This is the nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. I'm always suspicious of the 5 star reviews with no comments on hotel sites, but this one deserves it. It IS a Motel 6, so no bathrobes or hair dryers or in-room coffee. But this one appears to have been recently painted and was very clean. There's even crown molding! It's in Old Town Tustin, so a decent area with enough parking. And the man who checked me in and out was very nice.

I would not hesitate to stay there for future visits to the area. If I am being critical, some upkeep and maintenance was needed. Shutters were damaged in the room. Coffee maker in the office area was not sufficient to keep up with the morning demands.

The bathroom, specifically the wall inside the door, was not clean. The shower took so long to warm up we almost gave up on even taking a shower. The beds are stiff as a board. Parking is cramped. Bathroom hardware looks self-repaired, as in missing drain stops or faucets sticking out several inches from the wall with messy plaster to cover the holes, extremely noisy exhaust fan, A/C that does not work very well, the mini fridge wasn't very cold. The only thing going for this property is it's low cost, very friendly / kind staff, and generally quiet atmosphere.

For all of it's issues, it's clean. It's dingy. There are stains and obvious discoloration everywhere, cigarette marks in the blankets and mattress, and it smelled. Couldn't decide of menthol cigarettes or incense. Also there was a door couldn't be locked from our aide in the room and felt dangerous.

I killed a roach on my first night. There was no bath tub in the room as the listing says. When I asked, they told me the King bed rooms don't have bathtubs. But if you look at the main photo for the listing is that not a king bed with a bathtub in the room? I was disappointed because that was one of the main reasons I booked this specific hotel. The windows don't have curtains, but these weird blinds that don't close all the way, you can still se through into the room from outside especially at night.

The rooms were tidy but very worn. If you have high expectations probably steer clear. For the price I would say a fair deal. Nice area.

It is a Motel 6, after all--but a good Motel 6. Old facility nicely redone. Clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Occasional glitches with Anglo-Indian English, but basically fine. Disappointed the I had to ask for housekeeping after 4 days. I think it should be standard every 2 or 3 days for longer stays like mine.

Refrigerator leaked onto the floor. TV cable had no listing in the room, and channel surfing showed most channels had poor or no reception.

due to another mishap with a different hotel, we were able to book here super late at night with no issues. its an OK hotel, clearly was not swept well as we found a blunt on the floor. bathroom had a weird, mildew smell. staff were very nice and friendly. blankets had cigarette holes. parking is a little strange. our last day we unfortunately found a roach in the bathroom and decided to check out early. area around the hotel is quite nice, we felt comfortable walking to a convenience store close by at night.

There was not a comfortable chair/couch and small table to sit to watch TV or eat a meal. I didn't feel safe there, there were people staying in their cars on the street behind the Motel. There was at least one group of people staying there that were having a somewhat loud argument/discussion outside/near my room. When I checked in there were two policemen there. I didn't ask what was happening, but it did make me think about my safety. Overall, people during the day seemed friendly and there were no major problems. For the price, the room was fine.

The rest was 3/5 at best. Start with the good. Clean room. No bugs. It was cheap. Bad points No hot water!! Beds were lumpy as if the springs gave up. Those beds need to be thrown out. Super small bathroom. No hot water for the shower..

Got a room for 1 week I get there the guy said they are cleaning the room I said ok I waited 1 hours with my kids it was really hot that day finally go up to the room and I like to wipe down everything with Disinfecting wipes that room was so dirty that the white small towels wasn’t white anymore I go back to the front office he said she cleaned the room I had pictures of how dirty it was he didn’t even apologize or gave me any discount it wasn’t worth my $800 dlls I left that room so clean

Hot water worked sometimes. Was in too big of a hurry everyday to call and get it fixed. The bathroom was disgusting, paint slapped everywhere. Two screws holding the mirror on. Tweakers and ladies of the night wandering the parking lot all hours of the night. Maintenance worker was changing trashes at 3am banging the lid around right outside the hotel room.

Was a fair stay. First room they checked me into had holes in the wall behind the front door. They switched me rooms. Plumbing fixtures were corroded in the shower in the second room. Needs some upgrades.

I wanted an inexpensive, two bed room in the area between Anaheim and Tustin, with free parking. This served my purpose. It was clean, comfortable and accessible, just off I-5. No noise. With a Starbucks within a few blocks on Newport.

The room was not clean and and smelled of cigarette smoke and weed even though it’s a nonsmoking property. Also, I awoke in the middle of the night to my arms being terribly itchy. Turns out the mattress had bed bugs and I had multiple bites all over both arms.

