Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests praising the friendly staff, good location, and comfortable beds. However, cleanliness was a major concern with multiple guests reporting unclean rooms, bed bugs, and mold in the ice machine. Noise was also an issue with guests complaining about loud neighbors and thin walls.

Hospitality is not great and very stinky. Not allocated room for long while checkin time is 3pm. Overall quite terrible experience. I won't recommend this place.

Your basically paying for the location if Schaumburg is where you plan to be... room are old and smell old, hallways as well. Staff was not very helpful with assistance I needed.
- 2/5
It was an okay stay. First floor restroom was very unclean (dirty towels, toilet paper, paper towels on floor) mentioned to staff which didn't seem too concerned. Lack of towels for swimming available, even after asking for more. Staff was nice, just seems to be struggling with basic maintenance there, like wallpaper coming off walls, bathroom door handle broken, generally just messy. Perhaps they were just low on staff and short on maintenance people and doing the best they can. Breakfast was good, room was nice.

I reserved a high floor room. They gave me a third floor. Entering tge room, the AC doesn't work, the faucet is dripping and the house phone doesn't work. We stayed in a smelly and humid room. We could not sleep. Hotel said it was the last room, so be it.

It was nice staff was friendly really my 1 complaint was we asked for the room to be cleaned and were told they are set days for housecleaning. Ok that’s ok and all but if a customer requests it, it should get done & we asked for clean towels it took forever

I wish there was a shower in the pool area to rinse off instead of rinsing in the room before going down.

I like the breakfast bar. It has more variety than other places. The staff were kind. I wish there was a shower in the pool area to rinse off instead of rinsing in the room before going down.

Staff was very helpful, especially Isabella with the whereabouts of the hotel(food, places to visit). She was very kind and i had a nice time talking to her! Tasty breakfast first day had partially hot water but it got fixed during the stay

The complimentary breakfast was the highlight of our stay. The staff member managing the breakfast area did an excellent job keeping everything stocked and fresh, constantly refilling items as needed. The dining area was consistently clean and well maintained throughout the morning. Overall, it was a very pleasant breakfast experience. The room was unfortunately not as clean as advertised. The bathroom mirror was visibly smudged, as if it had been wiped with a dirty rag, and the body wash dispenser was empty upon arrival. The toilet clogged after the first use and overflowed, and instead of resolving the issue themselves, staff only brought us a plunger and expected us to handle it. We ended up having to purchase our own disinfectant spray and cleaning supplies to sanitize the area ourselves. In addition, the desk, side tables, TV, and drawers were covered in dust, making it clear they had not been properly wiped down in quite some time. One of the bedsheets had a yellow stain, which was very unpleasant to see, and the pull-out bed also had dirty sheets. Thankfully, we had brought our own pillows and blankets with us on the road, so we were able to use those instead, which made the situation a little more manageable. Overall, it did not feel like the room had been thoroughly cleaned or sanitized before our stay. The level of cleanliness and upkeep was very disappointing.

The room was horribly dirty. Including the bathroom and kitchen towels. The carpet was disgusting and their was hair all over. Kutchen sink was leaking. Ants on the floor where we were sitting for breakfast. Most of the tables were dirty at breakfast where we needed to sit and eat. Broken counter/toilet paper holder in the bathroom. No towels at the pool even when no one was there. No omelet station like widely advertised.

I enjoyed breakfast every morning But most of all i enjoyed the Employees, and how attentive the staff was to my needs. Every issue that I had they gave it immediate attention and were very professional and followed up in a timely manner. They were very accommodating to my needs and the changes associated with my travel and plans. Isabella was amazing, While the hotel had a hot water issue (boiler pump pert failed) it was not the fault of anyone, they worked efficiently to get it resolved, maintenance responded within 3 mins of me alerting them, he returned told me what the issue was, the front desk informed me they alerted the manager and he would call me when he got in at 9:30, he called me at 9;45, informed me of the plan to resolve the issue, when i returned they informed me they had a temporary fix, the manager personally called again to confirm all was well the next day, offered consolation, which was unnecessary, but the staff was absolutely amazing, and through all of the rude customers and guests they really maintained a high level of professionalism and decor. Carl Anthony I didn't like the way the staff was treated during my stay there. People should understand that things happen beyond our control and be considerate of the fact.

We stay here regularly because of the location & cleanliness. Also, there's a pool & fitness center. I didn't like that we couldn't use the pool due to too many kids playing around obnoxiously. Jumping, diving, screaming & there were no available chairs. We waited in the fitness area & my husband used it, but they weren't about to leave soon so we left. I think there should be a cut off time for kids & adults can have the last 2 hours. Many places do it especially if there's a hot tub.

The staff excellent. But the breakfast was so basic, except the omelette bar. Our room was not very clean, the beds were small, and the hotel has a weird smell. The whole place needs a facelift/updates

For the past three years now, I bring my child here to swim for his birthday; upon arriving this time the hotel decided to BUMP the room that I PAID IN FULL for, and gave it to white corporate people with no contact to me AT ALL. I was only told once I arrived to the location even though yes I paid in full the only option was to stay at a “sister location” WITH NO POOL BUT I could walk four minutes with kids in the cold to get to a pool, which is a big inconvenience. I feel like it’s 100% unfair to cancel someone’s room without contacting them once they’ve paid in full. I don’t care who’s staying at the hotel. The front desk staff, the guy who stayed until 11 PM. Last night was a terrible host. We couldn’t even receive towels to get out of the pool nor did we have towels in the room to wash up with and he refused to give us towels, he literally gave me one wash up towel. Stating that after 4 1/2 hours, that was the only tile they had clean.

