We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast every morning was great. Our room was clean and the staff was great.

Excellent and friendly staff all around. Good location and nice beds and amenities. Laundry room was good. Pool was cold and no hot tub available but nice garden otherwise.

Everything was fine except for the staff that checks you in and out. Not very helpful and you have to pry the information you need out of them. No effort to ensure you have the information you need for your stay. Basic things like where your room is, where the elevator is, where’s the gym, how parking works, etc.

Location was convenient to restaurants, shopping and beaches. The daily charges for parking did not make me feel like a fully welcomed guest.

I smelled something unpleasant like rotten fish while I walked out of the room and walking to the elevator. I couldn't believe this could happen in a high class hotel like Hilton. Sad! The staff was nice and professional though, thanks for their help and free cookies.

Location is great! Right across Del Amo mall and other grocery stores, so many restaurants. Area feels safe. Check in and out was a breeze. Amenities like the heated pool and jacuzzi was clean and well kept. Room was clean. Staff were great!

Breakfast , eggs runny , fruit was not fresh, not worth $ 29 charge that is for sure..I even upgraded room and got a room with worn out cabinets that were faded or chipped badly, no microwave...the outlets in our room by bed were worn out and plugs kept slipping out...furniture was seemingly leftover from someone, bad color schene..rugs had stains, shower drain had a lot of rust around strainer...not worth the price of a room, the staff was very friendly probably only plus...

Front desk was very helpful. Parking was a bit confusing around the area checking in, and they assisted us to better accommodations. Traveling with teenagers, they helped us get a more suited spacious room. The place was clean and neat. Breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. As a family of 4, we loved our stay. We would stay there again.

Beautifully remodeled rooms and public spaces. Delicious breakfast included. Great fitness center. My only criticism is that presence of free Epoch Times, which is extreme propaganda.

Room was very clean. But breakfast consisted of overcooked and bland scrambled eggs, with dry and flavorless pancakes. Dinner service uses very limited staffing and service is noticeably slow.

The staff was great. The bed was so comfy but the room was not completely clean I took some photos of some stuff like the sink had hair in it when I got there the faucet wasn’t cleaned properly. Dust in the corners. The desk had a cough drop/candy under it. And the shower had rust all around it

Our last night at the hotel had parties and our room was vibrating along with the loud music that we could hear. Called front desk and asked when the music would end and they said about midnight. We called front desk about 1040pm.

They charge $30 for parking. But you can find street parking that is like 5 min away.

Parking at $30 a day is not included in the price. The cookies they give you doesn't make up for the high cost of parking.

The card readers in elevators are terrible, really hard to read your card key, so many people complained but the employees don't care. USB chargers in room never works. Is this a DoubleTree quality?

I haven’t been to this DoubleTree in years I grew up in Torrance so this hotel has been around and it is a nice hotel… I have a few gripes… my room trash bin has not been emptied and it looked like it was cleaned very hastily… the parking is $30 a night it is no included with your stay and they do not validate… I remember back in the day I could park for free enjoy the bar and restaurant and go home… this is Torrance not LA so I was taken aback by paying for parking especially if I’m staying and paying to be at the hotel… lastly when confirming my room the day of I got a very rude receptionist who was treating me very badly over the phone I didn’t get her name but she hung up on me… the rest of the staff was friendly but that one lady put a bad taste in my mouth for the Torrance Double Tree.

Nice place. They have a peloton bike but it wouldn’t work because there was no internet service. I left the front desk know but they acted like I didn’t know how to use it. I was unable to connect to the WiFi myself because the settings were locked by an admin. I also left a note there was no shower gel and they didn’t refill it. The second night I removed the bottle and set it on top of the note which it then got refilled. The complimentary breakfast was really nice though. Room was clean. The gentleman that ran the breakfast was very friendly and did a great job taking care of everyone.

When I am paying almost $1300.00 for 5 nights, it's pretty pathetic that we couldn't 2 extra bottles of water for our room without paying for them.

Really nice stay. Hotel under some construction but would recommend it due to the customer service which was excellent from the front desk to the restaurant.

Horrible customer service and most USB ports in multiple rooms are broken and not working.

Close to the beach and pier

We did have a bit of a problem with the A/C in the room but on speaking with the staff, it was dealt with swiftly and we were up and running in no time. Only one down side this year is the introduction of paid parking, a bit of a downer when it had historically been free. Overall though, great stay, thanks to all the staff once again!

Very disappointed I booked a suite with a balcony and ended up in a room without one. Such is life for Father’s Day weekend. Wasn’t completely ruined. Atleast the staff was nice

We had a great time i think my favorites were the pool area and the comfortable bed. But they didn't offer brekfast it would have been better with brekfast

When we checked in, we were given an outside access room. The room felt like a cheap motel. When we asked about cancelling our second night because we didn't like our room, they offered to move us to the main building. This was much better and we stayed both nights.

