Very clean hotel. Expected a better breakfast, but everything else was amazing.
- 5/5
This hotel is amazing! Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, room was very clean, the room had all the amenities someone would need for staying more than one night, such as a full fridge and freezer, dishwasher, plates, cups, etc. Even the product line they had for hand soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner smelled great and was skin friendly! They have a workout room, indoor pool, breakfast, and quarter machine laundry machines on site. It is also located right next to Egg Harbor- a breakfast place, near multiple other restaurants, and across from Woodfield Mall. It is also not far from I-90 and 53. I will definitely be staying here again for my next trip!

The room online pictured the rooms both with and without tubs, next time I'll ensure my room has a tub due to having a small child for bathing purposes.

Great breakfast, clean rooms, nice pool area. Felt like home away from home with the segmented room
- 4/5
It was a great stay. We only stay in Home2. I just wish the breakfast was better. Not alot of hot choices. But Great coffee!!
- 5/5
My kids enjoyed the stay
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
During the week, the breakfast was good and fully stocked. However, on the weekend, the wait for the hot breakfast to be replenished was over 20 minutes. The staff worked as quickly as possible, but there was quite a line of people waiting. The lobby was welcoming, clean, and smelled great! The pool is small, but it was great for the kids! There are a lot of restaurants nearby as well. We would stay here again!
- 5/5
Very clean and updated hotel. The gym was a little small, but sufficient for a short stay. The pool was very small as well and for a little over crowded. The staff was all super friendly and helpful.

Nice large rooms with all you need for a multiple day stay. Cleaning staff did a wonderful job mli g our sty even better. Good variety for breakfast each morning. The kids had a fun time each evening in the indoor pool with lots of towels available to use. Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and very helpful.
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 3/5
The accommodations do not match the overall experience of the hotel. We had a nice sized room but stains on the pillows, and no blankets for the sofa bed. The bathroom was big but the doors were broken, could not latch or close so you had no privacy. The living room and bedroom had separate HVAC which was good, but both units were really loud when working waking you up when sleeping.
- 5/5
Didn't use any of those accommodation

While the hotel in general was clean, it was not the best home2suites. Little things like the coffee creamer in the room was not restocked and were crushed says that the staff does not care for the little details. The staff was definitely not as friendly as most we stay in. The pools in these hotels are always way too cold.
- 5/5
Clean room, good service
- 4/5
Great stay! Wonderful front desk staff and breakfast staff. They had cute free stickers my girls loved and coloring sheets when they got bored one night. Breakfast was great and had most of the same items but a few items were different each day which was nice. Only complaint was our room was a little dingy. The sink was smelly in the bathroom and the water out of just that faucet was a little funny color. We just used the other sink. That was fine.
- 5/5
Great breakfast and clean rooms.
- 5/5
Great stay, Kids loved the Breakfast
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly.

- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
Pool was awful, you couldn't even sit in there due to the amount of chlorine in the water. My eyes were burning and my kids couldn't stop coughing. We had no conditioner in the bathroom and staff stated that house keeping left and there was nothing he could do about it. He was rude I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location, large room, and a great breakfast!
- 2/5
I booked a suite with a tub specifically because I have a special-needs child in a wheelchair. We were planning on going to the pool and then afterwards coming up to shower. She ended up moving us to a room with a tub and when we came back from the pool, we realized that the tub was not draining. We called the front desk and a maintenance man was sent upstairs after attempting a couple of times to drain the tub. He mentioned that it was so cold outside that the tub was probably frozen and therefore not draining. Needless to say we want the entire night itching and scratching because of the chlorine from the pool and not being able to shower.
- 5/5
The rooms were large and clean, staff friendly, breakfasts had a good variety to chose from. Would definitely return in the future