The breakfast was adequate for the price. It was hot and re-filled quickly. The coffee was good and they had a good assortment of breads and cereals. I would definitely refer this hotel to friends and family. They phones were not connected for use. The front desk person stated they had just acquired the property from a former owner, and they had not set up the phones yet. Also, when we first checked in, out room had a foul odor, (like dirty mop water). I informed the front desk and they sent a housekeeper to the room who stated, she did not smell anything and left a small can of air freshener, which helped but did not solve the problem. I didn't want to change rooms because my elderly mother was in the next room and no other rooms in close proximity were available. Also, the shower in my room would not get hot. It went from room temperature to cold. This was very disappointing. While the decor was nice, I wished they focused more on the details that mattered.

The breakfast was okay My room wasn’t cleaned well. The next morning I asked housekeeping for cleaning supplies so I could do it myself. The pool area was closed my first night due to water issues. I visited the pool the following day and the pool area was very cold which made it uncomfortable to enjoy. The jacuzzi was not working as well.

Location was nice. I felt safe. Very clean. This would have been a 100%, but it was only 99% due to the fact that the shower was not hot. It was lukewarm at best. Such a big disappointment, people like to have hot showers. The shower was nowhere near hot. That would be the only reason why I would not rent a room again, but everything else was amazing. Please get the hot water working in your showers. You would hit it out the park if you did that.

Needed to switch rooms 2x due to issues, experienced luke warm showers 2 out of 4 nights, broken elevator, wet carpet from an AC leak and one room w/o a thermostat. I have stayed here half a dozen times and was quite happy. I am hoping this week was a fluke.

Location was good. The breakfast was awful, floaties in the beverages for the mornings. The room was terribly updated. The AC unit kept turning on without prompt (even in the middle of the night). The phone in the room didn’t work. The shower sliding door would not stay closed. There was no cover of the light fixture. The room was not cleaned properly. The second room we were moved to had bathtubs but no drain stops.
- 2/5
Stayed 2 nights. The first night we only had hot water for 20 minutes and the second day no hot water When asked for compensation I was told to reach out to Booking.com.
- 3/5
Pool wasn’t clean. Breakfast is good. Rooms are big but weird smell was coming out in the room.
- 4/5
Room was very quiet which we appreciated due to having to catch an early flight the next morning. The layout was great for our family and we had enough room.
- 4/5
The staff was good. The lobby was in good condition, but the rest of the property was a bit run down. Our room, 315, was good as we got the 2-room suite. We had running hot water it took a while to get hot. That was my biggest concern based on the other negative reviews. The room on the left, standing in the kitchen looking into the living room, had no issue getting hot water but it took a few minutes. The room on the right had issue where you need to turn the shower knob between the 2 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions to get hot water. Don't turn it all-the-way clockwise until it hits the stop or else you'll get a barely warm water temperature. This is more of a shower valve installation issue. The shower off position was different between the rooms. My guess is that is the same case with the other rooms where other people stayed and complained about having no hot water. Overall, it was a good stay as the hotel was close to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was okay for needs, as a typical continental style breakfast.

Antonio Very displeased with this hotel. Breakfast wasn’t good very chewy and cold. Hot doest work bar is not even open. Bathrooms were still dirty as well as the pool area smells bad and water is very dirty and stinky and algae lile the kids were crying .

The location and the breakfast is good. The cleanliness was non existent, outdated or broken items in the room, hot tub broken, and pool cold and lacking towels.

I’m super disappointed in our stay. We paid for a 2 bedroom suite to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We had no hot water at all for showers. Completely ridiculous. The pool was SUPER cloudy with hair floating all around it. After the pool we attempted to take a warm shower for my toddler (cause there was no tub for kids) and she was shivering the whole time, due to us having no hot water. Completely ridiculous. At breakfast, we asked for a pitcher of water refilled and it straight up looked like milk. We had to ask for it to be dumped because it looked sickening. Everyone around us was also grossed out. Pictures were deceiving for this place, forsure.

Below average. Smells of smoke all around in common areas. Room was smelling when I entered.l had to change rooms twice after room cleaning issues. They did not do any housekeeping on my room. This is worse than Motel 6. And they call it Hyatt quality. Hyatt must remove their name. They are misleading Hyatt name and targeting us customers. And then it is thrash. Arrogant front desk man clerk. Lady clerk tried to out me in a studio room even though I Khadija asked for 1 bedroom and paid for the same. Looks like a weekly motel. This is not a hotel. They should charges $250 for week. Breakfast was below average. Said omlette station. Nothing like that .

