Great room!

The location was very nice. Having a kitchen and a large refrigerator was great. They seemed to have a good breakfast spread, although we didn't eat there. I like bacon a lot better than sausage. I think the price was kind of high when comparing it to other nearby properties. For example, staying in Elk Grove Village the next night was much more reasonable.

Front desk employee (David) went out of his way to provide the perfect room for our group (7 girls and 2 adults) for 10 year old birthday. Room was perfect for us and the pool was awesome! Loved our stay

Our room was very clean . The beds were very firm. Parking was convient. Security in and out was better than most. Halls were also clean The lobby and staff were welcoming and helpful. Overall great value

Housekeeping and breakfast staff were great. Room was ok. Shower had very little pressure and didn't get hot. Pool was nice - heated but didn't seemed to be warm.

Housekeeping never cleaned the room, breakfast was mediocre and I was never told the incidental fee at check in and was surprised when the large amount came out of the account

It was tough to get any housekeeping done. Plenty of towels, but no vacuuming or anything else done.

Grandson, love the pool my other guest love the workout area. Now the negatives did not have a recycling bin in the room rug in the living room needs to be cleaned and the one chair in the living room needs to be replaced. Looks kinda old and tattered.

Hotel is clean and well kept, breakfast is decent, and there are various stores nearby for necessities if needed. It's a *little* confusing when first arriving because TownePlace Suites is connected to, and on the back side of the Fairfield Inn. Both hotels share a common front desk, lobby, and facilities at the front, but only the sign for Fairfield Inn is on the front side of the building facing the main road. Only complaint: you've got a 2 bedroom suite that can sleep 5, with 4 registered guests staying... You'd THINK it would make sense to stock it with a minimum of 4 sets of bath linen, maybe an extra roll of TP, but alas, no. Housekeeping leaves 2 washcloths, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, one bath mat, and whatever partial roll of TP is already hanging on the wall. Every day of our stay, I had to go down to the front desk to get extra towels and washcloths, and every day, housekeeping would come in, pull out 4 used sets and leave 2 clean.

Kitchen could be updated as freezer not working well. Very small suite. Could be cleaned better

This hotel was amazing. The people that worked there were so nice, it included a nice breakfast, and the rooms were like small apartments with a full kitchen and everything. The rooms even had dishes you could use. I was super impressed and felt like we got a great value for what we paid.

Location is great, Hotel was ok for one night, a bit noisy and the interior was a bit outdated (in particular the carpet) Did not get the room in the hotel I booked (allegedly there was only one room left and it was not ready at 4.30 pm when I checked in), but instead they put me in the Fairfield Inn, which is adjacent to it

We really liked how the room was laid out. Wish the breakfast went later into the morning. Wish the TV was a little bit bigger. We're spoiled.

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff is very helpful and accommodating.

Worst part about the stay, and what would be one of the most important, is the comfort of the beds. It was like sleeping on a rock. I don’t know who orders those mattresses, or if they even test them out, but they killed our backs the whole stay. Unfortunately, it was a non-refundable stay so we had to bear with it. I informed the staff halfway a couple days into our stuff, and the best they were able to do is move our room. Which obviously that wasn’t going to solve anything since every bed is the same in the facility. We moved anyway, and it was just as awful. We will definitely not be returning to this hotel, and probably not any Marriott facility from this point forward. Also, from this point on, we’ll have to make sure that we only choose a refundable hotel just in case.

the closeness to everything like shopping malls and all different kinds of restaurants to choose from and the only maybe 20 minutes drive to Allstate Arena and easy to navigate liked everything

Housekeeping never cleaned our room and when we asked them about it they did not understand anything we were saying because they didnt speak English.

The review was not the best only because of the cleaning staff. Requested a full clean did not receive. Only pulled garbage and made up bedroom beds. Left every thing else unclean. Kitchen and bathroom nit touched. Floors unclean let out bed not changed. Just very bed service for cleaning. Toilet stopped up they left all water on floor, we had to use all towels to get water up from floor. Bad experience with cleaning staff.

Hallways smell strong like Indian spices. I have stayed there more than 4 times. Also too many large dogs being allowed in.

Size of room, kitchen. And bathroom. The daily room cleaning was great. Front desk was helpful. I never was able to get up in time for breakfast, I was on vacation. Would be nice to extend hours.

Cleanliness’s No bad experience

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 4 years. It’s a great hotel - clean, easy parking, restaurants, good breakfast and near from O’Hare Airport. Meets all customer needs.

We recently had a four night stay for a funeral. It was nice to come and go as we needed to and not be bothered by the staff when we chose not to be. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was average. It was an average room but nice to have the extra's of the fridge and microwave for the extra stay. We would stay again when we visit.

I wasn’t sure as to where one hotel began and the other ended because I wasn’t expecting them to be combined. The entrance was dimly lit and very vacant in appreance. The carpeting was dirty and dated

Nettled in a quiet area off the beaten path but within close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and interstates. You arrive to very bright and clean areas (outside and inside). Very clean and spacious rooms with all the amenities you need for a lengthy stay. I really can't say enough about my stay. I know that I will be recommending the TownePlace Suites Chicago Schaumburg to family/friends and when I plan my next trip to Chicago.