You don’t roll into Schaumburg expecting fireworks. This isn’t Paris or Tokyo—it’s Illinois, off the highway, where strip malls stretch for miles and the scent of chain restaurant fryer oil lingers in the summer heat. But when you're on the road with a family of five and the kids are coming unglued in the back seat, you’re not looking for magic. You're looking for space. You're looking for silence. You're looking for clean sheets and maybe—just maybe—a decent night’s sleep. Enter Home2Suites. It’s not flashy. It’s not trying to be. But step into the room and there's a quiet kind of relief. Spacious. Like someone thought, Maybe they’ll need to breathe. The kind of place where a kid can stretch out on a pull-out couch, another can sprawl across a queen bed like they’re claiming a kingdom, and you and your partner might actually have a few square feet of peace. Beds? Comfy. Not velvet luxury, but supportive enough that you don’t wake up feeling like you lost a bar fight. The room—quiet. No rattling HVAC, no ice machine symphony, no hallway stampede at midnight. Just the hum of a working hotel doing what it’s supposed to do. It’s not perfect. One night in, you notice the little things—a slightly scuffed wall here, an odd stain on a lampshade there. But nothing sinister. Nothing that makes you want to flee. For a one night stop on an 8 day road trip, it was enough. A place to drop our bags, shake the road off.

The whole hotel had a very strong fragrance smell which was overpowering. Only 1 elevator was working which make long wait times for getting to/from room. The beds are awful and so uncomfortable!! The front desk lady looked like she hated life..I asked her for extra pillows and she stated the wntire hotel was out of extra pillows. 4 pillows for a room with 2 beds (bed & pullout couch) is not enough! Definitely wouldn’t recommend and would never stay here again.

We had a nice stay at Home2Suites in Schaumburg
- 5/5
Everything was located close by
- 4/5
Big rooms, clean, nice area, breakfast needs improvement. Plenty restaurants around to dine in walking distance. Aside from breakfast itbwas perfect.
- 3/5
The staff was not friendly. We moved to the town place suites down the road. Much better experience overall
- 5/5
I was very pleased with my room. Very comfortable and spacious. The pice was very reasonable as well. Great location to explore Woodfield Mall and a various amounts of places to eat. I highly recommend this place.
- 3/5
The hotel was fine, the breakfast was average and the room was nice although there was several sticky spots on the carpet, so that our slippers were sticking. The fitness center had a peloton, which was great. The suite was nice, but why was the coat closet all the way in the back? We would be standing by the door and then realizing coats were all the way at the other end of the room. Kinda odd.
- 4/5
Had a good time. Loud neighbors
- 1/5
DO NOT STAY AT THIS FACILITY UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY EXTRA FOR A ROOM UP CHARGE THAT YOU DO NOT ASK FOR. I GUESS THIS IS HOW HOTELS MAKE MONEY THESE DAYS!!!
- 1/5
DO NOT STAY HERE THEY WILL UPGRADE YOUR ROOM WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT AND YOU ARE STUCK WITH THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Very nice.

We traveled to Schaumburg to go to Medieval Times with a group of 7 people. We had 3 rooms one room smelled like dog pee. Second room smelled like someone had just smoked a whole pack of cigarettes. The third room actually smelled clean. The rooms over all where clean it was just the smell of the two rooms. We did bring it to the attention of the front desk she said that she would let the manager know and they would reach out later that afternoon. Next day and still have not heard from the manager.
- 5/5
Clean
- 2/5
We booked a room that was wheel chair accessible, but when we checked into the room, neither the shower or the sink were wheel chair accessible. The desk worker was unable to accommodate us with a room that suited our needs. This made the stay there a little difficult but we managed. It was too late to try and search for another room at a different location, as we had plans for the evening.
- 3/5
Breakfast was below average and front desk staff wasn't very helpful! Just an average Hilton to be honest
- 2/5
Called for room service at 6:30am and they never came.
- 4/5
Staff is friendly and attentive but the room was a bit run down and dated.
- 5/5
Never stayed here before was surprised room was large lots of counter space. Close to restaurants and shopping
- 5/5
We liked how close it was to Lego Discovery Center and restaurants.
- 2/5
Was put in a dirty non cleaned room. Was moved to a clean room after 30 min wait. Breakfast was good pool was small
- 4/5