Our thermostat buttons were stuck and had a hard time to get the room warm

Non smoking hotel but watched people smoking in their rooms with the door open. Also smelt like pot and swampy feet. Had to go bye air fresheners just to be able to be in our room. TV didn’t work. Old food in the kitchen cabinets. Shower door didn’t close and no fan in bathroom made it smell musty. Also water damage to ceiling, floor, and around window with mold on the window shade.
- 1/5
Microwave was very unclean and the hotel does it look like the pictures much
- 1/5
The room looked very dingy. My closet door was off the hinges, I had to clean with my own wipes the dirty areas and it was just very underwhelming. I was going to force myself to stay another night but I couldn’t. The breakfast was very sad. There’s an omelette station advertised but the paper was turned for the hours. I was expecting a better breakfast like shown in the pictures. There was also unprofessional attire for the maintenance associates. I don’t believe that a Beer shirt is company attire for a “nice” hotel. This really turned me off from staying in Schaumburg, it’s gotten run down over the years and I do not plan on staying after this last trip.
- 2/5
Well I give it the 2 stars fo Paulina and Alice! They are amazing. Sadly l, nothing else went right from the non existent hot water and no heat or television or latching front door etc. lest we even discuss the smell of the facility.

There was no hot water for the 3 nights we stayed for an athletic competition. They would “reset it” often which would result in just shy of ice cold water for 5 mins. The toilet ran all night in our room. We ran out of toilet paper. The hot tub pump was also broken and the water was brown- several kids were swimming in it and subsequently got ill. The compensation we got refunded for the stay was 30%… do not stay here. Ever.
- 1/5
We stayed 3 nights(it was prepaid and non refundable as well as a very busy weekend otherwise I would have left the first night!), we had absolutely no hot water until our third night. That meant that our athletes were unable to shower after a full day of cheer. The hot tub was brown tinted because it wasn’t working properly. They ran out of towels and we had children in the pool. They said sorry we don’t have any because we are fully booked. The front desk lady eventually brought us hand towels to try and dry them off. The place is filthy and outdated. They said they would move us the first night and that turned into us getting a room that had hot water just to shower in but that never happened. They kept trying to say it was only a couple rooms affected but we were there with a cheer team and none had hot water along with other hotel guests we talked to. The front desk lady was the only one that admitted to all the problems and tried to help the best she could but I will NEVER stay at another Hyatt. It is a health violation to not have hot water, there is no way their linens are being properly washed then either.
- 3/5
There was no hot water during the entirety of our stay. When I called the front desk to inquire, the receptionist was quick to dismiss it and to get off the phone. When I spoke with a manager he was very kind and comped part of our stay for the inconvenience.

We’ve stayed here 3 other times and no issues. This time there was a host of issues - no hot water, hot tub not working, TV not working, room phone didn’t work, hotel personnel didn’t seem to want to hear about the issues or do anything about it. We had no hot water in our suite for 2 days. Maintenance team said to let the water run for 30 minutes and it’ll warmup. Who lets the water run that long???? They finally moved us to a new suite, where the TV in one of the rooms didn’t work. We lost hot water Thursday night and we checked out on Friday (ice cold water on Friday even with letting the water run for 15 minutes). They told us the part to fix the hot tub would be in Monday and it would be fixed. We went down Tuesday night and still not working. We asked Wednesday night if it was fixed and still not fixed.
- 1/5
The rooms are extremely outdated, with old televisions, air conditioners, and worn furniture. I booked a two-bedroom suite, and one of the bedroom bathrooms did not have hot water. The kitchen sink had a very strong, unpleasant odor—we spent hours rinsing it, but the smell persisted. The utensils were not properly cleaned, which was unacceptable. Additionally, the carpet was stained and visibly dirty. Overall, the condition of the suite did not meet basic cleanliness or comfort expectations.

Breakfast was okay. Great coffee, but thats about it. Will not be staying here again. Not for what i paid. My room didnt even look closely like for the room that i paid for.

Had to change rooms due to a lack of hot water. The "new" room had the same issue. Also, fixtures in the first room were broken.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing & the room was ver clean. My only complaint was that the pool area was very very cold. Other than that my stay was great.
- 2/5
The building overall seemed dirty and ill cared for.
- 4/5
Unfortunately, we had no hot water in our room throughout our stay. The showers remained cold despite running the water for a long time, and by the third morning the "hot" water felt icy. At that point we reported the issue to the front desk, and they did take action, but the problem wasn’t resolved before we checked out. Location is 22 min from O'Hare, Uber estimate was $50 early morning.
- 2/5
Room was mostly clean. Noticed a collection of nail clippings in the floor right up against the bottom of the bed. Asked that it be cleaned only to be told that housekeeping staff was gone for the day. This was at 5:40 PM on a Friday night. Ended up throwing a towel over the clippings so we didn’t have to look at them. Were told no other rooms were available. Later that night we unfolded the couch bed and pulled extra linens out of the closet. The white blanket that was provided had a brown rusty stain on it that looked similar to blood. Requested 2 new blankets from the front desk. Had to wait on hold while the front desk staff checked to see if there were any blankets available. Not sure what we would have done if the answer was no. We were told that yes there were blankets and that we had to go down to the front desk to get them. Overall just kind of a subpar experience. Remember you always get just what you paid for which in this economy sucks.