Combining the two Marriott brands is brilliant and confusing. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay.

Overall stay was good, there was no service after 10pm to bring us towels to shower so that was a down fall.

This property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was the breakfast area was a bit chaotic. There were no clear lines for the different eating options and the seating was limited. We must have chosen a busy time to eat, so it might not always be an issue. Everything else was wonderful and the area has a lot of shopping and dining options.

Great experience only downside was the comp breakfast! The seating area wayyyy over crowded not enough space to sit and eat. The food unimpressive as well but besides this everybody was 😊

Out room was spacious with the fridge, microwave, sink and two burner stove. The beds were comfy. They high though; it was hard for my 4 year old to climb up at times. The bathroom is smaller however it is just the toilet and shower and the sink was separate. Water was hot, they provided shampoo, conditioner and bodywash not just the little complimentary ones. Water pressure isn't high if that if that's what you prefer. Breakfast was provided. We went around 845 and there was decent amount left-sausages, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, toast, hard boiled eggs. There was a lot of people and seating was taken so we ate in our room, no big deal. Pool was decent also. Couldve been warmer but I prefer a warmer pool. It waant bad. There were decent amount of people and room still available for all of us. Towela were provided and area waa clean. Pool was decent not too cold

The room was fine. It was an accessible room so it had a little extra space inside. The layout is awkward however. The large bathroom door is right across from the kitchenette and doesn't stay open without a stopper. When open, it's in your way most of the time. Townplace is a combined sister hotel with Fairfield Inn so I was confused when entering the Townplace entrance as to why there wasn't a manned front desk. There is signage with arrows that direct you to the Fairfield location for check-in. This appears to be a post-COVID efficiency change. Also, both hotels share the same breakfast area. I have stayed on the Fairfield side a few times and their suites offer more space at a lower cost so I would more than likely choose that option next time.

Great hotel. Seems very new and nice. Huge pool. 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our family. Had to call a couple times to get a pack and play delivered but no other complaints!

It was a ladies getaway to celebrate a 60th birthday!! The check-in process was easy and the staff ensured we were assigned rooms next to one another. I was in a 2-bedroom suite; each bedroom and the living area had their own thermostat to provide varying levels of comfort. The suite was spacious, clean, affordable and offered a free breakfast!! I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Ive been there numerous times but this time i think they should have cleaned the carpet better and the couch. Its was a decent amount of hair left on the couch

The room was comes with a kitchen and has enough to make a meal. The layout of the rooms are a bit weird but doable. I liked that it had heating and hot water. Cleaning staff friendliness could be improved. The staff didn't really want to come in and clean the rooms. They just take the trash out and replace the towels. Also breakfast was not that good. It was the same every morning and limited options. The eggs came from a frozen box which made it unappealing. Also breakfast ends at 9 am which is too early in my opinion.

I enjoyed my stay here at this newer hotel. Everything is in working order and the rooms are big enough for 1-2 people. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything one needs to make a meal. I wish the breakfast would be longer until 10 or 10:30 or so as the 9 am cutoff is a little early for me. Other than that I felt safe and the area has lots of shopping nearby but a car is recommended. There is free parking on site as well.

We were there for a family event. Everything was perfect. The location of the event was just 2 mins away from the hotel. Will definitely go back and stay at Towneplace Suites

What I love about staying at hotels is that it’s quiet and I can relax

Biggest issue is we rented our 2 bedroom suite months ahead of time and when we arrived, they had overbooked and we were given connecting rooms instead. There was no explanation or compensation for this. Additionally, the breakfast was quite terrible. Other hotels like Embassy Suites do a much better job.

Front desk is completely rude. with the exception of an Korean woman who is the most helpful. the general manager Charum, along with Corrina are extremely unprofessional, lack knowledge and consistently fell through on promises and accommodations

The rooms were a lot smaller than what they look like in the website. Everything was very close together. The towels were thin. Comfortable bed. Everything else was good.

I stayed here for NYE. The little things that were wrong were clear wear and tear. The outlet by the mirror didn’t work and toilet paper holder was half broken. Then it got a little bit worse when kitchen utensils had dried dirty food on them and we’re still placed in the drawers. The worst part was that there was a party in the room next door. I know it’s New Years, but to party literally the ENTIRE night and the front desk not do anything about it was unacceptable. It sounded like the room next door was getting trashed and I got no sleep. The response from the girl at the front desk was “its New Years” and she knew the room number. Like I’m not trying to be a Karen at 12:30. I called at 2am. The noise was still going at 11am. I got no sleep. Probably the worst stay I’ve had at a hotel in my entire life.

This was the 4th time I have stayed at this hotel and my experience has been the same, exceeded expectations as always. Will definitely be staying here again when I revisit Chicago area.