Room was clean, beds were really comfortable! Everything about our hotel stay was fabulous. Only complaint id have is the pool was a little cold
- 1/5
Room was dirty
- 1/5
Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
The room was, bed was okay. Breakfast was very lack luster. Not much too choose from and what was there look dried out. Didn't have any milk, apple or orange juice. They had hot and cold water and coffee. Also not much in the way of baking or breads.
- 4/5
Very spacious clean room for family and I would have rated excellent if the bathroom locks were working.
- 4/5
Very nice place to stay. Morning breakfast was nice, but the set up is quite cumbersome and keeping utensils and plates available seemed to be an issue later in the service. If you go, go early.
- 1/5
I called the hotel prior to booking to ensure that they had wheelchair accessible rooms available. The rep assured me that they could accommodate guest with wheelchairs. When we arrived the representative who checked us in mixed my room up with another guest and left me in a room that I could not fully access. No grab bars and a shower I could not use. This was not a great experience at all. I tried to explain this to the manager and he was very rude and stated that he would contact the general manager. The customer service was poor and my experience was also poor. I am a Hilton rewards member and I am considering never using Hilton again.
- 5/5
We were very happy with our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast and unlimited coffee. The rooms were clean and had a well equipped kitchenette
- 4/5
One elevator. The smell of the room was really stale. Needed candle.
- 2/5
First off I was traveling with 4 teenagers. I called the hotel asking for adjoining rooms I was assured that was would be available. I messaged through Expedia double checking on the adjoining rooms have the screen shots saying no problem we have it makes on your reservation. Check in no adjoining rooms my teenagers had to be across the hall. I hardly slept because of loud people next door and above us. On to breakfast it was sad lumpy waffle mix and as for the other hot breakfast foods that was a joke soggy under cooked hash browns, cold sausage and mini omelette all in the same warmer. It was nasty. I have stayed in a home 2 before and had a wonderful experience this was definitely one of the worst hotels I have stayed in.
- 3/5

- 5/5
All good !
- 5/5
The front desk staff is always kind and helpful, especially Danielle! Hotel is very near to the hughways that you can take to head in any direction, including downtown Chicago! The rooms are spacious and feature full-size fridge and dishwasher. There is a lot of counter space as well so you'll have ample room to set up a workspace if necessary. Really, about the omly negative thing i can say is thag i think the bathroom needs some sort of ventilation/fan to suck pit some pf the steam? The showers are spacious and feature sliding glass doors (so much better than shower curtains) and the water pressure is perfect (and adjustable). Price point is usually cheaper than some area hotels that arent as nice! Highly recommend this property! (They also have a smaller indoor pool but i have never used it; it tends to get busy as there always seems to be a fair amount of families staying whenever I am there.)

Old and dirty
- 5/5
Very nice place with great breakfast
- 1/5
Had to stand around and look for staff for 5-10mins until a cleaning guy came into work and find me a staff to help me check in. Check in is at 3:00pm got there after 4:00pm went to room by 4:30pm. Room was not ready, bed wasn’t fixed (horrible) After a long drive and hassle with all the check in and room wasn’t being ready and waiting until room was ready, decided to just rest and to find out bed and sheets wasn’t clean, probably old sheets and wasn’t washed. On top of that in the morning, woke up to use bathroom, open the drawer in the bathroom and found a DIRTY wet/slimmy you don’t want know EWWWWW. Went down and told the front desk about everything before we left for our adventure in Chicago. Came back that night and yet still find that nasty towel with you know what still haven’t been cleaned or removed. But, since it was our last night there, I didn’t bother complaining and just rest up before our adventure home. So, yes this place sucks with cleaning up. I would never go back to this hotel again.
- 5/5
Stayed for a bridal shower nearby. The location was easy to find and you cannot beat all of the nearby options for shopping, entertainment and dining.
- 5/5
Great value for the price. Lots of space in rooms. Good options for breakfast.

There are business and haven’t tslept in two day. Kids running back and forth in their room until almost 11 every night