The pool area was disgusting. There were ants crawling around near the jacuzzi. And the jacuzzi was lukewarm with only a few working jets. My room also had no hot water in both the shower and sink in the bathroom. I had previously enjoyed a stay here but was disappointed this time, as I brought family with me this time, I will not be returning.
- 3/5
It was not bad - but the facility could use a little love. No accessible wall outlets - they had been covered up? Hot water was scarce. Night stands were turned a way for them not to be useable. Asked for a plunger - was told there was only one and it was in use. Bed and pillows were not great. But everyone was friendly - so it's hard to really get mad about it. It did the trick.

When we arrived the room they gave us had a machine in it. Then they removed the machine and claimed to have deep cleaned it. We went back to the room and it had a strong mildew smell when we opened the door and the carpet was soaked. Went back to front desk then they moved us. Better smelling room but toilet overflowed and the ceiling was leaking in one of the bathrooms. The people at the front desk were never there. I waited almost 15 mins for someone to come to the desk. My key stopped working and was out of my room for that long time. The people upstairs were very loud and sounded like kids running around all night. I had a bad stay.
- 2/5
The property is really old. I would have paid a lil more for a more modern property. I didn’t realize it until it was too late. It’s clean and you can tell they give effort to maintain it but I wouldn’t stay again.
- 4/5
The hotel rooms could use some upgrade, Tv did not work very well, crappy picture.
- 4/5
The hotel is clean and quiet and the facilities are well kept. Breakfast and service also good
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Pool was clean. Breakfast was good variety. Had no issues during my stay.
- 2/5
There was no warm/hot water during our stay. When brought to staff attention the response was that there was nothing they could do about it. This made showering difficult and uncomfortable for adults and children especially being there during a sports event.
- 4/5
I liked having a full kitchen in the room
- 3/5
Usually I always stay at the Hyatt hotels because I always have really good experiences. This time it was different. First of all my room was near the lobby and there were people having a reunion with many children that were noisy. Second of all, the bathroom in my room was never cleaned after the last costumer. I knew this because there was piss on the toilet seat, hair on the floor, toothpicks in the sink, garbage in the trashcan, and the carpet smelled weird. I bought this up immediately and they cleaned it up. Breakfast was good and the free coffee was too.
- 1/5
Also, the food service was quite disappointing. There weren’t many options available, and the service was very slow. For example, at the waffle station, it took more than 15 minutes just to get one item, which was quite frustrating. Overall, I didn’t really enjoy the stay due to these issues. I hope the management can take this as constructive feedback and make improvements for future guests.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent. The hotel was very clean. The pool area in the hot tub area was excellent with great views of the sky all around very happy with this day. We’ll be back again thank you so much.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 1/5
The toilet was leaking and it felt as though everything was falling apart. The breakfast and service was great but unfortunately the cleanliness and all was not.
- 5/5
Fresh fruit. Oatmeal. Nuts. Yoquart and freshly made omelette. Clean room. Excellent customer service. Great check in. Hot coffee in the Lobby all day.
- 5/5
Parking was convenient, located close to restaurants, mall and highways. Clean facility and friendly staff.
- 1/5
I'm really disappointed. The check-out is 12 o'clock, but I didn't check-out, but the hotel cleaned it in advance and took up the cleaning fee. Romm was smell so bad.The water in the pool was dirty and there was no bathroom. Home appliances were not working, and ice machines were not on every floor and it was hard to find. If you ask me to pay for cleaning fee, I will talk to the headquarters. Never go back again!
- 1/5
Terrible
- 3/5
We never received a cleaning the entire 5 days we were there, they did come and take all of our towels leaving us none in there place. Floors were filthy, couch had many stains and a smell that never went away. Breakfast was supposed to go till 10am but was broken down ahead of time with nothing offered. Other than being in Schaumburg close to everything this is not anything like any other Hyatt I’ve ever stayed. I guess that’s the difference when you allow franchise partners.
- 2/5
No hot water, poor breakfast, bar present but never staffed. Never staying there again. Left one night early with no refund.
- 3/5
Fine
- 3/5
Property and staff were great! We just had an issue with someone knocking at our door at 11pm at night aggressively and then running off.
- 2/5
Bed was very uncomfortable causing back pain and hardly any sleep. Bathroom ceiling had a leak that was dripping. No bathroom fan. The shower didn't have much hot water. TV screen had a blue tint to it. Breakfast was very crowded and the food wasn't great. Coffee was always empty. Not a great experience.
- 1/5
The first room we went to was horrible room 617 it smelt like death they stated they were going to come clean it and never did. They then switched us to room 531 had us go to the room with our belongings and they will meet us there. 42min later they never came and we couldn't find the receptionist. Finally found her 42min later smoking outside with other guest
- 3/5
Quick check-in, little old and dirty in room, water would not warm up on shower
- 2/5
Run-down hotel. Not very clean. Very few cable channels, no streaming options.
- 5/5
It has been a while since i actually enjoy my stay in a Chicago hotel close to the airport. Me and my kids loved the place, everybody was so nice, they had fresh brewed coffee ALL DAY, my kids loved the breakfast, and it was pet friendly, even staff petted my dogs. Loved how quiet it was.
- 1/5
Our room smelled overwhelmingly of cat urine. We had the staff come and smell it. They tried to cover it up with disinfectant spray. They then moved us from our 2 bedroom room to two single rooms on opposite ends of the hallway when we requested connecting rooms. We were promised we would get a two bedroom room the next day. We went to the front desk in the morning. They put us back in the room with the odor and said they would have someone shampoo the carpet. We ended up with a smelly room that had a soggy carpet. For our inconveniences, they gave us a $5 voucher for what they pathetically called a market. I felt insulted and mistreated as a customer. I would never stay here again!
- 3/5
Only thing was room was not cleaned for 4 days. Even after request the room's trash was not taken out.
- 4/5
Wish the sauna had been working, though
- 5/5
Great co worker
- 3/5
We have been coming here for several years and this last stay wasn't as great as our other times. We came for my daughter's 7th bday & booked a 2br. At the time we checked in (6pm) the front desk had to check to see if our room was ready. We went to the pool later that evening & the chlorine level in the pool was unbearable. My kids & I eyes were burning to where we & another family had to leave the pool area. The hot water in one of the bathrooms didn't get very hot & in the other bathroom, the hot water took forever to get hot. Then the next day we found a ridiculous amount of ants in our pizza box in the room. Also, if I book a room for 6ppl to stay in why on Earth would you provide only 3 washcloths. All these are minor issues that won't deter me from booking again but they do need to be addressed. last but not least, the morning desk person (African American woman) on 10/13/25 seem to couldn't careless about me mentioning the ants in our room.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly. Nice rooms. Breakfast was good too. Definitely recommend

