The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The complimentary breakfast had a great variety of options and was a great way to start the day. The location was convenient with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and nearby attractions. My only wish is that the hotel had a bar on-site, but that's a minor thing and certainly didn't take away from an otherwise great experience. Overall, this was one of the best hotel stays I've had, and I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

We were evacuated and the room we got was awesome. 2 full bedrooms and 2 full bedrooms! We had our dogs too. If you need to stay for an extended time, it would be great to settle into.

We stayed here for our first family Trip to Disney 5.8.26. It was overall a great experience. I didn’t give 5 stars because the WiiFii in the Poolside rooms are HORRIBLE. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and we loved the basketball court, pool and fire pit! I would stay there again if they fixed the WiiFii service . They did comp the parking to accommodate for the bad internet service.

Cons: next to a busy fwy & windows were not noise insulated - we needed to change rooms as a result; A/C in the room we moved to was really loud. We asked staff to send maintenance but unsure if that happened since nothing changed. Had to sleep w/earplugs (provided free at front desk) but not the most comfortable. Also needs new mattresses.

There really is nothing wrong with this place other than parking permit. The room is great (KING) with kitchen. Good breakfast. The area has easy access to freeway. If staying longer, food options within walking distance and other attractions within 15 minute drive. If you are not staying near South Coast, like the Westin or other Marriotts, this is the place. The parking fee. What a joke this is. There is plenty of parking all around the hotel. There is no parking structure. The hotel is on a shared property with other businesses. The parking is like you would find at a motel 6. There is no maintenance solely attached to this hotel - that would be under there triple net lease. Pass needs to be posted by 12AM, which means they have a tow company come by and tow cars. Total money grab. It's the one thing that would make me never stay here again. Hence the two point ding.

The room was awesome…clean,well equipped. The bed was super comfy. The shower was outstanding. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious every morning. Residence is one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. Great location.

The fire alarms went off several times and when I asked for a late checkout … they were going to charge me. Cleanliness is great. Amenities great. Customer service is huge.

Excellent hotel! The staff were very nice and very attentive and professional as well. Housekeeper was great! Kitchen could have been a little cleaner but it wasn’t bad at all. The gym was really good even though it was small and the spa and pool were nice too!

The room with the sofa bed & two queen beds was very roomy and comfy! Loved the tub with curtains, and the blackout curtains in both the living room and bedroom. Especially loved that our Netflix and other streaming apps automatically log us out after check-out, and let us log out before check out for our comfort! The Starbucks drive through in the same plaza was also a pleasant and convenient surprise. Staff was very polite and thorough in answering any questions and keeping us informed of their hotel policies. We were able to get refills on our amenities right away as they were delivered straight to our door! Will come again!

We were disappointed because we asked for housekeeping on Black Friday and it never happened. The front desk was empty upon checkout

Clean room, nice size. There were dishes in the dishwasher and not clean. Wifi was almost non-existant. Breakfast was mediocre but okay for a hotel chain breakfast. More than just a continental breakfast.

We actually had a leak with out AC unit but they got us moved quickly. We stayed in the patio room and it was amazing.

We wrote 2 letters to management about 8 issues we had about the room and never got a response. For instance, the shower was broken and the lighting in the room was very bad.

Excellent bed in the bedroom, BUT the sofa mattress in the living room is a whole another story.

I did like that it was right next to Starbucks and that they had a free breakfast on site. Staff was very nice.

It's a very decent place to stay, it is very clean and it was very quiet, so you can relax and rest easily. Plus having the small kitchenette with the refrigerator, microwave, etc. it's a big plus.

Unable to find a luggage cart at check in. Room was moved due to plumbing issues. A/C rattles next to the bed. Requested sheets changed and not done 8 hours later. Pool was nice.

My room came with a kitchen which came with a full sized fridge. Everything worked great. One of the best things is that there’s a Starbucks in the same parking lot. Score.

Great except for no ice machine on property and our room one wasn’t working. They replaced but still only got about 6 cubes every 6-8 hours.