Stayed here for just only two nights, very quiet. My family enjoyed.
- 1/5
We chose this hotel because of the kitchenette option but it was a mistake. No room cleaning Tuesday to Saturday, we rook out our own trash. The room was dirty, having stains on everything and a smelly carpet. Very old dusty ac unit where filters were never changed. We had acute allergy with hospitalization for the 2yo baby because of the dog smell of the old carpet in the room. Everything is pretty dated. Dry clean came back as dirty as we gave it but nicely folded. Area around the hotel offers parking all around with no place to run safely for the kids. Larger area offers a few nice dining and breakfast options and proximity to mall.
- 5/5
Los de recepción fueron muy amables y los desayunos delicioso
- 5/5
Thank you
- 4/5
There was NO Sign to tell where the front entrance was
- 5/5
Love the free breakfast and the kitchen in the room,, ac is cool, clean rooms and very walkable to restaurants
- 5/5
The pillows and bed put me right to sleep and kept me in a deep sleep for a solid 7 hours. Nice fire pit on patio and included breakfast was a plus. One more plus...12 checkout time.
- 5/5
Though it’s far away from the places that we planned to visit due to the long drive (Chicago Traffic), my overall staying in this Hotel is great. Friendly staff, very safe and quiet, easy to go to the nearby restaurants and the room is having all the necessary equipment that any family members need
- 3/5
Twice the housekeeping staff knocked on our door on the day of our check out. It seemed odd that the housekeeping staff didn't know that we were checking out that day?? Lack of staff communication. There is no door hang to say quiet or clean.
- 5/5
The breakfast was flavorful and always filled, room was nice and chilly to our liking, and the bathroom conditioner smelled great! Could use less a different shower head, but all in all a great stay.
- 5/5
Great hotel and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Free breakfast is a nice plus, but it could use some variety. It gets boring after the first two days. The staff was very helpful and professional.
- 5/5
Todo muy bien me encantó su servicio muy amables
- 3/5
It was clean but bathroom door wouldn’t lock and it looks like rooms could use some updating!
- 5/5
Rooms were big and very clean. Hotel is also very nice, breakfast was 10/10
- 2/5
If you want a good night’s sleep you might not get it here. The beds are very stiff and the pillows are not supportive enough. My kids were cold with the thin blankets and the neighbors above us just walking was loud. They also had little kids that were jumping off the bed the entire time. I wouldn’t stay here again if I got a free stay. Sleep is so important when you’re on the road and now I’ll be driving home exhausted with a sore back.
- 4/5
Convenient area surrounded by many dining and shopping options. Will visit again if in the area.
- 5/5
Great for families
- 5/5
Clean and very helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
It’s a very nice place and very clean
- 1/5
Hotel staff non cooperating. The rate they charge is comparable to the nearby embassy suites and that's far better..
- 5/5
Great location, fantastic service, and clean rooms definitely staying here again
- 4/5
The pools at all 4 Home2 suites we’ve stayed at are always way too cold to enjoy. The rooms are nice and we love the mini kitchens available. The beds are getting a little worn and indented at the Schaumburg location
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
The room isn’t really any larger than a normal hotel room, but I could imagine it being pretty livable for a long-term stay since there was lots of storage and a decent kitchen. (You have to ask for a portable stove range and pots though.) I liked that there was a curtain to block off the bed and sitting areas. I’m not usually a fan of American hotel breakfasts since they’ve usually got just the lowest-quality, premade items that pop up at every hotel. However, this breakfast was above-average. They were savvy enough to have 2 waffle makers since that’s where the lines usually are, and they had some things like omelets and hashbrowns that are less common on such buffets and that actually tasted pretty good though they were premade. I still wish they had higher quality breads and more cereals. (All the cereals were sweet with Honey Nut Cheerios being labeled as the “healthy” option instead of providing plain Cheerios.) The physical breakfast space was a bit chaotic. Not enough seating, and the plates and cutlery were hidden away in cabinets. The breakfast lady was clearly fed up with having to tell people where things were though the cabinets often weren’t stocked once you found them. Pool was nice, and there were outdoor spaces with grills and a fire pit.
- 3/5
Room walls too thin we could hear neighbors conversations. Breakfast ok. Prices too high for what is offered.
- 5/5
Excellent stay! Loved it!
- 4/5
Great location for our activities
- 3/5
There was a family traveling with pets across the hall from us. They left the dogs alone for at least 5 hours Friday night. They were barking until 11pm. We called and even went down to the front desk to advise. Nothing happened. On Saturday morning the family left around 730am and the dogs started up again. We went to the front desk to advise again. They said they would check it out. However we went back to our room after breakfast and the family had left them alone again or they were still barking. We’ve stayed at this property several times and was very disappointed with the lack of caring.