- 5/5
The Staffs are so helpful when we were enjoying breakfast at the lobby. Also when I need a clean bags for my laundry and need little fix for our broken luggage. We even asked for extra clean towels and some toilet paper.
- 2/5
The room was musty and smelled like dirty feet. The refrigerator was so loud we thought it was a vacuum running in the hallway.
- 4/5
The area is safe, parking was easy and free, the free breakfast was delicious and the ladies running that area were wonderful. The lobby and common area looked renovated, clean and fresh. I only wish the actual hotel rooms looked and felt the same. The room we were in was outdated - especially the lighting and carpeting. I wish the room would've had a luggage rack, laundry bags, a bathroom exhaust fan, a full length mirror, a more comfy bed and a TV that swivels between the bed and the couch. Our overall experience was great and we'd definitely return if/when the hotel rooms get an update.
- 5/5
Good breakfast, awesome staff, very hospitable.
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and accommodating. Hotel offered a lot of options (ex: breakfast, pool, sauna) and was located by a lot shops and restaurants
- 3/5
Picture was barely hanging on in bathroom, algae on side of hot tub, too many chemicals in pool/hot tub and eyes were burning from just sitting in it. Paint is old in rooms and dated. No towels in pool area after going multiple times. Had to ask front desk for towels, said shed come fill the cabinet and put in 2 for us and then 2 other ones. Not many good choices for breakfast.
- 5/5
Everyone at the check in/out desk were especially helpful. The custodian was very kind. Alice at the breakfast lounge was fun to converse with. It’s close by so many restaurants and a walkable distance to a large Korean grocery store and WoodfieldMall. The bed needs updating. It was kinda sunken in the middle. I'd definitely book it here again when I'm in Illinois again.
- 3/5
Pool area was dirty.
- 3/5
Custom omelettes at breakfast were a nice touch. Fitness center was pretty filthy (see photos) Refrigerator was very loud.
- 5/5
Friendly customer service at all times in all areas
- 4/5
The internet was very weak in the room and kept going out when using it. Had to go to lobby area to get a good reception.
- 5/5
Very nice staff. Very helpful
- 1/5
Hotel is rundown, very bad condition throughout, upon arrival they canceled my reservation as I checked in at 4am due to driving overnight, that’s after I called and made sure they wouldn’t cancel my reservation, they finally figured it out, room was musty, old, beds were hard, bathroom had mold carpets dirty tile cracked, screens torn on windows, ac unit in hallway made noise all night, worst stay I’ve had in Chicago, parking lot is a piece of crap loose concrete asphalt - this place is just old, rundown and owners need to be cheap and invest in this hotel, $550+ for 3 nights I wouldn’t pay $50/night after seeing the condition. Do your self a favor and do not book here
- 4/5
Nice hotel
- 2/5
TV was not working, had to call the front desk right away. Do not think I would choose this place again
- 1/5
Unfortunately, the response I received from the general manager was dismissive and unprofessional. He appeared unconcerned about the seriousness of the situation and acted as though we were not being truthful. The general manager stated that he reviewed the security cameras but claimed he could not see the individual who entered my room. Rather than addressing the matter further, he left the building for the day, leaving his staff member to manage the situation. She was unprepared and unable to provide adequate assistance in handling this serious security issue. Given the severity of this breach, I also contacted the Schaumburg Police Department and filed an official report for my family’s safety and protection. The following morning, I attempted to follow up with the general manager, but he did not report to work. As a result, the matter remains unresolved, and I am deeply concerned about both the security of your property and the lack of accountability demonstrated by management.
- 2/5
Check-In was seamless, but our room had a strange humidity and malfunctioning lights. We asked for house cleaning but had to be in a wait-list. Would say this hotel is very understaffed, avoid.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly
- 5/5
Nice hotel in a nice area
- 4/5
We got there right at check in and the room wasn’t ready. Had to come back in an hour. Then when we finally got our room. We had dirty diapers in the corner of one of the rooms. Why would you even throw diapers over there? Other than those two problems, the place was nice.
- 3/5
I checked in and went about the day. When i went through the room to check everything, the garbage under the sink had not been removed from the previous stay. I reported it to the front desk upon going out for the day. When i returned I checked and it was still there. Housekeeping was supposedly notified but they still did not remove it. I was not pleased with that at all.
- 5/5
Very clean and the staff is Super nice!
- 5/5
I want to say a huge thank you to the entire team — you are truly amazing! The atmosphere here is so special because every staff member is genuinely kind, attentive, and caring. A special shoutout to the lovely woman in the kitchen who makes the omelets — not only are the breakfasts delicious, but you can feel how much she truly loves children. It’s so touching and heartwarming to see that kind of kindness early in the morning. The receptionists are absolute stars! Always ready to help, explain things, assist with anything, and they do it all with a smile and such a warm, positive attitude. The man who takes care of the laundry and garbage is also incredibly polite and pleasant — you can see how much pride he takes in his work, and that deserves so much respect. And of course, the amazing housekeeping ladies who take care of the rooms and keep the entire hotel spotless — you are incredible! I feel so much warmth, comfort, and genuine care here. Thank you for that! I love this hotel with all my heart and will definitely keep coming back.