Easy to find and beautiful hotel

It was difficult to check-in because we had driven there and there is no place to temporarily park while checking in and parking was only through a gate lot and very expensive for the overnight stay.

Sheets were stained, they smelled like pure bleach. The window was open when we arrived, let in mosquitos.

$30 parking is too expensive for the area.That is why I book other better hotel in the same area but with free parking on second night.

They now charge a ridiculous $30 a day to park. This property has two huge lots that have never been full. This is ridiculous to charge parking without disclosing it prior to booking.

The room was very nice, comfortable beds. We were really looking forward to using the hot tub which was really cold and not usable. The manager apologized and said they would turn on the heating element and call us when it was ready to use. He called and we went back down to use it and unfortunately it was still not warmed up but maybe slightly less cold, so we couldn’t enjoy it.

Location is excellent if you are doing business in the area. Walkable to dining options and shopping. The rooms are large and the gym and pool are nice features. Only complaint I have is that the bottle water is not free but the front desk told me it was.

There is some construction inside the hotel but we weren’t planning on dining here anyway.

I had a great stay. The staff were polite and pleasant. The room was clean and I felt very comfortable. I would stay again in the future and I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to LA.

I had a most excellent stay at the Double Tree in Torrance! It was so conveniently located to many places while also being just far enough away from the true hustle and bustle of the greater L.A. area. I loved my first visit to this area and would most certainly consider staying at this same hotel. The bedding was so comfortable. I had the best sleep I've ever had in a hotel bed here. It was quite welcoming also to receive a cookie upon checking in. There were a lot of amenities at this hotel available if you didn't want to go anywhere with a very relaxing lounge area inside and outside in the courtyard pool area. Even though there seemed to be renovations of sorts going on during my stay, everything was still kept quite clean and unobtrusive. The only negative comment I have is the difficulty I had using the elevator keycard system. It worked sometimes, but other times it did not. Other than that, thank you for the lovely stay and for letting my friend and I play Godfather Monopoly in the bar area.

Close to Korean Restraunt and grocery

We had an awesome stay at the Double Tree in Torrance. It was right beside an amazing Korean grocery store, Benihana, Starbucks, and a bunch of cool places. The mall is right across the street. The hotel was nice, the beds the comfy, and the pool and jacuzzi were all great as well. The staff were all friendly and nice. And of course there were the cookies =)

Me and my coworker stayed here but I was given in a different building which is the older building, I requested for the same property but the receptionist was not giving me the same. Me and my coworker booked the same.

This hotel has excelente cuisine! I'm talking gourmet food. I come here for the room service haha They have carpaccio in the menu and amazing salads. Super delicious food. I usually come here once a year to enjoy their menu and watch old movies. Also the shower is wonderful, good pressure and it has a place to sit down in the shower. Everyone who works here is nice and the hotel is well located close to everything. They also have a nice pool and jacuzzi. This my place to go when I want to unwind and treat my myself.

I loved this particular double tree hilton hotel whenever we go to souther California. It’s close to all amenities. You are just 2 miles alway from Rodondo beach and so much much more. The hotel staff are friendly and they offer great service. Always look forward to the fresh baked cookies. This is my second stay will definitely return if we are in the area.

Friendly staff and clean rooms

This location is great and the parking is no hassle at all. There's a mall across the street and there's a crosswalk which is convenient since the parking there is crazy! My ONLY gripe is the internet. I've tried MANY times to sign on. Right now I'm using my wifi hotspot because I never was able to sign in their internet. Also there is a pool and hot tub outside, but it's ALWAYS breezy in this area. FYI.

We visit the South Bay a few times a year and this has become our go-to for spending time in Redondo. Quiet, comfortable, great beds, reasonably priced compared to hotels by the water. We'll be back!

We really enjoyed the great staff and nice clean rooms with close parking that was free.

Property was nice. The ice machine on the 4th floor was out of ice the entire time of our stay. The shower configuration is not the best but the design was nice. We had to turn the faucet knob quickly and get out of the way to avoid getting wet. Convenient location-close to the mall, etc.

Very classy upscale hotel, loved the ambience entry of hotel and staff was very polite and welcoming. Plenty of food and snacks to purchase and loved the late hours of being able to order food service till 11pm.

Walked in and on check in they told us that they were all booked for the night even though I had a reservation. After a bit they got me in a room. When i tried checking out through the phone every time that i called i got a busy tone, not even able to do it by a tv like every other hotel i have been in. Only great experience I had was with our bellman (Charles), really friendly and even recommended me some places to go visit in the Philippines for my next vacation