Not impressed. There was very limited parking and the spots that they did have seem to be taken by “long term” tenants who would block them with cones. The room itself was dirty and the “remodel” looked like someone just put new caulking over top the old in the bathroom. The shower was disgusting and there was virtually no hot water.

All appliances and lights worked, but no power outlet was accessible at the computer desk. No Kleenex, only TP; soap bars were super-small. Front door did not seal, letting in car noise, voices, cold air, and light. However the king bed and bedding were very comfortable.

The people in the morning were nice but the lady at night was rude. I wanted to ask her something and she didn't want to get up from her chair. I just wanted to know where to park because there were no more spaces when I arrived to sleep. So I had to park on the street without knowing if they could tow my car. I couldn't sleep well because I was on alert.

It was a last minute booking from a horrible experience at another hotel in Irvine. I came here worried about what I would experience. It was clean, had everything I needed and the staff was kind. It was a little noisy in the surrounding area in the morning but not too bad. I would definitely return.

This Motel 6 is nothing fancy, but what Motel 6 is? I stay here regularly because the staff is very friendly, efficient check in and the location is near old town Tustin where you can walk to restaurants and bars.

A very clean room. The location is ideal for freeways and food options as well. In a quiet little area in Tustin very close to Irvine, and a short drive to the beach. Will add this to my list of go-to spots when I'm in the area.

The room had a weird smell, AC was not blowing cold air, Kitchen and fridge were very dirty and smelled bad! Very noisy at night kept hearing doors slam all night long.

I needed a one night stay for a work event last minute and didn't want to pay gobs of money just to sleep. I liked the parking, check in was quick and easy and the room was cleanish. Just don't look too closely at anything - you get what you pay for. I felt safe and would stay again. Noisy area and noisy air conditioner so bring earplugs. Microwave, fridge and large bathroom, great water pressure.

Reception is very friendly and accommodating, the check in is quick. My room is always clean. The main reason I stay here is because it's walkable to old Tustin's little Main Street. I can walk to bars and restaurants as well as shops. The price is really good as well. I highly recommend this particular Motel 6.

Everything was okay. Except for one thing. I kept hearing the water run all night. I had a hard time falling asleep and maintaining my sleep. I had to get up early for work the next day. Which I had a hard time staying awake due to the sleepless night I had. I ledt at 6 am the next morning and no one was at the front office.

A lot of long hairs on bed and on the shower towel . I wonder if they really clean the room and if they wash the towels at all

Absolutely gross, the entire room smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom was filthy and the parking sucks. I would give this place zero stars if possible. NEVER coming back here.

Our room was very dirty on arrival. We arrived very late. The sheets were dirty. The tub was very dirty, and the toilet wasn't flushed. The motion sensing light switches don't work properly, so the lights and bathroom lights turn on and off all night long. The rooms are very small, as shown when booking. The fridge just freezes all the food and drinks in it. The exterior seems very well kept, and the staff was helpful. The location is great, you can walk to almost anything you could want.

There was a weird red substance all over the bathroom. The toilet was giving problems and it smelled weird upon arrival. The a red substance was on the air conditioner as well and the walls were dirty.

The staff was very nice to me and made check in and check out very simple! The room was nice. The shower took a while to heat up but once it did it was great. The water pressure is good here! I liked the kitchenette in my room!

I regularly visit Tustin to spend time with my friends. This motel is in a great location for walking to downtown Tustin where there are bars and restaurants. The people are very nice and accommodating.

I WASNT NOTIFIED THAT CHECK OUT DATE WAS UP I HAD CONFIRMED WITH FRONT DESK FOR A CERTAIN DAY AND I SHOWED UP AND MY BELOGINGS WERE GONE FROM THE ROOM THEY HAD MY STUFF IN THEIR DIRTY STORAGE AND KEPT MY BRAND NEW SHOWER ITEMS

The rooms are small and haven’t been updated in years. The A/C was filthy and covered in some mystery sticky substance as was most of the rest of the room including the doors. I’m used to a Motel 6, and this place is still beyond sketchy and dirty. Nice area of town though.

They can't really control the overall "behavior" of guests, so I won't complain it. Within the room, you won't be disappointed with the stay.

Cleaner than most “HOTELS” even though this is a motel.

One of the rooms shutters were broken so we couldn’t close it all the way, second room had cigarette burns in blanket on bed and the bathroom was dirty and had graffiti artwork behind the tv and smelled like cigarettes.