Great Stay
- 5/5
Staff super nice very clean everything worked
- 5/5
Everything was great check in staff was awesome ❤️
- 1/5
The hot tub was broken. The underwater light fixture came out, and amd was laying on the bottom. It had an exposed cord rubbing against the sharp edge of the housing...BUT THE TUB WAS STILL OPEN! WITH CHILDREN IN IT! The pool area had no towels, no outlets in the room for charging, the volume was inop on the tv, dirty trash with medical waste from previous guests, toilet seat broken and not even attached, body wash container empty, no bedding or pillows for fold out bed, and finally, dried blood on the sink next to the toilet. Clearly they have housekeeping, because we got a knock on door the door at 9:14am, wanting to service our room. Check out was 11am, and we had the DO NOT DISTURB tag on the handle. Horrible for a Hyatt branded hotel.
- 2/5
Property did not felt like hyatt it was all worn out and bad the beds were terrible.
- 5/5
The stay was very pleasant. Very quiet and comfortable. Bed was really nice. The breakfast was great. I would love to go back soon.
- 5/5
Love it
- 2/5
Pretty sure we got food poisoning from the breakfast bar on our fifth day there. Shower drain kept clogging up. Bedrooms were so small that you couldn’t open the doors fully. Toilet was so low to the ground that I had to overnight a toilet seat riser to accommodate a senior’s needs.
- 3/5
A few things in pool area not working…
- 5/5
Great stay as always
- 3/5
Wasn’t as nice as I thought it would be. Very plain. Needs a lot of updating. It is clean though.
- 1/5
the bed was so uncomfortable and the breakfast was bad
- 5/5
Needs updated, poor maintenance of rooms, paint, carpet all were wore or not maintain.
- 4/5
This property was good only problem was it said there was car charging ports but wasn’t not the hotel fault more like the apps fault for saying something there and it’s not
- 3/5
My toilet was overflowing had to change rooms cuz there was no plunger to be found and no Maintence person at 8pm at night. The new room was clearly not ready for guests. But they were fully booked. At least the toilet worked. For a Hyatt and the cost it should have been better. Pics make it look nice and it was no better then Motel 6. The only thing that was wonderful was the staff and esp Anita. She was amazing!!!!!! She worked her butt of for us customers and she made me feel at ease with the toilet problem it was like having a best friend 1000 miles from home. He has a good energy and vibes and it made staying there bearable. Also the bar was never opened once in my 3 day stay. And it was a weekend! Disappointing!
- 4/5
It’s a nice hotel for a quick stay. It definitely has been updated, so looks ok.
- 3/5
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Light fixture in room was missing a cover and had exposed wires. No TV/Cable working. Very loud. Could hear people in other rooms and from outside. Made hard to sleep at times.
- 3/5
Unable to use the pool when we wwnt down because there were an excessive amount of people in it. It was closed when we returned from our activities.
- 4/5
Cleanness and hotel staff very friendly.
- 4/5
The seem to be a little outdated and the tv didn’t work , it was worth the price .
- 5/5
The staff was all very helpful and pleasant. I used to own a hotel.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable room, relaxing stay.
- 5/5
This was a really nice Hotel in a quiet area! But there was plenty to do and eat in the area!
- 2/5
Went out of town for a weekend trip for my sons brithday, arrived at the hotel and paid a 100$ deposit. The lady at the front desk was nice. When we arrived to the room the room didnt even have a room number it was only written in pencil. Smelled like a pool in the hallway leading up to the room. In the room it smelled like feet and the carpet was all stained. A lot of things were broken in the room like towel hooks. Even the phone in the room didnt even work. And as we stayed longer my children pointed out ants on the desk. Only stayed 1 night but probably wouldnt stay again. Morning breakfast was pretty good though lots of options.
- 3/5
None
- 2/5
The issue I had was other guests that were staying. They had a large group of families with older kids. The kids were outside at 1:30 -2:00 am playing on the basketball court and yelling. Then the following morning, the kids were running up and down the hallways banging on guests doors. When I say “banging” like shoulder knocking. It’s not a safe feeling for women traveling alone. I complained to the front desk and they said they would move me to the upper level but didn’t because they were fully booked. I wasn’t going to stay but they insisted they were going to try to fix it. Then the following night, kids were outside after 10:00 pm blasting music. Just not a good experience overall.
- 4/5
Check in was a bit slow because the front desk clerk seemed to be in training, which is no fault of their's. He was very friendly and inviting. Hotel was clean and nice looking. The pool was clean but cold! Overall a decent experience for the price!
- 3/5
Friendly staff, the hotel is old but very clean, room TV and phone are not working, since I stay only one night not bother to report. Overall it has good cost performance ratio, good selection for people with limited budget in their pocket.
- 1/5
Terrible place. We booked a 1 bedroom and they gave us a studio. When we argued that this is not right the desk clerk blamed hotels.com saying they are messing up the online reservation. Hyatt is not responsible for this mistake. They told us that either you stay in this studio for the 4 days we booked else they will cancel the reservation. We reached at like midnight and with 2 ladies could not go anywhere else in middle of night so had to stay there. The service was terrible, room was dirty, everything was outdated, front desk was rude and inconsiderate at all times, breakfast was below average, bed was stinking mattress etc. Miserable place. Please do not book here again was our conclusion.
- 1/5
This Hotel needs a overhaul. To expensive for what you get.
- 5/5
Staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. Breakfast options were good too. I left my AirPods there and they were nice enough to give me a call about it.
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly, the rooms are perfect for the price, and when there were some bad issues with some rowdy guests they handled it very quickly. Very pleased with our stay.
- 2/5
Given the wrong room twice, lobby nice but rooms dirty, stained sheets, pool was broken, no omelette station as promised, breakfast not refilled enough, had to beg for pool towels
- 4/5
Very nice property, & the front desk person was very nice!
- 1/5
the rooms were not clean. manger not helpful at all he was dodging fixing problems. i had water leaks in my room
- 1/5
Run down, dirty and poorly maintained facilities. Checked out a night early and went to a different hotel.
- 5/5
it is an accessible and convenient property.
- 1/5
Please choose elsewhere until they get thier issues remidied.
- 2/5
