door never locked properly all along and had been open all night. When I checked out no one came to the office for over 30 minutes, so I left my key under their secure window and left, so I could not tell the management this.

Worst hotel, didn't even stayed. Got inside the room, 15 minutes later I was out.

I was NOT happy at all with our room & not for the price I paid. I didnt realize it was a motel till we got there. Neighborhood is a little on the scary side. There was no parking and very little parking lots. The good thing is the staff let us create and find a space inside the lot. The staff was friendly made you feel comfortable. The room that’s where I had a real problem, it was horrible, crowded, not much space, smelled bad. Really stuffy, we couldn’t sleep at night. The sheets smelled musty like underarm odor and in the morning when we woke to make the bed, we realized they were full of stains and other people’s hair. I asked for new bed sheets and towels, house keeping was really sweet about it, but of course the same thing the next night with the sheets. The bath towels were also stained. It just felt gross in there to even shower. The shower and sink drain were clogged! My daughter unclogged the shower drain and pulled out a lot of hair that was not ours. We were really uncomfortable being in the room and still had to tough another night there (too stressed, too busy to look for another) definitely the worst we’ve ever stayed in. I rather pay a few dollars more for a better hotel next time still 196$ for 2 nights was not worth it at all.

Nice hotel. Very quiet!

The location is nice, near the mall and downtown. Also, Bowers museum is across the street. Noise level is minimum. Only two problems we had were the maid service and the bed. Stayed there 6 days maid only came once on our 2nd night so we had to ask for more clean towels. He/she only made one bed and left the other a mess. Also, the beds are ok 3/5 comfort but, the sheets are what sucks. Thin and do not help with the cold. Would not recommend this place unless it’s your last option.

The hotel is very old and needs renovation. The vet was terrible, awful, the worst I have been. I won’t stay there again. For the same price, even a little less you can stay at the Red Roof a few blocks away and it’s 1 million times better and nicer

You get a bed, bathroom, desk and TV. OK to just go to sleep, clean up in the morning and go. Not the place to stay if you are traveling with your wife, unless she is very spartan, not fussy, easy going. Ring the bell to call the check in guy who services you behind bullet proof glass; he was polite, very efficient. Check in and out was very fast and easy since I pre-paid through Expedia. Skip the morning coffee.

Came here for a quick night I got a pretty big room for a good price only downside was it smelt a bit like cigarettes when I walked in but it was supposed to be a non smoking room other than that it was a good stay

I would never recommend this hotel or visit this hotel. The staff were extremely rude and local people stated that this hotel was used for robberies and innapropriate solicitations.

We were invited to a wedding right down from the hotel got into town a bit early and the manager allowed us to check in earlly so we could rest a little before the event,,, we parked our vehicle rested then were able to walk to the event and back to the hotel in a safe manner,,, the museum across the hotel is a must see on our next visit,,,

Over two different stays at this hotel, the rooms were consistently clean and acceptable, but bare. No lamps or decorations at all, but painted and kept-up. Minimal towels provided -- if it had been more than just me on a business trip, the towels provided wouldn't have been sufficient. Coffee hours in the morning were posted as 6:30-10:30 am, but when I came down at 8:15 the coffee maker wasn't turned on. The proprietor offered to turn it on for me and have coffee ready in "a little bit," but I was in a hurry to leave to my meeting. Oh well, no coffee. But acceptable overall.

The office people are rude. I called to ask a question and they hung up on me twice. NEVER STAY HERE Dirty and gross.

Not a pleasing hotel to stay. Room felt claustrophobic. I would recommend some other hotel. But if you really short on cash, I guess you could stay for 1 night.