Wonderful property and convenient location. We have been here for several prior stays. Love the spacious suite style floor plans. Breakfast is great and generous! Staff is friendly and professional. Beds and linens are so comfortable! A few minor maintenance issues that I didn’t bother to report as we were only there for a couple of nights: Deadbolt door lock kept sticking/One night, hot water in shower was lacking/vanity light was out so it made the bathroom dark. All very minor but should be fixed. Thanks! Aloha~

We booked a stay for our family of four, and the rooms were quite spacious. Although the parking lot was full, we managed to find parking near the front of the hotel. Our room featured a full-size fridge, a kitchen sink, and a separate couch with a TV, although the TV was a bit dated. Overall, we had a good experience during our stay.

I love almost everything about this property. We stay here at least once or twice a month. The only thing I have to say with our most recent visit in room 440 the shower door does not close all the way. And the room didn’t have a remote, but I did go down to the front desk and asked for one and they provided that to me. I just wish breakfast started at 6:30 in the morning on weekends also.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at.

Even though it was a one nite stay, our room was clean and fresh! Everything was in order, kitchen set up was amazing. We have stayed here a half dozen times and are always totally satisfied.

Bathroom could have been cleaner on the shower there was hair and dirt under the foot stand

the breakfast is good if you’re in a rush and need a bite of something. the elevators seem kind of sketchy at times — and by that i mean the movements. the area near the hotel is quiet, even though you are right next to the freeway, you can’t hear a peep. i do wish the TVs were more updated. the picture is blurry and the tv takes a while to react to the remote.

Need renovations and better parking

The bathroom was dirty and the bed only had one small blanket and two pillows. No extra blankets or pillows in the closet. Only two towels. Not enough. The bathroom flooded from the broken swinging shower door so all the water went everywhere and I didn’t have enough towels to dry the floor and almost slipped

It’s close to John Wayne Airport and has an in suite kitchen which is probably the only reason I return. I’ve noticed the rooms are not getting as clean as they did last year - lots of dust on shelves and grubby windows. The hallways do need some maintenance. On the plus the free breakfast is a bonus and the staff is nice.

Cool air is there in July for us! Lol Breakfast was good but we were there for 9 days and it was the same choices everyday. The washroom- Only two washers were working. The first two days that we were there it was $3.00 to wash. I went to use again a few days later and the price was increased to $4!! How does that happen? Coffee and tea were not available 24hrs as stated. The kitchen quickly put it all away after breakfast. It would of been nice to have out because several days we were up early and had to wait till breakfast opened to have coffee. Weekdays was 6am and weekends was 7am. We were up at 4 am several mornings because we had to leave for our tournament by 5am. Coffee would have been nice. For the most part stay was comfy, we were able to move rooms for a bigger one half way through our stay. Everyone at from desk was friendly and nice.

Everything about the property was lovely. Nice pool area and lounge areas. Hotel was very quiet at night. Beautiful plants around the buildings. My only complaint is there were no breakfast trays to take your food back to your room. I had a cup of coffee fall on my arm leaving a first degree burn on it. Not a great way to start the trip

It was a pleasant stay for us in big room with 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed. It was so nice to have a kitchen with big refrigerator. Only thing I thought was the breakfast food area was small. We went to have breakfast almost 8 am and felt very crowed to get food...

Everything was great the only thing wrong was the a/c kept going off and had a error message on it and couldn’t get the a/c to come back on it was to late at night to call front desk due to my kids sleeping and didn’t want to have to change rooms so we opened the window to get some air due to it being so humid in the room other than that everything was nice

Very clean and spacious. The only thing that was upseting last two nights which was memorial weekend a guest decided to have a large party by the pool with lots of people this lasted 2 night's in a row. It was very loud and annoying.

The Starbucks beside the hotel is under construction. That is temporary. Choose a room facing away from the highway so it’s more quiet. 3 out of the 5 washing machines were broken. Our dishwasher in the room did not work properly. The room was clean. The bathroom of rooms with just the shower looked very well maintained. For short stays of 5-7 days this room is great. For longer stays it seems a bit tight for a family of 4. The L shape room is not that comfortable. The coffee service is barely ok. This is when the Starbucks would have been convenient. Overall good price for the location and quality. Could be better though. Staff was friendly as well.

The smell of our room was different. It was not pleasant. The conditioner bottle had a strand of hair from the previous guest.