I feel like I was bamboozled. First upon arrival the room key wouldn’t work so they had to move us to another room. Hotel said maybe key block had dead batteries. Room doors are outdated and felt sketchy. Bleach spots on the carpet in Hallway smelled like chemicals. All the furniture in the room was banged up and outdated. Tv stands and tv and Heating and cooling unit all dusty. There was someone’s hair on the AC. I could not get the room phone to work at all. Then upon departure I was checking around the furniture to make sure I didn’t forget anything. There were two pair of men boxers behind the Tv stand I bet they are still there. There was only female on our trip the boxers absolutely did not belong to us. Pool room felt really dirty too and no towels . Elevators were old and the door didn’t stop when we were trying to hold it open for someone i was scared it was going to smash them. Then the front doors to the Hotel were jammed open . Maintenance was working on it. Cold air coming through. The people seemed nice enough. They allowed me to have an hour later check out because my daughter needed a place to get ready for her cheer comp. Other than that Didn’t have too much interaction with them. Breakfast was average continental no complaints . I paid more than other surrounding hotels to stay at this location thinking Hyatt was really nice and I wanted the two bedroom suite. Totally not worth it to me.
- 3/5
Good
- 4/5
The only thing I did not like was the kitchen ladies breakfast was to be served until 10am and they had things cleaned up by 945am. And they were not friendly. I just went downstairs to get a glass of juice at this time and a group of people came down at 9:45 and there was nothing left and you state you have breakfast until 10 am
- 3/5
The rooms needed to be upgraded. Tv service was not working. People running up and do the hallways. The fire alarm was pulled by an unattended child. The sink was linking in the bathroom. The noise level was high and I felt unsafe. They need security at this location. Elevator smell like smoke.
- 5/5
Perfect for our family who flew in from LA. Close to the mall and eating locations.
- 5/5
Antonio and the other staff were very kind and helpful!
- 4/5
Room was comfortable
- 4/5
Great staff, large rooms but very dated rooms & old gym.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay but the room was dated and old and not that clean. There were dead ladybugs in the window seal and the overall room looked dusty and dated. Definitely not like the one downtown Chicago. We enjoyed ourselves and made the best of it as a family but probably would not come back. The breakfast also got my son sick on the way home. The host was super
- 4/5
This location was great and staff was very accomadating however the breakfast could have been much better as the options were general (scrambled eggs, Sausage, diced potatoes and thin sliced of french toast). No syrup?
- 3/5
The building (room) appeared to be old and outdated, the breakfast wasn’t good, but the people who work there seem nice.
- 1/5
Don't believe what you read. Check in was 3 yet at 6 we barely had an uncleaned room to go to. Hotel said had a bar it didn't. Hotel supposed to have a nice breakfast both days they was out of food by 8am. The hotel ruin my Valentine's Day plans. Not even an apology no compensation no upgrades
- 3/5
Great location but beware! If you have a room anywhere close to the elevators, you will not have a good nights sleep at all. Noise was unbearable and a constant slamming noise was heard all night. So just try to avoid a room by the elevators or parking entrance at all costs.
- 5/5
I like how its close to the mall and other entertainment centers.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel around lots of restaurants and stores for shopping. Staff was accommodating and even provided a toddler playpen for our son to sleep in. Breakfast had different options every morning which was nice. Great stay!
- 3/5
The hot tub didnt work. Our room didn't have a room number displayed it was written on the wall with a pencil. Breakfast was blah.
- 5/5
Very friendly knowledgeable staff
- 5/5
House keeping wasn't arranged/ communicated properly to be done every day or at certain times and there were no amenities other than the pool area with Jacuzzi, sauna, and the very small gym! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and met most of our requests (sometimes we needed to ask more than once but it worked!!) and they changed an entire air conditioning unit that wasn't working for a new one in one of my bedrooms during our stay which was quite impressive so shoutout to their maintenance guy! Overall our stay did meet my expectations for what it was and I did enjoy making Hyatt house my home for over a week.
- 5/5
Great stay. Nice big rooms. Close to Woodfield mall and lots of food around the area.
- 3/5
We’ve stayed at this Hyatt before and really like the location. We have kids so we like the full sized refrigerator and kitchenette. There’s a lot of parking and breakfast is served everyday but basic continental options. The pool and hot tub is very small goes to about 4ft. The staff was not very attentive. The younger guy at check out never disclosed how much the deposit was which wasn’t an issue but they have no customer service skills. He didn’t let us know the pool or breakfast hours. I also requested for a roll away crib for a 4 night stay and they said they didn’t have any available upon check in. I had to ask 3 days in a row because they kept forgetting and finally on the 3rd night they brought one to the room. The room also was decently cleaned but you could tell just a quick wipe down. Fridge was still sticky and there were candy wrappers and peanuts under the couch and scattered around the room. We had to ask housekeeping to do a quick vacuum for us because I have a 1 year old walking around everywhere. The hotel itself was fine but sometimes it’s the staff that makes the difference. I wouldn’t book here a 3rd time.
- 5/5
Best Service I Love it
- 4/5
House amenities could be improved for better experience
- 5/5
I traveled with my daughter, niece and brother. We enjoyed the pool and our stay was comfy. The rooms were nice and the amenities of the hotel are awesome.
- 2/5
Would never go back to this hotel
- 4/5
Everything was mostly good. Bed and sofa bed were very uncomfortable. Things were ok until the ceiling was leaking and ruined personal items. Front desk was unable to do much but the head of housekeeping came to rectify the situation and put us in a better room.
- 3/5
Room could use some updating. We stayed four nights and never had any housekeeping services, even after talking to front desk staff requesting it after two nights.
- 5/5
Always an amazing time at this hotel. Our family spent the day there during this short Thanksgiving Break. Having a pool, hot tub and sauna is a huge plus and our family seemed to be the only family in the building this day.
- 3/5
The breakfast primarily consisted of eggs, with no cheese or variety. If you arrive late, there's often nothing left. During my 6-night stay, the soap was never refilled. Additionally, room service took the used towels but didn't replace them.
- 4/5

