Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall

The front desk staff was so friendly and welcoming! Also the room cleaning ladies were very friendly! The hotel was really clean and pleasant environment.

Tv in room had no service. But otherwise it was decent enough stay.

When the conditioner was turned on dirt/dust fell out all over the area near it. We asked the next morning to have it vacuumed up and when we got back it wasn’t done. When the front desk was called to get it done he came up right away.

One piece of feedback on the booking process: when reserving, it wasn't clear whether breakfast was included with our rate. We assumed it was, but found out at the hotel that it wasn't. It would help future travelers if the rate options clearly showed whether breakfast is included, and offered it as an add-on where available. A small thing, but it would make planning easier and avoid surprises at check-in.

It was fine but this is definitely a family hotel. Not really a romantic couples spot.

We were fooled on how big the rooms were by the pictures. If we would have realized how small the rooms were we would have never booked here. I really encourage the site to upload different photos.

However, we were in room 211. Directly outside our window was a noisy fan that turned on and off constantly. All night. Very irritating. If we had not been so busy while we were there, we would have requested another room.

I wish there was a continental breakfast. The food there was expensive for what it was. Two pops/drinks were $11.

We were however disappointed that we could not log in to our Netflix or any other streaming accounts.

I went back the next day to straighten my issue, the clerk checked and saw I was right, she told me the manager will get back to me but they didn't. Till this day. I still need my $46. .. back

Pleasant

The rooms were clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. We were there only one night for a cheer competition and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice place to stay for quick trips. Doesn’t have guests amenities e.g., happy hour, free breakfast etc. Staff was friendly and responsive. Location was clean and furnished nicely. In a really good area with plenty of dining and shopping options close by. Suggest to get better mattresses for sleeper sofa.

This property is run-down and needs to be updated. The best part is the lobby. But furniture is worn down too. The rooms have dirty carpet. The bathrooms have different areas of disrepair. This place just feels dirty and outdated, not even the grounds are trimmed around the parking lot. Front desk service was nice though.

The staff was great however the rooms could definitely benefit from a makeover. It looks very dated. I’m pretty sure I slept on dirty sheets and there wasn’t any shower gel in the dispenser

We had ants in our room and had to be moved to another room. The furniture and room weres dated. There was no microwave in the room. The overall accommodation was not up to par. I would not recommend and would never stay there again.

The room was nice and clean. I liked the dining area by the lobby where you can bring takeout and eat.

The room was decent. It was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. The body wash container mounted in the shower, was empty. I called the from desk and was put on hold for a long time so I decided to go to the front desk. We eventually got shower gel later in the evening.

Workout room was closed, didn’t offer cots, breakfast and coffee not served until 7 am.

Pool was very small. Bathroom walls were dirty. No exhaust fan in bathroom.

Everything was amazing from the room to the amenities of the hotel. Only complaining I can do was the luke warm temperature of the shower. I wasted 10 minutes trying to adjust the water pressure and temperature for a good shower then realized that was just how it was.

The room and hotel were very clean and comfortable. Having the backyard area was relaxing with the landscaping, lightly piped in music and if we wanted to, grill. The staff were very helpful as well room 106 had mechanical sounds that at times could keep you up at night. There was also an issue with the water temperature in the shower. Made for quick showers

Everything was perfect, except there was no hot water. Cold showers are a drag.

Front desk and hotel room was nice but there were some issues. No body wash or soap was provided in the bathroom, the water temperature was lukewarm at its hottest with low pressure and the gym advertised on the hotel website was closed for construction (far from complete). Please do not advertise amenities that are either closed or do not exist.

That was very comfortable. But the lukewarm shower was very disappointing. Always and elevators were dirty.

Our stay was overall a a good experience. The room was clean, staff was helpful and friendly, and location was convenient with plenty to do and food options nearby. My ONLY complaint was the lukewarm water for the shower. Even my 7 and 8 year old mentioned it. I did not mention it to staff and not too sure if there was something that could've been done. Outside of that, we had an amazing girls getaway for the weekend!

It's a great place to stay. Very comfortable and convenient to get to. They could do better at keeping up with the demand for warm showers.

No hot water for shower Saturday morning at 9:30 am. Bathroom door didn’t shut- door too big for frame. No soap for sink. Had to use shower wall dispenser. Maid tapped door twice despite “privacy please” disturbed sleeping. We got in very late so this was annoying. Overall very disappointed in experience

Clean, easy parking, what you would expect from a Marriot

This property was not what I expected of a Courtyard Marriott. It was run down in places and the bed was terrible. It was lumpy and sagging into the middle. Time for an upgrade to this property.

Everything was nice and clean. It was a nice neighborhood and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. There were also restaurants nearby if you were hungry.

Front desk and Hector were great. Reviews said it was a 9 out of 10 stars, it was not. We had an issue with our room which they straightened out quickly. It was a good not great stay.

Went for a weekend with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. The room was great, the staff was super friendly and the location was perfect for what we needed.

The staff was very friendly. From front desk staff especially Naz, the server/Bartender Hector and our driver Dick. They were all so welcoming. I would highly recommend this place

When we arrived i was greeted right away. Our room was clean although when we got there the air was set to 61 in our room in the middle of January so it was freezing! Easy fix but it took a bit to get warm. Housekeeping came every other day so our room wasn't cleaned at all during our stay.. we stayed for a weekend. No liners in the garbage cans so we used an empty shopping bag especially for our food items that were trash. Also we stayed at this hotel for their pool, but it was so small compared to what the pictures showed online and it was freezing! I mean so cold the kids couldnt enjoy it at all. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel for breakfast which was very costly, $16 for eggs, bacon, some potatoes and toast. A bagel was $6! My fiance got the same breakfast i did and instead of bacon he asked for sausage and when we received it it was ice cold, so we had to send that back. The hotel itself was nice just not somewhere i would recommend or where i wojlf stay again. We stayed here because it was close to Legoland which was the point of our visit.

It’s okay this time it was quiet

Sheets and beds dirty and fridge didn’t work to use to put baby milk in

Liked that they had breakfast option to buy, but front desk was not good. I had reserved a standard room - not the modified accessible option but as a woman they said they had nothing else. Hotels often think women will just take it without push back. Then had bug issue in my room. Asked to check out and they “found” another room. Then maid left about 8 rooms open including mine by propping open the security lock latch. Luckily nothing stolen! I called down to front desk so they could have someone fix the other guests door but an hour later when I went down stairs the other guest doors were still ajar! I again went to front desk to warn them of potential theft and she didn’t even thank me. Won’t be back.

Everything was fine until housekeeping was in the hallway in other rooms screaming out loud and I couldn't sleep. Sometimes people just need to get some deserving rest and find a place to stay to do that although doing that was somewhat difficult to do during my stay at courtyard by Marriot since housekeeping woke me. Other than that, everything else was fine.

I was very impressed for the price point of the Courtyard Schaumburg/Woodfield hotel. It was worth the small amount more per day for this excellent room. My only complaint is the non-daily house keeping but this has been every hotel since COVID so it is not the location’s fault.