- 4/5
Things l liked the most about this place was clean and easy parking and the breakfast was wonderful.
- 2/5
Room carpet was dirty and sticky. The coffee maker didn’t work. The night stand light did not work. There were no pen and note pad in the room. The lights were very dim. Whit paint on the walls were dirty and old. Refrigerator’s compressor was making load annoying nose any time it started woking all night. It was totally not expected from Hyatt brand!
- 1/5
The front desk person was anything but friendly. On arrival , while settling in for the evening to our room, the building fire alarm goes off and after all the fire trucks and firemen were clearing out , there was no direction from hotel personnel that iir was safe to go back in, we were NOT invited back in. Instead we had to speak amongst ourselves about safety of going back to our rooms. This hotel’s management should get ZERO stars. When we brought this subject up with front desk staff, not even an apology from them. do NOT stay here.
- 3/5
The rooms were okay. The tv in our room did not work. Also, there is a “quiet time” but it was not quite and we had a very hard time sleeping. The quiet time was not enforced.
- 3/5
Breakfast advertised sausage but one day was deli sliced ham. One day was bacon. The other day I couldn’t bother because they said breakfast was at 6 but the eggs and other hot food wasn’t coming out til 6:30. No one ever greeted you when you entered or exited the building. The desk was right beside the door. They looked miserable working there. I stayed here for the price. 100/night. Bed was ok. Bathroom was not very clean and was out of soaps but I always carry my own. Didn’t use the kitchenette area but it does come with a full size fridge, microwave, cook top and all utensils. Fire alarm randomly went off one night. No one was informing guests what to do. Very nonchalant about it. Like it happens regularly?? It it were clean it’s definitely worth the price!

Had an issue, spoke to the front desk. Was informed the general manager was not available that day. Once I called the state police he magically appeared and his office looked like he'd been there all day. Having your staff lie for you is crazy. Staff actually doing it is even crazier, but we all need our jobs I guess.
